This is definitely the best delivery in Tampa and a pretty close immigration of NYC pizza. I've been pleasantly surprised by the pizza selections in tampa and this is definitely one of my top 2. If you're getting delivery this is the place to call

This place offers some of the larger size slices in Ybor (many pizzerias nearby). Easy to take out from the window. Price includes sales tax...no fumbling with coins. They often offer slice specials, like 2 slices and a soda, etc. They routinely offer several different pizza's by the slice as well, like white pizza, veggie, etc. Now for sit-in...another story all together. It's loud in here. Also the restrooms need a few gallons of bleach, to clean it up. So pizza by the slice, 4 stars, indoor dining and restroom facilities, 2 stars, avg. 3 stars.

This pizza place came recommended to me by three different people. Always in search of a delicious slice, I made sure to give it a try. I love small, family run places like this, and when you order at the window from the sidewalk, a good slice is almost sure to follow! This was no exception, and the slice was delicious. The problem? I was completely grossed out! First impression was that this place isn't the cleanest. We figured we might fare better inside. Big mistake! We stepped out and ordered at the window. We decided to stand, rather than sit at the disgusting tables and chairs. Mind you, this was the middle of a very slow afternoon, so no excuses about busy night! We got our drinks, and the moisture on the outside of the cup was all dirty from the guy's hands. Should have left, but our hunger and the smell got the best of us. Lesson learned here...look around for a minute before ordering. Good pizza or not, I could never eat here again! Basically, what you have here is four star pizza, and one star for cleanliness. This place is run by pigs! Wash your hands. Clean up!

An Ybor City staple, New York, New York Pizza is a stop you have to make. I've been visiting Ybor for AGES and i'd avoided it forever until now. The other night after a comedy show, I was hungry and needed food, so with the others in my party, we made our way down to NYNY and indulged in a slice each. I got the Grandmother's pizza, the toppings were a bit sparse, but the crust was good, especially when they heated it through in their big ovens. I'd indulge again!

Great little "Hole in the Wall" pizza place. Excellent pizza.

Excellent pie...the crust is always right and the toppings are fresh. I always go with the meatlover but know love the #florentine They have locations in westchase, Wesley chapel Riverview and Hyde park! All the same ingredients and chefs. Their pasta dishes are surprisingly tasty also...check it out

Between meetings, I stopped by with some friends for lunch. Luckily, we snagged the big table up front. The place has a high ceiling. Despite it being a small square foot-wise place, you don't feel claustrophobic. I ordered the cold Italian Sub "12. It includes ham, salami, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, oil & vinegar. It was huge and very tasty. The bread was soft yet durable. Only the burgers and wraps come with fries so I ordered some for the table. I wasn't crazy about them because I don't care much for batter coated fries. There was a basket of onion rings at my table too and they were only OK. A friend ordered the Buffalo wings and really enjoyed them. Everyone at my table was content with their food and we were all impressed on how speedy and friendly the waitstaff was. I understand it has quite a late-night following, as well. I would definitely stop by again for lunch or for a late-night pig-out after leaving a bar.

I get very skeptical when I see pizzerias claiming to be NY Style but this one did not disappoint. We dined inside and the pizza was delicious. We ordered a medium pie with fresh garlic and extra cheese, it was spot on! For some reason, not many places we've been to offer fresh garlic as a topping but thankfully they had it on their menu so we didn't hesitate. The pizza was greasy as a NY pizza should be and it was baked to perfection. The service was perfect and our server was efficient and friendly. She kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The place looked clean and there are plenty of tables inside and out. They offer a full menu which includes pasta dishes, hamburgers and wings. They have a full bar and you can sit at the counter if you wish. Unfortunately for us, this place is too far to come every time we have a craving for real NY Pizza but we will definitely be back!

This is the quintessential late-night Ybor stop. After a night of drinking and bar hopping, chances are you'll be ready for a bite to eat. NY NY Pizza is the place for you. The pizza slices are as big as your head, cheesy, and delicious. The crust is thin and crispy. The staff has always been super friendly.. which is an accomplishment considering how many drunken idiots I'm sure they deal with daily! You'll always get a fresh slice since there is a steady flow of customers at all times. Make this your go-to Ybor spot for cheap, good food!

Diana A.
Great pizza but wtf. They charge you so much for doing a half and half pizza. It's almost the same price as ordering another pizza. The server said its the way the button is on the computer . Which any manager can fix that. (Previous server at a pizza place) . Sucks Bc something so simple to fix will cause the non drunk customers to find another pizza place.

