It was really good, but the taste changed and portion shrunk.

OMG yum! I love this place! Big portions and delicious! I crave this place!
(5)Travis M.
Pad Thai is the best here!! I like mine really spicy . The coconut chicken lime soup Is so refreshing and clean tasting . A great small place snuggled by the horrible abc pizza place

Okay, first things first, this place might not look like much from the outside (or inside for that matter) but don't let that stop you from ordering. Seriously. This might be the best Thai food I've ever had, ever. Unbelievably authentic. Prices are extremely competetive. We've tried almost everything on the menu (not kidding). Be adventerous! Don't just order the Pad Thai (though that is very tasty). Thai Iced tea is seriously delish. Service is amazing, food comes out fast. Superb for take out. Chicken is always cooked perfectly, as is the tofu. Rockin' food.

Call me old fashioned, but I do believe when you go to a restaurant and the food is undercooked ( chicken in this case ), an apology should be expected at the very least. My friend and I both ordered the Pad Thai and both plates contained chicken which was nearly raw. The server offered no apology or anything, just grabbed the plate and had it cooked again. After getting our checks and paying the bill, not even a simple thank you was offered to us. So, if you eat here, check to make sure the food is fully cooked and don't expect the service to be anywhere near acceptable.

The food is AMAZING. The Pad Wusen (I hope that's what it's called) is delicious. I hate Thai ice tea, or thought I did until I had it here, now I LOVE IT. Will definitely go back again, and again.

Hands down the best Thai food in Tampa!

Been here a handful of times for awhile now. Pretty awesome Pad Thai, but I don't know much about the noodles they serve (Only had one bowl). But the broth they used for that one time was pretty good and the service is kind. Very subtle, but nice place; would recommend anyone to go there at least once. :)

Hiding in plain sight, this is one of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten at (out of quite a few). I sifted through many sites and reviews to find just the right price and variety without compromising on quality, and I couldn't have been better rewarded. No Asian fusion nonsense here, just absolutely delicious traditional soups, noodles, and curry (full menu at tampanoodles.com ). After the first time, I took my sister there the following day, so I've tried something from each section. All too often, Thai can be overwhelmingly spicy, flavorless, or too oily, but not here. Flavor was perfectly balanced and very fresh tasting, as only an experienced cook would know. The lady who runs it was charming, as others have mentioned. It's small and without frills, but also clean and inexpensive. Give it a go--you won't be disappointed.

The prices for all the entrees at this restaurant are very reasonable and the portions are generous. So far, I've ordered the chicken tom yum noodle soup, chicken tom kah noodle soup, and special egg rolls, and they've all been fantastic -- well-cooked and with very strong flavors. The owners are also incredibly friendly and service is quick.

My husband and I ate lunch at Asian Noodle World today for the first time and were very pleased. The food was excellent and the prices were the best I have seen for Thai food in the area. The menu is mostly Thai and everything we ordered was excellent. Pretty much everything on the menu looked good and we were planning what to order next time. We will definitely be back for lunch and possibly takeout. Highly recommend trying if you love well prepared Thai food and are not interested in ambiance. The food is better than at the nearby restaurants with nicer decor and about half the price.

I used to get the pad thai a couple times a week when it was $7.30. Now they've raised the price and not change the portion. Sometimes it's undercooked sometimes it's just right. It's owned by a father daughter team. She can be very rude most of the time and is not as good of a cook. Poor customer service drove me away now I really go unless I really want some Thai food this is still the best. Like someone else mentioned the glasses are always dirty and I seen her scoop ice with her hand.
(4)Angel A.
Every time I visit this place I leave full and very satisfied. I only wish I could get myself to order something other than the Pad Thai. It's th best I've ever had. My sweetie had Drunken Noodles and Thai Iced Tea. We are lifetime fans.
(5)Lacy H.
The food is cheap. Water glass was disgusting and the pad se ew literally sat in a pile of grease.

So I'm driving stopped at a red light opened yelp to see what's near and has good ratings to eat ! Well I didn't have enough time to look at the menu so I called this place ! Asked about my favorite dish ! This Guy was like yea we have drunking noodles I'm like how much and how big is the portion size he responds and I asked can you tell me what veggies are in it he's like no but u can check the menu on our site (I'm allergic to a few greens) .... I responded so I'm driving and was hoping to place the order now would u be able to tell me ? He's like no I'm like that's unfortunate that's poor customer service & would make you loose a customer he's like that's fine I don't like ur attitude anyway !!!! completely unprofessional will never give this place a time of day regardless of the ratings ! Sorry Not Sorry

I had seen this restaurant several times but had never been inside until my friend introduced me to it. We shared some of their noodle dishes, and the flavors were spot-on. The food was very affordable, and the portion sizes were just right. The service is also very fast, and the food comes out very quickly after yourorder it. You can hear it sizzling in the wok, as you are tortured by anticipation. I suppose the only things I found more irksome are that the restaurant seems to be closed randomly, and there's limited air conditioning. However, I do find the heat a pleasant duet with the fire burning in my mouth when I get things Thai hot.

