Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I like the pizza on the beach better

What is there to say about this place that hasn't been noted about the other locations? For one, this location is worlds different than the others. FAR larger, it looks like any other family dining estabilshment with a bunch of flatscreens and old school Pittsburg-esque decor, while the beach location is one long bar in a tiny overcrowded room. The pizza is good. It's not fantastic, but it's good. And the sandwiches... well they are just something I really look forward to. The Pittsburger and Pastrami are my favorites. They are meaty, and savory... and I think you're in for a treat if you decide to add an egg to either one of them. I havn't had the same problems as other people here. the fries are hot and plentiful. The slaw isn't the most awe inspiring... but i'm not looking for gourmet here. I'm looking for a damn good sammich. I can't comment on the bunch of other selections, because its just not what I come here for. Every time I've been to this location, the service has been kind and quick. I dont have any complaints about it. period. The food is inexpensive, filling, and when the brew is flowing, you'd be hard pressed not to have a good time.

Went with some friends. We ordered 2 pies. They were both much better than I had expected. No complaints overall.
(4)Jamie C.
I came here a few times and had a salad and pizza. The food was mediocre and the service was ok. Not a big fan, but better then some other places.
(3)Kelly W.
My boyfriend and I came here based on fellow yelper reviews. We were not disappointed! We came on a Tuesday night and, as luck would have it, it was Family Pizza Night (also on Thursdays). We got a large pizza with 3 toppings plus sodas for $16.99. The pizza was very tasty, and coming from me that is a great compliment, since I am very particular about my pizza. Was worth the drive from our vacation condo in Weston to Sunrise.

um... so... disappointing. why were they featured on the travel channel again? maybe the original place is better. i was completely turned off by the horrible service. i understand it's lunch time on a weekday, but we were sitting there for a good 15 min before our horrible waitress came to take our order (even after SIGNALLING and waving to her). what the heck kind of serive is that? their "famous" slaw burger was just so so. the slaw was good, but the meat was dry. never coming back here again. if you're in the area, go down the street to Jack's BBQ instead!

the one on the beach in fort lauderdale is so much better. i don't know why this differs so much as far as quality goes but it almost feels like an entirely different restaurant. the sandwiches don't taste as good.... and i found a huge, pube-like hair in the last slice of pizza after my entire party and i had nearly finished the whole thing. that was fun.

I have been to the Fort Lauderdale beach and Oakland Park Blvd locations. This one on University Drive is my least favorite. HOWEVER, I must note that we went on New Year's Day around 11am when the place opened. I have a feeling that the employees were not up to par, perhaps thanks to NYE festivities. But i feel that is no excuse. When we arrived, my party of three were the only customers and we were seated in the next room at a booth on the University side, in full view of the line cooks but across the room. We ordered promptly. Two of us got the exact same Pittsburger, with egg and carmelized onion added. The other got a sandwich of some sort. Once our food was served, we had a few problems but the waitress had inexplicably disappeared. Only one other party had been seated since our arrival so that couldn't be it. When I went to eat my Pittsburger, there was no egg! How could that be when the two ordered were exactly the same? It took at least 7-8 minutes to get the waitress back so that my burger could be fixed. It looked like they made a new one but I think they took the ingredients out and just made a new sandwich. Fine but not as hot as I like it and I think they forgot to season the cole slaw or something because it was bit bland. Then I had tomatoes that were cut from the end and had that hard green part from the center that you're supposed to cut out. So I had to wait while she got new slices. I will say that the bread was just as fluffy, thick and delicious as the other times I have had the burger so at least that was okay. I would go back to see if this was a new year fluke but I don't live in the area so I doubt that will happen. Will stick to beach location. I think it's something about the grill that makes it so good. Plus the guy cooking it has been there forever so you know he knows what he is doing!
(3)Scott S.
Their sandwiches are amazing. If you get the pittsburger be sure to ask them to put egg on it. The only downside is I am always stuffed after I leave.

I've only been here twice and the first time I went I was a vegetarian, so my sandwich wasn't very exciting. I was looking forward to my second visit because now I know salami makes everything better. I went with a group of friends a few weeks ago and was sorely disappointed. Worst service ever. Granted, I was in a party of eight, but there was another large party near us who had a different waitress and they seemed to be getting their food just fine. We waited a good half hour to even order our food and then it took for-ev-er to come out. Two of my dining companions ordered a slice of pizza each and the rest of us ordered the famous Primanti sandwiches. These are cold sandwiches, people. Bread, meat, a handful of French fries, and a scoop of coleslaw. Experience tells us that it should take no more than 10 minutes to throw together a few of these sandwiches, and experience also tells us that two single slices of pizza should take maybe a minute cut from a pie and put on plates. We waited about 45 minutes for our sandwiches and the two people who ordered single pizza slices waited for an HOUR. The waitress unapologetically told us that there was a mix-up in the kitchen and one side wasn't talking to the other side and that was why the pizza took so long, but the explanation didn't make sense and the waitress really didn't seem to care. On top of all that, salami could barely save my sandwich. How can something with salami and fries be bland? I don't understand. I'm so confused. Life stopped making sense. Only a Publix Italian sub can help me get my life back in order and recover from this experience.

My fiance and I decided to try this place last night on a whim. We've driven by it many times since it opened and figured "what the heck". Well needless to say, we were pretty disappointed. The food wasn't that great and the service was a bit on the slow side. My entree, the pan fried raviolis with olive oil and garlic sauce, was totally lacking in the "sauce" department. It was dry and the veggies were overly greasy. You also could not taste the garlic at all. My fiance tried the fried egg sandwich. He asked for his fries on the side, and when he picked up a fry to eat, he pulled a hair off of it. I know "hair happens" in cooking, but for a first visit to this place, it was a bad first visit. The waitress was very nice about it, and apologised, and took his sandwich off of the bill. Overall, we were not too thrilled with the place. It's highly unlikely that we'll eat there again.