My family and I came to Tampa on vacation and decided to get some New York NewYork food for a late dinner. We ordered three cold sandwiches, three appetizers and a salad. We were told it would be about 45 minutes for the delivery. This was reasonable, however it did take more like a little over an hour. We proceeded to unpack or food and quickly realized all three sandwiches were made wrong. All I asked for was mayo to be added to one, no cheese on another and add onions to the last longer. Fairly easy nothing being too demanding in my opinion. The appetizers were cold, but this is hard to not happen with delivery, so they get a pass there. When I called then to let them know the sandwiches were wrong the individual I spoke to was very polite and seemed to want to make it right. He said he would get another sandwich out to us in a rush, and that they weren't top busy. He also agreed to give me a side of onions to fix my sandwich. We decided to just leave my daughter to easy gets even though she doesn't like cheese. We just wanted the one fixed. So, a new sandwich took almost another hour to get to us. When my wife opened it, turned out to be the complete wrong sandwich and was an Italian instead of a turkey and cheese. Not sure how this happened when I called, he looked up my order, I said turkey and cheese a couple times with just lettuce (simple sandwich), he repeated it and reassured me that we would get our sandwich right. Spending $50 for what I ordered and get most of it wrong disappointed me. I will say my sandwich was good, nice soft bread, fresh meat and veggies. Just sad that the mistakes ruined or dinner.

They decided to close right at my face when a friend and I Were about to order. Either Yelp is lying about them closing at 4am, or they're lying about their business hours. Horrible! I'll never eat there if u could. The good reviews are probably from all the drunks anyway

Stopped in with a friend visiting from NY as we were passing through town , Saw this place, parked and went in , The waitresses all Rock ! So helpful and super friendly !! I had 2 slices with green peppers , Peppers were crunchy just how I like them , Pizza was thin and had a great taste , Pizza here tastes excellent , But I would order a slice then order my 2nd after I've eaten the first as this Pizza needs to be Out of the oven Hot , otherwise it just doesn't give the same delight , Just my thoughts , Not close to where I live but I would say give it a try

Drunk or sober.. This place is the best hands down! Their food is amazing and the pricing is decent. This is my go to place whenever I'm in Ybor. :)

This is the worst place ever for customer service. Menu said Sunday special 2 for $20. They said is was carry out only so we told the manager, they ok'd then the waitress has the nerve to come back and ask if we are ready to leave yet? Then we asked to split the bill. She charges my card in full and takes half cash. Incompetent.

As a tourist in Tampa, I made sure to try the authentic Cuban food, but little did I know that I would find such delicious New York pizza in Florida. Open for (super) late night, situated right in the heart of the lively Ybor City, convenient drive-through-style counter, satisfying slices of pizza bigger than your face, great variety that you can see through the window, prompt service... not only do you get amazing New York pizza, you also get a flavor of the New York experience roaming around at night and spontaneously landing on unbeknownst cravings satisfactions. I got the Florentine ($4), which was spinach, onions, tomatoes, oregano, Mozzarella, and feta cheese. The feta cheese was the highlight; overall it was an excellent vegetarian option with a tasty thin crust. Please note that I am extremely picky when it comes to pizza, and this may well be a 4 star rating when normalized for the general public. Not that I'm a snob, but here is my reasoning for 3 stars. Firstly, it tended to be more greasy than I'm used for pizza. I usually don't have a problem because pizza is very conveniently blot-able. However this place did not have any napkins! Granted, we got pizza to-go and ate outside, but there was not a napkin in sight by the counter. I'm unforgiving when it comes to napkins because it's so ridiculously cheap. Even disregarding neurotic people like me who insists on blotting pizza, normal people need napkins when eating pizza because the sauce and toppings tend to get messy. Also, I've had less costly and more delicious pizza in Berkeley/San Francisco. Although it was a different style, it used local ingredients in a unique combination (and they had napkins). Afterthought: Funny that the places with the most plain names (like "New York New York Pizza Bar and Grill") end up having the best food P:

From the window the pizza looks incredible and worth a stop. So I did. I'm from up north where New York Pizza is hard to beat so I"m a very tough critic. IT was a good pizza but nothing that would make me stop what I"m doing and drive 1 hour for the pizza. I ordered a Margarita Pizza and a large Pep/Mush. I really liked the garlic flavor of the Margarita pizza. I gave the pizza only 3 stars because the pizza in NY is a definite 5 stars and this had nothing to do with that pizza. The service was a little longer than average as they must of had a lot of togo orders because the place wasn't full. It took close to 30 minutes for us to get the pizza (6 very hungry people) On a good note my bill to feed 6 people was only $42!!!

What's that, it's 2am and you're drunk? Good news, even when you're sober this place is on point. Being from the New York area, this pizza reminds me of home.

When I saw that this place had some great ratings I was excited to check it out... a friend and I were in town for a last-minute trip to Tampa, staying at the Hilton in Ybor city, and wanted something fast and good. She got a slice of pizza and I got a cowboy burger with no bun. After explaining three times to her that I just wanted the hamburger without the bun, I also got to explain it to another waiter and the cook. I am not gluten free due to celiacs, but have chosen to cut bread out of my diet... knowing that this is a fairly common thing these days, I was surprised and amused to explain this a few times. That being said, this did not add to the 2 star rating; I honestly just didn't get the hype around this place. The burger was charred and the pizza was greasy and very thin. The atmosphere was a bit dingy, and some of the customers seemed pretty shady. Overall the atmosphere and food quality was disappointing... save yourself the time and check one of the many other late-night stops available in this area.

