Small family spot with great consistency. I only get the same thing and it's all ways exactly how I expect it - great.

The food is good, especially their curry! Pad Thai was a bit dry, but ok. I wasn't crazy about it considering it's their special. Overall we really liked the food and will be going back to try more

Thai Curry gets 5 stars from me for being the most delicious Thai food I have ever eaten. Its not a very big place or very busy, which is a shame, but it serves up some real awesome food. I love getting the pad thai. Its peanut sauce is sweet without being too sweet or too peanutty lol. Also the chicken and garlic is amazing, just add some spring rolls to the order and you are set. If I could go here everyday and eat I would, it is just the best Thai around and a must go to.

During our visit to Miami and Keys, we were looking for a thai place to eat and most the the places use fish sauce in their food and we are vegetarians. We finally called this place and the lady said she could do special order by making the sauces fresh without the fish sauce provided we can wait for 10-15 extra depending on the crowd. We decided to try. We mentioned to her about us the phone conversation we had and she obliged to make fresh curry without fish sauce. Luckily for us, by the time we arrived and ordered our dinner, the crowd was gone. The fresh curry did not take that long either. We ordered pad thai noodles and green curry brown rice. Both tasted delicious. The quantity was good too. We had to pack some of the noodle and the curry.

I have been having a craving lately for Thai food but I was not sure what was available near Coral Springs, went on Yelp and based on the reviews decided to give Thai Curry a shot and boy am I glad we did. The restaurant is a small hole in the wall which we found to be tastefully decorated and provided an intimate setting for dinner. I read the previous reviews and as mentioned the Pad Thai is to die for. I had the Chicken Pad Thai and my wife had the Seafood Pad Thai, both dishes were excellent not only in flavor but in presentation and portion size. We also tried the appetizer sampler and we thoroughly enjoyed it (the Curry Puffs and the Pou Ja), do yourself a favor and definitely try the sampler. The service was fine but I can see it being a challenge for the husband/wife team especially if the place is jumping. When we were there it was pretty slow so the service was excellent. At the end of the day it is all about the food so I would highly recommend this place based on our experience.

I was looking for decent Thai food near my work and found this on Yelp. Ordered Pad Thai (lunch size) for take out and was pleased with the portion. It was just OK for me. The peanut sauce was not as tasty and noodles were on the dry side compared to other Thai food restaurants I've tried. The other thing I noticed were the chunks of egg shells mixed in the noodles. I bit on several shells so I started digging and found more of them in the bottom. Maybe the cook was in the hurry? I'm willing to try this place again but might opt for other dishes as suggested in reviews of others. Check back for my update :)

Had lunch here with Thom Kha Kai soup, Chicken Satay and Chicken Panang Curry. Soup was just ok, Chicken Satay was excellent, and the Panang Curry was 7 out of 10 on the goodness scale. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. Prices are very fair. I think I'll come back to try the crispy duck. Over all about 3.5 stars but I have to choose 3 or 4 so I'll lean to 4 for excellent service and good value.

I got the chicken pad thai and ordered extra chicken and it came with a ginger salad. The ginger salad quite literally had 5 or 6 pieces of iceberg lettuce in it and the pad thai was on the small side for a restaurant like this. The restaurant also didn't smell real great today. I've been there once before and it smelled better.

A pleasant surprise and nearby, too. We love Thai food and have had a hard time finding good Thai food since we moved to Florida. However, I think we have succeeded here. The owner is very friendly, helpful with suggestions and has a pleasant sense of humor. (He is also attentive to those who have ordered a dish that is perhaps a little spicier than they thought... even with the owner's warnings. His suggestion... don't drink water but rather put a little sugar on the tongue. You will have to let me know if it works.) Looking for something I had many years ago at my favorite Thai restaurant in Colorado Springs, I ordered the Pad See-Ew, a dish of wide noodles with a brown sauce. I opted for the pork and when I get it again, I will try the chicken. It was very close to what I remembered and in retrospect I used to get it with the chicken. Hence, my switching next time. There is something abut noodles and gravy that is akin to comfort food. And this definitely served that purpose. The savory taste was well seasoned. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the pork was very flavorful. Interestingly, it was the flavor and the very plentiful amount of pork that are prompting me to go with the chicken. There was (can I say this) almost too much pork. The servings were quite plentiful. So much so, that my wife and daughter took half of theirs home. I could have (and should have), also. I look forward to returning and trying other items from their menu.

Delicious food..friendly service!! This small family owned Thai restaurant now tops my list of good Thai places around here...Thai Thai is good but this one is better...the big portions..reasonable prices and for the first time after I moved to South Florida....i got rice with my entree without me having to ask a waiter for some.... We got the mixed vegetable curry and the mixed vegetable stir fry.... The curry was not heavy but big on taste...my stir fry was delicious with lots of vegetables spicy brown sauce cooked perfectly delicious... Love this place..will come back again and again.....and again!!! Oh like the reviews..the service was not slow..but its just the husband and wife working there..so might be slow when there are more ppl....

