Okay, so I'm a lush, but this is one of the few restaurants that sell Lambrusco wine. Now I know it's not for everyone, but it is so good with Italian food! O.Garden is a solid italian chain that one can make a meal out of the salad and bread sticks (both bottomless). Prices are fair and if you can find one that isn't busy you really can't go wrong!

a good place to take a lady friend if you don't wanna impress her. our waiter was about 350lbs and kept leaning on out table which scared us because we didn't think the table would be able to hold him. all you can eat salad and breadsticks is a lie. after about the third round of breadsticks the waiter just starts to ignore you and doesn't bring any more. either that or our waiter was a racist.

olive garden... hm. lets talk about olive garden. i have some bad personal experiences associated with this restaurant. i once had to go here with my friend and her bf who i HATED, it was awkward and it was also the last time i ever saw him. weird... i cant stop picturing him in that dark little room, his beady little eyes staring at me. anyway, onto the actual restaurant. olive garden isnt worth shit. not to me, not to him, not to anyone. this chain is one of the greatest exmaples of american gluttony, capitalism, and consumer culture gone wrong. i dont know where to START. you walk into this """restaurant""" to be greeted with a cold blast of moldy, pasta-filled air. it smells like an old italian man's feet after he has been working in the kitchen all day making minimum wage- an eerie parallel to the conditions these employees likely face. there is one key difference- NO ITALIAN PERSON IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD EVER ENTER THIS PLACE. in addition to the smelly stinky atmosphere, you will never be seated right away. you will be told to sit down and acclimate to the environment while waiting at LEAST 20 minutes to be seated. if there are actually that many people eating there, we are all doomed. this is not italian food. i dont think theres anyone who really thinks it is. but its almost a crime to an entire culture. they have taken some of the most delicious food and watered it down to bland, overpriced pasta dishes. PORTION SIZE??? LET ME TELL YOU, IM USING CAPITAL LETTERS FOR A REASON. HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! THESE PORTIONS ARE ACTUALLY THE BIGGEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. and not only do they give you these massive heavy duty fattening big boy portions, they also fatten you up wit hthose slimy breadsticks beforehand. i hear people RAVE about olive garden breadsticks all the time. WHY?? they are literally JUST BREAD; I COULD PROBABLY MAKE BETTER ONES FROM THE FREEZER AISLE AT WALMART. theres either too much "seasoning" or none at all. amp it up, pls. in reality, overall the food is mediocre at best. ive never been sick from this food, but ive also never enjoyed it- it feels like a chore to shovel it down your throat at risk of offending your grandparents who paid for it. service is fine. i have no qualms with the employees. find a better restaurant to work for if you can- you guys probably smell bad and dont get paid enough for how much cash this chain is raking in. bad venue, bad smell, bad food. the only thing ive ever actually enjoyed here was the beverage i ordered on that fateful day with my friend and her bf. i felt bad for ordering such an expensive drink, but hey- i earned it. at least they are competent enough to know how to put liquid in a cup. the lowest of the low of the food service industry. olive garden- i'll see you in hell.

Called at 9:40 to place a togo order and the brat on the phone refused to let me place an order be a use they were closing in twenty minutes. I was pretty confused because I was under the impression that customers could still be served while the restaraunt was still open.

Wow! This place is REALLY bad. No smiles. Extremely slow service. Waiter tried to pass off root beer for Dr Pepper. His answer when confronted was pretty much "I thought they were the same. ". I am actually impressed with how bad the service was. Pretty comical actually. Thankfully we were not in a rush. Don't come here. Go somewhere else!!! I wish I could give them less than one star..it was that bad.

I always think back to eating at the very first Olive Garden - back in 1986. It's in Orlando. Since then, I think Olive Garden has become synonymous with average fares when straying too far from their core competences (soup & salad). The decore in the TLH restaurant is quite weathered. Service is generally "entry level" but inoffensive. One thing that grates me are the coasters on the chairs. Don't know why. Regardless - Olive Garden gives a good value fare for the reasonable costs. 3star is really because of the tired feel of this one.

