The bartenders were not friendly. The vegetables in my dish tasted burnt. Then to top it off didn't even get fortune cookies when I paid the bill which I have gotten every other time at PF Changs other than this location. This wasn't a pleasant experience and was disappointing because we just wanted a nice dinner out but every aspect of the meal was diminished by the lack of enthusiasm and the off taste of the food. We flat out couldn't get our bartender who was serving my party to pay attention to us she was more concerned about socializing and gossiping with other employees in the restaurant....I know this because we could hear their complete conversations.

I can not believe the lousy service given to me and my girlfriend. We told the server we were in a rush and needed our food quickly. Well, a half hour rolled by and NOTHING! We left and told the manager that we weren't paying for our drinks and appetizers. Never again!!!

I am usually a big PF CHANG's fan. We order take out from here all the time and it works for us. This review is for this specific location: THEIR SERVICE IS AWFUL. This is not the first time! I remember when they first opened. We came during the first week and experienced bad service. If I recall correctly, they ended up discounting our bill or comping it altogether. It's not even about that though. It has now been at least 4 years and they are still not up to par! With the amount of traffic they get at all times of the day they really need to be on top of it all. Things like bringing 2 menus when there are 4 diners, not enough silverware, not clearing the table before bringing the next course, no one around when you need them, etc. The waiters and staff are always nice...when you get them to come to you. Last night everyone seemed flustered. Someone dropped a huge tray of dirty plates near us, brought us the wrong soups, gifted us another table's mixed up order of spare ribs, and it took us almost 3 hours to leave. Now I am all for lingering over dinner, wine and great conversation but only when it's by choice! Not because everything takes so long that we sit around waiting all night. Ok, rant over. PFC, I love you. Please do better. Your yummy food can only take you so far.

It's a small location in a popular shopping area so it seems to always be busy. I went on a Sunday evening around 8:30 and there was a 30 min wait. Our waitress was nice, but was too interested in making friends with the people at the table next to us, I could hear their entire conversation, it was very unprofessional. I got the Mongolian beef and the Great Wall if chocolate, one of the two made me sick for the next two days. I love p.f. changs, just not this one.

The beauty of Yelp is that it is real reviews by real people, right? So we don't have to be snobbish food connoisseur to write about a restaurant and liking it. Having said this, yes we know that this place is generic American Chinese food. Now that we have that cleared up, yes I love PF Chang in all its generic Chinese glory. The Hot n Sour soup is consistently hot and sour, very good. The Mongolian Beef delicious in its tangy sauce, and the Chicken and Eggplant soooo tasty. Yes this is what we always order, and when you are in the mood for dessert try the Great Wall of Chocolate - with about 4 more friends. You can't eat this alone. As in any PF Changs you will wait ridiculous amounts of time for a table, unfortunately (an hour in our case, wtf?) but to have our PF Chang fix which is a rare thing we are willing to wait.

So sad to write this review.....let me start out by saying that I love(d) PF Changs....but the last few times I have been to this location, it has been a total disaster! Everything that could go wrong, went wrong here...it was almost like the Twilight Zone. We were first told that the wait would be about an hour and a half (as were the many people in front of us who left because they didn't want to wait that long), so we put our names in, took a pager, and walked around the mall for about 25 minutes. We came back only to find multiple empty tables and that they had already called us up for a table (after only 25 minutes). It seemed that the hostess stand was just telling people this so that they would leave and they wouldn't have to deal with a wait. So, we are seated....next to this really large party (despite the multiple empty tables), and we have a baby in a stroller, these people are shouting in our ears and the server is joining in, trying to take their orders....so we move - ahhhh, a more peaceful and quiet table....until about 6 of the kids jump out of the table and start doing like a full on ballet recital in the middle of the restaurant (no I am NOT kidding). Anyway, on to the food. We order the pre fixe menu. Lettuce wraps and bowl of soup come out at the same time...we tell the food runner that we want to enjoy our soup before the appetizer....I thought that was normal? Then the soup is wayyyyy too spicy....this is soup I order every time I go there - it was abnormally hot. SO, we send it back and out come the lettuce wraps, and the manager to check on us. Then he has to leave because some lady fell a few tables over....so out comes our lettuce wraps and immediately following....the SOUP is back!!!! Ok, we aren't going to complain again, they obviously can't get it right. Then we have to ask our server over and over to fill our beverages....again, I used to be a server - that is part of the normal process, right? Refilling beverages? Maybe things have changed recently? It was to the point that we didn't want to ask anymore. So, then our entrees come out and the Mongolian Beef is more like a Goodyear tire than an edible delight.....so they take that back and the second one is mysteriously better.... Anyway, I would say that it was just this one night, but the last time I was at this location, I was disappointed as well. I will definitely go back to PF Changs, after all, I truly love their food, but NEVER NEVER again at this location.....

Ummm... Yummy! My friends say all things about this place and I have to do the same. The wait staff are super nice and efficient. I had a party of 10 and we were seated with no problems and the waitress was so friendly. Everyone ordered something different and all enjoyed their dinner. I tried the Hot Fish with Brown rice and it was utterly amazing. Sweet yet spicy, flaky and juicy. The fish was really tasty. I cant wait to get back here and try another dish. The only down side was the Asian pear mojito. Now this was bland and not worth ordering. It tasted like lemon flavored water, which is served free with every meal. Lastly, it took me a few circles around the block to figure out where to park. There were only postings for valet service in front of the restaurant and no signs for general parking. I just figured I would park at the parking lot attached to the mall and walk over praying that my car wouldn't get towed. Thank goodness it wasn't.

