Opted for CPK as opposed to the noisy packed restaurant across the way. The décor in this CPK is not like the one located in Miami. It has a more rustic feel which I can dig! It had been years since I stepped in a California Pizza Kitchen... Espresso - good to know they offer this, I needed a pick me up after a long day in the sun! White Corn Guacamole - I would have preferred more Guacamole as opposed to a plate filled with chips... but it was good and loved that you could actually taste the white corn! White Pizza - Very good white pizza just wish there was more spinach!! Overall glad we chose CPK as we could actually have a conversation and I was pleased to learn of all the options that they actually offer on the menu, definitely more than just a pizza place!

Not bad at all. I met up here with a couple of friends and their adorable baby yesterday. Although it was lunch time on a Sunday there was no wait (although it was pretty busy by the time we left). The server was friendly and attentive, and made sure the kiddo had her food quickly (good call, server lady!) My buddy and I shared the Wild Mushroom Pizza with Truffle Oil and Chicken Club Sandwich. The pizza was really good and had a good ratio of cheese and toppings. The only thing that was odd was the fact they serve the truffle oil on the side... in a little dish. This made it a little awkward when trying to pour the oil evenly on the pizza, but I guess we were able to handle this daunting task :) Only gripe: I prefer my pizza to be crispy... the dough/pizza was cooked thoroughly, but a little more crispy would have been nice. The club sandwich was tasty as well, but big chunks of lettuce made it a little messy (the lettuce kept falling out with every bite). Again, we managed. Overall... great service and tasty food. Would I go back? Probably not my first choice, but I wouldn't object :)

I've been to plenty to CPKs in my lifetime and this is by far the best one. The service is wonderful and it's very fast. I tend to dine with my girlfriend and she is quite a picky eater they recommended something that we both could enjoy and they accommodated her food to her liking which was very nice of them. They have really great speciality drinks and one who doesn't enjoy pizza normally, I actually really love the various types they serve here. I recommend the Tostada thin crust with Cholula it's the absolute best. The little rolls for appetizer are great for sharing with a group of people. They have a nice wine list and a good selection of beer. (I love Newcastle) I do recommend coming here for a chill and nice place to hang with friends and not spend your entire paycheck.

Great for kids, fast seating and consistent food. Top orders here are chipotle chicken, avocado club egg roll and the salads are very good. For the kids the "do it yourself pizza" is always a hit. If it's very busy I recommend string by the oven and watch the chefs do their thing. Also the bar has great service and usually available seating. On the subject of seating the outside seating has great ambiance.

We came specifically for the Butter Cake. It was my daughter's birthday and that's all she wanted. Between the 4 of us we ordered 2 cappuccinos, a butter cake and a strawberry shortcake. The cappuccino were excellent. The butter cake was SUPER RICH, way too rich for my taste but others in my group seemed to love it. The strawberry shortcake was by far my favorite. The cake has a nice flavor and the strawberries were naturally sweet with not a lot of sugar. I would definitely come back again for dessert...and dinner!

Super good Pizza, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. I came here to for a small bite, perhaps something quick like an app or something just a place to sit and hang for a few, California Pizza Kitchen was the perfect spot. I ordered a small veggie Pizza with came with loads for drag grilled veggies and about 6 small slices, good enough for 2-3 people. The pizza was delicious made with high quality ingredients. We were lucky to grab a seat outside it was a nice warm night out and perfect for outdoor dining. The waiter was super cool and attentive. I will return again soon, perhaps a bit hungrier to order some of their other Pizzas. 5 Pizza rating

Very tasty. Moroccan Salad , Artichoke spinach pizza, Thai pizza and Zvegetsble pizza . All were delicious and presented well. Service was spot on and very attentive . Haven't been to Calif Pizza Kitchen in years. I'm glad they've kept with the times and have improved. I don't think I'll wIt so long to return.

Excellent Service, Delicious food, and really quick! My friend and I came in here for a quick bite to eat before the movies, the GM instantly told us he will expedite our order, and in 15min, we had gourmet lettuce wraps and ginseng chicken cooked to perfection.

I woke up tired the day after Black Friday knowing all I wanted to do was sleep in, stay home and have a lazy day. But that turned into my girlfriend convincing me to go shopping. I knew at that point the crowds were going to be everywhere and I decided that I would need good pizza to kick off the day. Since we were headed to Sawgrass Mills Mall, I decided to skip on all the other pizza places we have in the area and go for California Pizza Kitchen. I have not been to a CPK in probably five years so I was excited to finally go there. I guess I never realized that they also had a full service bar. Their cocktail menu looked pretty appetizing and I had a hard time choosing what I wanted. I decided to go with the Citrus Adobo Margarita. Being a Margarita lover, this was definitely a Hit and I would go back to CPK just for that drink alone. It was sweet and tart, spicey and sour on the finish. The Pizza menu looked good. Some of the classics were still around like the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza and Thai Chicken Pizza. For some reason, I was craving their BLT pizza but was sad to see it was not on the menu any more. I should of asked but did not get a chance to, I got distracted reading other things on the Menu. I settled for the California Club which sounded like a ramped up version of the BLT with chicken on it. It featured Nueske's applewood smoked bacon, roasted chicken, mozzarella, arugula, basil and avocado. This is a new establishment in the Sawgrass Mills Mall Oasis strip so the place was clean and nicely decorated. They had plenty of seating available at 1PM on Saturday but seamed like they had enough space for the busy hours. They offer Patio seating, curbside pickup and online ordering. I will be for sure coming back in the near future and trying different pizzas.

