Initially we were unsure about going to a place focusing on Thai and Japanese food. But I'm glad we did. We ordered the pad thai and tofu panang curry. I highly recommend both. Perfectly flavored! Portion sizes were average. My only regret is that we couldn't try more things.

Went here for lunch and ordered their sushi. One of the more poorly made sushis I've had before. My spicy shrimp roll had wayyy too much rice and batter. Very very meager cucumbers and shrimp proportion. Also, the girl serving me was cold and unfriendly.
(2)Julie L.
Red Dragon roll - yum yum yum yum!!! Sexy roll - pretty good, but I could do without the tempura flakes. I'd rather have two Red Dragon rolls. Prices for rolls were a little on the high side, but not completely outrageous. Service was okay, a little on the slow side, but polite.

Spicy Shrimp & Eggplant ...mmmm mmm good. I should never have this for lunch. (I was fighting sleep the rest of the day). I was so glad I still had left overs! The decor is beautiful but cramped. If you can call ahead and order for lunch - especially on busy Friday's when it seems many are ready to start happy hour. Great food, great service, I just need to come back and try the rest of the menu.

I gave it 5 stars because that's the max! Everything I have had has been delicious, today I took the Mrs for soup and sushi. If you have ever had "tom Kha soup" before, think again, I don't know what they do to it nor do I care, it's amazing, it is something I crave constantly! I ordered a veggie roll, add mango and cream cheese and told them to, deep fry it and serve it with some "eel sauce", BOOM!!! My wife was blown away, beyond my creation, their menu has spectacular dishes at great prices.

I have eaten here many times, and the food is great, or at least it started off great. Recently the service has been getting worst and worst. Today was the worst ever. My wife and I met for lunch today and we were sat in the side room away from the main dinning area. We did not have a problem with this as we had our baby with us and we liked the privacy. The problem however was that it took at least ten minuets for a server to realize that the hostess sat us here. We ordered our food and soon the hostess, not our server brought our spring rolls. they were however quite cold. then our server came with another order, not realizing that we were already brought some. I do not now if the ones that she brought were hot and fresh, but I'd like to think that they were. I think that this will be the last time that we eat here.

AWFUL SERVICE!!!! I have come here many times. The Tom Kha is awesome but that is really about it. I leave here disappointed but not because of the food because of the horrible service. Almost everytime I go I have waited over 10 minutes (no joke) to see a server to acknowledge me. Tonight a friend and I went requested to be seated on the patio. We waited for about 10 minutes then I went inside to kindly ask the hostesses to send out our server. We waited another 5 minutes and no server so we left. From now on pick-up orders only. We ended up at another Asian restaurant up the street and were treated like a guest should be treated.

Great sushi & Thai food in Tallahassee.

Definitely the best Thai in Tallahassee and possibly the best of any asian food sans possibly Sakura or Masa. Had the Pad Prik King and the Pad See Ewe. Both of the portion sizes were good... Flavors were accurate and right where they should be. Pad See Ewe was delicious, but not quite authentic. The noodles they used weren't the typical larger flat noodles, but something similar to extra large wide rice noodles, and they had american broccoli added to it as well as carrot and baby bok choy. I should have looked at the menu closer or ask as the dish does say "vegetables" with broccoli, but I assumed it was chinese broccoli . I have seen chinese broccoli at several stores in Tallahassee, so not sure why they are using american broccoli for this dish. Probably to suit Tallahassee clientele. Pad Prik King was ordered "medium", yet was spicier than my "hot" ordered pad see ewe. I'm assuming due to PPK containing chili paste, and I am fine with that but the spicy spectrum could be a little misleading. Next time I will order Thai Hot as neither were that hot to me. Though the PPK left my lips burning a bit and definitely cleared up the nasal passages. I'd still like it slightly spicier to induce a good sweat. Stir Fried Tofu was cooked perfectly and good quality. Yeah it is a bit pricey, but I am glad to pay it for some actual flavor and good asian food. Will definitely be back. I was skeptical for awhile given it's location, but it's bigger than it looks inside, nice decor.

Good food, and one of my "go to places" in Tallahassee. One of the only places I've tried in town that makes good Pad Thai. Nice enough atmosphere.
(4)Sean T.
Went there for the first time the other day with my friend. I was impressed. The service was pretty bad in the sense that we only saw our waitress when she brought out the food and the food also took a while, but I saw how a few large groups came in at the same time so our waitress was swamped (I get it so I'm not gonna pick on that). The food was on point. I had the red curry special and had spring rolls for an app. Both were delicious, fresh and hot. The have a good sized sushi bar so I'll try their Japanese menu next time, but with the nice decor and spacious size on top of the solid food, I'm definitely coming back.

What is happening to you, Siam Sushi?? I used to love this restaurant, but it's really gone down hill. The service is painfully slow for drinks and sushi, especially. Our server even admitted that if we wanted sushi we should order it upon sitting because it would take "forever" to get it. And it did. My Pad Thai was really dry...a clump of noodles were stuck together in the middle so I ate around the outside...not sure how long it had been sitting. The last two times I've eaten there they have been out of Uni. All around disappointment, Siam Sushi. No bueno!

Awesome service!!! Food quality was great as well. Found my sushi spot when visiting Tallahassee, FL.

Good Flavor - Lousy Service The restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night so I took that as a good sign. Other reviewers mentioned the Panang Curry so we went for it. After a discussion with our waiter about degrees of heat, we decided on the mild. What we got was atomic, and it was so hot that I couldn't eat it. We told the waiter and his response was that he forgot. My partner liked the flavor though. The Chef's Won Ton soup was good. After waiting too long for our check the waiter put it on the table and was almost to the next table before asking if we wanted dessert or coffee. We won't be back unless we can get a different waiter.

Best pan-Asian restaurant in Tally. I am especially a fan of the green curry, "Thai hot!" The sushi rolls are great, and there's a decent variety that I think gets changed up from time to time. The lunch specials make them really affordable as well. Two rolls with soup or salad for 9 bucks - can't beat it! The salad is basically just a vehicle for their absolutely incredible ginger dressing. The Tom Kha soup is one of my favorites - a little spicy to cure a cold or rid yourself of allergies. I also recommend the Thai tea if you have to go back to work. If you are able to linger, however, definitely try their cocktails. The Siam bartenders come up with creative concoctions with a sort of South Pacific flair that goes well with the food and are made to a customer's particular tastes. The drinks are artistically garnished, and if you're feeling really fancy, ask them to light your drink on fire! FYI they deliver through Doorstep Delivery (but it's honestly quicker to just call it in and pick it up).