It's OK ,unfortunately it's the only Thai restaurant in Tamarac, you can tell their food isn't fresh .Like the coconut shrimp they just added to the menu taste like it's been frozen , very sad . The chicken Thai Basil needs more basil and the sauce needs to be thicker. I usually go to Thai Spice or Sukathai ,but this place is the last resort . If they had fresh food and took more love into their cooking they would be tens times busier and then i would bring everyone i know here . It's actually cheaper to make the food fresh, than defrosting and cooking it . The owner is really nice though ,she is always so good to us.

I haven't had such a pleasant and friendly experience at a restaurant in a long time, and this place nailed it! The customer service alone was amazing, and the food without a question was just as perfect. We ordered quite a bit of food and no one had anything negative to say. Will definitely be coming back!

Having traveled to Thailand about a dozen times over the last 10 years, it is rare to find a Thai restaurant in America that serves real Thai food. Thai Curry is one of those places. I only wish I lived near it so I could work my way through the menu. We particularly liked the Penang curry chicken. And the staff was very nice, as well.

I expected more from this place with the awesome reviews. When you walk in, you don't know if your suppose to wait to be seated or not. The service was so slow with the husband and wife team. They forgot my drink and I had to ask for it again which took another 10 minutes to receive. This place seems like a locals spot and has a steady flow of traffic. The owner seemed to know many people by name. I had the ginger fish and my girlfriend had the garlic squid. The salmon was okay and the squid flavorless. The prices were high and I was disappointed with the place overall.

Thai Curry has never disappointed me. EVER. Three words to describe the food and service at this spot: 1) Superb 2) Authentic 3) Consistent I have tried many of the dishes that Thai Curry offers and all of them pack a great flavor mixing fresh veggies, rice, and an array of meats/Tofu/Seafood to your desire. A small personal place w/ a very nice atmosphere. A peaceful place to dine at as well. Great portion to price ratio. Thai Curry also has an early bird deal that will blow your mind. This place is family owned (which says a lot) and has been in operation for almost a decade. I do suggest the Jasmine Tea, Thai salad w/ Peanut dressing, Spring roll appetizer, and the Pad Thai. Stop in and stop missing out!

Really good place! We didn't feel like drivin to Coral Springs, so we tried this place for takeout, and they're very quick. Nice people, and my family all liked their Panang curry, sweet & sour, and basil fried rice. My only problem was they don't have many noodle dishes, mainly my fav thai food- Drunken Noodles! I really hope they add more... but great stuff.

Food is pretty good - we live very close, eat here a ton. Food is decent - a bit over priced though. We do take out a lot, scallops red thai curry is great. Inside needs some work - unless you feel like going back to the 70's

Their pad Thai is excellent. The service is always great and attentive. As someone who has only tried pad Thai in two places (Eddie Hills in Hallandale twice with a great male friend) and Thai Curry, I can say the pad Thai here is almost as good as Eddie Hills. This place is less expensive and is my "go to" place now that my friends have moved away.

Ok, went to celebrate a B'day with family. 2 of which were vegans so Thai is always a good choice to please everyone. It was a Sunday night late and it was slow. The nice older lady there was very nice and even adjusted the temperature to suit our taste. Decorations are tasteful and ethnic so it has a nice feel the place. We had the chicken Pad see we.., mixed vegetables noodles. Tofu curry, and we were all impressed. Everything had a distinctive flavor particulate that dish. The food was tasty but not heavy feeling.. To finish we had the fried bananas ice cream and the cheesecake tempura... I was fully expecting a piece of banana and a scoop of ice cream but this was very well done.... The presentation of the desserts were very well done we were impressed and they taste it just as well as they looked. Did I mention the lady "Kitty" was super pleasant and even took pictures for us... Will be back again..

This place is a little hidden if you don't know where to look, but the atmosphere is nice and the food is great. Unfortunately sushi isn't on the menu for lunch, so I had chicken curry, dumplings, and miso soup. It was delicious and the waiter was friendly and attentive. I will be coming back!

Hubbie and I ate their yesterday and the food was very tasty. Once we walked in we didn't expect the place to be small, but we thought this as a good change from where we normally go. We are ordering the same thing tonight for take out. Hopefully we will get the same enjoyment. Don't order the hot green tea...very weak!!!

This is a pretty good Thai restaurant. It wasn't the greatest but it will do perfectly in a pinch. I had the Panang Curry Chicken - wasn't very spicy but tasty. The Peanut and Ginger salad were great. The food was served super fast!!