I had some memory of once eating in Primanti's Oakland Pk. Blvd. location. I remembered it as "good". Maybe it was or maybe I was drunk at the time...or starving or ??? I felt like having some pasta and sausage and pulled into Sunrise location. The salad was a small portion of fresh, tasty veggies. The packaged blue cheese dressing ruined it. Me: the big portion of baked penne with well done sausage. Nothing big about the portion. Over cooked, mushy pasta. They gave me another plate of it. A bit better, but I still needed a spoon as tasteless penne fell apart. Little cheese, hardly baked. Tomato sauce worst ever. No taste or texture. Most tomato juices better. If they use it on their pizza, that must be garbage. They made the one, sliced in two, sausage well done as I asked for. That was tasty but didn't make up for tomato-water sauce on it. She: Spaghetti with meatballs. Sauce red water again. Meatballs flavorless, and "loose". No attention to food quality, prep or presentation. Not even as good as a frozen Italian style dinner from Publix. Will be among the top worst restaurant meals in my personal history. I gave it one star as Yelp required me to give Primanti's a rating. Otherwise it would not have gotten the star.
(1)Jai K.
Not sure what the buzz is all about (Travel Channel, etc). The corned beef and pastrami sandwiches we've ordered were prepared fast, BUT, they are loaded with ton of Cole slaw, a few fries, few tiny slices of meat on thick sliced bread. The bread was good, dont get me wrong, as it is supposedly baked in house, but the sandwich in general was below average. May be it is because i came in expecting something that i shouldn't have been.
(2)Brian W.
Expected more from a sort of 'famous' place. So so food, but it is much cleaner than the Fort Lauderdale beach restaurant.
(2)Michael S.
I tried some pizza take-out from here. I really wanted to try a "famous" sandwich, but oh well. The pizza was decent, it kind weirder me out that they used balls of sausage. Also the sausage has a super sweet taste to it. Besides this, the cheese pizza was pretty good. It isn't a favorite spot of mine, but i would probably go back and check out other food.
(3)Michele M.
This is a restaurant which originated in Pittsburgh, PA. It's a good place to watch the Steelers play-it has several t.v.'s, lots of seats, and a nice, casual bar area. They are known for their all in one sandwiches. The sandwiches include whatever meat you order, cabbage, and french fries all packed in between two hearty pieces of Italian bread. My personal favorite is the Pittsburgher which is a burger. I love it with mayo and hot sauce. I have tried other dishes, such as the hoagies, pasta dishes, salads, and pizza, and I have not been disappointed. The service is generally quick and friendly. They have specials nightly. They are very family friendly.
(4)Craig C.
As with others, I had seen Pimanti's on TV shows. I ordered the Pitts-Burger, the flavors were awesome! Nothing like eating the usual burger platter all at once. If I lived in the area, I would be here regularly!
(5)Marc S.
So this place has been on pretty much all the travel channel shows, well the one in Pittsburgh. So they decided to have make one in Florida which was weird. So i freaked when I saw this place cause of it's popularity on the travel ch. Went in and it was empty. I ordered the pits burger sandwich, cause it was their popular sandwich. When I got the sandwich i didn't even know if I had meat inside, cause all I could see was the cole slaw and fries. When you bite into a primanti brothers sandwich, you are going to taste nothing but coleslaw and fries. I've tried their other sandwiches to see if i could taste the difference, but I can only taste the coleslaw. Yeah it's a new experience from the normal sandwich place, but i feel its pretty much average. Yeah, go and try it out. What have you got to lose? They had a good selection of typical bar foods at a reasonable price and daily drink specials. So if a game is on and your tired of Hooters try this place out, or if you love hooters there's one right down the street.
(3)Alex B.
Had the signature sandwich, corned beef with the slaw on top. Pretty nice at a good price for lunch. Good service.
(4)Mitchell M.
I love the two other Primanti's in South Florida. The Beach location is a great divey Pizza joint and Oakland Park location is very good. However this location was a miss and I will definately not be back. Pizza was returned as the soggy whittled crust was not crust, it was mush. Sauce was a mixture of no flavor canned tomatoes mixed with tomato sauce and a lot of paste, no spices.Sent back pizza to be cooked further. Pizza crust seemed either to be store bought or cardbboard even though I know it was not. Good fresh salad, blase balsamic vinaigrette. Great fries, good chili. Overall disappointment because I like Primanti's other restaurants.
(2)Caroline D.
Knowing that they originated in Pittsburgh, PA. and have been featured on the Food Network; I knew I needed to try this place out. This is a family style restaurant. It's a great local spot to go to when you feel for casual dining. Their happy hour ends at 7pm on weekdays but beers/drinks are inexpensive and well worth it.The pizza here is great and whenever I'm in the mood for NY style pizza; this is where I go. Their chili's okay and so are their wings. The waiters/waitresses are nice and even when it's busy, I've never had to wait too long to be seated. The restaurant is a decent size and so is their bar.You can definitely watch sports games here with family and friends in this laid back atmosphere. Parking isn't an issue as this location happens to be in a shopping center with parking in front and to the side of the restaurant. I will be back to try out their sandwiches, which they are well known for.
(5)Tobias S.
Great sandwich that originated in Pittsburgh PA. Fantastic service, cold beer, and great Pizza. Also a nice place to take the family for dinner or watch a game with some friends. Love this place!
(4)Daniel S.
A bit upset that they only have a 3 star rating the service was awesome the prices are great the sandwiches are one of a kind like only they can make. Look forward to many more sandwiches.
(4)Prad B.
We had been watching the Food Channel on how good the food is here. We ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich with grilled onions and fries as well as the cod fish sandwich with fries and a side of cole slaw. The portions were generous, filling, and full of flavor. The service was also very good. Definitely worth the drive and definitely coming back for more.
(4)Megan K.
Great service, but come here only for pizza, no sandwiches! The Boardwalk fries were not fully cooked. Like I said, come here for the pizza and drinks!
(2)Andrew V.
Black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow... Long live the #412 in the #954! This location makes me feel like I'm back in Pittsburgh, but with 80 degree weather, palm trees and zero yinzers talking about Steelers football. I like this location because every time I've been here the service has been great. The location has a big bar area as well as a nice dining area as well. As a Pittsburgher, or "yinzer", I can tell you that their "almost famous" sandwiches are delicious. Sandwich with cole slaw and French fries on it? Give it to me now! The Pittsburger lately has been my go-to. In Pittsburgh they don't sell anything else but these sandwiches (unless times have changed since I moved) so I don't know about any of the other food items. I will say I've tried the fried pickles and they were great. Everyone loves fried pickles though, right? There is local sports photos of famous Pittsburgh athletes which is cool. The food always comes out quickly, I devour it and am full for days. I always leave happy, full, and a little less homesick.