Great service great food!!! Gluten free!! Michelle was our server and did a great job:) We had all gluten free Moo goo gai pan, Dali Chicken, and Chicken and shrimp fried rice. Moo Goo Gai Pan was ok kinda bland but I think it's supposed to be (menu did say mild sauce). Dali chicken was good and spicy just how I like. Now if only they could do a gluten free Kung Pow

Great service, we came in with 20 people, and ask to change our seating twice - and they accommodate us with a smile !! Very fast and very efficient ! Only complaint is the food - very very average no matter what you order - we had the Dim Sum for lunch, Thai Beef Noodle, Ahi Salad - acceptable but nothing to write home about.

The Lunch Bowl specials are eh. You get a soup, rice and a choice of an entree. The soups are terrible -- Hot and Sour tastes uncomfortably fermented, and the Egg Drop soup is too thick. For lunch, the honey chicken is nice, but the sesame chicken was too sticky and a bit tasteless. NIcely paired with Broccoli and other peppers. The establishment's lunch food would've received 2 stars, but the service was quite nice. I complained to the waiter that I had so few pieces of chicken with my Lunch Bowl, and the manager automatically sent over another serving. Very thoughtful.

Service is very poor. Sat at the bar for some drinks and got the attention of the bartender once when there was only 1 other couple at the bar. Happy hour specials not that great, The bartenders are nice but not experienced. Will not go again. At least not for drinks.

I love pf changs and I really love the salted carmel cake. But I did not know that there was two different ones. I love the chocolate cake one and when I picked up my order it was a white cake. Next time they should double check with customers and ask if they want the chocolate cake or the other. Also on the menu on yelp there is only the salted carmel chocolate cake. There is nothing there about a white cake. Im very disappointed

I've visited this location several times. I would come here more often but the jam packed parking lots (because of the mall and other restaurants connected with this location), is my #1 deterrent from frequenting PF Changs. I'd go to the other locations, however, this is closest to home. That aside, the food is pretty good, and usually have good service. Yesterday evening however, there was an hour wait, (the mall must've been giving away something for free Lol), parking was a nightmare, and if it weren't for our company dinner, I would've never waited that long to eat here. Our waitress was mediocre (maybe she had a long day and was overwhelmed), she wasn't very friendly and everything was extremely rushed (especially after the lengthy wait). I prefer to go here during the week, earlier in the day if possible. The food is tasty and the portions are pretty good (I get full quickly), so I always have leftovers. The parking and crazy mall shoppers deter me from this location...and I prefer to go to Pei Wei on Pine Island Road just north of Broward Blvd...just to avoid the Sawgrass crowds/parking.

There are many reasons why we have been ordering take out from this PF Changs for years and my overall assessment of my experience is good enough that I will continue to go back for more. I have no idea why for as long as I've been on Yelp and longer, there is a serious shortage of good Chinese restaurants in West Broward. I am not sure why this is the case but we have resigned ourselves to not waste more money on another horrible experience and have chosen PF Changs as our defacto "let someone else make dinner for us tonight in the comfort of our own home" place. I've dined in a few times but we mostly just get the take out. Ordering online is easy. Ordering on the phone is not. The take out cashier is always so kind and addresses both my husband and I by name. He genuinely goes the extra mile on the friendly vibe and getting our order correct and out to us as quickly as possible. I would definitely prefer something a bit more authentic but at least PF Changs is here to save the day when we don't feel like cooking.

Always love to sit at the bar for the great personal service and attention. Not so much tonight. Claritza and Stephanie were horrible. Never introduced themselves, never explained or mixed our spices. Had to ask for chop sticks. Had to ask for refill on club soda at least three times. Never asked for our names. Had to ask for check. And they weren 't even busy. Guess we will go to Boca or Galleria next time.

Went here for a late lunch with my wife. This was my first time going there. The service was good and all other staff members were very nice. The food was good and the portions were a nice size how ever my kung pao chicken which is supposed to be spicy was not spicy at all for my taste and my wife who does not like spicy foods did not find it spicy either other than that i don't have any complaints.

WORST. FOOD. EVER. I've been to PF Changs nationwide, and this place is usually darn good. Well, NOT this location. We ordered 2 spicy changs noodle soup, and after twenty good minutes, the noodles in the soup came out MUSH - literally! They realized this, and told us they'd get us two new soups immediately. FALSE. After another FORTY FIVE MINUTES, the manager came out and said they messed up. We had lost our appetite at this point and just wanted to leave. Told him to make it to go, and he did. Also told him we'll go straight to dessert. Dessert came out, and they still had the audacity to charge for it all. Pretty pathetic... The waitress was very nice, so I felt bad not tipping her. Made it clear that the food WAS TERRIBLE, but she was very nice. NOT COMING BACK HERE!

