Good for drinks and appetizers. If your a smoker this is the place for you! You can smoke cigarettes inside. The foods okay....nothing great. To me it's more of a place to drink, and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view of sunny isles.
(3)Shelly R.
I went there on Tuesday night, order a cognac neat, I smelled it and it was straight whiskey. This is happened to me 3 times here. It's actually disgusting knowing they marry cheap whiskey into a expensive cognac bottle and charge the price they charged. I sent it back and order a spiced rum, I diluted it with coke so I wouldn't really know if that was real rum or not but hey it tasted like it. The first bartender was not friendly and just seemed like she wanted to get out of there and the second bartender was a lot more nice and friendly but was too concerned with closing the bar down. Overall I like the ambience there and the music was really good, it's super chill at night but I just would not recommend anyone spending there money on liquor. I've also had food there in the past and I would give the food service a 5 star. Definitely a place to grab a bite to eat!

The manager of this place is a complete Asshole (with capital A) He yelled at me and called me an "idiot", just for asking him in a friendly/normal manner if we could please sit in a table outside. Please read all the reviews in Yelp; UrbanSpoon; YellowPages - no coincidence! They ALL complain about this loser "manager" who has an aggressive attitude towards the customers. I think this is sort of a "scam" where this specimen intentionally provokes you in order to then call the police and blame you against them. I don't know how this business is still active. I think it is not fair, it's unethical and it should be closed-down immediately!! I will report this business to all the authorities that I can, in an attempt to close it or at least to spread the word out. And to you "manager" - aka: miserable human being, I hope you read my review because this is just my initial, not to say, the lesser "review" I will publish. I look forward to your business closing down very soon. You rude loser. Get a life!

Aswome 3-4-1 happy hour good bar food full bar and friendly staff .I will recommend this place to people
(5)Sherif A.
This place used to be good but the services stinks and they don't speak English. The food came out cold and greasy and the waitress didn't even come back to see if we were happy with our food. Service is ZERO and when I spoke with the manger he acted like I was wrong. Don't recommend this place to anyone not even my enemies
(1)Kristen Alessandra S.
Best place for happy hour! 3 for $10 drinks, good drinks (none of this watered down crap). Definitely recommend! Maybe I'll see you there Friday!
(4)Crystal L.
Worst place I have ever been to. I have so many friends that have recommended me to come drink because they have a 341 special. I would rather go to chilies for their 241 than come here. The management is the worst management I have come across in a long time, and I would advise anybody to go elsewhere. I won't even go into the details of my experience, but I assure you, save your time and you're money. And it was my birthday.
(1)Andrey K.
Alert! Alert! Alert! The coustumer servise is horrible!!! Even manager of the place is Asshole . All staff are rude and unpolite. I wasl felling like I owes money to all of them. Please never choose this place as your destination if you want to enjoy your life. Senior or Mr. Owner of this place please make some changes in your staff . Your place is a dump. But, keep going, probably You think you are the best Business Owner!
(1)Lauren B.
We've been coming here for a couple of years now. It's our go-to Happy Hour spot as it's truly the best HH in town! 3-for-1 drinks until 10pm, 7 days a week. Great service at the bar, the bartenders are always friendly and attentive. Believe it or not, the best filet I've ever had! Even beats out Prime 112! Cut, age and season is perfection. The combo fajitas are AMAZING as well. The cobb salad is loaded with fresh ingredients and great presentation. The chef knows good food and he's never let us down in 2 years. The crowd is eclectic, but fun to watch and great live music on Friday nights. Only downfall is that they allow smoking inside, but we've come to accept it. Definitely one of our top and frequent destinations.

Bad Service . MAnager horrible . Staff Lazy . Food Ok . Price Cheap.
(1)Alodia H.
On Wensday night my friend and I went to this place for drinks. This time I chose to seat at the bar inside. The bartender (very young girl) disappeared for long periods of time. The service this time was terrible. I didn't care that much because we were there to chat over some drinks. But when the check came, she was overcharging us. Of course, she wasn't paying attention to us! When my friend ask for the manager, he came and all he did was apologize but he didn't solve the overcharge on the check, he didn't give us any compensation or solution. I'm sorry to say that I won't go back to this place. This was my husband and I place to go for drinks but not anymore. They need to take better care of there clientele. I have some other friends that don't like the place. Now I know what they are talking about!
(1)Yasa E.