I Absolutely have nothing bad to say about Thai Curry! Perfect little spot, owned by the sweetest husband and wife. The food is always fresh and cooked perfectly. I've ordered take out a few times, and the food was perfect! Short on time? Call ahead for lunch and they will have your food ready for when you come in.

Upon taking a seat we had already noticed that the fish tank by the entrance/exit door was dark, looked dirty inside, and we could only see one small fish still alive in it. Next, there was an automatic air freshener that kept spewing a cheap annoying smell that made us feel as if we were in a bathroom. The first person to wait on us (serve water) was a courteous waiter who spoke and understood English. Soon afterwards an older man walked into the restaurant and ended up taking our orders, we guessed this could've been the owner? He was kind and courteous too. However, it was a bit challenging when it came to communicating with him to find out whether or not the four dishes listed under Vegetarian dishes had fish sauce (you might be surprised to find out that too many restaurants believe that fish or oysters grow in trees). His English was poor which should not be an issue since we're going there to try the food, we are not going there to test his English, but if one needs to find out more about the food then it is an issue. The so-called vegetarian dish ended up having a fishy flavor... I'm glad to admit I'm not allergic to fish or seafood. The other dishes, curries, were okay like most other restaurants' in SE Florida who seem to be catering to the bland American taste buds? Anyway, it was not until my trip to the bathroom, a smelly dirty bathroom that looked like as if it hadn't been cleaned in -months- that it all started to make sense... the annoying air freshener, and the apparently forgotten fish tank by the door. We can only imagine what the sanitary conditions are in the kitchen. This restaurant is the perfect candidate for one of those kitchen/restaurant shows that get wake-up calls from justifiably-so-pissed-off chefs.

My mom who is 98, has been going here for many years, and the quality of the food here is going downhill, along with the service. Tonite she and her companion ordered the duck as always on the early bird, and both complained it was hard and dried out . They did nothing and said that is what you get on the early bird menu. She won't be going back, they were very rude as well. Skip this place there are better and less expensive Thai restaurants in the area .

i usually go to Moon Thai in Coral Springs for my Thai food but last night I was in the area so I try it here at Thai curry. The food was good but the restaurant smell kinda funny. I love their curry puffs and Tom yum soup. My server which I believe she's the owner is very nice and attentive.

This is a very nice find in our general area. While it's not difficult to find Thai food here, it is difficult, and expensive, to find good Thai food that's not priced like you're paying for the plane ticket to fly in the ingredients. This is a quiet, pleasant little restaurant with a lovely Asian atmosphere. The owner was very genial and more than helpful with deciding on a dish and determining a heat level. I can do a bit of heat in my food, but prefer not to have to drag out my portable fire extinguisher. After a bit of debating with myself, I went for the most popular dish and one of my personally favorites - the Pad Thai. It wasn't long before it came steaming out from the kitchen. It was luscious! The noodles were perfectly cooked and it was tossed with a meaty, sweet/tangy sauce with just the right amount of heat. It was a little sweeter than I am used to for this dish, but certainly not objectionably so. There was plenty for me to take half home for lunch the next day. My only regret is that I was so hungry, I totally forgot to take a pic, LOL. I'll be looking forward to our next experience here. In the meantime, I have to keep searching for my all-time favorite thai dish - pram long song. I've only had it in one restaurant in a city far away. I still dream of it. I may never find it, so I'll just continue coming to Thai Curry. Happy eating and tell them Yelp sent you!

Thai Curry is an awesome place for delicious, reasonably priced Thai food. I've eaten in and ordered take out here. The owners are very friendly. I've eaten around the menu and have a few staples every time I go: Penang Curry, extra spicy, Tom gha kai and Thai iced tea. If you like your food spicier, just tell them and they will accommodate you.

At first I was not a fan of Thai curry but after returning after a few months I am happy to say the service has improved and the food is much better. They hired a lovely young lady who is very attentive. In the past the wait time was ridiculous but they were right on point and I was able to return to work with a 10 minutes to spare. I am happy I have my old lunch spot back!! Keep it up Thai Curry
(4)
Lizeth F.
Not worth the wait, they took about 20 minutes to get our drink and appetizer order, I asked about the sushi and the waiter said no sushi cook, he had already left, we ordered dinner and appetizers together, the appetizers came out 5 mts later cold as if the had been prepared for a while, when I told the cook they were cold he microwaved them and brought them back, the food wasn't brought out for another 35 minutes, while it was freshly made it was bland, the noodles overcooked and the fried rice unfried, there was one person waiting, there was only one other table of 4, no reason for them to take so long.

Family and I have been coming here for years. The waiter recognizes us and knows what we usually order. Unless we want something different. For my b-day they gave free dessert. Friendly staff and good food. I recommend the Thai Red Curry and Beef Fried Rice. For appetizers: The Saiam Rolls & Curry Puffs are great.