Late night pizza stop. Pretty good - authentic NY style. I can't say I was super sober when I had it, but the florentine pizza definitely did the trick!

BEST PIZZA in Tampa Bay hands down! The slices are thin, a big width, and even bigger flavor. The meat pizza is to die for.
(5)

They refuse to serve pizza when they're "closing." Obviously they aren't concerned with customer satisfaction 100% of the time. Otherwise, how the Pizza tastes generally depends on what you did that lead you there at 3 am.

I grew up in CT, where Pizza was born in the U S. The Pizza is one of the best found in FL. I ask for the crust cooked well. Out standing. I have not tried anything else.

I stopped for a beer and a slice of pizza before a show at the Improv. We sat at the bar where service was quick and the giant slice of Supreme was cooked perfectly. The crust was crispy right to the center. Looks like a dive, but clearly they are focused on the food.

Great pizzeria place and even better location!!!! It's a nice place to have a slice and a few beers. The slices are huge so make sure you come hungry!!!!
(4)

Ordered a slice of Florentine and a slice of cheese. HUGE slices. Lots of room in there and not without a place to sit on a Friday night. Prices weren't bad and if after a night of drinking you get hungry, this is probably a place is recommend.

Best pizza on 7th - take it from a local! Cheapest wings and all kinds of sauces. Hidden gem are the zeppoles for dessert!

Okay, I've been here many times... This is one of those joints where if I've pre-partied hard I'd give it a 5. If i'm completely sober I'd give it a 3. Being in the vicinity of lots of alcohol generally means the former though, so I will settle in between and give it a 4. Either order at the window, grab a quick slice to go and continue people watching in the crazy place that is Ybor, or sit inside and have a pie. The crust is nice and thin, the cheese is generous, and all in all a good pizza joint. Honestly, location is everything.

Great place. The people were very nice, helpful and responsive even though we had a large group. The pizza was very good!! The crust was thin and crispy (true to their NY name). The topping were very good and generous. I highly recommend this place!

I love that I found a fab pizza place for my family and I. Last night we order the Italy pizza OMG I died and went to pizza heaven....and the wings were just the way I cook mine...now that's hard. The serve was the manager and she nailed it! Her service was incredibe. I am not exaggerating. Go and find out for yourself. #1 pizza spot..Thank you for the to go menus. ..yes the deliver to my area "Seminole Heights". Yea

Great place to visit when in ybor...good food mostly friendly staff....I tend to go sometimes after club hours since their open so late and very quick too ...also great that they have inside and window service so it's perfect for whatever you need.

Decent pizza. To me you base a pizza place starting with the cheese pizza. The crust was very good. Baked when you order. All good stuff. The cheese was ok, nothing to get excited about. Sauce was decent, not extraordinary and scant. But I like a lot of sauce, so we'll let them off the hook on that. Service window guy was nice, polite, prompt and business like. Place is optimal for a fast slice while roaming Ybor. Not bad, wouldn't go out of my way, but if I'm there, sure.

Update since last review. Friend went there after I told him not to last night. The people charged him $6 for a slice of their "speciality" pizza. SIX DOLLARS! I'm loosing my mind because A. They're supposed to be $4, so that means they're gutting customers, & B. The slice was smaller than usual. Unbelievable. Again, added 1 star because I had too.

So after Ty and I went to see Best Man 2 we wanted some pizza. I don't know what it is about Ybor pizza, but it's so good. I ordered the Florentine which is spinach, tomatoes and ricotta cheese. Ty ordered two peperoni slices. He did not realize how big the pieces are. We brought home the extra piece to my son. Oh and they have beer and wine here so even better for a pizza and beer kinda night.

Good pizza with very casual atmosphere. Great place to meet friends for a laid back night of fun conversation. Add the street theater that is Ybor.

This place has some really great pizza. I came here with my girlfriend while staying in Ybor for the weekend and this place definitely ranks up there in my top 3 pizza places in Florida. We got a large pepperoni pizza and we had to seriously restrain ourselves from finishing it (seriously). Well, now for the bad. New York sucks, and this place decided to put it in their name not once, but twice. Seriously, all you people got is some big green statue of some chick we got from France. Not cool. But seriously, this place had great pizza. A large pie and 4 beers came out to $30 with tip included. Not the cheapest but could have been more considering we were in Ybor. Next time we are in town, we'll be back.
(5)
Mark L.
They should change their name. Their pizza is OK but I would certainly not scream that it's the best NY style pizza in the area, Oh and for crying out loud, lay off the salt. I've had their pizza 3 times and every time I feel like I had gotten my annual requirement. Most likely it tastes a lot better when you are puking drunk as it sits by all the night clubs.
(3)
Gerald M.
I love stopping off here every time I am in Ybor. The pizza is SO good and it does remind me of the pizza you can find in New York City. The staff is friendly and the prices are average.