I'm not sure why there so many negative reviews.. Primanti's offers sandwiches, pizzas, pastas and other Italian dishes. They are primarily known for their huge sandwiches and delicious pizza. I love the corned beef & cheese sandwich. The sandwich is topped with a tomato, coleslaw & French fries. By request, you can add raw or cooked onions. The sandwich is already huge, so I ask for the French fries on the side. The sandwich is delicious and I love the flavors of this sandwich. The corned beef & cheese seem freshly sliced. The coleslaw isn't watery. The overall combination of this sandwich is great. Whenever I order pizza, I order it by the slice because I like my pizza well done but not burnt. The pizza slice is always huge, and I could probably stop after my 1st slice but of course I don't. I should probably venture out and try other things on their menu but I typically stick to the corned beef sandwich or slices of pizza. They do offer a nice selection of lunch specials during the week. They also have a full bar, and it seems like they offer drink specials all the time. They have a bunch of booths and tables and not to mention televisions. The service is always good. And the food is always great, which makes everything better.
(4)Dwayne P.
Great pizza and service. Came in late and definitely not expecting quality service but got that as well as good pizza. Cheers
(4)I O.
Superb! The double egg and cheese is what I had and boy is this sandwich serious! Needless to say I finished it. Seeing this on the food network I had to try a sandwich. The bread was so fresh, eggs were done just right with alright amount of melted cheese. The flavor of the coleslaw was excellent just the right amount of vinegar. Top it off with fries and you've got one serious sandwich! No need for appetizers I'm telling you this $5.99 to $6.99 sandwich is bang for your buck hunger satisfaction at its finest. Yes service was good and wash it down with a Raspberry tea.
(5)Zankza V.
for it's class of restaurant... the food is good, as is the service. I would give it 5 stars but the place could use a little updating and the bathroom needs gutted and rebuilt!
(4)Annie N.
Primanti Brothers are the famous sandwich's that are gigantic with the fries on the sandwich. They also have pizza, salad and pasta. My parents took me here about a year ago and every time I visit them, we have to come here. It is so good! We went for lunch because they have great lunch prices. I got the pizza with salad. The pizza slice was gigantic and it came with a side salad and a drink. It is all under 8 dollars for lunch. Great deal. On certain nights they have specials. We have been before for the pizza special, which I believe was a large pizza with 3 toppings. The only think negative I could say is that the pizza could be cooked a little longer, the cheese usually falls off if you pick it up but it is still tasty! I think one of my favorite things, is the GIGANTIC garlic rolls. They come I believe 6 to an order and they are covered in garlic. So delicious you can not put them down! This is a great place to take a large group or a bunch of kids. Even a nice pizza dinner with your spouse, its great. I cant wait to visit mom and dad so we can go again.
(5)Eli C.
Came here unplanned on a Friday night around 10:30 PM for a quick bite. It was my first time here and I've never heard of the place before but apparently they have other chains within the county too. We ordered their best seller which is the pizza ($11.79 for the 14" Cheese + $1.59 for pepperoni on one side + $0.80 for a little bit of jalapeño in a small side bowl). It came out cooked fresh and tasted like what you expect pizza to taste like; definitely more flavorful than your typical take-out/delivery pizza. I also ordered their second best-seller, The Pitts-Burgher ($6.79) sandwich, to-go. The sandwich was very hearty and can fill up two people. It contains fries inside the sandwich which I was not used to eating like so, so it wasn't my type of sandwich to want to eat again. Service was good. The place looked empty except for maybe two other tables there. There are a number of TVs playing sports, so if you want to watch a game, this looks like a nice ambient place to do it.
(4)Maria D.
The Pizza is Delicious!! That Sauce is Awesome and the sandwiches are Oooh so good...Better come hungry tho...or bring someone to share it with ;)
(5)Damon D.
Service was great tonight. I wish they would stop trying to seat us in the narrow booths by the bar, though. The pizza was so-so. I have to say that consistency is a real issue. Sometimes the dough lacks seasoning and other times the crust just isn't crispy. Sometimes they don't get either right. Lately it's been more miss than hit.
(3)Josie W.
I've seen the original location on the Travel Channel/Food Network so many times so I was excited to see there are 3 locations in Florida. This one was the closest to us and it did not disappoint. The restaurant was clean and the staff are very friendly and there is a good atmosphere here. Our waitress, Anne, was very friendly and patient with us since we didn't know what we wanted to order. The food is good; some items were kind of plain but we had a good time and enjoyed what we ate. Of course I had to order The Pitts-burger (I thought the burger needed some more seasoning though). The cannoli was very good. The prices were reasonable. Just an FYI, the menu on their website doesn't have even half of what they actually serve.
(4)Greg M.
If you are looking for Primanti Sandwiches, this is it! FIVE STARS. Now if you wander in here, then you might not appreciate the sandwiches. The pizza is great if not pricy, but the mainstay is the towering sandwiches. Our server was great, kind, kept checking on us, it was busy, but not crowded on a Sat night. Stop, try the big sandwich (The #2), and let me know what you think!
(5)Juan B.
We gave it a try and we were not disappointed with the sandwiches (Blackened Mahi Mahi and Key West Chicken Breast) had great flavor, good size large but not thick. The fried mozarella and marinara sauce were good. Wouldnt really order a dessert next time. Next time we will try their pizza.
(4)Matthew H.
Had pastrami primati sandwich with everything on it! It was decent. Great price for lunch. Good service. Would defiantly recommend friends and family for a economy priced lunch. Have not tried their pizza yet.
(3)Adam S.
I thought that all the food that I tried here was pretty average. I have never been to the original in Pittsburgh so I don't have that as a baseline. I had their roast beef sandwich and a few bites of a pizza slice. The bread was decent. There was way too much slaw on the sandwich. The novelty of having fries on the sandwich was kind of interesting, but it didn't really do much to move the needle in terms of the overall quality of the food. The pizza was very average. Not bad, but not anything fantastic either. Prices and service are both good. The food is fine. Definitely not bad or anything. Just not a place I would rush back to.
(3)Lauren B.
Being very familiar with the original restaurants up north I consider this place a slice of Pittsburgh memories. The sandwiches are on point both authentically and taste wise. I recommend the turkey sandwich, pizza, and also the Pasta Primanti with pink sauce. The only downside of this place is the quality of ingredients, many things on the menu are frozen or come from a box. Luckily the end result is still very appetizing but you do get what you pay for. In this case, for the pricing they have, everything is a great deal.
(4)James C.
This is my first visit at this restaurant which have to say I was hesitant to give my consent to because the other restaurant on Oakland park Blvd, I had a really bad experience and vowed not to return to any of them...Well, I was surprised and was very happy with both the food and the experience at this location. I would give this place 4 stars, but not the one on Oakland Park blvd, Mmmm one star...
(4)Lisa G.
This is my first time here. Highly recommended by a good friend . Primantis does not disappoint. Our server, bartender Christina is one of a kind and created a vodka version skinny colada just for me. Its outstanding.
(4)Allison S.
Primanti Brothers have the best pizza in the area. Nice chewy, crispy crusts, awesome tomato sauce full of chunks of tomato, good balance of ingredients. Nothing fancy here - totally standard pies with totally standard topping choices (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms etc - nothing green!). I also like their Garden Salad. I wish I could say the same about the rest of their menu, but I would give anything else just two stars. The pasta dishes are a bit tired, the sandwiches lack flavour, the wings are dull. But by all means, come for the pizza, it's terrific!!!
(4)Robert W.
Another wonderful dinner at Primanti Brothers. We had a date night after seeing Wicked in Miami. Thursday night always is good with the Pizza Deal. Extra Large Pizza with 3 toppings (Italian sausage, Bacon, and Pepperoni) and a Pitcher of soda only $17.49. We added the Garlic rolls that were absolutely fabulous loade with lots of garlic and olive oil. While we were waiting our waitress informed us that they used the wrong sausage (crumbled) on our pie and told us we can have the pie and were also making a second one the right way and had it boxed and wrapped to take home. That is what I call top service. Our waitress Lesley was not only adorable but she was excellent in every way. We will certainly be back again and again..As before they Also has many large screen TV's playing different sports events at the same time.
(5)Jannine A.
We ordered a pastrami and corned beef sandwich and they were good. If you are looking for a good place to grab something quick and dont want to spend a lot of money this is the place. Maybe the presentation of the food is not the best but taste is great I would come again if i am near by
(4)Kaitlyn B.
Coming from a true Pittsburgher here... Love this place. I was hesitant at first but they definitely did the Pittsburgh staple justice. You must order the "Pittsburger" and don't opt out of the fries and coleslaw... that's the best part. The establishment is clean and the service was friendly. They made this girl feel right at home.
(5)Henry M.
Good sandwiches seem a little lean on the meats but still a good meal. Kids meal has several options. Very kid friendly!
(4)Phuoc L.
Only been here on family pizza nights. We really enjoy the pizza and service is always friendly
(5)Alex C.
The Capicola Sandwich is my favorite sandwich during my one year deployment it's one of the things I missed most from home, they also have a great happy hour and good pizza
(4)Lenny F.
Drove past this place many times. Saw the Pittsburgh resturant on the food network program dinners drive ins and dives. Sandwiches come with fries and cole slaw on the sandwich, I asked for the fries separately. Ordered pastrami was good however the taste of the cole slaw over powered the meat that if it were corned beef I would not have know. Also did not taste the cheese. Still was tasty sandwich. Good value too. Service was actually good our waitress never let my empty soda cup sit too long before refills. My wife had cheese steak said was good. I will come back to try pizza maybe other menu items not stacked with slaw and fries.
(4)Claire S.
This place is ok, has kind of like a diner vibe. Had an italian sammie, hubby had the roast beef sammie--they are big sammies! Pretty good, just not very exciting. Got pizza for the LO and he loved it but I would def go w/ the sammies here the pizza is not the answer lol.
(3)Morgan C.
Wow a staple! Famous for its sandwiches huge and w fries and awesome pizza, I had their pizza slice cheese it was so awesome hummn. Then had their meatball sub wow great real juicy meatballs. Also we ordered the chicken parmesan a class wow. The tomato sauce is perfect. So is their crust and sauce on the pizza. Extensive menu with all the greats . Good service too.
(4)Michael S.
I must say after hearing so much about this place and having had a slice from the FTL beach location I couldn't wait to go here. My daughter and I stepped inside this location and I wasn't really impressed with the food. the wait staff seemed pleasant though. but this is not by far the best pizza I have had. I would venture down to North Miami and enjoy a slice of Steve's Pizza before I go to this location again.
(2)Sloania H.
If you only get one thing try their pulled pork potato skins they are good! I ordered a burger and it was ok not bad but not great. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I've had their chicken parm before and its good. Best French fries around.
(3)Rick S.
Great family night pizza on Tuesdays. Garlic knots are great and the size of your head . Reasonably priced and good service. Will b going back
(4)Don S.
Try the cap egg and cheese
(4)Jasmine S.
Went there for the first time with my boyfriend because it was close to our house. We got the mezzaluna fried mozzarella, a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni and the baked ziti dinner as well as an order of garlic bread. The food was bad. The ziti tasted like dirty dish water the garlic bread was huge but drenched in cold oil the pizza was big but tasteless and dry (probably really old slices). The place smells like bleach and old mop water. Definitely won't be going back. On a plus side the staff was super nice and the beer was pretty cheap.
(1)Michelle B.
I strictly come here for their tuna fish sandwich that consists of fresh Italian bread, perfectly sized french fries, cole slaw, tomatoes and provolone cheese......YUMMMMYYY. I hear other sandwiches are good too, but I'm currently in the middle of my love affair with the tuna sandwich, so I don't have eyes for anything else. I can't say much about the pizza, since everyone I've come here with has ordered a sandwich. Sooo, I suggest you go with that first, and then try their pizza and let me know about it. Also, their service has always been good every time we've gone. Prompt and friendly. In summary, this reviews ratings is based on the tuna sandwich and their service. Once my aforementioned affair sizzles down, I will come back with more food options. Til then, tuna sandwich.