I don't and never have cared for PF Changs. It's usually so dark in there, you can't see what you're eating, and the service is awful. Since my fiancé had a gift certificate to this place, we decided to give this establishment a 3rd chance. Once again, our experience was pure disappointment. PROS: - We went on a Monday night, so it wasn't packed. Our theory was that with a lower amount of customers, we'd receive better service. - The $39.99 dinner for two is a lot of food, and a good value. - The food was prepared well, and arrived at the correct temperature. - The orange peel shrimp was tasty, and had a nice spicy zing. - The sesame chicken was pretty decent, and a "safe" dish for those sensitive to spicy food. CONS: - The service is still pitiful. It took 10 minutes to get us our drinks, and the service worsened from there. It wasn't like we were a big party; just the two of us. - 30 minutes later our appetizers and soups arrived. No apologies for the delay, and our drinks had run dry by this point. - Our second round of drinks are brought to our small table, and the server doesn't have the presence of mind to remove the old, empty glasses. - Our main course finally arrives, and I'm almost ready to go to bed. What should've been an hour meal has expanded to 2 hours. - Every time food was brought out, someone other than our server was doing it. I'm sorry, but if the manager or hostess is running food, it's either because they're slammed (Monday night was slow) or the server sucks. Hmm, what could it be? - By the time we got to dessert, we were tired and ready to leave. We asked to have our dessert to go. They bring it out, and it's missing the raspberry sauce. My fiancé informs our inefficient server about the discrepancy, and he proceeds to search our "to go" bag, like we're lying to him! Any good server would've just apologized and grabbed more. I guess he was making sure we weren't stealing. Sigh. - I always tip 20%. I gave him 15%, and that was only because I don't have enough hate in my heart to stiff him. - No manager stopped by our table to ask how our meal was. We were pissed, but wanted to just get out of there. - We arrive home to look at our dessert. The cup of berries that comes with dessert included 5; count them, 5 berries! Steam was coming from my fiance's ears. This will be our last time visiting this joke of a restaurant. From start to finish, this meal was exhausting, and no fun. While I'm not huge on visiting chain restaurants, PF Changs could learn a few lessons from Cheesecake Factory, Grand Lux Café, Outback, or Chili's on how to run an eating establishment, efficiently.

"Yay! I am a fan!" is an understatement! I am a huge fan! I salivate at the mouth picturing their delicious food as I write this! Yes, I am aware P.F. Chang's is a chain. And, so what? I don't care! Chain or not they consistently serve satisfying Asian food a la "bistro" style. That means you aren't going to find the most traditional versions of your Asian favorites. And that's OK, too! P.F. Chang's takes its liberties with their menu that perhaps some purists may not like, but that's what's so fun about coming here! You get the whole Asian dining experience without having a whole "cultural interchange" about going out for "Chinese"! I have no shame in loving this place. Of course everyone rants and raves about the Mongolian Beef, but truthfully take my suggestion and order the following: Candied Walnuts, Shrimp, with Cantaloupe. It may seem like an odd match, but it's just sooo perfect. In addition, since I am soup lover, their Wonton Soup is spectacular. Sooo satisfying! I literally could go on and on, but I suggest you all jump on the P.F. Chang's bandwagon ASAP!

This is the BEST PF Chang restaurant that I have EVER gone to, and trust me I have gone to all the south florida ones. The customer service is spectacular, the food is delicious, and presentation of the food was superb, and the management is FABULOUS! To know that at the end of my mean, the manager, Amanda Michealson, came to make sure that everything was great, meant a great deal! I go to this PF Chang at least once a week, and the waiters, and the management team, have all made sure to greet their regulars by "NAME". This place definitely makes sure to make you want to come back....and that's why we do!!

I am not a huge fan of Chinese food, but this contemporary style is right up my alley! Large selection and very varied menu. Great place to order family style and share. I have tried many items and liked just about every one. An item that everyone raves about is chicken lettuce wraps, and is not to be missed. Your waiter will prepare a dipping sauce, and you can spice it up as much as you want. Other items I love are the pan fried noodles and mushu duck or chicken. Really, I don't think there's a bad choice on the menu! Dessert is a tough one, as you decide between the yummiest fried bananas and a delicious and massive chocolate cake. Am I remembering correctly that it's called The Great Wall?? Maybe...I should go check...

Took advantage of the special offer, four-course meal for two. Great deal! Lots of food for the price of $39.95. The wonton soup was delicious, the lettuce wraps were tasty, and our main courses (salmon and scallops) were cooked to perfection! The service was also outstanding! Very pleased and planning to visit again soon.

I really like this restaurant. I've come for dinner and a few lunches. Parking can be a royal pain in the a$$ but what can you expect when you're at Sawgrass? It's tourist city. So if you go at lunch time give yourself time to park and walk. And don't waste time trying to find a spot that is close. The things to order are: the sea bass with spinach is amazing, singapore noodles are delicious (add the chili sauce!), eggplant dish was delish...what else? Lunch specials are good too! So, as long as you are prepped for the parking situation you'll have a good time.

This is how every Chinese restaurant should be. Get your sushi and sweet and sour chicken at the same place with a touch of class. The food here is great and the environment is really interesting. They have statues with an ancient China empire feel to it. It is a little on the costly side of the scale when it comes to Chinese food but you really do get what you pay for.

  • Olga M.

PF Changs is an overall ok place. It's Chinese food with an American feel to it, I give them credit for what they do. You just have to know what dishes are good, but obviously when you go there for the first time you try anything that sounds good. The soup my family had was good, but the dishes were a little off. I don't remember the name of it, we always have seafood but like the sauce was off. It was too sweet and my dad hates sweet food. Very dark in there and busy on the weekends. The soup also took a while to arrive and same with the dishes after that.

