Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

WOW! My wife and I stopped by last last night after attending a local car show and we ordered a meatball sub and a chicken parm sub. Friendly staff going above and beyond to make sure that we had the best experience possible and that all of our needs and wants were attended to. The food was really hot straight from the oven an had plenty of sauce and cheese on our hoagies. The llok and atmosphere of the establishment needs updating but the food and staff were top notch. Highly recommended for good authentic italian food. WE will try the pizza next! Thank you.

Went to Joe's after drinking some beer at nearby Cigar City Brewery. I ordered two slices and a drink for $7 including tax. Great pizza, friendly service, and fun enjoyed by all

I have driven past Joe's Pizza hundreds of times and never given it a second thought. It is very unassuming, despite being in a very popular area on Dale Mabry. A friend and I decided to stop in to grab a slice to-go instead of simply running through a fast food joint. He said it was good pizza and I would agree. The interior is nothing special, but the staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. We both opted for the 2 slice + large drink special for $7. I went with one pepperoni and one cheese. Both were pretty good, but I think the cheese had a little more flavor. The crusts are thin and the slices are decent-sized. They premake the pizzas and then put in an oven to reheat them. I noticed that they also sold sandwiches and other styles of pizza, but I was in a rush so that was the fastest thing for me to order. For a quick meal, I think it was reasonably priced and tasted okay. I wouldn't rank it as the best pizza in the area or anything, but it worked in a pinch.

Been here lotsa times and always had the round Neopolitan type pie. It is a first rate NY pie. The square Sicilian pie however is a horrible doughy nothing. Way too high , barely any sauce and the thinnest layer of cheese. This was not good. Stick to the Neo slices and forget the Sicilian, and yes, I'm a NY native and also a pizza snob. The four stars are not for the Sicilian. The best Sicilian I've ever had was a small little place in Commack, NY (on Long Island) called Pizza D'Amour and Caserta's on Federal Hill in Providence Rhode Island. Locally Jet's Deep Dish come closest.

This place is expertly placed next to Mons Venus. There's no alcohol served at Mons Venus just boobies, but Joe's Pizza does serve beer, a most important libation. And they serve a pretty mean slice of pizza. The cashier/server was pretty funny and insanely patient with us at 1a on a Friday night. The actual facilities are okay, kind of gross.

I was just here this past Saturday and I had to come back today , yea it was that good ! It's official they have the best Sicilian in the Tampa Bay Area. In fact they rival some of the best back home so that gives them a lot of merit in my book. Excellent crust probably the best dough I've encountered here, even better than Eddie n SAMs who are very good as well and use NY water. These guys know what pizza is about. My fellow yelpers , trust me it's good. This pizza stands up tall on its own purist merit. If you haven't been here and you are a pizza fanatic like myself , drop what your doin and get your ass down here.

Me and my girls stopped at Joe's Pizza around midnight on a Sat night and were not disappointed. The Pizza is tasty with a great sauce and the service is great. Eddie hooked up our pizza with expertise and a smile. I seriously recommend trying this spot out.

I'm being nice putting a 3star review for them, the owner (if it was a guy in a Tampa Bay Rays hat) who was very demanding and rude on the counter made my visit uncomfortable at first. I don't know if he was having a bad day or he was angry but he was demanding my order out of me insistently when it was my first visit to this place. I came there on a mid afternoon, most of the pizza there looked like it was sitting for a while. Tasted like it too.. Like my pizza was reheated in the oven, but I swore it either tasted like old pizza or pizza from yesterday.. I don't know. While my service was rude, my pizza tasted a day old and the place looks a little dirty despite it being renovated, I could tell the deep dish pizza was good. The guy before me ordered it and was raving about it, made me kinda jealous I didn't order the deep dish - I guess it must of been made fresh. There's a few TVs for sports viewing, I think they serve beer and the pizza was pretty cheap.. 2-2.25$ per slice with taxes. I want to give it a 2 rating but this place has potential compared to most of the other non-chain pizza places..... Although I'd say Sbarro might be a step up. Either way this place could use work, but has potential to be a great pizza place since they're open late and I think they're opening a drive through -- Drive through pizza!