The girl waiting on us was slow to take our order. Ordered a meatball sub but got a chicken parm sub. Didn't complain because I was short on time. She never checked on us again. Had to personally ask for the check, condiments and had to bring my card up myself to pay, as she was busy talking with the scrawny dude with glasses. She looked stoned as hell really. I usually enjoy ny ny as a window customer. I will probably return as one and not dine in again.
(2)

Fast delivery, and excellent food. Had the garlic bread w/cheese, hot wings, and the little Italy. Good amount of toppings, and the crust had a good chew. Will definitely order again.
(5)

Thin and cheesy, just the way I like it. Just walk up to the window, grab a slice, maybe grab a coke since cards need to be for purchases over $5 and enjoy your slice on the street.

I am not a fan of New York Style pizza in general, but they really won me over with the slice I had at 2:30am the other night. If you like pizza in general, you will LOVE this place. It's quite a spectacle late at night, and the line to the handy outdoor order-window can get long - but moves fast. People watching is prime here...especially with all the bleary-eyed Ybor-city club drunks interacting with each other on the sidewalk. I was not drunk when I ate here, so I could observe everything quite clearheadedly. Awesome stuff. I had a single slice of the pepperoni (around 4 dolla). The slices are HUGE. I had to wait 5-8 minutes before even TRYING to eat it since it was so "oven fresh". I folded it in half along the center beam (which I consider the proper way to eat NY Style pizza) and spent the next 15 minutes in a type of ecstatic, twitching bliss. Protip: You semi-dazed club kids might want to make sure to watch out for the explosive grease drippings getting on your fancy polyester dance outfit while eating, especially with the pepperoni, the droplets flowed swiftly as I ate. Very drippy! But that is not a bad thing in this case... I consider this the best NY Style pizza I have had in the bay area (out of around 10-12 other spots). I hate it when the pizza is TOO thin...this place seems to be about perfect.
(4)
Eric K.
This is an excellent place ! In town working, and I've already eaten here four times. The pizza, pasta, and garlic knots are all very very good and the staff is very friendly too. I will most defiantly be eating here again before we have to leave Ybor City
(5)
Sarah B.
Being a transplanted New Yorker, I am very picky about my pizza - but I thought the pizza here was really good! Closest to authentic NY style I have found in a long time. I had the white pizza with broccoli and it had the perfect ratio of cheese to broccoli to garlic. A friend and I dined inside and had no issues with the service at all.
(4)
Jason H.
NY NY is the best option for pizza in Ybor, hands down. Roma Pizza is nearby as well as another little place that I can't recall the name of. At NY NY, the slices are big and flavorful no matter which kind you get. Greasy yes, but most giant pizza slices are.
(4)
Gabriel S.
Owney's BottomLine: Hey I'm drunk and I need some food....oh hey, pizza. Pizza is ok. Servers were cool, one was cute (bonus) and the crowd was from some post-apocalyptic world, except not run over by zombies, but by strippers and other sluts. Needless to say I will be back for the beer and scenery, but I will eat elsewhere beforehand.

Bill and I were having one of our weeknight dates (which consists mostly of getting dinner somewhere in Ybor and shooting pool at the Reservoir Bar!) and we decided to stop into New York New York Pizza! I was very impressed with the food and the service here. We decided to order a small garden salad to split and he had a slice of pepperoni pizza and I had a slice of cheese pizza. Honestly, this was the freshest salad I have had in a long time! If I would have just got the salad I would have been content! Onto the pizza! I am a huge fan of thin crust pizza and they nailed it. And furthermore, the slices of pizza are HUGE. If I had to pick a flaw, I would say the pizza was a little on the greasy side but hey, thats why they keep napkins on the table, right? ;) The service was very prompt and our waitress was attentive. ALSO, they had garlic salt on the table which was a plus for them in my book! :) I will definitely be back to visit New York New York Pizza in the near future, even if it is at 2:30 AM!

As a NY'er, I'm afraid of any pizza place that brands itself after Brooklyn or New York. It's a high bar to live up to. However, I was looking for a quick bite near my hotel, and it was pouring rain. So I cut my search to about 2 blocks and settled on giving this a shot. However, I did not get the pizza, I jumped all over a calzone instead. Now I expected that the calzone would have already been pre-made, and they would have thrown in the topping I asked for, heat it up and serve it out. I'm already used to that at a couple of my regular NYC pizza establishments. Well, to my surprise, out came a freshly baked calzone bigger than my head. It was huge and baked to perfection. Pretty tasty too. Staff was friendly and attentive too as I sat at the bar. Seems like a fine establishment to pick up a couple slices after stumbling out of the local establishments too.

BEST PIZZA since I moved here from NYC. So I'm an expert!

Got it delivered. They were super nice and service was grand. The pizza was okay and the pizza was massive. Totally not complaining about it. I just didn't think the pizza was that great! But hey, I would try it out and make your own opinion. The prices are pretty fantastic, so it's worth it.