I feel kind of like an idiot saying this, coming from NY where you can get really good Chinese food, but we really enjoyed our meal at PF Changs (we don't have them in NY - we don't have a lot of chain restaurants in general - so even that was kind of exotic in a Disney kind of way). Pricey, but I think worth it. Everything was very fresh; chicken lettuce wraps were terrific, and my chicken dish - don't recall the name, chicken done spicy with leeks and potatoes - was very good AND truly spicy, as promised. I love that they have mini-desserts. For a chain, pretty darn good. Will seek them out when I'm on the road.

We went on a Sunday night. The place was crowded but we were seated quickly because we had a reservation. We started with the calamari and Changs ribs. The sauce for the calamari was salty but otherwise the calamari was great. The entrees were great. The salmon with asparagus was moist and the scallops perfectly cooked. To finish off we went for the great wall of chocolate cake- AWESOME!!! I love chili but found the house chili sauce salty. Something they should look into.

Love, love this location! I have been to four different PF Changs and this one is by far the most pleasent to dine at. (Ok, aside from the one in GA - but everyone is nicer there than in Miami) We eat at this restaurant every time we go shopping at Sawgrass Mills. It is conveniently located right outside of the shops and parking is usually available without walking a mile to get there. The food has always been fresh and the service makes me feel like I am up north. They are VERY catering to any needs. I have tried the following and each time, each plate, has been wonderful: Crab Wontons, Peeking (pan fried) dumplings - pork, Lettuce Wraps, Chang's Spicey Chicken, Mongolian Beef/Chicken, Orange Peel Shrimp (Whoa AMAZING), Orange Peel Beef, Philips Better Lemon Chicken (eh, bland for my taste) & the Crispy Honey Shrimp. Their coffee is ALWAYS fresh as well. What's awesome is I take my little one with us and they know to put us in a stroller friendly area, each time, without us asking for it. The layout is spacious, decorated beautifully and ALWAYS clean. Oh, and the manager is constantly walking around greeting customers and checking-in on the quality of your plate. The last time we went I did notice that at the end of the bar they have a lowered bar area for handicap customer in a wheel chair - now that is impressive! First time I've ever seen it. The bathrooms are located around the corner from where people eat, BUT, nicely tucked away behind a wall so it isn't that bad if you're seated near there. I've never had more than a 5 minute wait each time. The waiters are professional and very catering. They ask me if I want my son's food heated before I have a chance to flag them down. This location is well worth it and hey, its located outside of a HUGE mall - what more could you ask for? (Outside seating is also available.)

Wow, maybe we need more diversity in South Florida so that some real restaurants open up. PF Chang's is horrible from how incredibly fake everything looks, and worse how it seems like everything has the same taste. You might as well get the cheapest item on the menu, because it is going to taste like the most expensive. I can see this being great for those that lack the taste for authenticity and wantt something that seems safe. Go Corporate restaurant! Boring

Ahhhhhhhmazing. From the food, drinks, the staff and the atmosphere. Great experience overall! Try the lobster & rice, but ask for the green sauce they use to dress the sushi plates. Oh my yum!!!!!

  • Julio M.

I've eaten some great food at other PF Chang locations. Today, the only bright spot was the shrimp dumplings. The lobster sushi rolls were very average. I ordered, off menu, the double pan fried noodles with beef, chicken and shrimp. Apparently the cook only had a vague recollection of how it was prepared because the sauce was off and there was way too much of it. I could only handle a couple of bites of it so I packed it up with plans on how I was going to save this dish by sweetening it up and accompanying it with sticky white rice to soak up the soupy mess. The food was 2 1/2 stars but I took off 1/2 star away for the horrible service. It took an entire hour to get our meals from the point of ordering. This seemed to be an ongoing problem as the table next door had the same issue. Their cure for the problem was a vague lame excuse by our otherwise competent waiter. All the extra time it took to bring us our mediocre meals gave us time to ponder our perception of time. Perhaps this was nothing more than a time-space experiment by renown physicist/restaurant chain owner Professor Fuzzybutt Chang.

My past experiences have always been great! We have been pretty lucky with servers. Our newest favorite is Giselle. She's extremely nice and sincere. This past experience was horrible. Forty-five minutes after we ordered, the manager, Will, came to our table, looked at us and said quickly, "Your food was just put in the skillet and will be out shortly." Then he walked away before we could say anything. I asked the server to get him again. I told him it was unprofessional to come by so abruptly and he should have apologized and offered us dessert or SOMETHING to make up for this long wait time. His response was, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didnt know you were expecting me to offer you free dessert. I was going to do that but I didn't know you were expecting me to say it." At that point I realized I was dealing with a moron and decided to say, "whatever, forget it." Before he walked away he said, "You guys can order whatever you want for dessert." We waited another 15 mins for our food to come out. When it did, the rice didn't come out with our meal. We asked for it and after 10 mins, we sent the dish back. We were extremely upset and not going back for a while. That manager should NOT and does NOT know what he is doing. It baffles me how he even got this position. He is greasy and messy looking to top it off. I give 3 stars because our past experiences.

I only dined here at bar so my experience might not apply to all. Food came out fast and so the drink. Waitress was friendly and knew drinks they were serving. This is located within the massive outlet mall, so majority of customers are shoppers from South America or Europe, not sure how they feel about our beloved American Chinese food, but I certainly like it!