Cool hangout spot that serves food really late. The calamari was good, the lobster crab dip was more like a seafood salad and didn't go with tortilla chips at all. Potato skins were solid, so was the cheese flatbread. Drinks were strong, service was great. I really liked the outdoor seating area.
(4)Violet G.
Years ago I stop visiting this restaurant, the service and food were terrible. Decided to take a chance and stop by with a friend (new to the area). Server was polite... I ordered steak sandwich (sliced), I was in disbelief when I started cutting off the chunks of fat. But! I was hungry and determined to eat, but the more I peeled the cheese off the more I gagged to the amount of fat. I just couldn't ... To end on a positive note: just an ok late-night spot for a drink, and that's it...
(2)Jill D.
Great place for happy hour. Reasonably priced drinks and appetizers.
(5)Alex R.
Good place to have decent drinks and watch your favorite team. Food is also good. Specially naked wings. We've gone there many many times. Yesterday 4/27/2015, my wife, daughter and I ended our Peruvian dinner earlier to make it here. So my 14 year old daughter could make it inside before 9. We made it, only to be told that we are out of luck since they closed portion of the patio due to rain and we had no table to sit. After we made attempts to get served the waiter turned out to be a total piece of work. He did not bother to do anything to accommodate us in any way. We have been to this place 3 times this week and when we mentioned to him that we are pretty regular guests and we're looking for him to help us out, the waiter proceeded to tell us that it made no difference to him. I guess we will have to go and spend our money somewhere else, and maybe it will reduce their revenue just enough for this rude waiter to lose his job. How about that for a tip!!!
(3)Yami R.
Best happy hour in Sunny Isles:..3x1 Love The vegetable Pizza... And you have to try the chicken wing!!!
(4)Jess R.
Terrible service. Waited for 10 minutes after our drinks were empty. At the bar. Ordered wings. They were great. They sat for 5 minutes before anyone noticed they were ready to come out. Bartenders aren't attentive or engaged. Won't come back.
(1)Z L.
Worse service ever! Manager was rude!
(1)Lydia T.
Great for drinks, scenery, and a night out! Appetizers to go with the drinks are good, however I would not recommend the dinners - not too tasty and quality is not the best. Definitely an appetizer/drink place for the most part. Recommend going here for an after drink or dessert!
(3)Katrina B.
Where else in Miami can you find yourself some 3-4-1's until 10 p.m.? I love this place. It's an old college haunt from when I went to FIU North, but every once in a while, it's nice to make the trek back over to Sunny Isles for it. The drinks are top shelf, the service is great, and the food is good enough! I really enjoy the vibe once the sun goes down and the restaurant is lit mostly by flickering candles and the lights shining through the large doors and windows up front. Great spot to grab some drinks both as a starter and just a place to sit and settle down for a couple hours.
(4)Dede M.
three for one happy hour till nine! Every night! We went Monday and then again on Thursday. I enjoyed the Steak Monday and on Thursday we shared all the apps. I especially enjoyed the capriccio and the calamari. I like to visit whenever I am in North Miami. The service is fast and friendly. Anthony was our server this last visit and he is very up to date on the wine list.
(4)Era R.
Worst place ever! Happy hour may be decent but don't be a fool and stay away!!! Manager needs a crash course in "customer service skills" and calls the police due to his own incompetency. If you want an awful and dreadful evening experience... This is the place to be!
(1)Caleb F.
Came here late night for some pizza. Was surprised by the low prices and decent food. Also liked the music and no automatic gratuity. Ill definitely have to come back again! Only ding was initial person who we talked to. We asked to be seated and she never said a word, only hear nods and odd looks. A different waitress who served us was nice.
(4)Andrea W.
Worst place in the area. Had a horrible interaction with the host (guy with glasses) insulted my husband and I..... Steer clear...
(1)Jerry C.
Good place to sit at the bar and have some drinks. They have a DJ on some nights. Lotta tools hang there though it's not where you are it's who you're with. The food doesn't keep up with its ego. I've had a few ordered screwed up and the wizard behind the sheet in the kitchen doesn't budge when something comes out poorly. Like it's your fault. Too many other places to go, they need to cool it a tad in that respect. But again. Cheap drinks and good music for kickin it low key.