Decent pizza, it's pretty hard to mess up pizza though. Ordered one slice of pizza and the next day I checked my online banking and realized they charged me almost 20 bucks for a single slice of pizza. I asked for a refund and the lady told me she couldn't find my receipt in their system, how is that my problem? I gave you my last 4 digits and my name. Never got my money back and I won't be coming back either because 20 bucks is a whole lot of money for a single slice of mediocre ZA. Make sure what happened to me doesn't happen to you.

You cant beat NYNY for Pizza in Ybor! Cheapest and most delicious. I like the staff too, they are very amicable. :) Open late.

This place confuses the hell out of me. When you dine inside you get great service. When you stagger by the pizza window late at night you get one of the best slices in Ybor City. When you order from them for delivery.... they regularly screw it up. That totally kills me. After my initial review I decided to give them a chance "in person" and have thoroughly enjoyed their food, but whenever delivery is thrown into the mix the whole thing falls apart. I haven't received a single delivery order that came out perfectly. All of them suffered from one of the following: a) Excessively long delivery time b) Incorrect order and/or missing items c) Poor delivery service The last one really rubs me the wrong way. When the guy can't even walk into the lobby of your building to deliver the pizza and THEN doesn't even have a pen to sign the slip... c'mon man, those are school boy errors. I bumped up my initial review because the quality of their food is fantastic, but they'll never break 3 stars with their current issues. For me, delivery is an essential part of any pizza joint. If they can't hack it that destroys a lot of their value.

I really enjoyed New York, New York Pizza Bar & Grill. It is the best pizza I had so far on my pizza tour. A whole pie was affordable and tasted fantastic. I still have many pizza places to go, but this was a really enjoyable stop. The service was good, the pizza came quick (nice & hot), the cheese was oozing. It seems other people have not enjoyed it so much, but everyone I came with enjoyed their meals.

Excellent pizza! It's all about taste and crust and they do it best. Every ingredient top quality which equals wonderful flavor. And the staff are totally attentive and serious about your experience. As a matter of fact, our waiter, Devon, is totally into pizza and has a pizza tattoo on his arm to prove it. That's serious pizza!

Amazing pizza and people, best NY pizza you can find in all of Florida!

Good pizza if you are in the area... I personally do not like it when it is delivered, but if you are walking in ybor and want to eat a pizza slice, I think is the best option there...

It was a busy night on the 7th street. We are always on the lookout for unique, boutique restaurants. New York NY did not disappoint. The prices are very reasonable at $3 ro $4 per slice. I tried the pepperoni slice. It melts in your mouth, rich taste, best ever had, and set in a thin crust excellent as you get the best flavor not overpowering the rich pepperoni taste in every bite. The Sicilian was disappointing as 99% bread and 1% cheese. So not recommend. The Florentine offered a nice varied taste of ricotta cheese, spinach, tomatoes and more Excellent as well. Reasonable prices, excellent pizza served hot!!. Enjoy!!

My friend dumped out an entire jar of oregano here once. I think I said "Dave, what are you DOING??!" He said "I just wanted a pinch! Not a shake!" He then pinched a bit off the counter, sprinkled it on his pizza, and stumbled to the curb where we feasted upon our hot and greasy meal. Hopefully that sheds some light on the state I am in when I eat here. It's ALWAYS good. But it's ALWAYS after 1:00AM and I'm NEVER sober. And neither are most people around you, so you won't feel like the lone drunk. The outdoor seating options are my favorite. I prefer to dine on what I like to call "curb pizza". I sit on the curb and try to avoid being run over. If a table is available, I will take it and watch the half-naked boys at the gay bar next door strut their packages. On occasion you will be eating your pizza in the middle of a hipster fight after a loud night at Czar. Other times, a drunk lesbian will tell you several times that she loves you. Every now and again, a street preacher will give you the word. And the pizza? Its good and always hot.

Robby M.
To be honest the first few times I ever had this pizza I was really really drunk so I never knew how it tasted. My wife and I stopped in 1 night while we were sober. We had the white pizza and it was tasty we enjoyed it very much also have the garlic knots good amount of garlic on them. We now live in Ybor in order from here at least once every couple weeks and have it delivered pretty fast on delivery and really cheap so order away.
(3)
Kyme R.
Tasted like traditional ny style. Just grabbed a slice at the bar. Only a few options by the slice and 3/4 had pepperoni which I don't eat so cheese would have been my only option. Nothing too exciting.

Always a great stop for when you're done clubbing/dancing & need some food especially while waiting for the traffic to thin out. Even if you're just looking for a place for casual dining, this is the place. Come inside & sit down or just walk up to the window & order a slice & walk off or sit down outside. Love this place. It really is the best pizza in town & a great location if you're ever in Ybor!

