Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

This place is amazing. They always take the time to give you exactly what you want. If you want a little bit more just ask for it. Simple ingredients and good quality are the key to a good dish. I enjoy picking up the tacos if I'm not too hungry. I think it's one of the most under appreciated items on the menu. Take the time to enjoy your three little soft tortillas and try not to build a Himalayan mountain of rice beans steak cheese and salsa.

Average taste. They half fill the sauce container. Food handling needs to be reviewed. Food preparer touched the top of my food with the bottom of another container.

Good place and the food is great. Tip order online, the lines are too long at lunch time.

I come here a lot and it's hit it miss . There is usually a long line and it takes forever. Also one day I came here and they were out of rice ! It was probably better for me, but still ! If you come to this location, be patient because there will be a long line !

The love of my life! Chipotle Is the honestly the most amazing thing of life! GO CHECK THIS OUT!

I am a fan of chipotle for life. This specific location has my favorite team ever. They always make sure to make me feel great if I ever have any inconvenience such as guac or chips or anything else that has finished, they always make it right. My last visit they made sure to take care of it and made me leave happy! As always :) I love chipotle and this location!

I really dislike giving poor reviews but this chipotle (not all) left me with an awful experience. The line was relatively short and the restaurant was not very busy, so I expected to move through quickly. Needless to say, that's not how it worked. I got to the counter and began ordering.. Got to the meat - It will be ten minutes for steak. Okay. No problem. Ten minutes isn't bad for chipotle. Got to the cheese - It will be 10 minutes for the cheese. How can they be out of cheese? Okay. I'll wait. 15 minutes later the cheese is ready and my steak is likely cold. Eh.. I'm hungry. Just throw the cheese on there so I can leave. There were four people in front of me when I got there and it took a combined 35/40 minutes to order and leave.

Staff was just hanging out when they could have been trying to straighten up the place. They didn't have a lot of the ingredients I asked for in my bowl. First experience at Chipoltle wasn't a good one. I prefer Moe's.

This location is right around the corner of my job. Therefore during lunch I come here quite often as I do to some of the other spots in the area. First the Goods: There typically fast in this location, there are several people here during the madness of lunch when customers flock to this shopping center. The food is fresh and does have good flavor. I've had there burrito's, bowls and salads often and for a quick bite it does the trick very well. The Ugh: Plenty of employess but you need to leave your office early not to get caught up in line. While it moves fast, you can find yourself waiting 5-10 minutes to place your order since there is a herd of people who come. Space is fairly small here. Many times you need to take your food to go because you can't find a seat. While for sales, yes that's a great thing but I if I want to sit down and enjoy my meal I can find myself going back to the office or eating in my car. Conclusion: I give 4 stars because I understand this space is typically not busy during the day or night, just simply during lunch from 12pm-2pm since there are so many companies in this area. Even with the right number of staff its hard when the volume is high.

I normally love Chipotle but this location was terrible. I asked for some guacamole on my veggie bowl and got a shovel full that ruined the meal. Something was excessively salted. What a shame.

Food is always fresh. The restaurant is always clean and well-kept. The lines are always pretty long but I can understand because of the fresh and reasonably priced to meals you can't go wrong. I have a small issue with my web order but the general manager Lawrence corrected the situation in a very professional manner. Myself family and friends will continue to enjoy visiting this location when we are in the mood for a good fresh food and excellent service. If you are ordering to go I suggest you place your order on the web or smart phone app in order to avoid the lines.

By far the worst Chipotle I have been to. I travel the country for work and notice that all Chipotles follow the same service approach like any chain restaurant does, this location is lacking in a lot of areas. Here are some points I noticed: * no greeting from staff when first walking in * no greeting from first person in line * no energy amongst staff * work area dirtied with food * for my meal as well as the people before me, the portions were much smaller than what is average * no music playing * the 30 mins I was there no one came out to clean the seating area * LOTS of flys flying around while we ate * extremely used common areas, seating was well worn, restrooms were dirty These were the positives about this location: * easy to find * lots of parking * enough people working to service the customers. * enough prepped food to service the customers I hope this review will help improve this location, mostly importantly the management.

Been here many times. One time had my credit card break, and they gave me the order for free. Just now ordered ahead, and they were so backed up, but they gave me a free drink while I waited. Excellent service!
(5)Max B.
So relatively short line and the server completely skipped me and moved to the next person..as if I wasn't even there!! yup as unbelievable as it sounds.. Made it all the way the end of the line and told the cashier to perhaps staff should get more training and left. Compared to other location, quite a unclean place. Hopefully the store manager makes some improvements.