I stopped back here on a recent Sunday with a friend who lives in nearby Plantation. There were probably 4 or 5 booths with people in them and 1 guy at the bar when we arrived at about 2 p.m. Within a few moments of arriving, the bartender, Patty, was there asking what we needed. I asked for a Coke and a menu, a few moments later I explained what I wanted (one of their ham, egg and cheese "almost famous" sandwiches with the fries and the slaw in with the sandwich, between the two slices of bread). Within about 4 or 5 minutes at most, there was Patty with our food, hot off the grill and she was quick with a refill of our beverage as well. ESPN and other programming was showing on several screens around the bar and in other areas of the restaurant (there were no games of any kind being broadcast on this day), and they're happy to give the remote controls to the customers if you'd rather watch something other than what they had on. When I was here, I paid full menu prices for everything, and for the sandwich with slaw & fries and a Coke, the bill was just over $8 for everything (there was actually so much slaw and fries packed in there that I ended up polishing them off with a fork after I'd eaten the sandwich). I also nearly took home one of their pizza slices for later, as their pizza is supposed to be excellent and a large slice is less than $3. If you come here through the week or during game times, they have plenty of drink, food, lunch and happy hour specials advertised. Also, know that even with Primanti Brothers being a Pittsburgh institution and a restaurant that has it's roots in that city, I didn't find the Pittsburgh sports memorabilia overbearing. One feature I saw on this day that I hadn't noticed before is that they have a walk up takeout window at the back of the store, and about 4 parking spaces that are reserved for takeout customers only.