First time at PF Changs in general my experience would've been way better if this mall wasn't soooo crowded! Parking was an absolute frenzy--- but I will digress. To the food! Yummyyyyy! The eggplant dish is amazing (no seriously, vegetarian or not), the Salt and Pepper Calamari is amazing-- shez beef-- AMAZING... shrimp pad Thai ok but was horrible as leftovers when I warmed it in the oven, lol. Timing, and drinks were legit too. The sangria was strong, surprisingly and I tried a friends white grape cocktail that had champagne and vodka, lol--- YUM ! I usually stay away from chains and would've never tried this spot if it wasn't for a friends bday but I'm glad I did.

Though not by choice, I've dined at a good number of P. F. Chang restaurants. Like all the others, I find general décor and ambiance of this Sawgrass Mills location is to be excellent, but I really do have a problem with the food. Nothing at P. F. Chang's is anything close to what I've had in China, and having lived and worked in the oil fields of Mongolia, I can assure you that their Mongolian dishes aren't even remotely close, which if you've had to live in Mongolia any length of time as I have, you might agree with me is a very fortunate thing. I suppose their dishes are designed as an Americanized interpretation, which is OK. I don't have a problem with a complete lack of authenticity if their culinary spins or take offs of those foods were innovative representations, but they're not; not even close. For starter I had glass of their sangria, which indeed is something you won't find in China or Mongolia, but it was loaded with strawberry and with their added dash of vodka had very good flavorful taste about it. Then for a starter, had their "Salt & Pepper Calamari" tossed with Fresno peppers, onion and accompanied with a sweet chili dipping sauce. I thought the calamari to be interesting, innovative, very good, but though it may be more a matter of personal taste, the sweet sauce overly sweet, so much so that it overwhelmed any chili taste. For my entrée I went for their new to the menu lobster avocado roll which I found to be strangely listed under the heading of "Sushi." The roll, comprised of lobster done in a curry garlic wrapped on the inside with unwrapped rice roll coated and topped off with avocado was, to my taste, a complete flop. The inside lobster had taken on that creepy yellowish look of the curry but somehow came out not only without any curried garlic flavor but also complete devoid of even a hint of distinguishable lobster flavor; a totally bland and flavorless dish.

Happy Hour at P.F. Chang's includes specials on limited drink and appetizer from 3-6pm. For me, it is more of the same cuisine you expect to find at P.F. Chang's but with better prices. I have had dinner at P.F. Chang's before but never ordered a drink and I quite enjoyed the variety and quality of the drinks. There was an apparent freshness! Our dim sum choice for the night was the Crab Wontons. The wonton had the right crispness but as you would expect, it wasn't a very crabby on the inside but still it tasted good. Our street fare choice was the Chang's BBQ Spare Ribs. The were quite finger licking good. After those two small bites, we were still hungry so we moved onto dinner, ordering the Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice Combo. Hot, fresh and delightful is what I have to say about that! My sweet tooth could resist and we finished off with the Flourless Chocolate Dome. Sinful! My only complaint was that everything was brought out randomly and quickly so while I was still on apps, dinner was being brought out and when the beef was brought out, the rice wasn't. Please work on the timing P.F. Changs because there has been much improvement since the last time I dined here years ago.

Haven't been here in years and I have to say, they changed quite a bit. From the look of their menu and menu items. So I called for a reservation at 1:15pm on a Sunday for a party of 5. To my surprise, the restaurant wasn't packed yet. Confirmed my reservation and lead to a table. What i didn't appreciate though was the hostess already put the menus on the table with the table not fully cleaned yet coz there was a bunch of water marks spill whatever you want to call it. Anywhoooo, it was nice and bright inside. Our waitress Jenn took our drinks right away and asked if we wanted appetizers. For PF Chang's, it is a given that we order lettuce wraps. They're known for that and we ordered kaleidoscope sushi as well. Their menu look definitely simplified and improved. Very clean modern look. When our waitress came back with our drinks, she already had our appetizers in hand. I was like wow awesome. Lettuce wraps were amazing as I expect it to be. They never fail! It was a wrap for me! Ta DA dush... Seriously order it. Best lettuce wraps! Now for the kaleidoscope sushi, it was really pretty in picture but so small in actuality. My family are sushi enthusiasts but they said it was okay. Not really worth it. Entrees we ordered Mongolian beef, sweet walnut shrimp with melon balls, chicken pad Thai, pf changs fried rice, and hunan style hot fish Food was great. Especially the Mongolian beef and pf changs fried rice. Delicious, hearty and filling! The Mongolian beef was very tender and cooked to the perfect temp. Tasted almost exactly like their Asian bistro, Pei Wei. But their Pei Wei Mongolian beef I love better because it tastes sweeter and comes with mushrooms. Hunan style hot fish was cooked to crispy golden on the outside and so incredibly soft and tender fish on the outside. It was probably the softest fish that ever hit my mouth. The walnut shrimp was good but I like panda express walnut shrimp better. I wasn't too crazy about their pad Thai, quite spicy. Dessert we ordered the chocolate dome and banana spring rolls served with ice cream. Well the chocolate dome was really more of a chocolate hill. It was pretty small but still delicious. It was basically all chocolate mousse. The banana spring rolls were amazing! Finished it to the last spoon! I'd like to add also that the food here is designed to share from appetizers, entrees to sides. They are not really a single person serving getting your own plate. Overall, food was great, came at a great time. Prices reasonable. Service is done at a very short and fast manner, how I like it. Experience was truly easy breezy. In and out. It was awesome sauce!

