Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

For take out Chinese food this place is pretty darn good. Everything is fresh and prepared to order and the food is very tasty. We get takeout here at least a few times a month as Kang's Garden is our go-to for take out chinese. My favorite is the Orange Chicken with the wonton soup. Definitely worth checking out.

Aside from a couple who regularly fight in a foreign language here, this place is just like all it's other clones. In fact the food here is so similar to China Wok around the corner, that I can't even tell their egg drop soup apart, it's the same place as far as I'm concerned. Good in a pinch, and absolutely mediocre.

Everytime I hear about other chinese places i want to throw them a menu from Kangs. The prices are perfectly rounded to the economic clash of budgeting. For the dinner combos you get Soup, Eggroll and an entire meal for under $9.00. Thats really awesome. Not to mention the food is good everytime me and my gf get something. I always order the Bourbon Chicken w/Wonton Soup and Extra Egg Roll, and it is perfect everytime. The sauce is exactly what bourbon chicken should taste like. Finding that one chinese place is difficult because their are so many. I found mine, I would highly recommend giving them a shot. Now to find a Thai place...

Very average Chinese food. I ordered the beef and broccoli, which is my standard selection at almost any Chinese restaurant I visit. Unfortunately this dish was extremely bland and soupy, and I can honestly say this is the most tasteless version I have ever had. My wife, however, said she enjoyed her sweet and sour chicken. The good news is that if you order here, you will likely receive a freebie or two (two free drinks in our case), but if you are looking for truly great Chinese food, this is probably not the place!

This is a great Chinese takeout restaurant. Just moved from Land O'Lakes to WC and really glad to have found a Chinese restaurant we like. Great food, always consistent. Reasonably priced. Very fresh, and always hot. Standard menu, nothing spectacular but done well and as ordered every time.

Dinner Feb 23 This is our go to place for Chinese Take-out. Why? Quality has never wavered since it opened. Food cooked thoroughly and always the way we ordered it (ie, no green peppers). When we order a lot, they always give us something free. And honestly, we have never had a single complaint or problem with this restaurant. My favorites are Bourbon Chicken, Hunan Beef, Moo Goo Gai Pan in Brown Sauce and their chicken wings (10 for like $4.55) and crab Rangoon are really good as well. We did try the other Westchase take-out place and found Kangs far superior!

You know, Chinese take-out restaurants should unite, just think of buying power, the advertising, the quality improvements.... There are probably more take-outs than McDonalds in this country and typically all taste the same. Low budget offering, with little to no flavor, in a sticky seat and table, store front location. This one isn't any better than the next really. I've had much better. But if you like this and think its healthy, by all means take my place at the counter. I will move up the strip center a few doors and get something that at least tastes like beef.

Kang's Garden and China Wok are the two Chinese restaurants serving the Westchase area. Both of them are virtually next to each other, and aside from some slight variations in the menu, you walk into one and might as well be walking into the other. I am guessing that Chinese restaurant architects and interior decorators all belong to the same club and exchange ideas. In any case, the spicy Sechuan dumplings from Kang's Garden are my favorite. Think dumpling with a kick. I'm also a big fan of their deep fryer. The egg rolls and chicken wings come out nice and crispy. They have a couple of tables for you to eat there, but really, do you want to? This is mostly for take out, I have ordered food for one and for twenty, and every time I call, they tell me it will be ready in 15 minutes. It's turned into such a joke that I ask my wife "do you want to eat 15 minutes?" and she automatically knows what I'm talking about. I've ordered all the usual suspects, like Kung Pao Chicken, Sechuan Beef, and oh, the dumplings. I am a dumplings nut. If you are in the Wescthase area and are craving Chinese, give Kang's a call. You can try China Wok also as they are just as good. But if you try the Sechuan dumplings at Kang's and like them, you'll miss them at China Wok. I'm a fan!