This place was clean and our waitress was very helpful and was there to check on us at all times! So for service this place is great!! We ordered a couple of sandwiches and they were very good! I was told that the pizza is great but we did not have it! The best thing we had which was amazing was the cannoli!!! You must try it!! All in all it was a great place to chill have some good food and drinks!!

I go there on "family night" (Tuesday or Thursday) for the pizza and a pitcher of beer. Its always good times.
(4)Keith B.
So my friend can't stop yappin about the sandwich here. Enough already. ;) So I asked him and the families to go here one Friday night. Relatively empty (it was 5), and it's a large place inside, so I wasn't quite sure. Well the litmus test is whether I am thinking about the sandwich the next day, and the answer, yes I am. So you see the draw here is the sandwich. Coming on some white Italian bread (no one said this was a health choice), it came stacked with vinegar based cole slaw, french fries, we opted for grilled onions (no charge) and a fried egg. You have many choices for your base, but we opted for a grilled ham and cheese. Damnnn....this was good. Pretty decent size sandwich too for around $7. We also ordered a pizza for the kids....very reasonable in price it was just ok....the pizza obviously is not the draw here. But it was fine. What also stood out was the wait staff. Just about every single one was so polite. Our waitress even reached into her coin purse to give the kids a quarter to go buy something from the toy machines up front. Seriously, who does that??? lol She was super friendly and made the experience that much better. Enjoyed it!!

I used to live in Fort Lauderdale Beach so I've only been to that location. The Pittsburger has always been one of my favorite sandwiches. The pizzas by the slice usually solved my mid-night beer hop cravings for greasy food. We came here after a horrible dinning experience at another place close by and I was still feeling hungry. I think this might be the only Primanti location in S FL where they have a full bar. We sat at the bar and ordered my favorite Pittsburger with a draft beer. I have not had that for a while but I know its not as good as the other location. Service at the bar was so so...where our bartender who was friendly, but she was not very attentive. The only time I saw her faced me was when I placed the order and when I asked for the check. The food was not great but still okay. After my visit here I am looking forward to visit the original location by the beach.

This location is definitely a disappointment when it comes to the Primantis sandwich. We stopped by on a trip down to Miami and were so excited to get some primantis since it had been a while since we had it up in PA. When we were seated, I felt like I was in a dennys. I took a look at the limited sandwich menu and wondered where the rest of it was. When I asked about the cheese steak, they tried to sell me a philly style one and said that they can make it like the one in the strip district, so I was excited. Bring your own redhot... When the food came out, I asked where the hot sauce was and she pointed at the wing sauce that was on the table and said that was all they had, which was a HUGE disappointment. After I took the first bite, I was extremely disappointed yet again.... It tasted like a hamburger and not the one I was used to in any of the Pittsburgh locations. I took a look at the meat that they put in it and it looked like hamburger as well. I definitely won't be going back to this location.
(2)Christopher B.
Excellent food and great service! I'm originally from Pittsburgh and this location is comparable to any locations in the Pittsburgh area!
(5)Barb B.
This place is great! Awesome pizza, quick friendly service, cheap prices and the best most garlicky garlic bread. Tuesday nights the pizza and a pitcher of soda is only like $17. Definitely enough for at least 5 people and always delicious. Great for families too, seems kid friendly as they support alot of the local school sports teams. Dee-lish!
(4)Chris W.
Went here for.lunch today with a few co-workers and got one of their famous sandwiches. The cappicola and cheese was very good. The fries and cole slaw complimented the meat and cheese perfectly -- all served on fresh Italian bread. You really get your money's worth! Their sandwich was piled 4 inches high with all the goodies! For a party of 8, we were taken care of well, and there wasn't a wait at all to get a seat on a Friday afternoon.
(4)Jordanna E.
This is a quick answer to the question... MOM, What's for dinner? It's cheap and cheerful. We love the Bruschetta appetizer and we switch up entrees often. The pizzas are huge, and the kids love it. Jenn is our FAVORITE server..and when she is not there, service can be ok to terrible..but she is AMAZING. I am happy it is so close we can walk there and walk home!
(4)Ed F.
The thing that makes this place is it's bread. One of my favorite sandwiches is the Pittsburger, a thick, juicy burger fried on a griddle old school, on the best bread (not a bun), with lettuce, tomato, slaw, and a handful of delicious french fries smashed onto the top, under the bread. Makes a great lunch or dinner. Their pizza is great, too -- excellent crust, fresh toppings, and delicious sauce. If you are getting a pasta dish, order a half dozen of their garlic rolls. They are enormous, VERY garlicky, and just make you moan when you bite into them. TV's everywhere, so great place to watch a game.
(4)Jo D.
I'd heard great reviews about the restaurant in Pittsburg and was excited to find a Primanti Brothers in South Florida. The waitresses were nice and very attentive. The wings were tasty, but small in size. The sandwiches were tall, but the amount of meat was minimal. I had a corned beef with cheese and there were plenty of fries and cole slaw but only three thin slices of meat. The beef was tasty, but not enough to be called a corned beef and cheese. There was a note on the menu that you could get extra meat if you paid more. I would have preferred to pay more and get a full-sized corned beef sandwich. I didn't realize that a regular sandwich required "extra meat".
(3)Bob J.
Get a sandwich they're amazing. I prefer the location across from the beach, it's smaller and feels more authentic. The food was very good and cheap enough that I would be a regular if I lived in the area. I decided to try double meat on my sandwich, big mistake. There is already enough meat and other stuff, fries and slaw, that make the sandwich a challenge to eat. It comes with more than enough meat, making it double just made it a little harder to eat, it was still an amazing sandwich. If you have never tried one you must go. Their Pittsburg locations are frequently on the food network, so you know it's worth a shot.

