I like their subs. They are my go to for a descent subs sandwich. They remind me of the subs that I grew up eating on the Jersey Shores. I would go up on vacation for many many years. They do slice the meat to order and it is piled on and not payed on. For som reason it is better that way. This store is right down the road from my job. When e bosses are in we normally don't have much time so. Pop over here where the store is clean and they are fast at making subs. I will be back.

I have always ordered the chipotle chicken philly this time they were out of chicken so I decided to try out the chipotle steak philly. I added lettuce and tomato to it which I know is kind of weird for a philly but it was really good! Maybe even better than the chicken and I love the chicken.

probably best option to get a quick to go sandwich/subs in town if u want something a little better than jimmy johns or subway. The only thing is the parking is hard to find.

BEST SANDWICHES IN TALLAHASSEE PERIOD. It's expensive yes but if you don't want to spend the money then you can go down the street and spend $5 on a dry plastic sub from Subway. All if the ingredients are super fresh & it's delicious. Every time I have gone to this Jersey Mikes [at least once a week] the people there are extremely nice. Sometimes they have issues with their assembly line. & they over do the oil & vinegar but overall its one of my favorite places in Tally.

The Big Kahuna has the best with a perfect blend of cheese, meat and other toppings! When I come to Jersey Mike's that's all I order so I guess I'm stuck in my ways!

I'm surprised this place only gets an overall 3 star ranking. Of course, this is TallaNasty, "Home of Blandness and We Like It That Way" so who knows, am I right? As for me, I was familiar with Jersey Mike's from my time spent living in the Northeast and was glad to see them here in our own, usually benighted, region. Had the Original Italian (ham, turkey, prosciutto, salami, pepperoni, capicuollo and provolone in large amounts), watched them slice the meat and cheese right before my eyes (as the sandwich gods intended!) and had it loaded up with my choice of fresh toppings and plenty of red pepper relish and oil and vinegar. Now that, friends, is a freakin' sandwich... Puts that Jared guy's joint to shame! As for people complaining about the price? Well, for the amount of freshly sliced meat and cheese you get, I don't see what the whining's all about. Maybe you all should've just gone to Mickey D's for McMeatSlurry Nuggets. "Ain't really meat, but they're cheap!" Me? I'm glad we now have a Jersey Mike's. Finally, I can get a real sub sandwich again, instead of the lame faux versions I've been suffering with for years.

It was alright. I ordered the meatball sub, since I'm not into vegetables. It was very messy, a bit hard to eat, not too flavorful, and cost more than a footlong at subway which I would have enjoyed much more. Don't see myself coming back here.

I'm not expecting a whole lot from a sandwich shop. Decent food at a reasonable price is all I ask. This is apparently too much to ask from Jersey Mikes. There are a few things that I am looking for in a good sandwich. Good bread, flavorful meat, and fresh toppings. The bread wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either. The meat and cheese had no flavor at all. I had a turkey and provolone "Mike's Way" which means it comes with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil and spices. I also had them add some cherry pepper relish. The cherry pepper relish is the single reason I'm not giving this place one star. The ordering system isn't very efficient. You queue up and order your sandwich, at which point they slice your meat and bread. Rather than keep you in the line while they assemble your order they have you pay. At which point telling the person behind the counter how you want your sandwich becomes a little difficult because you are either past the register or behind the line. Parking is almost nonexistent. We got there at 11:30 AM and there was one spot available. By the time we were leaving at 12:10, there were four cars circling the parking lot and some douche had parked his jacked up Chevy Diesel on the grassy space between the parking lot and the street. All in all, there are plenty of other places I'd rather spend 10 bucks on a sandwich in Tallahassee, but none have cherry pepper relish. I am sure I wasted a perfectly good snooki reference in here somewhere, but it's not even worth the attempt at mediocre humor.

Sorry JJ's and Quiznos, you've lost me to Jersey Mike's. Since they opened a few months ago I've been hooked on their delicious subs. Great fresh quality meats, good bread and great ingredients topped with a crazy low price (with the Jersey Mikes Student discount card). I always get the Club Supreme, Mike's way of course with banana peppers and jalapenos. Service is always friendly and quick. The only downside is the small parking lot but I don't care, good things don't come easy right? Place is welcoming, clean and the outside patio is nice especially at night when it's not scorching hot. Favorite sub place so far. Wish they had one here in PBG.

Between this place and the Chipotle next door, the parking lot is usually packed so full you'll see cars parked on the medians. I thought this was unusual behavior until I ordered my sub, and the guy commented on it by saying that yea, they usually encourage people to just park up on the grass because they usually get people in and out quick. I guess they don't tow? Either way the sub was really good, the bread which they bake on site is really fluffy and warm. The ingredients seemed to reflect the relatively high cost of the sandwich (I got a 6~ inch Philly cheese steak for 7 dollars), but it was pretty damn good. I guess that's always subjective, though, so you'll have to decide if the ingredients are good enough to merit your dollar. Also, they do this thing where you enter your phone number into a box every time you order, and it'll send you a text letting you know how many sandwiches you've bought. Once you hit a certain amount of purchases, you can get free sandwich, but I could see how this system might be annoying for people without unlimited texting plans. Because of the price, you wouldn't want to go to Jersey Mike's if you just want to grab a quick sandwich on the way to work - but definitely a nicer place to eat at than say Jimmy Johns or Subway if you instead wanted to get a really casual & quick dinner with some friends.

I have to say that I eat at different sub places for different subs. Jersey Mike's is very good. They slice the meat for your sandwich fresh when you order it. I get the club and have them replace the bacon for roast beef.

Subs here are fresh and delicious. a little over priced but you definitely get a nice portion for what you pay for. I'm from Jersey, so they aren't as authentic with the variety of toppings but they have the basics down and the ingredients are fresh, which is most important.

I had the worst sub and snarky service yesterday at this place. Clearly a manager of some sort is needed. I have eaten at other Jersey Mike's subs in Florida and had great food and service, but NOT IN TALLAHASSEE. Say far far away.

I have been a Jimmy Johns fan for quite a few years, but not anymore. There is a new sub shop in town and it kicks the crap out of JJ's. The bread is fresh, the veggies taste great and don't look like they have been sitting out all day, they use their own type of seasonings which are awesome, and the meats and cheese which they cut in front of you are delicious. Of all the things Mikes does better than Jimmy it was the bacon that sold me. best bacon of any sub shop I have ever had. Prices are alright, maybe a little over Jimmy but well worth the extra dollar. Every time I go I tell myself I will try a different sub but I always end up getting the club or the club supreme, I finally went outside the comfort zone last time and had the Italian. It was really good but personally I prefer the club or club supreme. I have been to both locations and they both are fantastic.

As far as sandwich chains go this one is top notch when it comes to food quality. Staff cuts cold cuts fresh for each ordered sandwich. They have a pretty standard cafeteria set up going on. Tends to be really loud/dirty because of it's location by campus. The staff doesn't really go out of their way to make anyone feel welcome and have a tendency to even come off as rude. Your best bet is calling ahead and taking out.