Our favorite Thai restaurant in town. We always order the shrimp fried rice with extra egg, don't know how they make the shrimp so succulent.
(5)Madisen H.
Favorite sushi place. Best crab rangoons!

My third time here. Service was slow. Food was ok. They need to step up their lunch game.
(1)Kacie M.
The sushi was good, but way over priced. I think they are the most expensive sushi place in Tallahassee. I paid twenty something dollars for two rolls (one was a regular spicy tuna, the other was a speciality roll) at lunch with no soup or salad, just the rolls. It was good, but I don't think I'll be getting sushi there again because of the price. Edit: Second time here and I think the sushi is still way over priced. The spring roll appetizer was really yummy and the Thai house salad was huge! Next time I'll get an entree that's not sushi and hopefully I won't feel ripped off! But for now, I'm not impressed.

I have to agree with the complaints about the service and the prices for dinner. Having said that, we love Siam so much that we get take out for dinner almost once a week, sometimes more! We've never had a good experience with service during lunch or dinner, which is a shame because I'd like to be able to relax there and enjoy a drink - evidently they have great bartenders, but sitting there for so long waiting for food just isn't worth it. My husband likes very spicy, and I'm a wimp, so it's nice to be able to order a variety of dishes that we can both enjoy. Sushi chef is excellent! The Tom Kha is AMAZING and I could easily eat that every day. Spicy tuna stack is wonderful, so good that even I will chug water so I can eat it. We've tried almost everything on the menu by now, and have never been disappointed. I just wish they weren't so pricey in the evening. Lunch is very reasonable, though, as long as you aren't in a hurry! And the outdoor seating is dog friendly for well behaved pups!

Sushi is fresh and aesthetically pleasing, the interior is vibrant and beauitful, the thai dishes are amazing and loaded with fresh vegetables and beautiful seafood/meat. Many vegetarian options. Don't miss it. Best Thai food in Tally, hands down. Be wary of the pineapple rice, it is addictive and will inspire cravings for months.
(5)Channa P.
Siam Sushi looks a little sketch when you roll up because it's in a Publix shopping center with little else around. The interior, however, is nice and comfy. I sat at the sushi bar, and had a great time talking to the sushi chef. He made me probably the best cucumber salad ever. It included tuna and squid and was very fresh. He also suggested the Aloha roll, and it too was great. Spciy crab, spicy crawfish, eel, and avocado wrapped in soy. It was the perfect amount of pieces (10) and delicious. This is not the best sushi I've had, but I would definitely go back when in Tallahassee.
(4)bonita t.
i was a little put off by the name (sushi along with the term "authentic thai" ), but the thai food is really wonderful -- way better than my most recent meal at reangthai. the soups and curries are rich and perfectly spiced to order. the number of selections is quite impressive. the sushi is fabulous and beautifully presented. prices are more than reasonable; they have a full bar and a really good wine list for an asian restaurant. they are newly opened and service the first night we were was sketchy. the second night's server, Gan (pronounced "gun") was superb. ask for her.

As we were walking up to Publix to buy a half gallon of ice cream for dessert, we spied this sushi restaurant and decided maybe dinner SHOULD come before dessert! Boy am I glad we made that decision. As it happens, I have a weakness for appetizers (that will surely be the death of me), so I made sure to ask the host if sitting at the sushi bar would score us a miso soup or something; his reply still rings in my ears...."you get a VIP seaweed salad...d...d." For the uninitiated, this might not sound appealing, but let me reassure you anecdotally: even after finishing our large order of Pad Sea Thai, my friend and I were both pouring the excess VIP salad sauce onto our white rice and making sure to nip up each grain with our chopsticks. I almost licked the bowl. I might've. Memory's the darndest thing. Siam makes the best of its location nestled next to a supermarket, and offers outdoor seating in a semi-enclosed setting as well as a very tasteful indoor area with booths, sushi bar, and bar bar. At night it looked very charming. Sitting at the sushi bar afforded us the opportunity to get to know our fish choppas, both of whom were funny and incredibly friendly. I never thought I'd say "I can't wait to go back to Tallahassee"....well, actually, I won't say that, but I will say "I would jump at the chance to go back to Siam!" I have a feeling it holds the best Sushi and Thai food available there. Siam I am! Has that joke been made yet? TOO BAD.

Well then. I have loyalty with most restaurants that I eat, especially when I have some tie to the management on a name-known basis. I take Thai food seriously, and I take sushi seriously. And my birthplace had a little place near my mother's house where I'd always go in, eat my weight's worth in the best Thai I've ever had, and socialize with the people there. They knew all of us, and they'd give us free beignets (or however they're spelled) with sweetened condensed milk for dipping. What a delicious fucking time that always was. Family-owned, really sweet, reasonably-priced. And I've always said that other Thai restaurants just don't compare to this one, because this was MY place. I've finally found a place that rivals it, so far from my first home and slightly more pricey. But dear god, if you had the green curry tofu that I did when I first ate here, or the Pad Thai I ordered and watched Shrek 2 to on some lonesome December night, the fried ice cream with fresh FUCKING BLUEBERRIES used as garnish, the sip of coconut chicken soup I had that my friend ordered, or the three pieces of a special roll called Ladies Man that I had (the biggest sushi ever, I swear), you'd know why I have to slightly betray my friends in Pasco County.

One of my favorite places to eat in tallahassee. Large menu and everything on it is good. Last time I went there I got Thai noodle soup, rainbow roll, and the pineapple fried rice. They were all excellent and I will order them again.

Wanted to try this place after realizing Hopkins had relocated somewhere else in the Lake Ella plaza. Walking in I was extremely impressed. The decor and ambiance was definitely not what I expected. The decor was beautiful and romantic. After waiting a few minutes we were finally seated. All the food items looked delicious but decided to go with the duck and the garlic seafood mix. The duck was absolutely delicious and the portions were just enough, even for the price. The garlic seafood was a bit too garlicky for my taste but still tasty. We also ordered a dessert type sushi and was definitely to die for! Overall very impressed with the menu and food. Price seems to fit. Service was good. Will definitely head back sooner than later.