I've been coming to this place for over 4 years and even though I've graduated from USF, I still come back and visit. Best hole in the wall place, food prepared on the spot and the owners are so sweet. They even keep up on what I'm doing in life, HIGHLY recommended, I'd give 10 stars if I could. For beginners, try the Pad Thai, spring rolls and come Thai tea.
(5)C David S.
How does this place have such high reviews? This is the worst Pad Thai I've ever had. It has no flavor, tiny portion and well... Sucks! The establishment is very tiny and ugly. I stopped hoping to find a diamond in the rough. Now I'm just hoping to avoid a post entree illness. Avoid!!! Enough said
(1)Pratigya T.
Been there few times because I really liked the Tom yum soup. The last time I went , I ordered fried rice and pad Thai for a change which was not impressive also found two short pieces of black hair in the food which was super gross
(2)James R.
I had driven by it many times, but never stopped until my girlfriend recommended. I was very impressed. Amazing Thai Food. The Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, & Pad See Ew are excellent. I also had a curry rice dish that was very tasty. It is reasonably priced & their food has great flavor.
(5)Daphne S.
Tried this place out after seeing good reviews. I ordered the pad see ew per the waitress's suggestion. For an $8 takeout lunch it was the smallest amount of food I've ever seen just sitting in a puddle of oil. It didn't even fill out the bottom of the takeout box. Everything is over seasoned. Never again.

I'm a regular here for lunch (take out) and I always get the Pad Thai. It's a simple restaurant, nothing fancy but has great food. The service is also good.. there's an elderly man, he's very sweet. The Pad Thai is delicious! It has a good portion, not too less that you feel like you didn't have lunch at all and not too enormous that you take a 5 hour nap after eating. Good deal for $7.75.
(4)Wilhelm R.
Best place to go for tom yum in Tampa, and there's quite a few. Big portions, reasonable prices, and the owners are the sweetest people on the planet. Sometimes they close for several weeks at a time for holiday though. If you come and they're closed just check the date on the sign and come back then because it's worth it.
(5)Kevin G.
This little place has some crazy-good noodles.

Good pad Thai in Tampa

After living in Australia for a while, I have to say I am so happy to find Thai food like they have down under! My favorites: the tofu appetizer and the chicken pad thai. It seems much less "Americanized" than most other places I have been. I think they're portions for the price are great, and that's saying a lot coming from a graduate student. Best place around USF area. Obviously, if you're looking for a sit down Thai restaurant, this isn't your place. But if you want good quality food at affordable prices, Noodle and Thai is great.
(4)Jeremy B.
While I disagree that this is the best Thai in town, it is definitely up there near the top, especially given the extremely reasonable prices. Thai is usually something you expect to pay a little bit more for, so it's nice to have a more affordable alternative. The portion sizes are also perfect- filling you up without leaving that small amount of leftovers you have to finish because there aren't enough to take home. My wife ordered the pad thai and said it was one of the better ones she has had since we moved here. I got the thai preaw wan, which is basically a sweet and sour soup with lots of veggies and pineapple. While the veggies were a little sparse, I still enjoyed it and was filled with a little rice to spare. We both opted for tofu instead of chicken and their tofu is lightly fried for that perfect chew. We just did take out so we didn't have a whole lot of interaction with the staff, but they were definitely friendly. I would also advise on doing take out as the location is small and a bit warm in evening. Sometimes you want the best regardless of the cost, and sometimes you want a place where you can similar flavors without cutting into your gas money. Noodle and Thai is that place. Trust me, that's a compliment. :)