The Chicken Noodle Soup is the bomb here. I have dined at This particular PF Changs on many occasions, the food is ok, it's Not NYC Chinatown, but then again we aren't in NYC. The Chicken Soup is a must try, it's large enough to serve 4-6 people, but I eat the whole pot all by myself, it's my Favorite dish on the menu. Their Hot Tea is excellent, try the Dragon oolong tea, as for some honey on five side, really good. Once you tea pot is empty just ask the wait staff to add more hot water, the tea bags are good enough to brew a few pots using the same bag. This location is usually busy but you can get seated rather quickly, the wait is never too long. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Came here with my family reluctantly because we can do PF Changs back at home in Maryland. After shopping all day-this was right by the mall so we just did it. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Well-not my food-I ordered beef and broccoli. The beef was chewy...really chewy...but I didn't complain. I just ate my sons' food! My husband took my food to-go. I've eaten at this chain plenty of times but for some reason, what my 11-year old ordered was the best thing I've tasted at a restaurant in a while. Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. OMG!! I'm hoping when I return home and order this dish myself that it tastes this good! Fingers crossed!! I also nibbled off of my 7-year old's Sesame Chicken dish-yum!

The food was great the service not so much. I called and made a reservation at 3 and when I got there they told me that the reservation was set for 330. When we sat, they say us at a huge table for 6 people when it was just 2 people. Our waiter was very nice expect he took forever to come and every time he came it was very far apart. The food on the other hand was awesome! I ordered the walnut honeydew shrimp with fried rice and loved the combination of the fruit with the fried shrimp and the crunchiness of the walnut. It's a dish that you have to try even though it sounds a little weird. Overall I'd go back time and time again because the food was amazing!

Really good food and great service. Food was hot and cooked correctly. Lots of flavor, they are very careful for gluten sensitive people like my wife.

Not what I'm used to, and I've been here quite a bit. Food was as expected, but the service clearly wasn't this time. Forgot some of our orders, bill was incorrect, and took 20 min to actually get the bill.. unfortunate...

Service was ok, but I guess the menu has changed and some of my favorites were gone from menu. This visit the simple coconut curry was not as flavorful, very noisy at this visit. Again this is a tourist trap, so expect the noise.

Was over priced and not worth it. Parking is a nightmare with all the construction. Their sister restaurant Pei Wei is far better.

Service couldn't be any better! We were well taken care of, and the hostess even asked if we wanted to sit by a family with obnoxious kids or wait for a few moments to get a quiet table. That meant a lot to me. I hate when parents don't control their kids in public places. Food taste was amazing as it always is. My only complaint is the salt level!!! I drank 3 glasses of water with dinner and a powerade when I got home. I still woke up in the middle of the night dehydrated and in need of water!!! Boo salt!!!

I always have a good time at PF Changs, food is good, service is friendly, and prices are reasonable. They have changed its menu and now you'll find more sushi rolls. My favorites are mongolian beef, seeet and sour chicken, PF Changs special fried rice, and Lo Mein Noodles. The banana srping rolls with coconut and pineape ice cream are delicious. Oh, and try the BBQ Ribs!

The four star things about PF Chang's was the service (especially because I left something in the waiting area yesterday and when I called today they had it!) The decor is nice and the menu has a variety of dishes and beverages. The two star things about PF Chang's: 1. We came to this restaurant a few months ago because we were starving and they were nearby - considering the lack of the food authenticity it is our only excuse. The manager noticed that the entree was sent shortly after we started on our salads so he came over to us and gave us a $10 gift card to apologize. The only reason we came here yesterday was because we had the card and stepped out from a nearby car dealership for lunch before having to return to complete our business. 2. The server actually opens a hinged box at the table to offer chop sticks - a bit cheesy. 3. We got a flight of sake - one of which was undrinkable, literally. I do believe it would remove paint in a pinch though. What was I thinking, ordered Japanese rice wine at PF Chang's? 4. We ordered the ahi appetizer, raw tuna on a tortilla chip. The dish looked good but the tuna was flavorless. What was I thinking, ordering raw fish at PF Chang's? Obviously I should have gone to a sushi restaurant. 5. As we were eating the appetizer the salad was delivered (this time we were splitting one salad that was offered instead of a bowl of soup as part of their lunch menu). But as soon as that was placed on the table, another person came over with our lunch plates. The restaurant had many empty tables and no one waiting to be seated, so what was the rush to dump all the food at the guests? We wound up accepting the entrees and packing the salad - same as last time but no manager apologizing this time - good, now we won't have reason to give it yet another shot. 6. We ordered the Chiang Mai Curry Noodles from the seasonal menu. The description of the dish said it had a coconut curry infused broth - I guess our noodles soaked it up because the dish was dry and when we chewed the noodles we had glue in our mouths. The dish had promise but no delivery. NOTE: There is a beautiful pic of this dish in the collection of Yelp pics - it came from the restaurant's website and looks nothing like the dish we were served...nice. Did I mention the server was nice? I guess that's not enough reason to return. And since our business with the car dealership is done, we have even less reason to spend 20 minutes looking for a parking spot to go eat at PF Chang's. Considering the foot traffic of Sawgrass Mills shoppers I don't think the restaurant'll notice.