My review is mostly on the Japanese items (the other half of the menu is Thai) Tallahassee sushi is pretty limited: it's here, Masa, or Sakura. After trying them all, I go back to Siam every single time. The head sushi chef Krishna is fantastic: order a "trust me" roll. He will bring you out the best (and biggest) roll in town, custom to your preferences (love tuna but cant stand eel? say so, he'll give you what you want.) It's only expensive compared to Publix or Mr Roboto, and cheap compared to anything decent in Atlanta. The Thai food is also good, but it's number two to Reangthai. Lots of reviews talk about " the average diner" . With one of the highest rates of restaurant per capita in the country and lots of government employees and students, would you expect to have mostly knowledgeable diners or Japanese people here? unlikely. This town is not a culture hub and it's just not going to make any money catering to picky foodies. Go have some sake and enjoy your meal, it's a good restaurant with good food and good employees.

completely changed my mind about this place, it's now one of my favorite spots in tallahassee. i come here for the thai food, not the sushi. pad thai is best in town. soooooo sooooo good. pad se ew is pretty good too. if you like spicy siam is where it's at. servers are all really friendly and as long as you go when it's not packed service is always superb. the bar makes some pretty great drinks too. the server Rick is really nice and a really good server, theres also a server that looks kinda like jennifer lawrence who's great as well.

I tried this place for sushi for lunch, today, and it was the second time I'd been for sushi. I still have not had a dish Thai there. It was very, very good. I had a spicy tuna roll with the rice on the outside (they call it a Hurricane Roll), a couple pieces of nigiri, and two Blue Moon draught beers. I was by myself, so I sat right at the sushi bar, directly in front of the sushi master's work area. Best lunch I've had in a while. The roll was very tight and stuffed full with a generous portion of fish. The nigiri pieces were artful, beautiful and expertly done. I'd give this place a 5-star rating if the fish was colder, but that is just a personal preference.

Firstly, I want to say that my one star rating has almost nothing to do with the food at Siam. The food is okay. I ordered one of their house specialties, Goong ob Mordin, and while it didn't blow my mind, I liked it enough to keep eating. Siam earned its one star due to the horrible, horrible service. I've never had such atrocious service in my life. I arrived at 7:35 on a Saturday night. My friends had been there for 20 minutes, and the server had only taken their drink orders after they had been sitting there for 15 minutes. So, I was already prepared for some less-than-stellar service. After sitting at the table for 20 minutes (I looked at my watch), I finally got up to find someone to at least take my drink order. I found the assistant manager, who was very apologetic, and she took both my drink and my food orders. She informed us that she would let our server know that we needed assistance. It didn't take too long for our food to come out via a food runner. I don't think any of us had complaints about the food. When we wanted more drinks, it was the food runner who took our drink orders. I had yet to see our server. I'd say this was about 45-50 minutes into our evening. After we had finished and only had a little bit of wine left in our glasses, our server magically appeared, asking if we were ready for the bill. I tipped 10%, and I'm pretty sure my friends did, too. I was careful to write a note on the check: "I've worked in restaurants for years, and I hate tipping this low. However, I didn't see you at all until the end of the meal." And it's true! I don't know if they were understaffed (which seems strange for a Saturday night), or if the server just didn't care, but I'm never going back here again.

Well I have become a regular at Siam, so I have to write a review on it. This is by far one of the best places to get sushi in Tallahassee. It is all very fresh and the restaurant is well kept and clean! Not what you expect at all by looking at the outside. Its located in the lake ella publix plaza and it looks like a cheap takeout place till you walk up to it and see the inside. The tuna tar tar is to die for, I get it as an appetizer every time I go! It is a great spot for dates or dinner with the friends! Also the staff is super friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone who is a sushi fanatic! Even if sushi is not your cup of tea, they have great jasmine rice dishes and other entrees. I love this place.
(5)Rachael M.
I think I've been a little too hard on Siam. The thing was, when this place opened several people I knew tried it & raved about it. I went a few weeks later for lunch and was distinctly unimpressed. Their curry is serviceable, but nothing more. I've had the sashimi several times over the years and my initial impression that it's basically inedible persists. I still think Siam is meant to be mass-appeal food. The first time we went the diners were primarily white people fretting about the mild curry being too spicy. (I got it hot. It wasn't.) But there is nothing wrong with that -- it might be *exactly* what you're looking for. And if it is, Siam has solidly good food, though some dishes are better than others. It also has other good points such as decor and food presentation. And they do have the best Tom Kha in town. However, the last year or so their service has been getting slooooooooooooooooooow. I still have to give it 2 stars because of its average of 4 stars. It's a 3 star restaurant.
(2)Sheila L.
We went to Siam a few days after they opened on a friday night. The decorations are upto-date-thai using clean lines. The staff was very nice though even for a few days after opening I felt I knew more about thai food than they did. The menu is a little convoluted in how they price their plates based on the 'protein'. I'm used to cooking thai and some dishes should have certain proteins. But based on their prices I'm tempted to only eat tofu or veggies to save money. That said the meal was flavored nicely and the thai tea was fabulous. The Sushi was decent. I found the sushi plates to be just as good as Osakas except no photos made it hard to image what I was paying for and I had to gestimate amount of food I was ordering by price. I'm not sure if they are the best thai..they are a decent running (except for price). Sushi wise (considering price) I would stick to your regular favorite unless you're shopping for a new place. P.S.- I would go for lunch to test-out the food and not pay top dollar.
(3)Carly E.
The service is really good and very friendly. The prices are pretty standard. My boyfriend and I split the Pad Phai and a Beauty and the Beast roll, both were fantastic. We're definitely going to be making this place a regular dinner spot!
(5)Kelly W.
Traveling through FL and found this spot on Yelp. Reviews looked good. Came into restaurant a few minutes after 3:00pm and the server would not serve us from the lunch menu even though the restaurant was completely empty. Hard to believe that they would lose a paying customer in this economy over a few minutes. Dinner menu is really pricey. $15 for Panang. $10 for Eggplant. $15 for Fried rice. Yikes! Giving a 2* because of their service and because the Thai tea that I ordered was good...but $3.50 for a tea is pricey for water, tea bag and a little condensed milk. We have a phrase in TX to describe places like this. "Big hat, no cattle."
(2)Rob P.
As Mary E. mentioned, it's hard to believe this place used to be Hopkins Eatery. Without getting into how terrible the food is at that place (Hopkins, I mean), suffice it to say that the aesthetic transformation is rather astounding and complete. If you're familiar with Masa or Sakura just up the road, think that. Gone is the grungy linoleumesque floor, underfurnished dining space and Denny's-worthy ambience; they probably took all of that with them to their new location across the parking lot. In its place you'll find all the warm-toned trimmings and spirit you'd expect of a modern pan-Asian date spot. I have a feeling that the exterior facade of the building linking them to Publix will hold them back for a while as it still screams "grubby take-out," but this is definitely a sit-down joint. A little time, and some creative usage of the small outdoor patio, should heal the Hopkins scar they've inherited. I've been driving past the sister restaurant of this place in Destin (Sushi Siam; clever) for over a year now without ever having stopped in but have come to regret that decision and will make a point of it the next time I'm in the area. As the name implies they offer a hybrid Thai/Sushi menu and trust me, they pull it off. Few places do and typically it's best to be leery of such attempts but we'll get to that. Long story short, both the Thai and sushi is very good, immediately comparable to anywhere else in town, at worst. The first giant plus sign you might pick up on if you're paying attention is that a preponderance of the staff are speaking to each other in guess what, Thai. Yes, that's what you came to a Thai restaurant for. Most Americans probably don't notice or know the difference but when you walk into 90% of Asian establishments they're speaking something other than the native language of the culture whose food they're preparing for you. Japanese restaurant: Vietnamese staff. Vietnamese restaurant: Korean staff. Korean restaurant: Hispanic staff. You get the idea. Not that there's anything inherently wrong with this, it just gives you a better frame of reference for the level of authenticity to expect out of the cuisine. At Siam Sushi the GM, sushi chef and at least three or four of the servers and line cooks were all conversing in Thai all three of the times that I've been there so far. Keep in mind that all three of those visits were during the first week of operation, including opening night, so to have as consistent and positive a showing as I've experienced without the usual new-business hiccups is a strong signal in the affirmative for the future. The first two trips consisted entirely of Thai selections, once for take-out and once at the bar. I asked the bartender, GM and a server each for recommendations on both occasions, adding in a few dishes of my own and as a result have had in total the Tom Yum Goong, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai with Shrimp, Braised Short Ribs in Masanan Curry, and Udon Pad Kee Mao with Seafood. I believe on the menu the soups are called simply Tom Yum and Tom Kha, with your choice of chicken (Gai), shrimp (Goong), or seafood (Talay). Both were excellent with the Tom Yum being much more sour (i.e. authentic) than most you'll find in the area, although I'm ashamed to say my personal tastes lean slightly towards the bastardized more savory (American) versions. The Pad Thai was just right, much better than what you'll find at Reangthai or Bahn Thai and as good as though more elegant and smaller in portion than Rice Bowl. The Braised Short Ribs in Masanan Curry was a first to me and one of the two strong recommendations from the staff. It was a very rich, hearty dish stuffed with potatoes, onions, a large singular chunk of rib meat and a very sweet curry sauce. They had given me fair warning in advance and although it was certainly too much and too sweet for my personal curry preferences, I wasn't going to scorn an employee favorite. Regardless, it was terrific. The other recommendation, Udon Pad Kee Ma ("Drunken Noodles"), is a Chinese-inspired stir fry dish made with thick Japanese udon noodles, chili paste, sweet basil, vegetables and your choice of meat...and man did it hit the frackin' spot. Going again with the recommendation of the GM we had it with mixed seafood and was pleasantly surprised to find it laden with plump sea (not bay) scallops, shrimp, fish and baby octopus. "Mixed seafood" is usually restaurant-speak for "ripoff" but not this time around. Definitely the highlight of the Thai menu so far, and certainly recommended. As this review is getting a little long-winded I'll post an update later with some thoughts on their Sushi after another trip or two. In the meantime just know that it's already AS good as Masa, Sakura, Osaka, Kitcho and way better than Jasmine, Sushi-licious, Lucy Ho, Kiku, Japanica, Samurai Express, etc. Only four stars? It's pricey, a bit too much for the Tallahassee market.

