Yes, good bagels. Good coffee. Overall intentions of the manager? High spirits, trying to fulfill good customer service. HOWEVER...snails for staff. It took 20 minutes to receive our order. It was incorrect. 38 minutes later...still not right. We ate, it was ok. But thank God for our patience and positive attitude...the guy behind me threw his money down and didn't even wait for his change. Is this a welcome to Florida? Turtle time. S L O W communication and movement. Great dog friendly patio though.

This was a great stop for breakfast. Even though I went at a busy time (8:30am), the service was fast and friendly. When you walk in it smells amazing, a mix of bagels, coffee and bacon. They have an assortment of bagels to choose from on heir own or to build a sandwich on. They have pumpkin bagels, pumpkin cream cheese and pumpkin coffee already. It was a pleasant surprise and is a huge selling point for me. The coffee is cheap and they have soy milk as an option, which might be the first time I've seen that at a bagel chain. The bagels are light and chewy. You could see the spices in it. I got it toasted, which I'm always leery of. Sometimes it's toasted fine and other times it has jagged, crunchy pieces from the way it's cut and then burned. That wasn't the case here. It was lightly toasted to give a little more firmness but no crunch. The cream cheese was in a thin layer, instead of globs of it like I've had at other chains. The cream cheese wasn't overpowering but very flavorful. They have a large selection of packaged cream cheese you could buy, like jalapeño, bacon or pumpkin. I wish I had one of these closer to me, but as I travel I will look for this chain near me.

I had a great time. I ordered a bagel with hummus, it turns out that for 3 dollars you can choose to have fresh vegetables added also. The coffee looked great. The space is perfect for before noon newspaper reading.

Coming in from Tampa, I'd never been to this particular bagel chain before. The reviews for this site reported that the staff was less than adequate at performing their jobs, but this was not the case. Ordering my bagel was easy and relatively fast. I ordered the Turkey with a twist, sans maple cream cheese, and the bagel itself was very tasty. The only reason for the lack of a star is because of the conditions of the bathroom. I always find myself being very judgmental of restaurant bathrooms, and these were not exceptionally clean. If you're looking for a quick bite for breakfast, I recommend Brueggers on Monroe.

2.5 stars?!?! Service, cleanliness, and quality are a 5 out of 5 for me every time!!
(5)
Barbara H.
Today they only get 2.5 stars because they hardly had anything and a lot of them were distorted and they didn't even offer a discount on them! Thoroughly disappointed. Mainly because the girl taking our order could give a crap

The bagels are good, the service is okay, and the coffee is blazing hot. Seriously, leave the lid off for a good 9 hours...and maybe your coffee will be drinkable. I don't know how the employees hand you the cup (without the heat sleeve) without burning their fingers off. Pro tip: grab a heat sleeve before you order. The restaurant itself is clean, and there is a decent amount of parking.

Always consistent. Staff clearly never wants to be there but the food is just like any brueggers you have ever been to. I like it

I love this place. I come here almost every weekend for my breakfast. I especially love the western breakfast Bagel. The service is also very efficient, especially when they are dealing with hordes of hungry breakfast customers. They have a great range of bagels and sandwich options, so there is definitely something for everyone, young and old. They also make their bagels fresh at the store so you know is fresh. If you want something filling and yummy I suggest visiting this place. You'll be hooked.

Food that is prepared quickly and consistently. Staff that is friendly and efficient. And coffee that is hot and fresh. What more could you ask for breakfast on the go. My quibble: this Brueggers consistently undercooks the bagels. They would have gotten 4 stars for crispy crust (which is how bagels should be cooked).

Once and done. Warn coffee precooked food, bagels were not really toasted, latte machine broken Clean and friendly

Clean, friendly staff, tables outside on the patio. Nice selection of freshly baked bagels to choose from. They offer breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches including pannini's. Coffee, soft drinks, tea, juices, etc... We ordered two Asiago Parmesan bagels one with bacon, egg and cheese and the other with cream cheese. They were so fresh. We did not care for the Parmesan sprinkled on top of the bagel with what tasted like rosemary or basil as well. The seasoning gave the bagel a weird taste. Funky taste for sure. Next time we will try a different type of bagel but normally this is my favorite. Prices were average. The bagels were so fresh though that I would recommend giving them a try just be careful as to which one you decide on. Service was a tad slow but friendly.

The collective response of two staff plus a manager (sic) put the DUH in Flo-ri-duh. Here's part of the exchange, customer to employees: "I'd like the bagel sandwich open-face, with the tomato and cheese on top." "So you want it in two pieces?(puzzled pause) I'll have to call the manager." Manager: "Open face means the bagels don't go together, right? Do you still want the same flavor bagel?" Then, uh-O, two customers next on line each wanted a Western Bagel sandwich. "Sorry, we only have enough vegetables for one bagel." "Do you (the second customer) still want it but without the vegetables?" arrrgggh Can't see how they'll stay in business. Coffee was just dark water with a price,. Unbelievable. Drive past this mess until some viable chain takes over the location.
