I've been here before prior to the aesthetic modifications and actually liked the place when I came for drinks as a bar patron. I visited today for food and was extremely underwhelmed, not only by my skimpy over priced appetizer(pretzel bites), but our lethargic server. They had 8 tables at one point and 2 servers. 25 people (not counting the bar) for 2 servers. At this point my expectations were already low. My pretzel bites were properly cooked however they were just one deep fried pretzel cut into pieces. Basically I paid 5.99 for a pretzel and sauce. The wings were good nothing extremely impressive. One star goes to the atmosphere and one to my server for being quadruple sat at one time. Hopefully if I ever visit in the future the portion will match the price.

I went to Midtown Pass last night with a couple of friends. The waitress greeted us and told us that she had just been cut from her shift, and asked if we would go to the bar to place our order, which was fine. We went to the bar, and the bartender told us that the waitress would take our order, although the bar wasn't particularly full and he wasn't busy tending on any other patrons at the moment. The waitress came back on the floor and stopped to talk to some of her friends, we waited and watched her talk to her friends for about five minutes and left without placing an order. Really really bad service.

The food was better than expected, the service was ok. We loved the chopped guacamole and the cheese fries with pulled pork!

Went to Midtown Pass last night to watch the FSU/Clemson game. It was pretty packed as expected, and was a seat yourself setup. We found a table, and werent greeted by a waitress for at least 15 minutes. Once she found us, we put in our food orders along with our drink orders since we had a feeling we wouldn't see her again for a long time. 30 minutes later we get our draft beers. As we watch her run around like a chicken without a head, I'm watching several bartenders sit and watch the game without ever considering helping out the one lone server. 1 hour later our food arrives, cold to the touch. My friend requests new fries that aren't cold, and our server storms off as if the request was outrageous. She returns a few minutes later, slams a new batch of fries on the table and storms off again. My boyfriend, never received his food. She comes and asks if we need anything, and he asked that she remove his meal from our ticket considering he never got it. Our other friend never got his food, and the waitress admitted that she forgot to add it to our ticket. We got our checks, took off, and most likely will never return. At least FSU won.

Kind of a depressing atmosphere. It looks like someone with a bunch of old TVs found an abandoned club and decided to squat and start up a sports bar. Awkward seating if you're trying to watch games, poor lighting, and the worst TVs I've seen in a sports bar. The servers were mostly an apathectic bunch, like this was their first job ever and no one told them that they had to actually work. Will not go back.