I cannot even begin to explain the horrible experiences I've had at this location. For one thing, we're in a college town and often this means that the service at the local restaurants blows. The servers are just trying to make a buck, and they could really give a crap whether they're doing their jobs or not because they're going to leave soon anyway. We've occasionally had good service, but there have been a few times where we've had to complain to management. On the last occasion, we were served only water after the individuals sitting near us (who arrived after we did) were being served food. It was ridiculous. I've had to send food back before. The last time, it was because the chicken I asked for on my pasta tasted as though it had been cooked days ago and then microwaved within an inch of its life. It's just not worth that kind of aggravation.

First time back in two years and we will NEVER RETURN when two plates come out hot but ALL the food on the plates was cold. The manager says "I don't know how this happened" which shows how inept she is about kitchen supervision. Clearly they let the food sit, get cold, and used a hot plate thinking it would warm the food. The portion sizes were pathetically small. Chicken breasts were thin, overcooked and the size of a Robin. The five strings of asparagus were thinner than my shoelaces. The broccoli was cold to the touch. We will NEVER eat here again and suggest you do not either.

Went here for dinner last night... Worst dining experience ever. The trashiest people work at this place and it shows. I don't know who is running this place but it's an embarrassment to the Darden franchise. Overall the food was decent, but the service was so bad. Servers were vacuuming in the dining room while we were eating. In addition about 6 serves were hanging out chatting in the dining room while we waited 30 mins to be served bread sticks. The hostess were rude and demanded we get up and move. This was a huge disappointment considering I'm an ex darden employee at red lobster. Apparently they aren't held to the same standards here as everywhere else. Needless to say I will never be returning to this Olive Garden, and I recommend you don't either if your expecting an authentic Italian experience.

I love Olive Garden and always try to hit one up when I travel. This one was so disappointing. Since I'm by myself when I travel, I usually just go to the bar area. Tonight I went straight to the bar and say there for about 10 minutes while what looked like the manager chatted with a guy and the bartender was busy taking care of orders. I patiently waited thinking the lady would help me when she was done but I was mistaken...she just walked away. So here I sat completely ignored with no menus. After another 5 minutes I reached across the bar and grabbed menus and started to flip through it hoping the bartender would help me in a few minutes but again I was wrong. After 10 minutes without even so much of an acknowledgement I decided to go hit up chipotle. Disappointing Olive Garden, very dissappointing

Compared to the Olive Garden from my home town this one is pretty good. The wait staff during my visit were really good. The food was typical Olive Garden though. I tend to enjoy the salad and soup the most.

It still mystifies me that people will actually wait 30-45 minutes or longer just to get a table at this place. The food is processed and frozen, and it's the typical national chain where it's noisy and crowded. But people flock to this place like they were giving away gold. Utter chaos is not my idea of a pleasant evening out. But to each his own. I'll go to another Italian restaurant where it's locally owned and operated, and where you aren't handed some electronic box to sit outside until it vibrates. You can definitely do better.

Olive Garden, like any other chain, has its ups and downs. The breadsticks are always good. I've never had a complaint about the Alfredo. The desserts are spot on. The service is hit or miss.

This old girl is what she is. She's been cranking it out since the 80's and could use a facelift. That being said she has never let me down. The staff are well trained and very accommodating. For lunch I always go for the soup and salad, a great combination at a great price. My hats off to the staff and management for the shear volume of customers they consistently serve on a daily basis. You guys and gals rock it..........

Thank you Olive Garden for the worst birthday dinner I've ever had. We had the worst service and the food was far from worthy of the price. We will never be back. And that's saying something coming from avid Olive Garden fans. On top of that, they poisoned me with raspberries when I'm deathly allergic.

Really nice staff and the air conditioning works great. First time having the Bisteca, it was really good. I am absolutely surprised!

This is your standard Olive Garden, but I probably won't be back. The service was great, but food (particularly seafood) was tasteless.

The atmosphere was ok and the food was also ok. it wasn't that bad, but I could tell the waitress was trying to get us out of there soon as we were done with our meal... I felt rushed. (I guess the service was quick... a little bit too quick :/) it was an alright overall, probably below your avg olive garden to be honest whatever that may mean

I can't stand going in here anymore. For years it's had the sour dirty dish rag smell. Dirty dish rags saturated in bacteria smeared across the tables... It's a real sh1t hole. I go along with groups who want to go here, but I'm putting my foot down, I can't handle it. I had tea there once that smelled like a dirty dish rag. I much rather go into Lindy's around the corner, for a dirty dining room experience.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