Having eaten at the Oakland Park Blvd Location this was on my way home last night so myself and a couple of friends stopped by for a quick bite. Understand prices are very inexpensive for whatever you get so the review is based on a bar pizza type establishment with sandwiches. Basket of wings ordered. Really not good at all dry smothered in hot sauce forgot the celery and blue cheese. Pizza had a couple of single slices which were pretty tasty but warmed up and not completely warm $2.95 per slice 3 Sandwiches ordered. A Chicken parm. Small & dry very little marinara. A Roast beef with cheese (HOT) and a pastrami. Both the Roast beef & pastrami were with dried out meat, smothered in dry Cole slaw with greasy French fries thrown on top with 1 small piece of tomato. Beer was cold and service was good but man was this a disappointment.

This is a late entry but I just need to point a few things out since this was the second time I've given this place a shot. The service: Extremely slow for what it is! The staff: Not the friendliest! The food: Big disappointment! Need I say more?!?

There has been a big change in the last 2 months in the quality of the food and service here. And it is not a good change. We used to go here at least once every 2 weeks, usually every 5 days or so. And had been very happy as previously reviewed. The salads are still big and fresh but that is the only thing that has remained good. In the past 2 months, we have had to ask for bread each time (despite ordering an entree). The last time I asked we got 4 heels of bread. Really. And the server seemed irritated that we asked. The baked penne was simply previously overcooked penne, put into a dish, covered with shredded cheese and MICROWAVED until it melted. The description of the oven baking it slowly to get golden brown did not happen. Tasteless sauce completed the dish. If it had happened once, would not mention it, but it happened 4 weeks in a row. Pizza slices that were crisp in the past were barely warmed and i sent back. Also happened a few weeks in a row. Servers seem overwhelmed, even when not that busy. However, the plain cheese pizza to go is still the best deal and pretty good. Just don't go inside. Not sure what happened, but we all agreed it was no longer worth the money. I did send a letter to corporate since it was such a dramatic change, but no response. Another one bites the dust!
(2)Francie R.
not what I had expected! the sandwich was good but not great. I wanted the sandwich I had seen on the travel channel show a while ago with fries and slaw, so I got the turkey breast sandwich. the slaw was very tasty but I think the Italian dressing used to season was all I could taste on the sandwich. I was kinda disappointed, but prolly had high expectations because of seeing it on the TV.
(2)Jennifer N.
Great place to bring the kids. The food is always good, as well as the service.
(4)Jolyn C.
I ate here last Sunday night w/ my Mr. (2nd time eating here) and came to the following conclusion (for the 2nd time). The one on the beach is a million times better. Most everything about this Primanti's is different...from the mushrooms they use on their pizza to the "half moon mozzarella". What the s**t is that? The mozzarella STICKS by the beach are tits. And those half moon mozzarellas are the pits. Forgive me for being crude but there's simply no other way to explain it. Last time I got the primanti burger...meh - again much better at the other location on A1A. The coleslaw was good. This time we split a pizza. I wasnt terribly offended by it. Anyway, lets face it - even if you're not crazy about pizza you still eat it. "Who gives a bleep? It's a great band, it's a bad band, it's like pizza, baby. It's good no matter what. There's music in the air!" (Name that movie) A bonus would include: a full liquor bar (I just had a rootbeer that night but duly noted!) Also - we had a really personable server that evening :)
(2)Greg D.
If you're from PA like I am, you already know what to expect. Strangely, the employees don't. The waitress was surprised that I finished my Pittsburgher...seriously? That is a Terrible Towel-surrendering offense to not be able to finish a Primanti's. Anyway, the sandwich was a little less stellar than the Pittsburgh original, but I'm giving them an extra star for giving me free soft drinks when I sat at the bar. A very kind gesture for a non-drinker like myself.
(4)Michelle N.
We returned recently to try the pizza for the family night deal. You get an 18" pizza with 3 toppings and a pitcher of soda for $16.99. A good deal! The pizza was great! Huge, and could probably feed five people. The service was not so good. There never seems to be enough servers for the amount of people in the restaurant. The servers are friendly, but it seems to take forever to get anything because they have too much going on. The food here is almost always good, but the they really need to straighten out the service issues.
(3)Mike D.
I came here back in 2011 and had the Pastrami sandwich. It was plain with no taste, but ate it anyways cuz I was hungry. I came back here like 3 weeks ago and had the 1/2 sub lunch special meatball sub. I could not believe that the meatballs tasted plain as well with no taste. I mean do u use seasonings? I can buy a bag of meatballs frozen and simmer it in sauce and it would taste amazing. Bottom line, this place sucks. I guess that's why the parking lot is always empty. If u wanna do Primanti Bros.....go to the one at the beach.
(1)Marty B.
I am DONE with Primanti Brothers restaurant. Talk about disappointing food. This is my third time there and it will be my last barring a sudden fit of oh-hell-one-more-time itis. You may know the place either through actually dining at one of the three locations in Fort Lauderdale or at the original Pittsbrgh locales. You may recognize the name through having seen them on television on shows such as Triple-D or Food Nation. You may have just heard people talking. (I hear things.... I hear things) My friend Dave used to rave about their pizza when their lone location down here was a dive on Fort Lauderdale Beach. I was curious but never went in and tried it. Fast forward about ten years and there are now two more SoFla locations with one being less than a mile from my home. The first time I went in was about a year ago. I wanted to try one of the 'world famous' Primanti sandwiches. Bear with me if you already know, but this is a sandwich that the origianl primantis used to make for long-haul truckdrivers that would stop for a bite. They would make a sandwich that was able to be eaten while the guys were driving. It was one of a varied type of meats and had the addition of cole slaw and fried potatoes being wedged between the slices of fresh Italian-style bread. Sounds great huh? Hells yeah. Strike one. I tried "The Pitts-Burger" off their "Almost Famous Sandwiches" part of the menu. They boldly claim it is the "#2 best seller". No mention of number one. So yeah, the meat is a hamburger patty (that was dry and well done even though I asked for midwell), Cole Slaw (almost tasteless), French Fries (about an ounce and a half of old, luke-warm fries) and provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato that the kitchen was unable to screw up! Come on guys... no wilted lettuce and mushy tomato to make this thing a COMPLETE FAILURE? And oh yes, the bread they proudly proclaim to be so integral to the sandwich is the most obnoxious piece of yeast and flour since the Pillsbury Dough Boy. It is such a dense and dry piece of dreck and it starts breaking apart as you eat the sandwich. Surely this is not close to resembling the original sandwich from the 30's. They would have had some pissed off trucker with mustard and coleslaw in his lap come driving over their original Sandwich Cart and there would be no Primantis to assault my tastebuds now. Sorry, not a fan of this almost famous sandwich. So, a couple of months later, I decided to try their pizza. Jackie and I got a carryout pie. Strike two. Thin crust that couldn't stand up to the toppings. Tasteless sauce and few toppings. The cheese was good, but how can real cheese really not be? Even Little Caesar's Hot and Ready piece of garbage is more flavorful than this was.Admittedly, the LC H&R is partly flavored by hot cardboard, but still... So now, this past Wednesday. Jackie and I were in the mood for pasta. We normally go to this little hole-in-the-wall called Tower Pizza in Davie that has some of the best food I've had in a long time. Great Pizza, and pastas are awesome. BIG NOTE: Tower Pizza has the best cup of Pasta Fagiole Soup in South Florida. Should gone there. Primanti's is closer and we do like to try new places. (insert ominous b-movie music blurb here). I can barely fathom where to start complaining and the only good thing was the waitress. Jackie got Chicken Marsala, which is her go-to pasta dish. The chicken was dry and had an off-putting taste, but she was able to eat the pasta. I tried the "Big Bowl of Baked Penne Pasta". I guess I made the mistake here of imagining how I would present such a dish. I was expecting a wonderful rendition of Baked Ziti, but with Penne Pasta instead. You know, pasta folded with marinara, ricotta and mozzarella cheese and then baked to a perfect semi-solid yet moist gooey goodness? man, I'm getting hungry thinking of that dish. Remembering what I got instead kills those pangs though. their version? Penne Pasta in a bowl with a straight-from-the-can tasting tomato sauce. I say tomato sauce, because there were no other flavors suggesting they tried to make it a marinara sauce. Couldn't taste or see any added herbs or spices. And the weird/scary thing was that this sauce tasted like just plain tomato sauce that had been strained through some accursed devil-made colander that somehow allowed the tiny chunks of tomatoes through yet strained out what little flavor there was! So, this hellish diad was "baked" just long enough to melt an embarrassed layer of mozz on the top. Yes, I am anthropomorhizing the cheese. I would have been embarrassed to be hanging out with that weak pasta and I imagine this mozz was too. Oh, and to top it all off, the meal was accompanied by cold chunks of that same damn bread they use for their sandwiches and stone cold foil cups of butter. The good thing was the pleasing feeling of tearing the crap out of that bread while trying to butter it with that cold fat and then depositing the bread shards in the