The Sunrise Chipotle is ALWAYS busy. I mean, let's be honest, check their location and the surrounding businesses and residents... of course they're busy! That's not to say that they shouldn't also be well staffed for such occasions but I do have to say that things have been slowly improving more recently. I love Chipotle and I'm glad this location is serving the pork again. The brand is committed to their food quality and every time I've gone out of my way to "complain" their management is always accommodating. They do what they can, no one is perfect. With all do that said there was actually NO LINE when I arrived tonight! Surprise! Maybe because it was a Monday? Either way, the food is always the same and I enjoy that level of consistency from any food business. My only recommendation is that their line staff needs to slow down just a bit and listen to their customers. You're not a robot. Be courteous, say hello to your customers, and be more than just, "guacamole is extra"!
(3)Ashley N.
Most every time I come here they are out of something..guacamole, cilantro, chips..dressing smh get you're lives together!
(3)Marcelo F.
I love Chipotle as a chain but this location needs to get it together. I waited for that long line on my lunch which is in the evening, now I understand ingredients like guacamole run out, that's not the problem but other locations will put a sign out on the door. Being vegan I got my veggie burrito and when I get by the guac the guy just said where out! Bam! Slam my bowl closed and tossed it down the line. Kind of pointless waiting in that line for no guacamole on a veggie bowl. A little sign can go a long way. So can being more polite.

I don't know where to start. I usually like chipotle and have been to other locations which have been just fine. Every time I come to this chipotle it's crazy busy and the line is almost to the cash register. It gets so packed it's uncomfortable to eat inside and considering we're in Florida it's too hot to even think of eating outside. They need to work on crowd control. People are pushing and shoving trying to get inside and the restaurant is not very well laid out or capable of comfortably fitting the amount of people that show up. Most of the workers are grumpy and make you feel like you're bothering them and they look miserable. I understand it must be difficult to work in a place that's so busy but they come off as rude and it makes for an unpleasant experience. The workers are also running around like chickens with their heads cut off. I had to tell them 4 different times that I wanted guac. The workers aren't very organized and it's chaotic. My fiancé asked for some fajita vegetables and the worker put it on someone else's burrito bowl. We also asked for some extra cilantro a couple of times and they never even gave it to us. The burrito bowls themselves were okay. The burrito bowl is big and they can really put a lot of food in there! The guac really adds to the burrito bowl and is tasty (guac is extra). Overall, the food was okay but the service and crowded environment made for a hectic dining experience.

Chipotle's short sighted strategy of increasing profits by reducing the portions of their burritos ( approx 30%) will negatively affect their overall sales in the long term. As a former loyal customer, I'm quite dissapointed with their recent approach.

Worst managed chipotle in south Florida. A secret shopper needs to be sent here to regulate on this location. It would have been be a better idea to drive to the one off Stirling road which is a far more efficient and clean location. At least the food is still good. I'm watching what must be the manager flirt with a woman on the line. I'm so happy he's working on getting laid.
(2)Annie A.
Overpriced garbage. I'm sorry, I don't understand all of the fuss.
(1)Marcelo S.
What can I say? It's chipotle. It's very typical just like most others I've been but this one is the closest to where I live. Everytime I go the food is always fresh and they're fairly fast so you don't wait in line too long. You can't go wrong with a steak bowl and brown rice yum!
(5)Joe W.
We got some great customer service here, but this place was loaded with college aged kids that have turned this spot into their hangout. VERY VERY LOUD atmosphere, and having some girl working the cash register keep asking "how do I charge for this, how do I charge for that" was really a turn off. When you ask for napkins, or ask them to rewrap a burrito because what they wrapped just busted through the top you shouldn't have to have someone trying to nickel and dime you to death! She might have been in training, but in front of customers wasn't the place for it. They were out of rice, and yet was still charging the full price!! This is why they got a low score from me.

Still the best burrito place in town. I noticed some people saying the service is slow, and I think they have addressed this. I went in today for lunch and it was very well staffed. Even though every table was taken, the line was non-existent. I was in and out in 2 - 3 minutes at 12:30 (lunch rush). Chipotle lines can be a bit long sometimes, but they always move at a reasonable pace. There is a reason it's so popular. The food is very consistent, cooked right, every single time.

An excellent burrito joint. A small menu of burritos, tacos, and such, but everything is generously portioned and tasty. Big burritos filled with your choice of meat, one of four good salsas, and the usual assortment of toppings. Nothing fancy or amazing here, except the price, portion size, and taste. They need to add some kind of melted cheese dip to the menu and an occasional "special" item on the menu might help freshen things up.

