Best burrito chain in the game. All their proteins are great, but the Barbacoa is my favorite. The only negative is that they charge $1.30 for the same chips everyone else includes. I understand businesses are for making profits, but that's always put me off a little.

It's not possible to properly review and "star" my visit today. Just before ordering I noticed a sign alerting customers that there was no guacamole in the house due to an avocado shortage...say what? I was just at Trader Joe's and saw a mound of avocados in the produce section. Send an employee for a guac run, for crying out loud! That was enough for me to leave...I just wanted guacamole on my carnitas salad....

This Chipotle was by far the worst one I've been too. Got my typical chicken bowl and it should have been renamed the rice bowl. 3 scoops of rice and a half of scoop of chicken. Asked if I could get a full scoop, they said that would be double meat. I laughed and said no thank, knowing I would write this spiteful review. The food wasn't hot more on the cold side but that could be because it was 60 degrees inside the fast food joint. So $10 later, 25 mins eating like an Eskimo, and now a gut wrenching feeling from probably under cooked or spoiled chicken, I'm never going there again!

This is the worst Chipotle ever. I have visited 3 times hoping it would get better and it has not. The meat is consistently under cooked and the tables and floors are always filthy. The location on the south side is equal to ones I have been to in other cities, so don't let this location be your guide to what is usually a bright, clean, fast-cas eatery with fresh ingredients.

Seriously.. Not a food snub but can I get some chicken on my burrito. The lady scooped up what looks like scraps of chicken from the serving container. Mind you the scoop wasn't even full as she moved it to the next person.. Other stores use a scoop and a half... Just lost a customer here.. It's not like it came out of your wages.. Why not try to make the customer happy.

Chipotle is great overall. Better flavor compared to Moes. My only issue with Chipotle is when they make your burrito and it falls apart, they REMOVE some of the contents and perform a choreographed surgical transfer of its remaining contents to a new shell. "Hey, thats my food you are throwing away!" Do i sound hungry?? Anyway... I can't think of a time that I wasn't in the mood for some Chi-pot-el.

Stopping at this Chipotle reminded me of why I don't eat here. After a funeral service, we were on our way back home and the group decided to stop here. We went in and ordered in turn, once it got to me, I got a steak burrito, nothing fancy and a beer. BAM your total is $17.37!?!? What? Just for a burrito and a beer, no friggin way. I didn't argue since it was busy and the group was already eating. After we left and I got home and emptied my pockets, I saw my receipt. Looked at it and saw I was charged for extra steak and guacamole...hold on, I don't remember asking for that nor did I taste extra steak or guacamole in my burrito. That was a $5 upcharge, is Chipotle running a scam? Oh just charge extra and customers won't see a difference. Umm..no, thanks for reminding me why I hate Chipotle.

Food was typical Chipotle, but the rear door to the restaurant was open. In Florida, when doors are open, flies and mosquitoes do fly inside. Why would the kitchen have the door open? I thought the food was good, but slightly on the cold side for 5:45 P.M. You would think the meat would be nice and hot at supper time.

I took several years of Spanish and always thought Chipotle in Spanish meant "smoky pepper" not "lie, fool, and upcharge the customer" which apparently it does mean ,because that's all they do...Chipotle makes billions off the American Consumer every year by pounding that image home that they are healthy "fast casual" not fast food when in reality many of their dishes have more fat and sodium than many dishes at McDonalds...They also like to sell you images that their pigs..cows..and chickens are raised in a meadow overlooking The Pacific while sipping a nice California Chardonnay and listening to Yanni while being massaged daily....I don't know or care if any of that is true I just want a decent burrito...I make the default mistake of coming here once or twice a year when I can't figure out where else to go and I always leave pissed that I came here...You come here and it's pretty basic...you choose a burrito or a bowl...than you choose your protein(chicken..pork..or steak)...and let me tell you the employees have it down to a science to spread a minimum of meat over the maximum area to make it look like you are getting a lot...they are stingy like that with the cheese as well...I always thought I might be being too harsh on them till I read that Chipotle has a class with all the new employees on how to "manage" the seven key food items...aha..so I was not imagining it!!....anyway you then pick and choose what else you want in it and then you pay for it....and boy do you pay at Chipotle...you want chips and salsa...that's extra...you want guacamole...that will be 2 dollars for a thimble sized portion....they should be embarrassed about their guacamole portion and charge...even getting none of the extras a Burrito and a drink runs one well over ten bucks....as for the food itself it always ends up being very average...to me it just always seems like a tortilla stuffed with much rice..beans..and lettuce and very little of anything else...I'm just not a fan of places like Qdoba..Moe's ,Tijuana Flats..Chipotle..etc because I can get better Mexican Food..more of it..free chips and salsa all for cheaper at numerous Mexican Restaurants in Tally....only reason I am giving a second star is that the employees are pretty pleasant and the store is spotless...Chipotle is No Bueno and just head to El Jalisco or Peppers instead

I honestly don't see what the big hype is about this place. Moe's, which is just up the street and near most of the other Chipotles in town gives you far more variety and far more bang for the buck. I went to this place for the first time and the rice that they served was so good it made me want to come back just for that. However, I've been back a few times and the brown rice is always undercooked to the point of crunchiness. I pointed this out to several employees and told them to tell their cooks that brown rice simply takes longer than white rice to cook. It would be nice to order a brown rice burrito, but every time I do it inns up being crunchy where it's not supposed to be: in the rice. Charging two dollars for once scoop of avocado was a bit much too. Finally, when they charge for chips and salsa and I can get them for free at Moe's, it just makes sense to me to go to Moe's instead. Moe's salsa also tastes far better. On a positive note, I'm very happy to see that they have a vegan protein option now as of November 2014: The sofritos. I will give it a few weeks and check on it just to taste that again. It was very good.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