I was checking out the HCC campus in Ybor and got hungry so I checked Yelp out for a place to eat and I was craving pizza my fiance and I came upon this place and we where not disappointed. When you walk in it has the NY pizzeria feel with the brick wall on the side the black and white floor and the red booths. Once we got seated out waitress came and took out order we got the Italian bread and a supreme pizza large pizza. We got our food quickly and it was very good. The pizza was a bit greasy but delicious. The bread was really good also. Overall this place is really good and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Ybor and wanting a bite to eat.

Best NY pizza around, perfect location in Ybor complete with walk-up window. Stays open with the clubs.

My family is from NYC and are pizza snobs. I live in Cleveland and will eat bad pizza and still enjoy it. I rather have a good Mid West style pizza instead of a poor imitation of NY style. After a few drinks and numbing my taste buds, this pizza tasted pretty close to something you can get in NYC. The sauce was decent and not too pasty, the crust was good and the cheese was alright. I would love to have something like this close by to me to absorb alcohol after a night of drinking. I saw the Ybor or Tampa Shoe Licker in here my last night. He remembered me because he licked my friend's shoe. I told him to stay away from my shoes. He replied "Oh it's like that tonight?" and I said "No it is like that EVERY NIGHT!".

Whether you want to sit to eat you meal or take it for a walk, New York New York is quick and delicious. It is mostly known for being open a little past 3AM bar closing mark for late night munchies. The late night window/window had more of a limited selection, but you can't go wrong with the Martguerita. If you are more in a rush, just grab a slice of cheese or peperoni, they are warm and ready to go. Slices are huge. Be sure to throw the guy a tip. Tossing pizzas at that volume ain't easy.

So delicious, drunk or sober. Get a draft beer and a slice for under $8. And it is absolutely delicious! If you're craving pizza, don't go anywhere else! The staff works hard and fast - remember to tip!!!!!

I've eaten many cheese slices here, usually on my way out of Ybor after a night of beer. For $2.50, you get a rather large cheese slice. Neither the cheese nor the sauce is the highest quality, and yet it tastes pretty good most of the time. I would not go out of my way to over-praise this fairly dirty joint, but neither would I criticize it too much. If you want the best cheese slice in Ybor, then step around the corner to the little place whose name I do not know. They charge 25 cents more, but it's well worth it. New York-New York sells quantity over quality, and sometimes that's just alright with me.

Good pizza but strong hint of garlic powder in their sauce

The best and biggest pizza after a night on the town! It is not too expensive and it is well worth the wait!! I got two huge slices of the florentine pizza for 8 dollars. Best pizza in ybor :)

Really good pizza, generous amount of toppings, thin, crispy crust, interesting combos, and the pizzas, even the small, is huge, a great value for the money. I had the Times Square with fresh tomatoes rather than sun-dried, and husband had the NY NY Supeme. Service was attentive, and nice beer list.

Cheap and greasy. Saw a waiter type person hand a slice to a girl entering the restroom. She asked if he could hold the slice or take it back for a moment and he said no!! WTF dude! Seriously?

My wife and I were in town for the weekend. We were looking for a cheap dinner since we spent a bunch of money already and found this place. We both ordered small pizzas. The menu say they are 10", but I guess they actually don't measure it since they were more like 14". So the value is through the roof. Now, you can't replicate NY pizza in a place other than NY, but this was pretty damn close. Next time I head that way, I will definitely be stopping in.

One of the only places besides Mema's to go in Ybor to get some good really quick food. Every time I eat here I have no problem dispatching two of their unreasonably large slices. This is either testament to how good it is or how disgusting I am.

I ate here once in high school and could not remember for years what the name of it was. Then, there I was, now over 21, at 1AM and stumbling to find the nearest Pizza place. As soon as I walked in up to New York New York, I had a flashback. I remembered the booth I sat at, and it suddenly hit me, that this was the place I went for one of the best pizza slices I've had. Whenever I'm in Ybor and hungry I plan to stop by for inexpensive and delicious pizza.

Took a flyer on this place via delivery. Great crust and sauce. Just the right amount of sauce and no burned crust.

Just ate here last night, took a bite into our cheese sticks and there was a open used staple in the food. Went straight in my girlfriends tooth. Painful. Called up and word for word from the guy there, "it happens, what do you want me to do about it, want some free food?" Uhm, what.

Yeah, OK, there is just nothing about this place that resembles New York in any way, shape or form. The decor was very strange and 1980-ish, with loud colours and a 50's diner feel to it. We arrived on a Sunday night around 7pm. Another couple came in after us about 10 minutes later. We were the only people in the place. We sat at the bar in full view of the staff, which was made up entirely of 2 young teenage girls. The one helping us was nice enough, but she took our order (simple cheese pizza) and then proceeded to run around like the world was coming to an end. And aside from a few phone calls, this place was dead. The couple that came in after us was served, paid and left before we saw any evidence of our order, which I am sure was never placed with the kitchen because we asked about it twice, and then after we threatened to leave it miraculously appeared. After 45 minutes. The other waitresses was very nice and apologetic about the whole thing, and did discount our tab, but I couldn't help but wonder what happens in there if it actually does get busy. Then I realized - oh it probably NEVER gets busy, with the disappointing service, awful, chewy pizza that had no resemblance to New York style in any way, or the fact that they were out of almost every beer they offered. Very dissatisfied with this place. A big NO to New York New York Pizza Bar and Grill.

