Had so much fun with Tony as my Habafhi chef on my birthday. I had the steaak and scallop and loved the ahow. This place is awesome for large celebration groups. My entire group of 20 had a blast. I will be back and well done Mori! BRAVO!!

Never again, just because I ordered white rice I received my meal last It seemed to make him mad that he didn't have to cook my rice but I don't care cause the whole meal was NOT worth the price. I'll go elsewhere! Osaka's is much better!

My fiancé and I love Mori. It's our favorite sushi in town. Good prices and portions and all sushi comes with soup + salad. Can't speak for the hibachi.

The laid back atmosphere is nice. It did take a little longer to get our sushi than normal. The chicken soup was full of flavor! The crispy roll was sweet and full of yummy goodness. The wait staff was friendly. One improvement would be the bathrooms. The toilet seats were all stained up and the walls aren't finished in the eating area and the bathroom but it didn't distract me from the good food

We were traveling and looking for a good Japanese Hibachi Restaurant. If your looking for a fancy clean place this is NOT it. It was very outdated and old looking inside. The waitress watched us like a hawk from around the corner which was annoying. The cook was a very nice man and did a great job cooking. Overall the food was okay but I would not go back. Like I said it was just so old looking. We ate off of plastic plates and the table and chair seemed like they were from the 80's. Next time I will make sure I go to a well known place like Kobes, Benihana's, or Fuji's! Sorry.... Not sorry..

My absolute favorite Japanese steakhouse. Having tried them in both Tampa and Tallahassee Mori is my favorite! Good prices for a LOT of food and a show. We've never had a long wait and bonus if you are going for a celebration they will take 10% off the whole bill OR give you a gift card to come back for that amount. Always make sure to get extra yum yum sauce :) Drinks are decently priced too and I believe often have 2-4-1s and happy hour. Love Mori!

I definitely prefer Osaka's for Hibachi. And that's all I have to say about that.

Went here for a friend's birthday. The sauces tasted a little off than what I expected. The preparation of the food was not bad, I think it was just the quality of the food. I don't know if it is where they buy it from or was it just old but it differently just made it mediocre than what it could have been. I personality wouldn't recommend it but I wont stop you from going to it either, if that says anything. but overall it wasn't bad.

I came here last night with a group of friends/co-workers to celebrate a birthday. To my surprise, we were seated rather quickly. The waitress, although a tad confused at times, was extremely pleasant. She did provide us with the appropriate amount of attention. The food.......I usually just stick to their sushi, that is wonderful, but this time I decided to order one of their hibachi meals. I had shrimp & tuna. It included soup (which was delicious), salad (lettuce & dressing-blah) veggies & fried rice. The tuna, while flavorful, was a bit over-cooked. I would say that the food is ok, nothing really to rave about. Our chef, however, is a different story. He definitely entertained our group from the moment he fired up the hibachi! He was extremely funny and made it a point to make sure that everyone was "involved" in the dining experience. I would give him 5 stars!!!!! Overall, while I wasn't overwhelmed by Mori's, I would go back again. It's typical hibachi-style dining.

Monkey brains. Eat them. Love them. Order more. We came at about 7:30 on a Friday and even though there were a lot of cars parked outside, it was surprisingly not crowded. We elected to sit on the sushi side of the restaurant and there was only one other table seated there. We had to wait a while for the waitress to take our order and refill our drinks, but overall I actually thought the service was good and everyone gave us plenty of attention, even the sushi chefs. Onto the food, the sushi was good enough. It was served quickly and the presentation was nice. The rolls were decorated with what I thought were cherry tomatoes, but they were actually maraschino cherries and it was a nice surprise! Presentation was over the top and gorgeous. I didn't see uni on the menu, but there were enough nigiri choices to satisfy me. And to repeat what I said earlier, the monkey brains (mushrooms, krab, and something else, wrapped and deep fried), were amazing. Our meal (hibachi? I don't know what to call it, it was ordered off the menu and brought to the table, no knife tricks involved) however, was disappointing. It was overcooked, not fresh, and way too salty. So, I'd give them 4 stars for the sushi and 0 for the hibachi. Comparing price to quality, everything was probably a little overpriced, but it was still extremely reasonable for a hibachi restaurant.

Every single stinkin' time I have been to Mori's, I have left happy and full of great food. Weather it's the fresh sushi or the hibachi chicken, I'm just plain stuffed and smilin'. And you can either savor the privacy of a small table by the fountain, or join in with some raucous newly-formed-friends at the community grills. Definitely need to try this one!

We only go for the sushi. They have a really nice laid-back, intimate atmosphere, good servers, and really good sushi-chefs. We've tried all of the serious sushi places in town, and we think Mori's is as good as any of them, and definitely better than most.

So just another night on business in Tallahassee, and my GPS found this place in my vicinity. The restaurant is just average. Since I'm from Gainesville and Yamatos is just the best, this place really pales in comparison. First of all the prices are a little higher than I'm used to for a Hibachi restaurant. The food is okay, but the soup was lukewarm, the meats were pretty salty, and the fried rice was dry. Also the portions were so-so... The upside was that the service was good though.

Short and sweet: I've brought many people from various parts of the world to this restaurant, and they have all loved the experience and the food. Hibachi will always be a pricier meal, but I've found that Mori's gives you the most food and quality for your money. One of my must-go-to restaurants of Tallahassee.