This is currently one of my go-to restaurants in Tally. The food is fresh, well-balanced, healthful, and in the medium-price range. Haven't tried the sushi.

Great food. Decent service. Great decor.

After recently moving from Chicago and having several bad experiences with sushi and Thai restaurants in the area, I was so happy to have stumbled upon this place. I ordered the pick two sushi roll lunch that came with salad (with the absolute best ginger dressing I have ever had; I asked if I could buy some and they agreed! Awesome.) My boyfriend ordered the panang curry, which was wonderfully delicious. The service was great, the ambiance fantastic- will most definitely return here-probably more than my wallet would like.

My husband and I have been searching for a decent Thai place inTally for years. We miss the great access we had from our San Francisco Bay Area days. So, we just visited Siam for the first time today. We ordered milk tea, spring rolls, coconut soup, pad see yew, and coconut sticky rice. The rolls were good, but a nicer touch would be to include fresh lettuce and basil to wrap them. Coconut soup was very rich and flavorful. It was richer than most others I've tried. I recommend adding some white rice to balance it out a bit. Pad see yew was a disappointment. The sauce was underdeveloped and overly salty--I could still taste the soy sauce. And they didn't put enough broccoli or egg. The mango sticky rice was quite tasty! The whipped cream and blueberries were unexpected and unnecessary. The service was friendly and attentive and relatively clean. Kind of pricey ($40 for two) for the amount of food, but the flavors here are overall better than other Thai joints in Tally. I will be coming back to try other dishes and the sushi menu looks creative. **Updated Feb 13, 2011** We have eaten here a couple more times, and I have been more than pleased with each meal, so I've upgraded my 3-star review to 4-stars. Some additional selections to consider: Crab rangoons - they are generous with the crab and make other restaurants attempts lame in comparison Green curry with chicken - OMG, this was perfection! I would not change a thing. Eggplant cooked in chili garlic olive oil - Again perfect. It was a really great accompaniment to the chili basil beef Chili basil with beef - great combo of peppers, onions, chilis, shitake mushrooms and beef Pad thai with chicken or beef - we sampled this both in the mild and medium version. Both are OK, meat is a little dry and not spicy in either mild or medium. My sensitive stomach prevents me from venturing furthur in spiciness. Salad with peanut dressing - their dressing is really great! Spider roll - was good, and I am willing to try more sushi in subsequent visits.

I can't believe this used to be Hopkins. They really transformed the space, and it looks a million times nicer, newer, and bigger! Siam has only been open ten days, but the place was busy and lively. We were greeted by a very sincere and sweet hostess, who sat us down immediately at the sushi bar (everywhere else was full... there was even a birthday party going on!) The sushi chef was friendly and comped each of us a very yummy cucumber salad topped with sashimi and panko flakes. All the food was great. We got the Thai dumplings (chicken/shrimp topped with fried garlic!), wonton soup, red curry, and sushi. Everything was awesome. Recommended.

I find this place to have the nicest ambiance and best Thai food in town. Thank goodness! I have not yet tried the sushi - still working thru all the Thai dishes. This place has the best duck red curry I have ever had.