I Really came here because I was enamored with the idea that they put french fries in your sandwich. I got the almost famous sandwich with ham and an egg and the coleslaw. I thought that the sandwich was rather bland and not very exciting even with the french fries. My kid got the kids meal for five bucks, but they forgot to give us a cookie and we forgot to ask for it. We also have the garlic rolls which were big but pretty dry and also not that exciting. On the plus side I thought his pizza was pretty tasty, I'd come here for pizza but probably not the sandwich.
(3)Katina R.
Friendly staff. Good food
(5)Linda R.
Ok pizza....but if you want really good pizza go to their ft lauderdale beach location, best pizza in town served there!!
(3)Cristina G.
I've been here twice. I heard about it on Man vs. Food, but the original one, not in Fl. When I found out we had it here I was really excited! Yes, I get excited over food! First thing I see when I get to the entrance: BEER SPECIAL They have a different special everyday. It was a huge glass for $2.50 I believe. We went at a time that was too late for lunch, but too early to be dinner, so the place was empty. As a result we got served really quickly. We ordered a small pizza and a philly cheesteak sandwich on the first visit and a pastrami "almost famous" the 2nd time. The Pizza- I loved it. The cheese, sauce, and dough tasted great. Its really hard to eff up a pizza, but this one gets zero complaints from me. The sandwich was a little sad. Usually when I picture a philly cheesesteak, it has an abundance of meat and oozing cheese. This one lacks on both. Its also a bit flavorless. I found myself having to dip it in honey mustard and sprinkle it with red pepper flakes to get anything from it. The "almost famous" was not what I expected. I kept picturing whats his names face as he was eating his on TV. My mouth salivated thinking of the combination of yummy goodness that was about to come my way. Finally, when it arrived and I took my first bite....nothing. I just got a huge mouthful of coleslaw and fries and they weren't even delicous. I was so bummed! I do plan on returning simply for the beer and pizza. Monday nights they also have a great family special, but its a bit out of my way to save a few bucks.
(3)Gaby S.
Deeply disappointed with the pizza and the service. Got the single slice with onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The pizza slice was so thin and placed too much cheese on it. The bottom of the slice was soggy from the cheese and the sauce. The onions were not cooked (not even slightly crisp from the heat of the oven) and they added diced tomatoes to the pizza. Who adds diced tomatoes, which are meant for salads, instead of sliced tomatoes? Not very NY style. The service was poor. The waitress barely gave us hr attention and even gave my mom a bit of attitude when she asked for silverware. Definitely not going back.
(1)Lamont G.
Food was bland but service was great.
(3)Hope Y.
I heard of Primantis from a friend and also saw them on a TV show about the 100 best sandwiches in the in the US, so of course I had to try it when I was in the area! I got a Roast beef and cheese sandwich and it was sooooooooo delicious !! I heard that you shouldn't take away any of the toppings even if you dont like them because all of the flavors blend together really well. I really hate tomatoes, but I decided so suck it up and eat them ( at least on the first bite anyway ) It was defiantly one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! All the flavors complimented each other very nicely and every ingredient was fresh! The staff was super friendly and the service was excellent! It is just a little sandwich place but it is easy to see why they have been around since 1934. Oh they are also open literally 24/7. I will be returning!
(5)Bao P.
I like this place. When out of towners come I always take them here. The food is good but I think i take them here more because it's unique with the fries inside the sandwich. Also because primanti bros have been on the food channel and travel channel. I really like the sicilian cheese steak. It's basically a cheese steak with italian seasonings. love, Bao Eat on my Friends!
(4)Eric B.
Great. Seemed to take forever for our pizza to arrive at our table, but worth every second. They had lots of toppings choices, but we just decided to get a cheese pizza at the end. I got an iced water to drink, and waited for the pizza to arrive. When it did, we all dug in. The pizza was excellent, the water was cold, overall, it was great.