Ridiculously good egg rolls that are like nothing I have had anywhere else, great traditional dishes and a few new ones have left me wanting to eat there everyday since. It was too warm inside for my liking and I'm not sure if they were having AC problems or if they just weren't running it because the staff seemed ok while we were sweating, but once I started eating, I forgot about it.
(5)Matt M.
Oh my gosh, I would move here just to be close enough to each here each week. Very authentic, very reasonable, great service. Not a fancy place and hard to find, but so so worth it. I have appointments nearby every few months and I am making this a stop on my journey every time I go. Just remember that it is hard to find the first time, but after that your stomach will lead you right to it.
(5)Linda N.
This is my all-time favorite Thai place in Tampa. It's like those hole-in-the-wall type eateries, except the food is amazing and the prices are much, much cheaper. Despite the cheap prices, the quality of the food is not at all low quality. I usually order the Pad Thai or Pad See Ew. YUMMAY. The very pretty and nice Thai lady who is almost always there is incredibly helpful and will guide you through the menu, if you have trouble choosing what to eat or have never been here before! Near the intersection of Bruce B Downs and Fletcher Avenue, Noodle & Thai is absolutely convenient for USF students craving cheap and great Thai food!
(4)Nicole M.
This is easily the best pad Thai in town. Didn't even know I was eating tofu until my friend told me! The food comes out extremely quickly, but I wouldn't recommend eating in, the place is tiny and they only have 3 tables. However, last time I tried to go in August, they were temporarily shut down due to a family emergency until sometime in September. So hopefully it will be open soon, because I am craving their pad Thai! Be advised, it is prepared sweet, but you can ask for spicy! Update: They are open and just as delicious! We get food here once a week, normally pad thai, red curry, or yellow curry. It's all amazing, and relatively cheap! If you're tired of Chinese food, definitely give this place a shot!
(5)Melinda F.
Noodle & Thai is absolutely amazing. The outside looks pretty shady and it doesn't look too nice on the inside, but the food is just phenomenal. The service is great, the prices are good, and the food is prepared quickly. I would definitely recommend the Pad Thai (best I've had thus far), the Pad wun sen, the pad see ew, or pretty much anything else! I don't really feel like the appetizers were worth the price (relatively speaking; though the curry puffs are prettyyy good), but of course it is up to the visitor's discretion. tl;dr: Thai hole-in-the-wall, delicious, get the Pad Thai!
(5)Osman P.
I eat a lot of Thai and the food quality was OK. The staff, as others have written, were indeed very friendly. I was also glad to see reasonable portion sizes. If you want Thai food on a budget, this place is acceptable but don't come here for the ambiance. It's on par with a dive-bar. The location is also sketchy, so don't leave your valuables in the car.
(3)Debbi M.
Don't let the store front location fool you. Step inside for some great food. Owner/chef made me feel like I was at his home kitchen. Although my panang curry was made with green beans, a variation I had not had, it was in such a great curry sauce, didn't even realize I was eating my greens. Price was very reasonable.
(4)Vishal P.
This is the worst Thai restaurant of all time. The service sucks, they don't know how to answer the phone, the food was burnt and they put chicken in all the vegetarian entrees.
(1)Ashley C.
Amazing customer service and great food! They take pride in everything on their menu and she remembers all of those who come frequently. They make the spring rolls and curry puffs fresh in the restaurant daily. The food is adorable, fresh and served in a nice proton. I love the drunk noodles, have been diving here for years and not one negative thing to say about them.
(5)Rahul P.
Don't ever go here. I'm probably one of the easiest going customers in general but this is the worst place I've been to in the US. I asked the lady for Green curry Thai hot. Is that abnormal? She went off on a tirade about not being able to give me Thai hot and said she'd make it however she normally makes it. I was feeling unwell and wanted something hot to eat and she absolutely treated me horribly even though there was no customer in the restaurant. As my order was to go, I tried to ask her to get one of the condiments on the side. She yelled , "you don't touch anything! " . Reading other comments and asking friends of mine who went there it seems that she is pretty rude to certain "races". I'm never eating here again. PS :.I tipped decently even though it was to go. But out of general decency as I don't need to stoop to her levels.

This little place is a hidden gem. The lady server was very sweet. My mom is picky when it comes to soups but she loved the Seafood Tom Yum. I got the spicy wings and ground pork with basil leaves and rice with egg, it was delicious. My husband liked the spicy chicken with vegetables. Will come back for sure!!
(5)Alice K.
Good pad thai and crispy shrimp, but the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. It was stuffy inside.
(3)April Z.
The staff were friendly, although neither of them said "Thank you" or "Have a nice day" after I paid for my order. I only saw two people working there (hostess and cook) so there might be a long wait if a large group of people were to stop by. Maybe there was another cook or two further back that I didn't see. I was the only customer there at about 1:30pm today, and only had to wait about 5-6 minutes for my order. I had the "Panang Curry" for $6.95, and substituted tofu for the chicken. It tasted great but they were a bit stingy with the tofu. Also the crushed peanuts were missing. There were string beans in it so I'm not sure if they were substituting that for the crushed peanuts (?) I'll give them another try in the next couple of weeks and will try the Red Curry.
