Let me start with the positive. The restaurant was almost empty so we got really good parking. Now with the not so good. The restaurant was almost empty, 3 other guest, yet it took us almost 5 minutes to get seated. The waitress was prompt to come take our drink order. Things were starting to feel good but where are the drinks. It was only waters and coffee's. Ok so she returned from the blackhole with the cold waters and luke warm coffee, so strong, we couldn't drink it! We ordered breakfast because it is realitively easy to make. I was wrong about this....the eggs were well done from an overease order. The sausage gravy was brown, nasty looking, and served as their wallpaper glue too. Never seen anything like it. My friend ordered eggs, cornbread mush and home fries. Well, her eggs at least had some juice in them. The home fries were, well, non-existent. There were exactly 10 cubes of potatoes, yes we counted them. Really....you got to be kidding me. The corn bread mush was greasy, greasy and greasy. Just a terrible experience! I would have given them a 1 star but they at least took the nasty sausage gravy off the bill. Oh yea, the toast was cooked to perfection....not bad for $25.00. Use caution when entering.

Bob evan's food in my opinion is equivalent to an IHOP restaurant. They do have alot of cheap deals going on, such as an endless soup, salad, and sandwich meal for 6.99, and a 3 course dinner for ten bucks(app, entree, and dessert) thats alot of food for a measly ten spot. I usually wont eat dinner here though, I typically come for breakfast. The farmers choice breakfast is around 7 or 8 bucks, and it comes with a ridiculous amount of food :eggs, bacon or sausage, homefries or hashbrowns, choice of 3 pancakes or a fruit crepe, and toast or biscuits. Yeesh! I always leave with a major food baby after a bob evsns trip, but its worth it. Their service has always been great, seems like its always a sweet southern woman serving, both young and old. One last thing...if you order homefries or hashbrowns, request it to be cooked in butter! Otherwise they cook it in vegetable oil, which can leave a wierd aftertaste.

Run of the mill breakfast joint. I like Bob Evans for their food quality in comparison to IHOP, Village Inn, etc. Better places exist but if given the choice between everyday breakfast places, I'd choose Bob Evans.

I love Bob Evan's for good southern food without the racism of Cracker Barrel. But I digress. Really good, it's never really busy so you get your food fast. The ONLY reason I'm giving it four stars is because I asked for no cheese on my burger because I have an allergy. They put cheese on the burger, then scrapped it off. Took a while to get a new burger with no cheese. Other than that, our waitress was wonderful and helpful.

I've been here a couple of times over the past few weeks. This review is based solely on breakfast. First time around, I had the "Farm Favorite" omelette with spinach, mushrooms, onions, Swiss cheese, scallions and tomatoes. Got their egg whites substitute for a few cents more. Second time, I ordered the "Farmer's choice" with over easy eggs, turkey sausage and pancakes with strawberry syrup. Everything was fresh and I left FULLy satisfied each time. Other yelpers are comparing this place to IHOP, Denny's, etc.. Fair enough comparison, but I think Bob Evan's is one step above in terms of quality, cleanliness and service. By the way, they have a nice selection of baked goods available toward the cash out counter/entrance area. Bring your family and friends!

3 stars because the food is good, just not great. All in all the food here is usually tasty. The service is hit or miss and they never give you enough ice. This is Florida. It's hot here, give us the ice our drink deaerves especially when you order sweet tea! They served us burnt sausage patties. When we asked for new sausage our waitress said "It's fresh sausage, we have to burn it to cook it all the way through." What??!! Because of this I am changing my review to 2 stars.

For starters, took about 5 minutes before we were greeted. Followed by walking past 2 booths that were full of dirty dishes. The restaurant was not busy at all, we requested a booth and it took another 5 minutes before we were seated. We sat for 5 minutes before the hostess realized that our waiter had not brought us drinks and took our drink order. 5 more minutes passed before our drinks were brought by the hostess (coffee and water). If you've been keeping track that's 20 minutes from the time we stepped inside till we received our drinks. Waiter finally came by to take our breakfast order and 15 minutes before the food was served by a manager. The only thing that our waiter did was take our order and bring me extra syrup for my pancakes. It had been about 3 years since I've been in a Bob Evens, and this will be my last. This location needs new staff and management! There was no excuse to have over 6 tables that had dirty dishes on it. If you're in the mood for breakfast, drive the extra 2 miles and hit up a Ihop, for you southern style dinners, take the extra trip and go to a Cracker Barrel.

After a mid-morning trip for some blood work and medical lab testing, I was practically gnawing on the steering wheel since they wanted me fasting but had no appointment slots before 10am. As soon as I was done at the medical lab I punched up my trusty Yelp application to find somewhere nearby that was still serving breakfast (and preferably a place I had not yet reviewed, and would be south of the Georgia state line). That's what brought me to Bob Evans Farm-Fresh Goodness Family Restaurant up on N. Dale Mabry in northern Carrollwood. The restaurant is located in a standalone red building north of Gaither High School. Bob Evans began making sausage on his southeastern Ohio farm to serve at a 12-stool diner he owned in nearby Gallipolis in 1948. The short-order, farm-to-table diner concept was popular with local residents and truckers, and Mr. Evans was able to convert that small business venture into a restaurant and food products empire with more than 600 full-service Bob Evans Restaurants in 19 states, primarily in the Midwest, mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the United States. The menu will remind you of your favorite IHOP, Waffle House, or Village Inn with a mixture of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and carryout options. Sausage is the featured breakfast meat, but you can also order bacon or turkey sausage links. The sausage is also crumbled up and added to their sausage gravy which is served with homemade biscuits. I ordered the 3-egg Farm Favorite omelet which was stuffed with fresh baby spinach, roasted portabella mushrooms, diced onions and Swiss cheese which were garnished with fresh diced tomatoes and scallions. That came with hash browns, and I ordered a side of buttermilk biscuits and gravy. My doctor would have been bitching at me, but I was seriously hungry!!! The food was good, and certainly comparable to various other breakfast joints, but nothing that really stood out. No issues with my meal or the service, but also nothing that says I absolutely MUST return. If I'm up that direction I would consider Bob Evans as an option for breakfast or lunch.