Meh... Service goes a long way. Seven out of ten visits are disappointing. It's pretty sad we go here alotttttttttt. Why do we do this to ourselves? Well... 1. My family and Sam's family loves PF Chang and the menu. 2. It's a casual yet nice seating restaurant. They have indoor and outdoor seating. 3. There are many options such as gluten free, vegetarian, etc. I like their seafood dishes as well as the tofu options. But yikes service most of the time makes me sad: my verdict is they justtttt don't care. There are so many tourists in the area that they think customers won't care and they won't come back etc. Or lack of management and training. Whatever the case I rather go to Boca location which is a bit better. Good luck on the crappy servers :/

Very nice meal here today. Good, friendly, attentive wait staff. Very good food (Kung Pao Chicken). Pleasant ambiance, not crowded or noisy. Able to have a good conversation. Will definitely be back.

Food received promptly and friendly. Enjoyed Vegetable Spring Roles. It was crisp and piping hot. No oil laden rolls; and the secret sauce was yum! The various sauces were brought. Lol I just know 1 is So Hot! Watch out. I'm the type who will say yes or no if I'm not going to eat something I won't waste the establishments money on taking it. Yes not the norm. One enjoyed Chicken Fried Rice and it had crisp vegetables and tasted yum!! No mushy rice here lol. It turned out to be a Fried Rice dinner. I had Beef Fried Rice and the vegetables were crisp, just yum. I had been craving Fried Rice for a while and I had plenty leftover to baggie. Must report that we did ask for low sodium soy sauce and they made sure it was given before any food was received. Servings were very generous! No complaints.

Try the lemongrass spring roll appetizer, honey crispy shrimpor chix, mongolian beef and graet wall of china dessert...you'll be all set! Note: since they recently had a credit/debit breach, they are using manual card swipe. If you were at PFC from March-May 2014, you should notify your bank/cc company of the breach. Also, wait times are terrible and staff is hit-or-miss.

Hadn't been to PF Chang's in a while when my boyfriend's son asked us to go after church for lunch. Our food was delicious and our server was probably one of the best, most professional we've had in a long time. There was a minor issue with our California Roll we probably wouldn't even have noticed but he comped us with a delicious Tuna Tataki! Definitely coming back! Ask for Nick!

  • JA M.

Absolute worst service I've ever received anywhere, including McDonalds. Our server had an attitude from the second she brought us the menu, we literally had to wait 15 minutes just to be greeted after we sat down, and well, about a dozen other issues. First they tried to sit us on the outside patio at a table that had trash all over the floor right in front of it. Does it take common sense as an employee of a company to pick up trash on the ground or is that to much to ask? The waitress didn't recommend one item on the menu, acted like we were bothering her by simply letting her know we were ready to order, and was just an overall retard when it came to doing anything that resembled good service. The manager did come over after I asked the hostess to speak to us and was very polite and understanding. She took care of the bill for us but that's not the point, the service ruined the dinner! I have a great job I don't need handouts but I thanked her for taking care of the bill because if I had to deal with that AND pay for it I really would've been furious.

The food is unique and it's almost like your in benihana or Japan inn the food is so great the service is awesome I would go back but it is expensive and pricey very luxury type of restaurant the portions of food are very big they can feed 4 people their so big

  • Veda R.

    1) Another fine establishment that made me visit the potty for a few hours. 2) Lunch portions are laughably small. 3) Food here tastes worse than the cheap $5 crap you can get at the mall. 4) Service is mediocre -- no apologies were offered when I got brown rice instead of white rice. I know I'm chubby, but when I go out to eat, I don't want to eat brown rice. I just got a plate to "move the brown rice" and a bowl of white rice and no sign of remorse. 5) The only good thing about P.F. Chang's is the lettuce wraps, but these left a strong metallic taste in my mouth the entire time I was at Sawgrass. 6) Ginger beer is made in house, and good. Would order again. Probably would be the only thing I'd order again.

What can I say, P.F Chang is somewhat Americanized version of Chinese food but I personally had a great time here. Had the Kung Pao Shrimp and it was so good. it was lighter than alot of other chinese food, it was not too much sauce with it, so I guess a much more healthy version. The Wonton Soup was so gigantic to start with, it could fill up three people litterally and still maybe have more. I was gonna go with the beef and broccoli but was so much more satisfied with the Kung Pao Shrimp. Next time, would get that one again, look forward to coming to the location in the future. Prices were not bad, they were definitely not so bad. -Service was really great, also we had a coupon for the group to use from a P.F Chang visit in Las Vegas from the Chinese new Year celebration, that made the visit even more worthwhile.

Had a large family dinner for my daughter's birthday. Very accommodating and friendly staff. The food came out in a timely manner and all requests were addressed. The food was a bit lacking in flavor. It was either over spiced or lacked a clear taste. Very impressed but hoping for a bit more next time.

I really like this location, is convenient if you are shopping, it is not normally crowded, the food is very good, the service is great, and they always have a seasonal menu if you want to vary from the usual PF Changs favorites.

Definitely a fan of this place. My BF loves this place since they several items to choose from that are Gluten Free. We always start off with the lettuce wraps and then to a cup of soup. My favorite is Egg Drop soup. So good. I love the dumplings too. I am addicted to those. I usually order the beef with broccoli. You can never go wrong with that. We order a side of fried rice! Yum! Everything here is always delicious. Service is great. The only bad thing about this location is the parking. Since the Sawgrass mall is here the parking is a nightmare. SUCKS. I wish they would section off parking spaces just for them. It would make it much easier.