Hubs and i normally go to the Boca location, but today we tried the sunrise/ sawgrass one. As usual, the Gorgonzola pear pizza was delicious!! One of our favs!! We sat at the bar and had phenomenal service by Kristen!

This place is great! Friendly, fast and attentive service, great food, drinks and desert. Management is always around, checking on your level of satisfaction and quick to fix any issues that may come up. And for what you get, prices are very reasonable. In my opinion, out of all CPKs around, this is the best location. It's fairly new, just a few years old so design is modern and Cali casual, very comfortable and relaxing. It has both indoor and outdoor seating that can accomodate small or large parties. Some of my faves are: Jamaican Jerk Chicken Pizza California Club Pizza Quinoa and Arugula Salad Chile Relleno My hubby loves: Tequila Lime Fettuccine Barbecue Chicken Salad Jambalaya Oh yeah, nd deserts: You have to try Butter Cake and Strawberry Short cake, AMAZING!!! Check it out, you will be happy you did :-)

Good pizza, their deserts suck big time though. The Belgium soufflé and the butter cake aren't as good as they look. But my idiot friend still decided to leave a 12$ tip

Delicious pizza, great service, and great design inside the restaurant. Perfect escape from the craziness of the mall environment or after a long day shopping.

Didn't realize how many times I have been here. Long due to write a review for this restaurant. Side note: I'm picky about pizza and I actually don't usually like California Pizza Kitchen. All the other locations are just blah. Now that we have set that straight, let me tell you about this CPK location. It's set up very nicely with fire place tables outside, nice bar area with TVs and long tables, good regular setting area and a very clean and open kitchen. They opened a year ago and they just have been improving with each visit I have been there. The managers are nice and care about their customers. The servers are efficient and professional. The pizza is yummy and not very oily. My favorite is the pear and Gorgonzola one. It's very unique and the taste blends very nicely. Sam loves their California Veggie. I like the fact they have some healthy choices even though it's a chain restaurant. Their chocolate soufflé, tiramisu, and butter cake are great choices for your sweet tooth cravings. Go check this location out, it's good! Last note: download the cpk app and get some free appetizers and other rewards for dining.

would love to rate five stars and would if it wasn't in this mall. malls and I are just not feeling connected lately. I think im not alone. in any case, this is the closest location to me. ordered takeout. Hawaiian pizza and two thai chicken crunch salads. guy at front gave us bread and pesto dipping sauce too. everything really good. just pricey for takeout in my mind. décor clean and modern as this location is fairly new.

Inconsistent. My daughter enjoyed her salad entree. The pea soup had a lovely creamy texture and nice deep pea flavor but could have been served at a warmer temperature. The chicken Milanese was too thick. It needed to be pounded thin and served crispy. Today it wAs just so-so. The server was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was inviting.

I've heard about California Pizza Kitchens foreverrrr and honestly expected them to be comparable to fancy Pizza Huts so I never gave them a try... I found out last night that I was wrong. I'm not going to say that they are better than mom & pop's pizza parlors, but I did enjoy my food. Ordered the Caribbean sunset sangria in a carafe, which was absolutely delicious. Our glasses came filled with fresh mango, blueberries, and apples, which were nice to eat as a sort of dessert after the meal. As for the pizzas, we ordered The Works on flatbread and the original White Pizza. The toppings portion of the white pizza was pretty good, the crust was phenomenal! Wow! The works was soooo yummy, they used good quality pepperoni and sausages which made all the difference. It was delicious on the flat bread, but next time I'd like to try it on the original bread. The service at this location was great. They accidentally brought us a mushroom pizza instead of the white pizza and when I sent it back, the deliverer not only apologized but he sent the manager over to do so as well. Great customer service. And Mel, our waitress, was very sweet. ONLY DOWNSIDE: In my honest opinion, everything was a bit overpriced. Still good though

Food was great. Salads were awesome. Service was horrible. We got our appetizers before our drinks...ice tea water and Pellegrino...