I have mixed feelings about Siam Sushi. It's a lovely place, convenient area, friendly waitresses. Every time I leave I swear I'll never be back. Yet I keep wanting to go, and I keep wanting to like it, but when I sit down and look at the menu I know I made a mistake in my dining choice for the day. Service: 4 stars. We've only had experience with two of the waitresses and the sushi chef, but they seem like they've been in the industry for ages. Bubbly and more professional than the other Thai places in town (though I noticed new staff at Reangthai last time we ordered to go, and haven't had the chance to dine in with them yet), but not very knowledgeable about Thai or Japanese cuisine. Atmosphere: 4 stars. I could do without the TVs. Part of the restaurant looks like a sports bar, but the rest is very nice and the patrons are quiet and mostly well dressed. Price: 2 stars. Overpriced for nearly everything. $8+ for appetizers. $15+ for entrees. $10+ for sushi. Menu: 1 star. They really have an extensive menu of Thai food and sushi, but I wonder how many dishes they can actually sell, because very little of it appealed to me. I feel like they try to cater to the average diner, and that's fine, but they leave more adventurous dishes off the menu. Dinner menu is slightly more appealing than lunch. Food: 1 star. As I said, most of their dishes are designed with the masses in mind and end up not being very good. Dumplings: More bland than frozen ones. Wings: Tasted like they were once frozen and coated in some horrible sauce. Summer rolls: Overpriced and you could make better sauce and rolls at home even if you didn't know what you were doing. Shrimp tempura: NOT tempura battered. Panko shrimp. Comes with some sauce that tastes like ponzu mixed with soy sauce, instead of tentsuyu. Also the soy sauce that was on the table tasted like licking a mechanic. No offense to mechanics. Sushi: Overpriced and hit and miss. Lots of rolls with creative ingredients. Huge rolls. Some were great but others were less than blah. Seafood garlic: This was the only dish I've had at Siam Sushi that has wowed me. Some female that was sitting at the table next to mine made a comment to the waitress about how much it smelled. I almost choked trying not to laugh at her. Why would you go get Thai food if spices offend you? Keep raving about your pad Thai. Thai tea: Pretty good, actually. Very sweet and not very strong.

I walk by this place and snatch my head. I want to go in and get at least a Pad Thai but the service that I have experienced has just not been good. Prices are a bit steep for the just okay food. They get the stars because the restaurant is very nice.

Everyone I know constantly raves about this place. I've been here twice, and I'm disappointed. I don't even remember what I had the first time, but I just ate the Ginger Chicken, and I feel really ill. It was swimming in grease and I feel like I'm dying. It tasted pretty bland. I got one bite that actually tasted like ginger. My food came out lukewarm. The service was great, and the presentation is nice. I'd probably give this place another shot, but for now.. I don't like it.

Several friends encouraged our trial of this neighborhood favorite. So glad they did. My mate and I were thoroughly pleased with our meals, service and comfort. Although business was brisk, our food came quickly. We have another favorite spot just minutes from home and will enjoy many return visits I am sure.

Great food - service was kind of slow. I went here for lunch on a Friday with a friend and neither of us had been here before. We noticed the restaurant was pretty full and took this as a sign of a good restaurant/good food. After waiting a while for our order to be taken, we were presented with our meals. I chose the Thai fried rice with chicken and my friend chose the Panang curry. Our meals came with a choice of soup or salad; I chose the miso soup and my friend had the salad with peanut sauce. Both were very good, small appetizers. The Panang curry came with a choice of spiciness but I chose to take the fried rice however it came out. It was a bit bland in terms of spice, but I mixed in the red sauce on the side in order to give it a little more flavor. My friend said the Panang curry was very hot and wished it came with more rice. We were approached once early in our meal and asked if we were satisfied, but not approached through the rest of the meal, though we were running low on water and my friend wanted to ask if she could get more rice for the curry to combat the spice. After we were done eating a server approached us and we asked for a box and the bill. She never came back. A while later we made eye contact with another server and she came over and we asked for a box and separate checks. This time, it worked! We left happy with the quality of the food but lunch took 1.5 hours which is quite a long time for lunch. Overall, I was happy with the quality of the miso soup and great Thai fried rice, but would ask for it spicier next time. I would also like to try the Thai iced tea on a warmer day. Looking forward to going back sometime!

I visited Siam Sushi last week for a Tweetup and it was an instant favorite! Everything from the wonderful tea to the beautiful presentation of the sushi was perfect - a word I don't use lightly when it comes to great food. I had the spicy salmon roll with a tempura shrimp roll and it was by far the best I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back often!

Food was fantastic!! I had pad thai and was so delicious . Steamed mussels in coconut cream wih lime for appetizer - thai version of italian mussels with white wine and lemon butter sauce.
(5)Brittany W.
Excellent food and sushi. I have loved everything I've ordered. Too bad it's pricey or I would come here more often! Service is just ok.

OMG AMAZING AMAZING FOOD! I was soo surprised! I used to eat here when it was a Hopkins and they really transformed the place. Full bar, hugeeee dining area, cute little sushi bar. its really beautiful inside. I had the Panang curry which was incredible, the perfect amount of spicyness, my mom god the shrimp pad thai which was superb and dad got the red curry. Everything was super fresh and came out pretty quickly. Next time I eat here I will definitely get the sushi. I highly recommend this place! Best Thai in town for sure
(5)Alan L.
Have been here several more times since the busy weekend with only 1 sushi chef, haven't had any problems since and food is ALWAYS great. Back up to 5 stars!!!
(5)Goober P.
I've dined here and gotten take-out 5 or 6 times and have had excellent food and service every time. The curries in particular represent the subtle, fragrant flavors of Thai food well. Try the panang curry or the masaman curry short ribs with your choice of heat level (mild to hot). Several noodle dishes are also standouts, including Pad Thai and Pad Woon Sen. Tom Kha coconut milk soup was the best I've ever had: rich, with a hint of lemongrass and curry, and big pieces of tender chicken. The sushi is fresh, well prepared and delicious. The lunch menu features several sushi and roll combinations for $9. There are also several Japanese entrees on the menu, but I can't get past all of the wonderful Thai options to try them yet. All in all, Siam Sushi is an excellent addition to Tallahassee's dining scene.
(4)Zach S.
So far, this is my favorite asian place in Tallahassee. There isn't much else to say - the quality is great. I was very happy with my dinner here and wouldn't think twice about coming back.
(5)Gator R.
The best Thai I've found in Tallahassee yet! We went for lunch and ordered the spring rolls, chicken Pad Thai, that my husband scarfed down, and they made a special order of Chicken KaPow for me. The lady actually knew what I was talking about so that was a good sign. I got medium spice but it really wasn't spicy at all. Next time I'll try it spicier. Will definitely go back!

