Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This is a great place for a slice of pizza after a night out in Ybor. The pizza was absolutely delicious. I should have known by the line outside. The service was prompt. We ordered and our food was ready by the time we paid. Since the pizza was so good, I would probably go back to grab a slice or a pizza even if I wasn't out for the night.

Normally I'm not a fan of reheated pizza, but this place is pretty good. Huge slices that require two plates is a plus. I had a slice of cheesesteak pizza which was really tasty. The garlic knot was really good too. I wouldn't mind coming back in the future. Maybe once I've sampled the other pizzerias in the area.

Who doesn't like getting pizza after a late night of drinking and fun? Gino's is your typical downtown pizza place, where you can find people in all states of inebriation. Gino's is open before the partying begins and remains open late after most restaurants have closed down for the night. I've been here sober and yes, a wee bit intoxicated. However, I knew what to expect each time I went. A simple place to get pizza... and people watch. The garlic knots are great and the pizza slices are large. Gino's is a-okay for me!

Would give a zero if I could. Looks and smells terrible inside. I could see if someone was extremely intoxicated they wouldn't mind the taste of the food. Pizza looked like it had been sitting in the window all day. Employees looked bored and didn't care about costumers. I will never return.

Stumbled upon this place in ybor before a concert as a last resort. HORRIBLE decision. I should have not eaten at all. Horrible pizza. Probably the worst pizza I've ever had. And the service was horrible. Don't even bother coming here.

Worst pizza and service I've had in Ybor.

I have no idea why the ratings for Gino's isn't higher. I had a piece of spinach and ricotta cheese that was EXTRA GOOD! The service was fast, the place was clean, the staff were really nice, kinda quiet. It's a GREAT place to get a slice LATE At night after sipping in Ybor. Dang that pizza was good, I'm salivating right now just thinking about it. I liked this place!

I stopped in and grabbed a slice of their lasagna pizza. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The prices are a bit high, but they serve good quality NY style pizza right on 7th ave. It wasn't busy when I went in, and the staff was friendly and quick to respond.

I think this place needs a little more credit. It's no Grimaldi's or Monty's. What you see is what you get. Their pizzas sit out and will be reheated upon request. The employees are tough, muscular dudes who don't mess around. But it does the job. It's in Ybor- open late at night. You want a bite to eat, post-clubbing, post-concert, post-tattoo- they're there. And the different pizza pies keep you guessing. The slices are huge too, and the taste is great. Yes, they have a lot of their supplies sitting out, not hidden away so aesthetically maybe it isn't great but I actually like seeing all their cooking supplies up front, makes the place look more authentic. I know we will be back- we are quite fond of the place!

Meh....finding ourselves hungry last night, and not being able to find a sit down restaurant that was still serving, we stumbled upon Gino's. I personally wanted NY NY down the road, but the crew vetoed me since they were starving. Upon entering, it's your typical pizza by the slice place-about 5 various pizzas on display ready to be thrown back in the oven to heat up. I ordered the basic pepperoni, my husband ordered the sausage and peppers, and his aunt and uncle ordered the Sicilian and a veggie. All slices come with a complimentary garlic knot. We all agreed it was ok pizza. I mean, it's pizza....when it's bad it's still good. Next time though, I will insist on walking the 5 minutes down the street for a slice of really good pizza.

This may be sitting on the main drag of Ybor (main place to get drunk in Tampa), and a lot of places claim to be NY pizza - but you know, this is good, NY style pizza. They actually pulled it off. Hats off.

Giant slices, with "free" garlic roll. One refill per soft fountain drink. Both points are completely reasonable. It was $9.00 for 2 pep slices & one fountain drink. But, let's look at how really outstanding this "Real" (their quotes, not mine) NY pizza is. Mediocre to ok, this pizza gets the job done if you're hungry, but I wouldn't actively seek eating here based on my need for pizza frequently. The actual restaurant is cute, clean. Gino's offers a deal on refillable drink keepsake cups for beer & soda ($3 beer refills, $1 soda) for lifetime. Pretty cool concept.

Great NY style pizza . Friendly service and free refills on pop and beer . Stop by and say Hi to Leo

Pepperoni pizza - nasty. Mozzarella sticks- yuck. Garlic rolls - barf (no wonder they're free). Cheap, poorly made pizza with low-quality ingredients. If sex was like this pizza, I'd be abstinent.

I am giving Gino's 4 stars based on my past experiences in their Orlando locations. It kills me that I cannot give them 5 stars and sit here wanting to give them a 3. So Four it is. The pizza did not live up to the expectations I had from many nights out in Orlando. It was incredibly greasy and the service was awful (we were the only table, 10+ staff, no reason for this). I am hoping with time, I can retract this statement and give them an official 4 or 5 stars.

This place is totally Awesome...the best pizza around the pizza is totally authentic the garlic rolls are to die for ...best part about them is they are free with the slices and pizza...Don't know what Rick G was smoking when he wrote that review...take it from me...a true New Yorker this place is the real dealA must have for anyone from up north.
(4)Joana C.
Free garlic rolls! I thought the pizza could be a little cheaper since it was only alright in taste. The staff was nice and that I'd why I go back!