Pf Changs is the most reliable place to eat. The service is most efficient and the food is usually cooked well so u don't have to worry about the surprises that come with certain restaurants. Big parties are usually space constrained but otherwise the ambiance and atmosphere is impressive. 5 stars as usual!!!!!

If you are looking for Authentic Chinese Cuisine, this is definitely not the spot to go! With that being said, I still love PF Changs! Good food and decent prices!!! Mongolian Beef, Lettuce wraps, and Salt and Pepper Calamari are my regular orders!!! Always hits the spot!!!

Today my family ordered sweet n sour chicken, crispy honey, shrimp, and Mongolian beef...along with shrimp fried rice and pork fried rice. Needless to say, we left every plate clean! Great customer service at Sawgrass! Sunday dinner at 5:30pm= no line/no wait. Love this place!!!

We always enjoy this location. The only downside is the parking at the sawgrass mall is a pain in the ***. We usually try to go off peak hours and sit at the bar. I think the Fort Lauderdale location accepts reservations but this location does not. The chicken soup enough for 2 and is a healthy option.

People hate on P.F. Chang's for the lack of authenticity and whatnot, but I really like them. They are expensive, but we usually don't leave disappointed. This isn't my favorite location, though, because the parking is insane and the interior doesn't seem as nice as some of other P. F. Chang's I have visited. The service is always great and I love their appetizers. I have never had an app I didn't like. I probably like the apps more than the meals. I like that they have lower priced lunch meals that include soup or salad, and you don't feel like you have 5 pounds of food. I wouldn't go here expecting exotic cuisine, but P. F. Chang's is pretty decent for a nice meal out.

Typical PF Changs....Americanized Chinese ...but the staff here was very friendly...I went here for dinner on my wife's birthday. I asked the waitress to put a birthday candle on the dessert when my wife orders it and she did...and she was very sweet to wish her and ask her how her day was what we did etc...most waiters do but she was extra sweet.... Also, I decided back and forth about my order but she never complained... The food was ok..I dont have super high expectations with PF Changs anymore...thats probably why... The 4 stars I give are for how wonderful the waitress made us feel...and making us leave the place with a great feeling and a big smile...

I was so hesitant about going to this place since I'm not a fan of Chinese food/bistro. However I went and I love their lettuce wrap it's amazing and super efficient for vegetarians, they have an awesome "Great Wall of china" chocolate cake and the "chocolate dome" with raspberry and basil is mouth watering !

I decided I wanted to try something away from my neighborhood today for lunch and sold my girlfriend into going to PF Changs after my first experience I had years ago. I boasted about the Mongolian beef and the 2 for $40 deal. Excited as I was they handed me a happy hour menu which I would normally go for but she wanted the full experience today. Although I still ordered the spicy tuna roll from the happy hour menu we did the 2 for $40 as well. The fixed menu seemed to be extremely limited from the last time I went. I went for the sweet and sour soup that reminded me of Alpo dog food. The sushi came next which was average and I was told I could not add cream cheese. Really? Moving on, the dynamite shrimp was good. The magnolian beef was good too. The white rice was below average. You're probably thinking dude, it's white rice. Yes, have you ever eaten rice at the bottom of the rice maker? That's what it felt like that. It didn't even taste like Asian rice. Call me picky, but I expected a lot more. I gave this place 2 stars just because our server was on point and the mangolian beef and shrimp was exceptional. We won't be revisiting this place.

My two star review will mean nothing...this place is freakin packed and I'm sure will continue to be. Haven't eaten in the Chang'ers for a few years (Chinese is not my first choice and living in S Florida we have a plethora of restaurants to choose from), we went here before a concert over at the BB&T center. I still love the atmosphere. Very cool. But the food was just so so. My friend who raved about the crispy green beans said what we got was very different than what he has gotten in the past. I really didn't care for it all, just ate a few bites. The lettuce wrap appetizer, perhaps a bit small, was good. The main dish we got was the Orange Peel Chicken, and we added broccoli. It tasted ok, but I couldn't get pass the gloppy sauce and thinking in back of my mind the sheer amount of sodium I was ingesting (about 2300 total, split in two). In fact, the double pan fried noodles our friend ordered had, for total dish, over 6400 mg of sodium..even splitting that for 3200 mg is almost 2 days worth!!! And I didn't care for it either. Doubt I will be back.

Great selection and good quality, if not a bit pricey and portions rather small. My husband had the mongolian beef which he enjoyed and I had the egg rolls, won tons, and dim sum. All were very good, but again pricey, I paid $30 for 3 small appetizers, which is more than I would like. Very nice staff and pretty decor, but that isn't enough to fill me up or want me to return.

This wasn't my choice for dinner. Service was good except for my waiter reaching over me to retrieve a plate. Food wise, I've never had deep fried kung pao chicken. There were no vegetables in my dinner just chicken and rice! It also took over twenty minutes for our dinner was served. I mean I can order, drive and be home by the time it took them to prepare and serve. Guess I should have done carry out from my local restaurant. Also, which really pissed me off, the maître de, did not tell my waiter it was my wife's birthday. Real smooth!! I won't be back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