This was our final stop at the end of our vacation and the best hands down i have been dying to try a Primanti Bros.sandwich for years, and boy i was not disappointed. If you have ever seen this shop on TV, or read about it in a magazine, they are not lying, and there is no hype,it is as good as they say. i had the pastrami sandwich it was great it actually had some meat in it, not like other Florida places that have a "pastrami" sandwich the fries were great and the Cole slaw was simple and Delicious. it all went great together on the italian bread. i also had a slice of pizza, crust was excellent thin and crunchy sauce and cheeses perfect. the garlic rolls are excellent and a great deal. the rest of my party had, eggplant sub, pitts-burger, meatball sub and fries by themselves no complaints from any one. our server Rachel was an absolute joy. great atmosphere, great service, and most definitely great food.

Went here because a friend wanted to go. I checked it on Yelp first, and decided the place couldn't be half bad with all the Travel Channel recommendations and Pittsburgh lore. The location is the former Plantation Shell's restaurant, newly remodeled. The walls are lined with flatscreen TVs, and there's plenty of seating, though some tables are a bit cramped. Would be a good place to watch a game or bring a family. I ordered the roast beef and cheese "almost famous" sandwich. These sandwiches are their claim to fame, stuffed with fries and coleslaw so you can eat it all together with one hand. There was a ton of fries stuffed into the sandwich, all of which were stone cold. Not very yummy. The roast beef was poor at best, thickly sliced and very chewy and the cheese was skimpy. Like others have said, the coleslaw is full of vinegar! It was doable for the first half, but by the end it was too much sour and I had to leave it. Read many raves on the fresh-baked bread, but it's a simple white bread with a thick crust - no different than your usual white bread from the grocery store. Friend had the cheesesteak hoagie. It was alright, not the heartiest portion of cheese or meat. They add marinara to it, so if you're a cheesesteak purist, don't be surprised. Go here if you're looking for bar style food in a sports bar/family atmosphere. I had higher expectations based on the rave reviews, but it's common bar food at best.

I'm starting to quit every fast food i can and have tried a few diners and this is like wow...the burgers are delicious! and so is the fries this Friday we will try the pizza.so far every employee seems nice when we went there we saw a bunch of looking teenagers huddled around talking it makes you kind of nervous because maybe they may be talking about you? the waiter who sat us down wasn't the one who took our orders the food got here in a reasonable time and i loved it this will be my new diner! I went on 11/16/2011 i just accidentally put my review in the Oakland park one..i never knew there was an Oakland park location so be careful guys!
(5)Matt S.
I went to the Ft. Lauderdale location with my wife and two adult daughters, on Friday Dec. 27. Primati Brothers was moderately busy. I was disappointed at the rude dude behind the bar when i asked if we ordered at the counter, or if a waitress would come by to take our order outside. It was like I was imposing on his chit chat with co-workers. After ordering, we were given luke warm beer, by a grouchy waiter, who never asked about our Holidays or even "good evening", he dam near slammed the drinks on the table and left. Two of us had slices of pizza, one had a cheeseburger and the last had an order of mozzerella sticks and an order of lasagna. All were delivered by the waitress with a loud clank of the dishes on the table and she was off. Only about 10% of the lasagna actually had meat in it, which was a big disappointment. The waitress did not ask if we needed or wanted anything else, we would have liked more drinks, but we were not going to further support bad customer service. Food was good (3) but the attituides and customer service was a 0, thus my 2 rating. Keep the chef, fire the rest and start over.

I'm a huge fan of Primanti Brothers in general, which is why I've given it four stars. However, this is my least favorite location of the three I've been to (here, Oakland Park Blvd, and the original Strip District location in Pittsburgh, PA). Most Primanti Bros locations have a distinct look and feel. You'll usually see a lot of Pittsburgh sports memorabilia on the wall, and the locations have a bit of personality. With the Sunrise location, it just appears to be a spin-off of a family sports restaurant like Duffy's or the Ale House. It's very generic, and the service seemed to mach the few times I've been. That being said, the food is great! If you're a first-timer, I'd suggest giving one of their famous sandwiches a try. I'm a big fan of the capicola & cheese with added egg. If you're not in the mood for a sandwich, the company is more well known in South Florida for their pizza. It's delicious, and goes great with a side of their garlic rolls. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. If you dig the food, there are two other Primanti's locations in Broward county, and I've been told the one on Ft. Lauderdale beach is open 24 hours. Enjoy!
(4)Jeff D.
once again.......i wish there was a 3 1/2 star, but for this place i'll give them the extra half because they did a good job. 4 of us & a baby went for lunch on a saturday. together there was 1 appetizer, 1 sanwich, 1 pizza, 1 soup & 1 pasta. they were all pretty good. i'm not a fan of the slaw & fries on the san, so i ordered them on the side & they are quite tasty. the soup (fagioli i believe) was quite tasty. our waitress was attentive, the place was VERY clean....nice hi def tv placement & the bathroom sparkled. this is definitely a place i'd return to with no hesitations & recommend w/ no worries
(4)Stephen L.
I've enjoyed their pizza at their beach location, but this spot does not impress me at all. I tried a the pan fried raviolis and the fries. Nothing tasted fresh and they obviously fried fish in the oil. So, it all came out with a fishy taste. Gross! Besides that, the service was slow and our server had absolutely no personality. The place didn't seem particularly clean either. I was really disappointed. We felt very unwelcome and couldn't wait to leave. I may try their pizza again, but probably not.
(2)Patty W.
You will not leave this place hungry. I never thought I would eat a sandwich with french fries on it. It was surprisingly good. The turkey and cheese was served on a soft italian bread with just enough fries. The only thing I wish I could of got was a side of ranch to dip it in. It was very delicious and the staff was nice. A nice bar set up too, even though I'm a dolphins fan ;) The pizza might be in the works for next time.
