Again, pretty healthy if you look up the fat and calories on their online nutritional guide. You do have to watch a couple of the sauces that you add, mainly the curry mustard. You can make your own bowls now, much like Chicken Kitchen used to let you do. And there's more healthy options like brown rice, yellow rice, or half rice and half lettuce to curb your carb intake. Their chicken, in my opinion, is like 5 times the quality you will get at Chipotle. Keep in mind they have other meat options like steak and pork, so in case you don't feel like pollo there's other choices. Grilled chicken, black beans and rice, with veggies how can you go wrong? Drive thru again tends to be very slow....if there's people there it typically means in my mind it's a good place. They also have outdoor seating and you'll get out of there for under $10

Nausiating, chicken was like a hockey puck. Dirty and disgusting. Why does anyone eat here. No one speaks English also.

The food was very good for the price. The only reason for just 2 Stars is strictly due to the very rude person taking orders at the counter. (The others back there didn't look very happy either.) The last several times she was angry, impatient, disrespectful, and obviously hates her job. If you are brave/crazy enough to ask a question, she snaps back with something totally unintelligible and then insults you on top of that. But this is the typical attitude in South Florida, isn't it? Solution: Avoid this place.

The food is really good. The employees and ordering experience are always painful. If they could hire and train their staff better I would frequent this chain more often. Their chicken sandwiches are great especially for fast food. The new addition of brown rice is way overdue but welcomed. The build your own tropichop is good because you can keep it healthy but change up the ingredients to keep from getting bored. Bottom line: great food at a good price but zen out before you go to reduce your frustration level while trying to order and get what you ordered.

Yumm nuff said! If they had places like this in NY I would eat fast food. Now this is not traditional fast food except that it is good. You see people cooking the food in front of you and every choice is a pretty good selection. I enjoy there trios with the chicken, pork and wings. The ribs are also good but seem to be to small for the trios. The pork is a must every time I go and is my favorite thing there. There are also tons of side selections to make from white or yellow rice to beans and yuca. I have never not liked any of the sides so feel free to grab anything your in the mood for. They also have good wraps and I like ordering the grilled chicken caesar wrap to have for lunch the next day.

Please hire some English speakling order takers in the drive thru. They seem to charge me and order for me whatever the hell they want to. Its a joke in our family how much they screw the orders up. Also, calling the business or the number on the receipt go to voice mail to someone else that doesnt speak English. Guess I;ll find another place to eat.

I ain't gonna front but I thought this place was another crappy food chain with flavorless food, boy was I wrong. Coming from NYC where food chains like pollo Tropical are non existent I was expecting the worst, but pollo tropical, although a food chain blew my expectations. Pollo Tropical is a Latin food style food chain, Caribbean to be exact, with options like fried sweet plantains, rice & beans, empanadas and even chicken soup, just like the way grandma makes it! Pollo tropical offers plates like Roasted chicken with rice and beans and sides like fried Yuca, if you are not familiar with Pollo tropical you should give them a try. This particular location is nice, they have outdoor seating and the staff brings the order to you. Unlimited Free refills on beverages. Real food, Real fast.

Let me start by saying........... Please look at your chicken before you leave the Resturant. My chicken was uncooked and bloody. I called the number on my receipt and asked for a manager, apparently there is no manager to talk to. Some lady with attitude answered the call and said I'm lying to her. So I took the chicken and went back to the restaurant and asked for a manager. A nice lady came and saw what I was saying. She was very nice and helped me. My recommendation to you all is to look at your order before you leaving the Restaurant. Overall my experience in the Restaurant was not that great. No sauces where filled and most were empty. And the two stars that I'm giving is for the manager who actually listened and took time to make it right. Happy hunting ( For food, of course)

The food itself for the price is great however my order has yet to be correct I have called customer service I've call the restaurant itself and spoken to the manager. I just want to go to the restaurant and get exactly what I ordered I don't think that's asking for too much especially since I've frequent here often hopefully next time I can give you five stars.