My wife and I actually like their pizza. Or maybe it's watching the freak show across the street at the Honey Pot that keeps us going back who knows!!

Let's just be honest for a second here. Over 45 minutes for a water and two slices of cheese pizza that were already made and sitting in a window on a Saturday night at 7pm at a place named for New York In Tampa Bay and the restaurant was only 1/2 full. The pizza itself was mediocre and that's being generous, the menu standard quasi-italian fare, and the staff scattered and unattentive. I understand that late night fare is hard to come by in a place like Ybor and the walk up window at 3am after a night of dancing and bar hopping does appeal to me. But the obvious distraction that evening patrons present the staff does not.

Great Pizza Place in Ybor. Bring some friends and get the biggest supreme pizza they have.

Not bad, but overshadowed and outdone by the large amount of competition in Ybor.

This is definitely the best delivery in Tampa and a pretty close immigration of NYC pizza. I've been pleasantly surprised by the pizza selections in tampa and this is definitely one of my top 2. If you're getting delivery this is the place to call
(5)Chad L.
3 stars.
(3)Esther B.

(4)Kori Y.
Great little "Hole in the Wall" pizza place. Excellent pizza.
(4)Manny L.

(5)Jaimie T.
(3)Diana A.
(3)Gregory S.

I work close to place pizza never disappoints I can eat there it everyday If I could. And prices are fair as well.
(4)Erick G.
They decided to close right at my face when a friend and I Were about to order. Either Yelp is lying about them closing at 4am, or they're lying about their business hours. Horrible! I'll never eat there if u could. The good reviews are probably from all the drunks anyway
(1)Food G.
(4)Mandie P.
Drunk or sober.. This place is the best hands down! Their food is amazing and the pricing is decent. This is my go to place whenever I'm in Ybor. :)
(5)Michael S.
(1)Edna C.
(3)Suzanne W.
(3)Michael J. C.
What's that, it's 2am and you're drunk? Good news, even when you're sober this place is on point. Being from the New York area, this pizza reminds me of home.
(5)Johanna T.
Delivered mouth watering authentic NY pizza at 4am. What more can you ask for in life.
(5)Matt K.
(2)Ming O. N.
Floor was dirty. Staff indifferent. Pizza tasteless. Bad overall expedience. Doubt if I'll ever try again.
(1)Michael P.
A great place for a great new york style pizza pie whether early in the day or late at night. Its a frequent stop for me and my friends when we are in ybor city.
(4)Amy Z.
Late night pizza stop. Pretty good - authentic NY style. I can't say I was super sober when I had it, but the florentine pizza definitely did the trick!
(4)Jason B.
BEST PIZZA in Tampa Bay hands down! The slices are thin, a big width, and even bigger flavor. The meat pizza is to die for.
(5)Guy L.
They refuse to serve pizza when they're "closing." Obviously they aren't concerned with customer satisfaction 100% of the time. Otherwise, how the Pizza tastes generally depends on what you did that lead you there at 3 am.
(3)John J.
I grew up in CT, where Pizza was born in the U S. The Pizza is one of the best found in FL. I ask for the crust cooked well. Out standing. I have not tried anything else.
(5)Aaron T.
I stopped for a beer and a slice of pizza before a show at the Improv. We sat at the bar where service was quick and the giant slice of Supreme was cooked perfectly. The crust was crispy right to the center. Looks like a dive, but clearly they are focused on the food.
(5)Dillon K.
Great pizzeria place and even better location!!!! It's a nice place to have a slice and a few beers. The slices are huge so make sure you come hungry!!!!
(4)Maria E.
Ordered a slice of Florentine and a slice of cheese. HUGE slices. Lots of room in there and not without a place to sit on a Friday night. Prices weren't bad and if after a night of drinking you get hungry, this is probably a place is recommend.
(3)Kensey R.
First time here...definitely enjoyed the pizza - had the Grandma Pie. Very friendly staff, clean and great location for people watching.
(5)Michelle L.
Best pizza on 7th - take it from a local! Cheapest wings and all kinds of sauces. Hidden gem are the zeppoles for dessert!
(5)Brian C.
(4)Spencer J.
Great place. The people were very nice, helpful and responsive even though we had a large group. The pizza was very good!! The crust was thin and crispy (true to their NY name). The topping were very good and generous. I highly recommend this place!
(4)Johanna C.
Yea
(5)Mike S.
Great place to visit when in ybor...good food mostly friendly staff....I tend to go sometimes after club hours since their open so late and very quick too ...also great that they have inside and window service so it's perfect for whatever you need.
(4)Howard E.
(3)Daniel H.
(1)April S.
(5)Christopher P.
Good pizza with very casual atmosphere. Great place to meet friends for a laid back night of fun conversation. Add the street theater that is Ybor.
(4)Colin K.
(5)Mark L.
(3)Gerald M.
I love stopping off here every time I am in Ybor. The pizza is SO good and it does remind me of the pizza you can find in New York City. The staff is friendly and the prices are average.
(4)Stephen V.
(2)Michael S.
Fast delivery, and excellent food. Had the garlic bread w/cheese, hot wings, and the little Italy. Good amount of toppings, and the crust had a good chew. Will definitely order again.
(5)Colleen B.
Thin and cheesy, just the way I like it. Just walk up to the window, grab a slice, maybe grab a coke since cards need to be for purchases over $5 and enjoy your slice on the street.
(3)Thomas A.