Ok, we love this place, and haven't gone to another Thai place since it opened. But we had a bizarre experience lately that kind of put us off it. We went there for dinner the week before Christmas, and were starving. We walked in and saw that the restauruant was about half full. But the hostess said that they wouldn't be seating any more people for about 20 minutes, but we could wait at the bar. Uh what? She said that the waitstaff and kitchen were backed up so they weren't seating people. Um, half the tables were empty. We didn't really want to sit at the bar, so we asked if we could just sit at one of the tables until they were ready to wait on us (we were ok with the wait). She said no. So we waited at the bar, staring at the open tables, until the manager gave the go ahead to move to a table. Strange, and not a very good sign of how the place is being managed . . .

In the beginning, the food was hit and miss. Sometimes fantastic and sometimes disappointing. But they seem to have really hit their stride now. We have been going for over a year and I think the food is getting better and better. It is far and away the best Thai restaurant in Tallahassee now. The eggplant dish is very unusual and delicious. The pad thai, while not the best I have ever eaten, is very very nice. The curries are marvelous. They actually pay attention to whether you want it medium, hot or Thai hot. The ambiance is pleasant. The wait staff are outstanding. You can sit outside, which is pleasant. My one and only complaint is the TV. WHO GOES TO A RESTAURANT TO WATCH TV? It is loud and distracting. When did this concept begin and why do so many restaurants in Tallahassee put TV sports shows on? If I want to watch TV, I'll stay home and watch TV. If I go out to eat with friends, I want to talk to my friends. Please guys, disconnect the TV. Everything else is lovely.

I have been going for years and began to see a decline in their food and service. Today I ordered the noodle soup and requested that they substitute the coconut milk soup broth and chef said that he would not do it. We were taken aback from their poor customer service. We even did instruct the wonderful sever David, if there was an up charge that would be ok. This was our attempt to see if they could redeem the poor service we received last time we dined there. That was not the case. I recommend going to Masa for Asian inspired food for future patrons.

It is so hard to find good quality sushi in Tallahassee. This place kills the game! Hands down the best sushi in town. We ordered the "Trust me" roll in which our sushi chef, Chris, made us a custom roll after asking us just a few short questions. This roll was not only beautiful on the outside but delicious in my tummy. I went with my sister who is a frequent guest of this establishment and everyone welcomed her as if she was a long time friend and welcomed me with open arms! It was very refreshing and made me want to come back again. If I ever get a sushi craving again, this is the place I'm going to!
(5)Stella M.
Its been a long time since I've had Thai food. I've tried to avoid since going to Thailand. I know that I've been spoiled. Siam sushi is the best thai food we have had in a while. We ordered the green curry and red curry, both were good and with the perfect amount of spice. I only wish that there was more of the actual curry. Once you mix in the rice, there's hardly any curry. I also prefer tofu that isn't fried before adding it to the curry, but I still really enjoyed the tofu with that being said. We also ordered mermaid roll, which we were less pleased with, but it was still pretty good. I used to work at a sushi restaurant, so I'm really critical of sushi. The sushi was rolled well but the tuna lacked flavor.
(3)Allison E.
Good food, but not as tasty as some of the other restaurants serving same food! Very unique experience.
(3)Kelly B.
We ordered edamame, tom yum, tom Kha, and chili basil chicken to split. The waitress was kind enough to bring us both a salad even though we were splitting the entree. Annie's service was 5 star! We got sticky rice with mango...large enough for two people! Loved this place!
(5)Lady D.
Friday lunch date with hubby. I ordered my usual Thom Kah chicken soup. About the 3rd bite, I realized that it had no flavor and I was not enjoying it. It had a lot of chicken but lacked flavor. Where was the lemongrass, the galangal root, the cilantro and mild peppers? There were undertones of corn starch. Weird. I sent it back but sure missed my soup fix this time. I'll try it again next time. For once I did not order the Penang Curry! (I know - will wonders never cease?) I did order the fried fish with a basil chili sauce. It came beautifully presented with a nice long piece of bassa (Caribbean white fish) covered with green beans, mushrooms, red peppers. It was a feast for my eyes. The fish had a nice crunchy exterior and was moist and tender on the inside. The basil and sweet Chili sauce was a wonderful accompaniment. It almost made up for the soup! I would had preferred the green beans be lightly blanched before sautéing in the sauce because they were very crunchy - almost raw. But my meal was great! Hubby had 2 rolls - the bagel roll with salmon, cream cheese, green onions, spicy mayo wrapped in a batter and fried. The batter was too thick - it looked great but the taste was heavy. He also had the Manhattan roll with salmon, tuna and avocado. It was good. We will be back here but I still long for their old Thom Ka Gai soup.