Good food. Fast service we ordered the quesadilla salad and one of the tropics shop. It is about 630 pm and busy

Food was good I had an avocado chicken salad and the dressing amazing ... Good price for the taste and quality

Black beans were outstanding, chicken were cooked just right not dry. But the wait was a little long but then again it was around 8 o'clock at night so I understand it was busy with a dinner rush.

Love the food here and you really get a deal. The tropichop is amazing and half the serving they give you gets me painfully full so you get a really good deal. You can split it with someone and end up paying less. Staff is helpful and friendly. =) Gets crowded.

Spent 12 minutes in line only to get to counter to find out they are only accepting cash. Could have told every one in line sooner.

I visit this restaurant about 3 to 4 times a month for lunch, since I work a few blocks down the road. The restaurant does have a lot of traffic, in a busy part of town especially In an area where there there is a lot of activity including malls and several businesses, this seems to be one of the go to places for lunch. However I will warn you if you come here between 12 and 1: 30 expect the. The drive-through can get crazy and in the lobby in the inside the line for service sometimes reaches out the door. I don't believe it's an issue for having lack of staff because there are several employees I believe it's just a matter of the location there are so many businesses in the area and there are several shopping centers that everybody comes out to lunch at the same time and they typically all gather in some of the same spots. Everyone is always helpful in the store and give good service and the food is hot and good for fast food Hispanic, typical rice and beans with chicken or pork, they also have salads chicken wraps and chicken sandwiches. If not for this location being so congested and the long waits it would get a better rating, please keep in mind I only typically visit this restaurant only between the times of 12 and 1:30 PM.

This place is always busy, but worth it. One of the few Pollo Trops that have employees that speak English. This is a plus when ordering over the drive threw speaker thingy. Inside seemed clean enough for a fast food place. Overall food is delicious from the whole chicken meal to the tropichops which I get nearly every week. You have to try the fried plantains. They are addictive so be aware. I've eaten a large order by myself on more than one occasion. This is a good one. Others aren't so hot.

Pollo Tropical is a franchise business, but for fast food their food is exceptional. The price isn't half bad either and they have family meal packages that feed my family of six. They have a wide variety of sauces that many people don't know about that can tailor your meal to your exact tastes. I never go without using their chicken sauce (it's a bit spicy) and their tomato salsa. I usually get the 1/4 chicken meal (dark meat) and my boyfriend gets the 1/2 chicken. We share plantains and sometimes the yucca fries if we feel for garlic.

Usually great service when you eat in. At times may take longer going inside then driving through but it is worth it! Such great food and amount of food for the price. My husband and I had one poor experience in drive through as the lady kept rushing asking "will that complete your order?" Instead of waiting for my husband to finish and turns out she got our order wrong so we ended up getting free food as they replaced the meal with the correct order. I guess even though she was rude and rushed, the company still amended and apologized by giving us our correct order.

I like this place. But seriously, writing this review makes me sound like a spoiled brat because I like that I can have someone else chop up my chicken into bite-sized pieces and toss it on to a pile of rice and beans. I can cook this at home 10x cheaper, but there is some enjoyment having someone else prepare a meal so I can just sit and brainlessly shovel it into my belly. Most of the time the chicken is cooked correctly, on occasion it's been dry. I really like that yellow curry sauce -- I have no idea what is in it but it's yummy. Parking here can be tough, generally clean, food consistent. I've been here several times and I would go back. Save your receipt and fill out the survey for free food on your next visit.

Decent but bland taste. Problem? I have either gotten crappy service w/people who barely speak English OR rather ill the next day. Hope your experience is more positive.

I ordered a chicken avocado club salad expecting chicken, bacon and avocado but instead of diced avocado they gave me guacamol, they are quite different which prob why they are name differently. Plus they forgot my dressing as I just finish asking the cashier if the dressing is in the bag, the portion is small in a big container and it didn't taste good. Guess this will be the last time I go there.