We have been dining for almost 10 years at Thai Curry. The moment you enter the restaurant you will find a well kept nicely decorated restaurant and greeted immediately to seated. Yje owners give great hospitality and if you are a repeat ofender they will tell you what you enjoyed the last time nd ask if you would like each course again down to the kind of wine you drink...amazing! We have tried varios dishes and never let down and consistently good. This has been one of the best kept secrets since the location is a bit awkward tucked in a shopping venter that was later blocked by a new free standing CVS yet those that find this gem will be happy they did.

We love this place so much we call it "The Happy Place" because of the wonderful endorphin glow we get after eating here. If you like spicy, be sure to ask for the spice tray. The owner is a wonderful lady who will gladly guide you through the menu and make suggestions if you are unfamiliar with the cuisine.

I am never disappointed with Thai Curry. Small family owned restaurant. Great portions... I always end up with lunch for the next day. Pad Thai is awesome, red curry chicken is great too. Very friendly and efficient service. There's a reason this place has such great reviews.

This restaurant in a nutshell: Good food, terribly SLOW service. As other reviews state, the restaurant is understaffed and run by a husband/wife combo. Wife runs the front office and is the only "waitress", husband manages the back office only. They do have one chef in the kitchen. If you are a regular, expect preferential treatment. If not, take a number, we'll get to you when we can. Food is probably a step better than other Thai restaurants in the area, but if you are here on a date or strapped for time, rethink coming here. I will probably be back, but only for takeout.

Had a decent lunch here earlier this week. The soup was flavorless, but the chicken basil was pretty good. The service was very attentive with refilling our drinks, but otherwise pretty slow. It was fine, but I wouldn't choose it over the many alternatives around town.

What kind of Thai restaurant doesn't have pad kee mao on the menu? This one I guess. I asked if they had it and the waiter/owner seemed impressed that I knew thai (though really that's about the extent of my Thai vocab) and that sure, they could make that for me. Me and my bubbie both ordered it with steamed tofu. Now I'll admit the tofu was very well prepared, and I'm not really a stickler for authenticity as I ordered it mild due to stomach problems I have that preclude me from enjoying any kind of invigorating spice anymore. But what was brought out to us was one of the weakest excuses for drunken noodle I've ever seen. The noodles were not wide or thick, they were very stingy with the basil, and the dish as a whole was quite bland (I didn't want spice, but they still could have put some garlic in it.) Now, it wasn't the worst I've ever had, but its def in the top 3 worst. Also the service was very slow and inattentive. It took them a good 10 mins to bring us water and menus after seating us by pointing at a table from behind the bar. I realize this town isn't crawling with Thai places like where I come from, but there is (or at least used to be, I haven't been out this way for like 5 years) a place on Atlantic Blvd that neither of us could remember the name of that I have some vaguely fond memories of. So I know decent Thai food in this town at least existed at some point. This is not it. As such, the plethora of 5 star reviews for this place is pretty baffling.

This was my first visit to this family owned place which was nicely decorated and the food and service were wonderful. We started with their delicious Thai soups and had the Pad Thai which others reviewed about and it lived up to my expectations. My husband had the Green Shrimp Curry which had lots of shrimp and was perfectly spiced. They have a great inexpensive Early Bird special which we are looking forward to going back for. My only complaint was the TV being on, it took away from the tranquil atmosphere usually found in a Thai Restaurant.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated and just comfortable to be in. They have beautiful wood carvings from Thailand and tranquil salt water fish tanks. We have eaten here over 10 times, and it is always good with fast & friendly service. I haven't had a bad meal here, I often have the sweet & sour or shrimp, red curry or panang curry. Hubby almost always orders garlic squid because he just loves it! For a special treat, try the Mee Grob appetizer, it is crispy sweet fried noodles with shrimp & scallions.

This place is amazing! Me and my friend get 3 appetizers and split the pad Thai noodles and we love it. Lots of opinions. Great service as well.

Awesome. I went for my birthday. I ordered sushi, Seafood Pad Thai and sticky rice. It was very well prepared and seasoned. Great customer service. I will definitely come back.

I ordered take out for dinner last night after reading many reviews. The food was very good and I would definitely return. I ordered beef satay, chicken fried rice, and a chicken pad thai and all were good. Definitely a good place to go.

(4)Lizeth F.

Cute clean hidden restaurant. Stopped in for lunch to go and they were very helpful. The curry was great...I tried a beef and a chicken curry. I would go again if I was in the area.

I have been coming to this restaurant for the past year. I always get the shrimp Pad Thai and to be honest, no other restaurant has been able to come close to the quality and service of this family own restaurant. I recommend it 100%.

(4)Shari M.