This is an excellent place ! In town working, and I've already eaten here four times. The pizza, pasta, and garlic knots are all very very good and the staff is very friendly too. I will most defiantly be eating here again before we have to leave Ybor City

NY NY is the best option for pizza in Ybor, hands down. Roma Pizza is nearby as well as another little place that I can't recall the name of. At NY NY, the slices are big and flavorful no matter which kind you get. Greasy yes, but most giant pizza slices are.

Great pizza at a good price! This pizza never disappoints!

(5)Annie R.

(4)Gabriel N.

Decided to find some quick pizza while waiting for a flight to come in and this place didn't disappoint. I will be craving this place now!
(5)Carlos H.
(5)Allen I.
(5)Annemarie F.
Amazing pizza and people, best NY pizza you can find in all of Florida!
(5)Mariana R.
Good pizza if you are in the area... I personally do not like it when it is delivered, but if you are walking in ybor and want to eat a pizza slice, I think is the best option there...
(3)George M.

(5)Robby M.
(3)Kyme R.
Tasted like traditional ny style. Just grabbed a slice at the bar. Only a few options by the slice and 3/4 had pepperoni which I don't eat so cheese would have been my only option. Nothing too exciting.
(3)Corey G.
(4)Brandon K.
(4)Courtney G.
Best NY pizza around, perfect location in Ybor complete with walk-up window. Stays open with the clubs.
(5)P W.
(5)Larissa S.
(4)Julie F.
So delicious, drunk or sober. Get a draft beer and a slice for under $8. And it is absolutely delicious! If you're craving pizza, don't go anywhere else! The staff works hard and fast - remember to tip!!!!!
(5)Brad S.
(4)Ben V.
Good pizza but strong hint of garlic powder in their sauce
(3)Kayla W.
The best and biggest pizza after a night on the town! It is not too expensive and it is well worth the wait!! I got two huge slices of the florentine pizza for 8 dollars. Best pizza in ybor :)
(5)Denise E.
(5)Carrie M.
Cheap and greasy. Saw a waiter type person hand a slice to a girl entering the restroom. She asked if he could hold the slice or take it back for a moment and he said no!! WTF dude! Seriously?
(2)Joshua L.
(5)Robert S.
One of the only places besides Mema's to go in Ybor to get some good really quick food. Every time I eat here I have no problem dispatching two of their unreasonably large slices. This is either testament to how good it is or how disgusting I am.
(4)Charlie K.
(4)Mark S.
Took a flyer on this place via delivery. Great crust and sauce. Just the right amount of sauce and no burned crust.
(4)Matthew G.
Just ate here last night, took a bite into our cheese sticks and there was a open used staple in the food. Went straight in my girlfriends tooth. Painful. Called up and word for word from the guy there, "it happens, what do you want me to do about it, want some free food?" Uhm, what.
(1)Fatbardha M.
This is the best you Will ever find! Everything is fresh the crust is thin and crispy ... They treat you like your at a five star restaurant I love this place! Pick your favorite specialty pizza!
(5)Bonnie S.
was surprised and very pleased at a pizza place to have an amazing buffulo chicken sandwich. as well as, pizzza once again was also freakin great - perfection for pizza and submarine - buffalo ck sandwich- it comes on nice huge fresh long submarine type bread, fried ck seasoned to perfection (similiar to wendy's spice) awesome on the real deal -i asked for a couple slightly melted white american pieces of delicious cheese with all my desired sauces on side. you wont be disappointed when i tell ya...

(1)Karen K.
The pizza here was AWESOME!!!! The toppings were super fresh and bright and beautiful! Service was great!
(4)Black M.
My wife and I actually like their pizza. Or maybe it's watching the freak show across the street at the Honey Pot that keeps us going back who knows!!
(3)Ashe H.
(2)Kyle F.
Great Pizza Place in Ybor. Bring some friends and get the biggest supreme pizza they have.
(4)Miguel S.
It is da bombb. I've yet to find comparison in town to this place. Its where all flock too wasted or not... and its cheap!
(5)Jason B.
This place is AWESOME, took the family here it was awsome my kids loved it. Their Margherita Pizza is to die for. If you love NY sytle pizza get to this joint it is the bomb.
(5)Luke H.
Not bad, but overshadowed and outdone by the large amount of competition in Ybor.