Burrito bowls, and chips with guac, how could you go wrong? Consistently good grub, but there almost always seems to be a need for help at the counter. I do really like how you can grab a cerveza with lunch though!

My favorite place to eat! Best Chepstow hands down.

have eaten at his restaurant three or four times. its always packed and i have never eaten in..always take out. get the burrito bowl to go. yes, i think at times they didnt put enough meat but the fact is you get alot of food fo the price. iced tea is really good too. i see high school students here at lunch time and wonder..what?

Chipotle. You were my last resort. Turned out to be a good choice though. I had never been to this particular location, as I had only been to the one in Kendall. So, when we (the bf and I) were looking for a quick bite this past weekend, Chipotle wasn't our first choice. We expected the food to be overly salty and bland, but we were pleasantly surprised. The guacamole was delish and, dare I say, better than Moe's! Although some of the chips did have an excess amount of salt, the majority were pretty good. They don't give you HUGE portions like Moe's, but that was fine because we didn't want to roll through Ikea later. My fajita burrito was really good. Although, I didn't add rice, it was still pretty tasty. My bf got a chicken burrito and that was delish! The place was packed and the service was good. Though they did forget our guac and we had to go back. But they were very apologetic and nice. I'm not totally sold on the Chipotle chain, hence the three stars. The one in Kendall, I truly despise. It could be the location. Or maybe they've really changed for the better. Don't know what it is, but I would not be adverse to coming to this particular location again.
(3)Elizabeth R.
The only reason I don't give this entire chain 4 stars is because it is fast food and very high in calories. The carnitas is amazing. The service is good. Not great, but these are kids behind the counter. I love the atmosphere, the concept and the general vibe. The fact that my kids are eager to join me every single time I suggest this place, is really all that need. Take it for what it is (fast food) and you will enjoy it!

Reallly close to my office in Sunrise, friendly staff, good Mexican food at reasonable prices....
(3)PJ B.
Have eaten at other Chipotle restaurants and this one is always a bit skimpy on the meat and extras. Food quality is always fresh and this is a great place to satisfy that Mexican food urge quickly. Service is friendly enough. Will return when no other viable choices are available.
(3)Michael S.
Interesting concept for Mexican food. Very simple and seemingly healthy. I've had the chicken burrito, it was pretty yummy. No complaints there. What I do wanna complain about is the fact you have to buy chips and the fact that, they don't have a salsa bar. This totally ruins everything. I love chips and salsa and I don't like the salsa being locked up behind the counter. I also don't like the face that a chicken burrito has an ungodly amount of calories in it. For fast food this place is okay, but I think there is better.
(2)Charles B.
I am not a big Fast food or burrito junkie, heck most of these joints (chipotlels -Moes- etc.. )kind of blend in with each other but having recently gone their on a lunch break from work all i can say now is DIOS MIO that is the best roasted corn salsa ever. I will and have gone here just to have that and some nachos.
(4)Joanna W.
I am giving this particular chipotle a 2 star rating for several reasons: 1. Service is slow, I have been to chipotles in many other areas of Tampa and Orlando and all have much faster service and a lot less attitude. 2. The line, it never ends! even on off peak hours. I lived across the street and trust me there is always a line and even if its 2 people or 10 its still unbelievably slow. 3. The staff are rude. On different occasions from the cook to the line staff I have gotten rude responses or comments. So much so I had to complain about it to the manager. And I don't like being that person. 4. The place is always a mess, how hard is it to clean off the tables so the birds don't attack you while your eating outside? Just so you know we absolutely love the food and the only reason we keep eating here is for that reason and if there was another location that was closer we would probably go there. If you are looking for good food Chipotle is the way to go, its healthy/fresh and delicious, its just the location and staff here make is lame..

As we stood in line for over 45 minutes, we saw employees eating on their break at the only available and CLEAN table in the entire restaurant. The manager had his foot up on the chair while eating his burrito meanwhile as we waited in line watching, the other tables went uncleaned for at least the 45 minutes we were waiting. When we got up to the front to order we asked if anyone could clean the tables since there wasn't one that was clean, to include the one the manager and another employee were just eating at. The girl questioned me, "there's not even one?" To which I replied, "shocking isn't it". To make things worse, the manager who was eating the burrito went right back to kitchen to assist without washing his hands. This place is so beyond disgusting, stay away!
