First time to this place and like the decor and design with the vaulted ceilings and some pictures of the jersey shore. As there are a lot of selection of sub places around this vicinity, I wanted to try out this place and am not disappointed so far! I decided to give a shot at the regular "club supreme" with "mikes way" and I love this sub at I would even going as far to compare this to the publix-subs but in a close second! I would recommend this place as the sub makers do care about the quality and even ask you if the sub was to your satisfaction. They care about their work and care.

Jersey Mike's is quickly becoming my go-to national chain to enjoy sub sandwiches. We seem to have a lot of different places serving deli sub sandwiches around town, and each has their own marketing gimmick. In the case of Jersey Mike's it's all about the quality of their products. Their certified Angus Beef top rounds are trimmed and cooked right in the store. The meats and cheeses are all top-quality premium brands. The bread is fresh-baked each day on the premises. And of course, everything's prepared right in front of you as you shuffle through the line. This particular Jersey Mike's is located along Gunn Highway, not far from the Citrus Park Mall, and directly across the street from D1 Sports Training. The Upper Tampa Bay Trail crosses over Gunn Highway within feet of the store. As with all Jersey Mike's you have about ten different cold sandwich options, about 6 different hot sandwich options, and a handful of wraps and salads. Of course the choices don't stop there as you can customize these basic sandwiches to your heart's content. I generally order #13 - The Original Italian, which is made with Provolone cheese, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni. You can order your sandwich as a Mini which is 5" long, a Regular which is 7" and a Giant which is 14-15". Next in line are the toppings. Many people order the sandwich dressed Mike's Way with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, oil, vinegar and spices. But don't let that stop you if you want to add pickles, pepperoncinis, jalapenos, and mustard as well. Jersey Mike's offers a variety of chips and drinks to turn your sandwich into a combo meal. Fair prices with quality food, served by friendly people.

Jersey Mike's, you guys are just plain awesome! The level of customer service I saw here today was nothing short of impeccable. These people are down to earth and genuinely friendly, and they make one helluva sandwich in my opinion. I ordered my fave, the Chipotle Cheesesteak, and had a seat. When my sub came out it was piping hot and dripping with a combination of chipotle mayo and melted cheese. I ate it shamelessly, taking no time to wipe off my hands or mouth until I finished the very last bite. The combination of friendly faces and mouthfuls of meaty goodness was a total knockout!

For starters, upon walking into this Jersey Mike's location, I noticed a lot of bread thrown on the table where your meal is prepared, along with the "fixings" all over the counter. This place was disgustingly dirty. I realized the filth as I watched 1 worker slice several different types of meats and cheeses without wiping off the meat slicer between customers. I noticed a large "pile-up" of meats hiding in the corner from excess falling off between cuts. I can only imagine the bacteria that develops on this meat slicer, and can only hope that it's cleaned at least daily. This was just the beginning. The meat slicing worker then went to the cash register, mind you still wearing his gloves, and went to take someone's money for their order. He thankfully threw away that pair of gloves and then went back to slicing. I believe that my disgust came while watching the other worker put the "fixings" on a sandwich for other customers in front of me. I watched as he lathered the sub with each topping and not cleaning any utensils as they were mixed together. Just threw it back in the bucket and added something else. After piling it high and adding liberal amounts of oil and vinegar, he seemed ready to make my sandwich. Same dirty gloves as the 3 previous sandwiches before mine. His gloves were covered in mayo, oil and vinegar, and all sorts of things. Literally dripping from his fingers. I had to ask him to please get a new set of gloves before starting on my sandwich. Needless to say, I did not have lunch today. I couldn't stomach it with the unknown of what was growing on the countertop where my sandwich laid for so long. If they're this carefree with simple things such as changing gloves, I can only imagine what the actual workspace is like. This was my first, and last, visit to a Jersey Mike's.

For me this place is just ehh. Another chain restaurant. This place is easy to get into parking is a minimal, but when leaving it is super hard just because of the traffic flow on Gunn Highway. I got the #43 the chipotle steak sub. Nothing to really ride home about. What I wasn't to please about is when I went to sign the receipt for my order there was a baby roach walking across the counter right where they lay the food. So with that said I won't be back.

My first visit to this Jersey Mike's, and truth be told, it was just okay. 1) The location is a pain to get in to. You end up having to do either a u-turn at the traffic light for the Veterans, or an even smaller u-turn off of Gunn Hwy and then driving through the Blinds To Go parking lot. 2) Every table in the place was dirty. Even when no customer was in line to buy a sandwich, not one of the workers came out to wipe off a table. People came and went, and no table was ever wiped off. 3) This is a little thing, but struck me as odd - because the Italian I got wasn't on the "hot sub" list, I couldn't get it warmed up. Really? There was only 1 person in line behind me so it wasn't like I was going to hold up the masses. And since they offer hot subs, they obviously have the capabilities. Very weird. Sub meat was good, sub roll was fresh. I love the cherry pepper relish they have to put on the subs. Definitely better than other local sub shops, but of course, you are certainly paying for it - over $10 for regular sub, baked chips, and a drink. Will I be back? Probably just to switch up my food options. Anytime soon? Not likely.

I wasn't completely thrilled about this Jersey Mike's, the meat slicer hadn't been cleaned and the meat was left out while they were cutting it, not very sanitary. I do like the sandwiches, but this worries quite a bit. If I were to go back to this place, I would make sure that it was way cleaner than it was this time.

Mmm so good. The fresh bread is great and they always put a lot of meat on their sandwiches which is awesome compared to some places (looking at you, Subway). I never eat at subway anymore. I will always go to Jersey Mike's. Never disappointed!
