I am new to the plantation area and was looking for options. I found this place sometime ago but didnt try it till I saw a deal for it on living social. I was surprised at the number of choices they have for vegetarians. The menu had lots of options like sandwiches paninis, pastas, sous, salads. I went here today and I have to say the food and the service were great. The place was not very busy when I first went in but then people started coming in. The food was very tasty. The staff was very friendly. I ordered a caprese panini and my wife got some special spicy pasta they had, both were delicious. The coffee here was very fresh. We also got some fries, though they were not seasoned they were nicely made. The dips they give you with the complimentary bread basket are very tasty and very fresh. I would definitely highly recommend this place

I have to say, I'm surprised by the other reviews. Perhaps Milky Cafe was just off its game last night. I bought a coupon on Living Social and went last night. The waitress was very sweet, but a terrible waitress. Completely inattentive, too busy watching TV to hear the kitchen ding with our food, wasn't on top of water refills, and just kind of overall sucked. The worst part is that we were literally the only people in the place, so it's not like she was busy doing other things. As far as food, well...being kosher isn't an excuse for being gross. Okay, not gross -- nothing made me want to GAG, but the food wasn't good. At all. We ordered hummus with tahini as an appetizer, which was palatable, as well as cheese ravioli with "light" creamy pink sauce and a margherita pizza. The cheese ravioli came out with an extremely heavy yellow sauce. It tasted odd and was not enjoyable. The pizza was worse than roller skating rink pizza -- totally bland and dry. I guess I'm confused as to how being kosher would have affected the taste of anything we ordered. There is nothing inherently non-Kosher about ravioli or pizza, so why was the food so sub-par? I'm not a chef by any means, but I've made both ravioli and pizza from scratch, and it was far better than what we were served. I guess I should know better than to order Italian food at a non-Italian restaurant, but 75% of their items are Italian, so I figured it would be good. Wrong. I wouldn't go back -- not with a coupon, not even for free. Totally underwhelming experience.

I went there for the first time and brought a group of around ten people there. One of my worst mistakes. The food was tasteless and we found human hair in 7 out of the 10 dishes we ordered. When we confronted the chef....(who happens to have short hair) and showed her the numerous hairs we found, she stated that its impossible the food came with hair in it since there is no one who works in the kitchen with short hair. The dumbest thing I ever heard. She refused to accommodate us in any way and when we informed her we weren't going to pay for the items with hair in it she became outraged and called the police, who came and told her she was out of her mind . the only reason I have rated this with one star is because zero isn't an option. for those who gave this place a decent rating.....look closely next time you eat there......

One of the few places in West Broward to go eat. Milky Cafe has top notch service and the food is usually excellent. The portions are extremely large, so come hungry. They are not expensive for the amount of food they offer. Even the appetizers are very big and can be ordered as a main dish easily. I highly recommend their Greek salad; eggplant parmigiana; the french onion soup. Everything at Milky Cafe is delicious so you cannot miss out. They are glatt kosher a very nice atmosphere. Closed Sabbath days. Catering is one of their specialties too.

Delicious and fresh. Finally, a Kosher restaurant where the food is nicely presented, and the place is clean and tastefully decorated. I have now been here for lunch twice, and enjoyed both meals. I am looking forward to a return trip, and exploring the menu further. I really enjoyed the fried cheese (home made) as well as one of their hot pressed panini sandwiches. I also tried a cold sandwich on a very fresh bagette that was delish. As a very nice touch, they bring out fresh bread with 3 very nice dipping salads. I believe they vary according to the chef's creation each day, but I am hoping they have the olive tepanade next time I come in.

There were 5 of us and the waitress was friendly. They serve rolls with three dipping sauces, which was good. When the waitress served the Five-Star onion soup, she knocked down the full cup of water and it went all over the table. Luckily no one got really wet and the cell phone was grabbed in time! The waitress was very apologetic. The soup was not very good. It tasted watered down and unflavorful. What I really wanted to try was their Quinoa salad, but noticed that they removed it from their menu, so I settled for the PANINI A LA MARGARITA. This was good and cooked very well, but isn't served with anything, but sliced pickles. The other sandwiches are served with a salad or fries, but not the Hot Paninis and Toasts. The side sauce it came with was tasteless. The GREEK SALAD and the CAESAR SALAD were fresh (no wilted lettuce), but nothing special. There was also a Kids Pizza meal ordered and my son said the pizza was good. The side salad which was served with the pizza was prepared well. Overall, the food was just OK. The prices are fair and the service was pretty good, but I wouldn't make a special trip to go back.

Heard great things about this place, none of which held true. Despite there being only one other group of people in the place (who had already been served might I add) the wait was long. This was strange given that our order had been a simple one: 2 bagels with lox & cream cheese, and one chocolate milkshake. The milkshake was warm and far too sweet, and the bagels came unassembled

Subpar. Salads extremely overdressed. Tuna salad was just a big glob of plain tuna - no mayo, celery, or seasoning - on top of a very wet green salad. Tables were clean but the chairs were dirty. Service was slow, especially considering how empty the place was. I asked if they had any gluten free pizza, pasta, or bread and got no response. I asked if the eggplant was breaded, which it was, so I ordered something else. Think she could have told me that it, too, was breaded? Then she was surprised that I sent it back. Really? And the best part? They automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill without even letting you know. I'm sure many people don't even notice it on the receipt and end up tipping double. We were very disappointed and will not come here again.
