Embassy Suites Westshore Tampa features a Happy Hour until 7:30 PM in a second floor airy atrium like room with a large patio with wicker furniture to make the most of the weather where they serve snacks and drinks. See my pic. They partitioned off Lounge 555 with glass and a door to seclude adults into the bar room so it's a little confusing exactly which part makes up the restaurant until 7:30 PM when the freebies (and the crowd) go away. You'll need to flag down a waiter if you're dining outside the bar. Cafe and Lounge share a menu consisting of sandwiches and entrees that seem to be a mirror of one another except one is a smaller version between slices of bread served with fries. If you're in the market to pay more you can even go for a steak. A lot of items on the menu look appealing if expensive. Sandwiches go for $14 or more and entrees shoot up another ten dollars. Neither of the two of us had a huge appetite so we ordered the Grouper Nuggets and shared the Bruschetta Chicken sandwich that they kindly cut in half and served with tasty seasoned fries on two plates. I gave S my red onion, lettuce and pickle (:0)). The sandwich is awesome! Just the right amount of balsamic glaze, tender chicken breast with a perfect crust and a soft ciabatta roll. Not a very large sandwich, mind you, but not too badly priced for a hotel restaurant at $14 ($16?). The nuggets, on the other hand, have a thick breaded crust on them with a tiny albeit flavorful chunk of fish in each center. However, 4 pieces for $10? I'd avoid it because of the price regardless of the taste. If you want grouper get the entree or the sandwich because grilled, blackened and breaded are each an option in either format. Drinks are as overpriced as you'd expect. $9 will buy you a glass of the cheapest red wine they offer. I'd go again to order an entree but avoid the appetizers.