If I go to Siam Sushi, I'm only going there for two reasons: it's close to where I live and it is open on Sundays. It's usually a combination of the two that brings me here. That being said, this place has consistently been unremarkable for me. The curry is weird and almost has a strange thick texture unlike regular curry. It's also pretty expensive for dinner ($14+ if you get meat) and the flavor is not great honestly. The lunch specials are more affordable and come with a salad which is usually drowning in ginger dressing. The dressing always ends up being too much. The service here is wonderful if you like being ignored for your entire meal. It may just be the waitress I've been stuck with for the last three times I've been there, but several times she's passed me by without asking how I'm doing while my drink was totally empty. Not friendly at all. Honestly I would 1000% recommend Thai Place over Siam Sushi any day. This place doesn't deserve four stars whatsoever.
(2)Dayli V.
Siam Sushi was my first restaurant experience in Tallahassee so it holds a special place in my heart. While I haven't had their sushi, I have had their pad Thai, fried rice, and red curry, all very delicious. The portions are huge, which is very nice because it's easy to get more than one meal out of it, and as a college student, leftovers certainly don't hurt. Their Thai iced coffee isn't as good as Bahn Thai's, though. Their service is wonderful, and I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes, if at all, to be seated, and staff has always checked up regularly. Ps- if you're sharing a dish with someone who can't really handle spicy food, ask for spices on the side and they'll bring you several. The peanut Thai sauce is a great addition to the pad Thai!
(4)Cdp O.
Food was a delicious mix of Asian fusion including sushi, Thai, and a few others. Service was very kind and attentive from the moment I walked in the door to the other waiter willing to grab my check while my waiter was busy. I tried the Thai coconut soup and some vegan sushi rolls and all were plentiful with the vegetables and tofu that came with them. I definitely want to try some of their other things on the menu next time I come.
(5)Kelly C.
Ok. If you look back through my review records, I RARELY give bad reviews...this is the second time I've eaten here. In a nutshell: THEY FORGOT ALL MY FOOD. I was eating with my husband and my friend and ordered three pieces of nigiri, the hot date roll, and the miso soup. Well...the nigiri comes out, but the waiter forgot my soup and roll and the soup took twenty five minutes to come out and by the time I got that I was so infuriated that my roll order wasn't put in that I said forget about it and ended up eating leftovers when I got home. This place is far from authentic. The miso soup is kind of sweet and heavy on the seaweed. My nigiri was so heavy on the rice I couldn't chew it, I ended up just eating the fish sashimi style and left hungry. No one steals my happiness and hope to eat a sushi roll, no one dang it. Don't think this place will be on my list to return to when I'm in town visiting my friend.
(2)Stephanie B.
This place was not good at all. We ordered sushi and the rice was severely over-cooked that it was just mush. We ordered three different sushi rolls and they were all bland and tasteless. There was no texture or mouthfeel, just straight mush. Our server was inattentive and we had to find her to pay our bill. This place is a joke and ridiculously expensive for the crap they're serving.
(1)Vanessa C.
The place is a little confused! It doesn't know if it wants to be a go-to date place or an upscale restaurant or what. Not a great location, it prevents it from being really 'classy' with noise levels a bit too high for intimate meals like a date. I can't imagine the outdoor seating get used often since the view is the Publix parking lot. Food was ok. Had the veggie roll (recommended), tofu basil fried rice (delicious vegan option), and a mediocre Spider Roll. Service was ok, I've had better but definitely had worse.
(3)Dawn O.
I'll start off saying this is an isolated incident. I've been here a number of times before and have never experienced what I experienced today. My boyfriend and I got to Siam Sushi and got our glasses of water, as usual. We then proceeded to wait 15 minutes for the Coke Zero my boyfriend ordered and to actually place our food order, which never happened because we left. Our waiter seemed to have forgotten about us and I'm sorry to say how disappointed I am since I've always enjoyed going to this restaurant.
(1)O G.
I go here often and am never disappointed. Their Thai is good, but so is their sushi. I've had their Crab Rangoon (best I think I've had. Really soft, melts in your mouth and has significant amount of crab compared to other places), Tom Kha soup, Red Curry, all really good. I've had several sushi rolls, but if you're adventurous, I would try the Trust Me Roll, which is where you tell the chef what types of things you like and s/he surprises you with an on-the-spot creation. I've had some okay/good results, but once, I had the best sushi of my life and now can never recreate it because I don't know what all went into it or even who the chef was that night. I would definitely recommend trying it though! It's always packed on weekends, great place to meet up with friends, they can accommodate larger parties too. Oh, and if you like Thai iced coffee, theirs is on point.
(4)Kathleen L.
I'm really sad to write such a poor review for this restaurant. Although the sushi was very good, my girlfriend and I experienced horrendous service from our waitress this evening. Upon realizing that we are a lesbian couple, she was completely hostile toward us. We watched her hop between other tables with a bubbly, talkative attitude. In contrast, she was barely able to mutter single words to us. She slammed our water glasses down on the table and could not even make eye contact. It's a shame she treated us so poorly. I would love to dine here again, but after such offensive treatment we will not be coming back.
(1)G S.
Delicious food and good service! Definitely recommend this restaurant for Thai food. We were here on a busy Friday and the food was excellent but the service was alright. They should have more wait staff as the restaurant is always crowded. It has excellent food so it is definitely going to be busy esp on a Friday night. I would have given 5 stars but the slow service and our 25 min wait equate to 4 stars!!
(4)Sherry T.
Hot and sour soup! We thought we were joking one day that they must have a Momma in the kitchen creating this wonderful comfort food. Then, we found out that they call the lady who makes it, Mom! But, that's not all. Whether you choose the Japanese or Thai menu, you will not be disappointed. Sushi chefs are well trained and offer balanced rolls. Only masochists will try Thai hot and all it would do is conceal otherwise tasty dishes. Go for mild and ask for sriracha or Thai flakes and add a dab or two; or more! Don't forget their drinks. They have a great bar and very good mixologists. I make it a point to try a specialty drink as it is vetted to go with the cuisine. Siam Sushi is a go to for vegan's, foodies, vegetarians, cocktail lovers, heat seekers and anyone looking for casual, unique eats (and drinks).
(5)isha m.
I had the coconut lemongrass saki and pad se-ew with tofu. It was great. The spring rolls are nice and crispy. I ordered yellow curry with tofu once (not on the menu) and it was pretty good too. I'm not impressed with their vegetarian rolls much.
(4)Angela W.
I tried the killearn location and was not impressed- this location seems to have better reviews.
(3)Cynthia D.
Love this place. They have amazing sushi. The king roll is my personal favorite, but I haven't tried everything on the menu...yet! Every time my Dad comes to visit me he whines until I take him there. He is a big fan of the trust me roll, which has yet to disappoint. My mom also loves Siam. She gets their curry and pad thai because she doesn't like sushi at all. Honestly I could never describe the service there as fast, so if you're about to eat your arm either order an appetizer (crab rangoon is a solid choice) or save Siam for another day. However, the food is well worth the wait and if you go with people you like the extra time spent can even be a good thing!
(5)Guy B.
We love the food!! Everything on the menu is very yummy. The recent remodel was badly needed. Seems like the service is getting a little better too. Good job!
(4)Tim N.
Based on the previous reviews I really wanted to like this place. Sadly it was just so so. The service was spotty but not bad they were busy, I can and do forgive them for that, the food was just OK, nothing special. I'll go back and try again!
(2)Marcy G.
Great service. Excellent ambiance.
(5)Julia D.
