Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza Hut is one of those major chains that often sends out some great deals via Email and I finally decided to take advantage of one. 3-topping medium for just $6 available for carryout. Sure. The Email linked me to their online site which made it is as easy to order exactly what I wanted as the other big pizza chains. Also, I do like how Pizza Hut offers you the additional touch of multiple drizzles and flavored crusts to further add flavor to a custom order. When I drove up, I attempted to walk inside to get my pizza but the doors were locked and no employees were visible. There were people sitting in their cars in the parking lot who told me to visit the drive-thru, which I thought was odd but it seemed my only option. Multiple people came to the window over a few minutes, but nobody was rude or unprofessional and my pizza was ready at the promised time for that very low price. The pan pizza was prepared exactly as I ordered it, served hot and covered in plenty of fresh toppings. From the brief glance of the dining room, I would never considering dining in. However, another online order for a similar deal will surely be a consideration.

More like 2.5 stars! This is located on S Dale Mabry across from LA fitness. Clean inside, lots of tables and chairs yet no one was there lol. Since I ordered online, I was only there to pick up my pizza. I walked in and waited patiently by the counter but no one came by to greet or ask if I needed help. I was very surprised with the lack of customer service there :O Couple of minutes later, lady came by the counter and got me settled. I ordered medium pan pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers with a drizzle of honey Sriracha. Best part, I got this for $6. I love their crust, especially the crust for their pan pizza. Buttery, crusty goodness brushed with garlic butter and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and herbs. Oh yea, a-mazing!! Overall, good pizza but needs to work on their customer service.

This young man who took my order was perfect. He said in the beginning that this Pizza Hut was at Azeele and Dale Mabry. Good I was at the right Pizza Hut. I gave him my order and he said thin or regular. I said thin, thank you for remembering for me. He was great. He helped me to give him my order with no mistakes. His name is Anthony. Ticket 75. Register 6, Unit #004660 on 9-23-15. Thank you Pizza Hut for having such good employees. Marie C. Ballon

We were staying in a hotel in Tampa that is 1.2 miles from this Pizza Hut location. We had been traveling and go, go, going all week long and felt like staying in for the night, so we decided to have a pizza delivered and watch the basketball game. The girl I spoke with on the phone when placing my order was very nice. She said our order would be delivered in 45 minutes. Exactly 45 minutes later, the phone in our room rang and it was a person from the front desk letting us know to meet the delivery guy. They get the 2 stars because the girl I spoke with was so nice, because the order arrived on time, and because the 2 liter Pepsi we ordered was ice cold. That's where the good stops. The pizza was cold. Really cold. I'm still boggled by this since they were only 1.2 miles away. The breadsticks were hard and mostly inedible. The entire meal was a total disaster. When in Tampa, I will NEVER order from this Pizza Hut again. This was the absolute worst Pizza Hut delivery experience I have ever had in my life.

Our hotel was only 1.2 miles from this location, so we decided to order pizza and have it delivered. The girl on the phone was friendly... They delivered the food in exactly 45 minutes as she said and our Pepsi 2-liter was cold.... The pizza was cold-- almost as cold as the Pepsi... And the breadsticks were so hard they may as well have been drumsticks... terrible... Definitely will not order from here in the future.
(2)Greg G.
Very very slow service.... I had to wait almost an hour for my pizza and the when it was finally ready they realized that they hadn't made my order of bread sticks. I wouldn't recommend this Pizza Hut.
(1)Allen S.
If you choose this Pizza Hut, don't order from the web site. Although it looks convenient, your order will likely be screwed up. I'm 0 for 2. Last night I ordered online at 4:30 for delivery at 6:30. At 6:50 nothing had showed up so I called. "Um, there's been a problem with your order, it's in the oven now." Like they forgot it? The manager was sorry, and comped the pizza. It arrived 50 minutes late, and when I opened it, they had screwed up the ingredients also!!! Left things off. If you insist on Pizza Hut, go in person and check before you walk away. There's gotta be a decent pizza place in Tampa!

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! The online app does not recognize this location. The woman answering the phone argued with me regarding address of hotel. Then put me on hold for 10 minutes. Then, a man takes over and mumbles like a 3 yr old with a mouthful of marbles. After having to repeat everything 4 times, I was told to hold again. This time 5 minutes and then disconnected. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND SHOULD NEVER USE THIS LOCATION. If I could give negative stars, I would. I am a business traveler who is used to good delivery service and recommend those service and businesses.
(1)Susan S.
My medium one topping pizza took an hour and fifteen minutes to arrive, in the middle of the day. I live less than 5 minutes away. When the pizza arrived, it was cold and not cooked entirely. When I called about the delivery time, I was told to just wait longer because they were really behind. The delivery girl never apologized or mentioned the time, nor was I offered anything to come back (there weren't even the usual coupons on the box). I will not be ordering from them again.
(1)Chris D.
We order the thin crust with extra pepperoni and extra cheese here weekly. Delivery is fast despite the difficulty of navigating our complex. Never a complaint and the "new recipe" is delicious. Take advantage of their Large pizza for $11. Great deal.