The Good: - we walked up to the host and asked to see the menu. He was very friendly and explained some of the options. His personality was one of the reasons we decided this restaurant vs the conveyor belt sushi inside the mall - the same positive host allowed us to pick our spot in the restaurant so we chose one near the windows - the menu had a lot of variety and some items I had never seen including Kung pao spaghetti and Korean BBQ pizza where every dollar of the sale goes to charity - our server, Nikki, was also really friendly and awesome. She definitely helped with the 4 star rating. She refilled our drinks (mango lemonade and peach iced tea - both delicious!!) without us saying anything. That's a mark of great service. - the food came in a timely manner and before the food there was bread with an olive oil dip - we ordered the butter cake for dessert and toon it back to the hotel with us. Sooo yummy! It's worth trying it out with the whipped cream which Nikki out in a little container for us so that it wouldn't melt from the heat of the cake. The cake is slightly sweet but not overwhelming. - there is no charge to make the crust whole wheat - there is no additional charge to have two different halves on the pizzas - the pricing is pretty reasonable. $40 for two drinks, a shared 6 slice pizza and a cake with ice cream The Not So Good: - The pizza was just ok. We had half spicy chicken chipotle and half sausage/pepperoni with whole wheat crust. There wasn't too much chicken and it was buried in the corn and pepper topping. The pizza came with a cilantro crema which was fantastic. The sausage/meatball half really lacked sausage. On one of the three slices there was only one measly meatball which was unfortunate because the toppings were very good. The crust was slightly burnt as well. - On the menu there is an additional $2ish extra charge for ice cream. Nikki did not inquire as to whether we wanted it or not so we were a little surprised when we received the bill and it was there but since she was so nice we decided to just go with it. - When we got back to the hotel with the dessert we noticed that they didn't provide us with spoons to eat it with which was surprising because Nikki knew we were staying in a hotel. Thankfully we had a package of plastic spoons from before so we were able to eat the butter cake. Summary: We will definitely go back to the restaurant because of the uniqueness of the menu and our overall experience.

I came here on a casual date with my girlfriend, and ordered the Bolognese spaghetti with sautéed mushrooms, and let me tell you, not one Italian place can even come close to the rich flavor and perfectly made noodles. To add to that, every time I come not only is it a great atmosphere but the staff is always friendly, especially Tyna, who sold us on the Butter Cake dessert which is absolutely amazing and definitely worth a try. Great establishment all around, 5 stars ((:

Some of the best service I've had at a CPK. Our server was Katrina and she was very attentive. The food was great, standard cpk food. For dessert, we had the butter cake a la mode... It was phenomenal! We devoured it in less than a minute.

The restaurant was nice, modern, and clean. I really enjoyed the variety of the menu and decided to try the jambalaya pasta.. Glad I did - very good! The service was okay. We waited at the entrance for a host for about 10/15 minutes. Once we were seated, waited another 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. I bring this up because the restaurant was not busy (Sunday afternoon). Overall it was a nice twist on the traditional pizzeria and it's definitely worth a try.

I love this CPK. They still have the carnitas tacos here some locations (like Boca) have switched their menu to steaks and such, trying to be upscale. Not this one. Good service and is usually pretty quick. Limited beers on tap but a decent selection of bottled beer.

Worst pizza I have ever been served. A "white" pizza with so little cheese on it that most of it was just like a large, dry, crisp cracker. I should have sent it back, but I was with coworkers, so I did not want to make a scene.

Friendly service and although is a chain, the food remains loyal to its roots from California where I used to eat at quite often while living there in the 90's. The chicken tequila fettucini remains as my all time favorite along with their legendary BBQ chicken pizza. The strawberry lime margarita (shaken) is amazing!!! I am not sure if they make it with fresh strawberries but it sure doesn't taste like syrup. Love CPK!

We would've had a good time if they hadn't messed up twice. The server was great but the kitchen messed up our pizza and put BACON in it which is a serious problem because we don't eat pork for religious reasons. Once we told them, they took it back and the manager offered dessert but we were done. The other pizza we got was good (can't remember which one). They also made our virgin pina colada wayyyyy too sweet. It was like pure pineapple juice. Had to send that back too. Womp womp womp.

We had a very nice late dinner after spending the afternoon doing after Christmas shopping. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive. We had people in out party that had a gluten sensitivity. Management was accommodating and allowed us to have a gluten free pizza crust as our bread for an up charge. It was delicious! So I would recommend that you make that an options for those with gluten sensitivities. This was my first visit to this CPK and I will definitely come back again for another visit.

We had a bit of an issue at first. The food took like 45mins to come out and the pasta tasted like it had been sitting for a while. But the manager came over talked to us explained the situation. He was extremely nice and seemed to genuinely care. He turned what was a horrible dining experience into a very pleasant one. We really appreciated it. I think his name was Danny or denny. The food ended up being very good it was just a shame it took so long. I wish the waitress would have just told us, we would have been understanding....but she did not. Regardless the manager fixed the situation. I would come back again, and recommend to others.

So I have been to this location more than once, but I had BY FAR the best experience this last go around sitting at the bar with Ryan as our bartender. We stopped by at around 7:30pmish on a Friday night, and we ended up very happy to be sitting at the bar with Ryan. He was extremely attentive and offered each of us a great drink suggestion based on what we told him we were in the mood for. The drinks were fabulous! I highly recommend the white sangria- it's like getting two drinks for one with how big it is! The pizzas we ordered as appetizers hit the spot. The ladies and I are all in accord that we will come again sometime again for appetizers and drinks at the bar! :)

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