Hands down the best sushi/Thai food in Tallahassee. You wouldn't expect much from a restaurant next to a Publix, but this place does not disappoint. I live nearby and get takeout from here almost every week. The sushi is a little pricey compared to other places, but it's worth it once you see what you're getting. The Emerald Grand, King and Sunset are my favorite rolls. If you want to get real crazy, try the Trust Me. Nine times out of ten it's a home run. If you're going for Thai food, the Tom Kha soup, Red Curry and Braised Short Ribs are amazing. I also cannot rave enough about the Duck Salad. It's one of the best salads I've ever had. Seriously. Do yourself a favor and try it soon. The only change I would make to Siam is to speed up the service time. I've waited a long time for my order to arrive at the table, but I get it, good things take time. I'll be going here as long as I live in Tallahassee and recommend it to everyone I know. Thought it was about time I share these thoughts with the interwebs. You're welcome.
(5)Josh K.
Outstanding sushi! We had the Tallahassee and New Orleans rolls. The salad and mizo is also good. However, service was quite slow. Could have just been the server though. We only saw her three times the entire visit. Drinks were hardly refilled, but she was courteous. Good thing we weren't at work lunch.
(4)Leanne A.
We LOVE Siam Sushi for its "Sweet and Sour Soup". Also the Spicy Sweet with Eggplant is awesome!
(5)Daniel P.
Outdoor seating in a great patio enclosure between the sidewalk and the restaurant entrance. Wait-staff is always very knowledgeable, although we've had one that was particularly "aloof in his table-side manners. When a restaurant actually has Uni in stock, that's always a plus, and the three times that I've ordered it here - they had it. I've had Tom Kha, Pad See Eu, Larb, Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Chicken/Basil. I've always enjoyed the meals from A-Z. Oddly, I've never gone beyond the Uni from the Sushi bar. I guess I just forget that it's more than a Thai restaurant! - Regardless, it's a good place and I think you can expect to be pleased if this is your desired fare.
(4)Karla G.
After hearing rave reviews from some friends who are local, we visited while in Tally this past weekend and were not let down. We tried a bit of everything - appetizers, sushi, Thai food - and it was delicious. I liked that it was casual without being pretentious and still served gourmet quality food. This is exactly my type of place! I wish I lived closer so we could go more often.
(5)Sammy S.
I will never eat anywhere else
(5)Karen L.
Food is great. Sushi is fresh & nice. Drinks are great. GM & bartender, Rick is pompass and condensing. Five stars if all patrons were treated nicely no matter how they are dressed. All $$ spends the same.
(4)Leila A.
The food is really good. The decor is uninspired. The service ranges from OK to awful. The servers can be unpleasant and don't seem to have been burdened with a lot of experience and/or training. A couple of times I walked in and stood at the unattended hostess station waiting to be seated. Both times the bartender had to come out from behind the bar to seat me and he was so unpleasant I got the feeling he would have preferred I had left. He is much more pleasant when he's working as a server. An appetizer and cocktail was forgotten about on my last trip and the server got really irritated when I mentioned it (and because the entree had just been served, she only offered that she had never heard me order it. And then she walked away). All that said, the food was really good.I got somethng different each trip. Then I made the mistake of reading the violations sheet from the DBPR Divisions of Hotels and Restaurants. I won't go back to Siam Sushi until they can go 6 months without a violation! Thank goodness Masa has opened right around the corner!
(2)Terry F.
As a traveling consultant working on a long-term project here in Tallahassee, finding a variety of good restaurants is a must. Siam Sushi is one of my stand-bys in this regard. They have a good menu at reasonable prices. The variety Asian foods is just enough to provide some spice in my weekly diet. The calamari and curries are expecially good. Some interesting Asian beers are also available while I wait for my food to be prepared. My basic stand-by when I want a tasty "to go" option to take back to my hotel.
(3)Eric C.
My family and/or I are regulars at Siam at least once a month; sometimes up to 3-4 times. Every time we are there we come away happy and satisfied with the food and service. I rotate between Pad See-ew and Chili Basil, with the occasional Curry or Soba thrown in. I love it each time. My wife loves the Tom Ka soup. The "Thai hot" is truly hot (I ordered it by mistake once and spent the dinner with tears--of both pain and joy--flowing from my eyes). My kids love the Pad See-ew and friend rice. The wait staff is stable (though they occasionally bicker with each other, which makes for great sport), and they know what they are doing. The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars is the atmosphere, which is a little to dark for my tastes, and the occasional slow service that I have received. That being said, no place is perfect, but Siam is our "go-to" place in Tallahassee.
(4)Lakshmi R.
I tried Sushi this time.. It's so good. I had two rolls of Alaska and Spicy Tuna rolls. Price is just 9$ for two rolls for lunch and I also had a choice of Soup or Salad. I really love the sushi.
(5)Kristian T.
Great thai food with fresh ingredients and lot of taste. Great tom kha, awesome tom yum and best green curry i had in a long time. Proper thai hot and all the right flavours. I would go back anytime.
(5)Bekke S.
Okay. I have to start by saying the only problem I had here was the fact that the host gave away our table after BARELY looking for us AND misquoting our wait time (I may be a lot of things, but I am rarely late to anything. He told us 35 minutes and when we came back in with 10 minutes to spare, he had seated someone else in our spot.) But honestly? Besides that? I had NO PROBLEM with this place. And the food- FANTASTIC. Honestly, I'm a food snob. I grew up in a really multicultural area with really on point, authentic dishes, so living in Tallahassee I doubted I would be having any REALLY decent Thai food for a long time (which is a bummer, because it's my absolute favorite.) But Siam sushi was like a godsend. We got friend calamari for an app, then pad see-ew and pad Thai for the main courses. Phenomenal. It took a little bit for everything to come out (it was a jam packed Saturday night- for good reason!) but it was so worth the wait. Waitress was really nice and personable, too. Go here!
(4)Sha L.
Definitely a must go!!! Came from New York. Driving from Tampa. And stop by Tallahassee. Found this restaurant on Yelp. All four of us got so impressive!! Thumb up! Wish they would move to NYC.
(5)Nicole A.
Super great place! Came here 2 nights in a row because it was so good. On the first night I ordered the chili basil chicken and split it and thank god because it was a big plate. The food the delicious and full of flavor we were basically licking the plate. The second night my parents ordered the chili basil again with beef instead and I picked at it a bit and it was still amazing. I ordered pad see ew because it was reviewed so much but it wasn't what I was expecting because the noodles were flat and thick but no matter it was still amazingly good!!! It was a great experience
(4)K D.
I see most people on here complain about the service. I've only eaten at the location once, and I had no complaints. Usually, I order delivery through Doorstep Delivery. I absolutely love this place! It is a bit pricey for a college student, but it is absolutely worth it. We have tried several items from here (the spring rolls are so good, all the curries, all the noodle dishes--I haven't tried their sushi yet though). I usually get the dinner meals, which have great portion sizes. I usually eat half at the time of arrival and half the next day for lunch. Also, they can be really accomodating. I usually order the Pad See Ew (AMAZZZZING) and I asked if they could add mushrooms. They did, free of charge. I have explored a few places in Tallahassee serving the same style of food, and this place by far is the most delicious. If you're one of those people who constantly nag about service issues, then just order it take out. You won't be disappointed.

Same order -completely different result on different days. First visit on Labor Day for dinner: Eggplant with scallops(lunch order made with dinner portion size), was plump and delicious Returned yesterday for dinner, and ordered the same dish. In one word: Disappointed- the scallops were smaller and overcooked with a rubbery consistency Order side order of Aloha sushi - mostly artificial crab meat.
