Just finished up at Moe's for some dinner while on the job. Let me start by saying that Moe's is always a good idea. I have never left a Moe's feeling less satisfied than before I entered. Today for dinner I went with the Wrong Doug Stack, which was a great alternative to my usual JC Quesadillas. My WD consisted of Chicken, Cheese, Queso, Jalapeños, Sour Cream and Pico de Gallo all stuffed between two hard shelled tortillas and wrapped in an even larger soft tortilla. Of course my meal also came with complimentary tortilla chips which are always welcomed (I'm looking at you, Chipotle). I also never get tired of having the staff greet me with a big "Welcome to Moe's!" every time I walk in. If you haven't tried Moe's, take my advice and just check it out. And as we all know, Moe's Knows!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Normally I have a good experience at this particular Moe's establishment. That being said, today's visit was a major let down. The food was Luke warm, the entire restaurant smelled like urine as if someone cleaned the restrooms and then cleaned the dining area with the same dirty mop. The plastic trays that the food was served on were covered with a sour smell as if a dirty rag was used to clean them and then not dried off. Then to top it all off there soda fountain had an out of order sign on the hi c so I proceeded to get root beer right beside the hi c. The manager had switched the tip in the fountain and when I pressed the button soda syrup sprayed a sticky mess on me and my cloths. RIDICULOUS! This particular Moe's is no longer in my rotation to visit. I will be going to the one on Mahan by academy sports.

I eat here a lot since it's close to home. It's Moe's, so you know the food is great, but the staff here is exceptional. Whoever does the hiring is doing it well.

"Welcome to Moe's!" This is what the staff will scream at you as you walk through the door. Moe's is the home of the over-sized burrito. If you want to take your love of Taco Bell or Chipotle to the extreme, the Moe's is the next step in evolution. Don't let the unusual menu items (Homewrecker, Joey Bag of Donuts) confuse you. The kitschy names are just to distract you from the massive size of what you're ordering. They offer tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, salads and more. All come with free chips that can be complimented by the small salsa bar near the soda machine. Moe's is one of my go-to places when I'm hungry and looking thing for something different. If you're a fan of Chipotle or Qudoba, Moe's will seem familiar. Their fast casual style is similar.

Tried Moe's. Basically similar to Chipotle (build your own burrito kind of thing) but I prefer Chipotle. Nothing against Moe's though!

Moe's is a chain cafeteria style American version of Mexican Food, basically put together with a variety of options. Not my idea of Mexican food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