(3)Andrea F.
this place totally won the award of asbsolut incompetence. 30 minutes to get service, I let the "manager" know about the situation and he replied "what do you want me to do? Do you want me to send someone over" wheter they were short staffed, or the servers were not doing their job, why would this manager be standing around staring at nothing. We could not believe this... my friends and I work in the hospitality industry as well and we never experienced anything like this. We couldn't believe the response of the mannager. If they want to continue having guest they need to change the management ASAP!
(1)Chris B.
Come here for the happy hour and nothing else. - Food is average at best - Service is slow (we loved our server she was just serving too many tables at once) - The manager SCREAMED at some lady right in front of our table. Basically, I would not eat here again anyway, but seeing the manager publicly shame a woman confirmed I won't be back.
(1)Tony A.
After all the mixed reviews about this place, as a nearby neighbor, this joint rules!. Simple, great drinks, and if u dont bring ur burdens here, the waitresses will take goid care of u by just being present!.
(5)Etele K.
So, Tuesday night 3 4 1 specials...one thinks that this will be great and might even get a good buzz on and am willing to fight through Wednesday for it! Umm, not really! The price is fair but the pours are also skimpy...might as well go to Duffy's where they have 2 4 1 and get the same amount of liquor for even cheaper than here...by $2... The food was actually very pleasant, the stuffed Portabella mushroom with stuffed crab meet was delicious and the Shrimp/Lobster dip satisfied the taste buds and the portioning was also healthy. The service, service...service...what is it with S. Florida service? Why is it worse than in third world countries?! We were told to sit anywhere we wanted to on the patio...it took her 8 min to greet us...if you can call it that...I'm still clueless what her name was, but did find out when paying the bill (maybe a bit late...). She did mention the Happy Hour Special so we started with that...so far so good, got our drinks and the waters...at 8:50pm I ask her if we could get another round before it ends so we can continue this pleasant evening and build on our buzz. She then informs us that we have to drink everything before she can punch in the next round....way to give a heads up to your customers about the opportunities...if I wouldn't have "bothered" her we would have missed out..so we slam the final drink and she comes with the next round making a comment that she did us a favor...huh?! Anyways, we eat and slowed down with the drinks, around 10:25 we ask for the second of the three rounds and with the attitude of a 12 year old tells us that it was over by 10pm. I don't even know what HER attitude was about but I was pretty upset about this ridiculous policy. I talked to the Manager...even worse!!! He tells me that I should have known and that we tried to order at 11pm which according to him is the same time as 10:30pm...lame excuses and this is always the truth...everything trickles down from the top... If your Manager is an idiot, then what would you expect from the rest of the staff... Why anyone would want to come here and waste their time and precious money when there are so many great places beats me, but you can't say I didn't warn you! BTW, so no one thinks I don't know what I'm talking about...been a Hospitality Manager for almost 20 years...enjoy my friends!
(2)Michael S.
IncreÃble...Fire this snooty uneducated not fit for this job dirty manager, had issues with him in the past but let it by because I've been going for much longer than he has worked there, last night around 1am while I was ordering to take out, a Kid around 20yrs orders take out, while waiting grabs a beer, food arrives and because he was not finidhed with beer, THE MANAGER ALLOWED HIM TO LEAVE THE ESTABLISHMENT WITH TAKE OUT ALCOHOL.....when I mentioned nicely to him that what he was allowing was wrong, he threatened to call police on me and that it was his word against mine..... unreal, never again going me out friends until this manager is fired. I will definitely report this to City inspections. No wonder Porterhouse has one of the lowest ratings on sunny isles even thought they have the best spot on beach.....DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR, A LOT OTHERS IN AREA. BY THE WAS Will you dared me ti write a review, here it is and next is report to city.
(1)Ronald S.
Service was good and food was average. But the fact that they have people smoking inside were I am eating is unacceptable. Never coming back.
(1)Sandra G.
Happy hour is amazing... But there is one thing that can ruin your night at this place... The pig ass manager. He was really rude with us and even called my friend a "bitch" and the thing is that she was trying to explain something to him and he told her to go away and called her that... Being a manager that is unacceptable and unprfessional... I know is the only place open until late in sunny isles but i have no idea why people go to this place... They should fire him seeing all the bad reviews i can see is his fault...
(1)David S.
This restaurant have a great happy hour. I have been coming there many many times. The food is reasonable. Twice I have experience terrible relationship with the chef/cook as well as the manager of the restaurant. They have a strange policy whereby if they cook the steak wrong they punish the customer and don't deliver the same type of meat. I have ordered a medium porterhouse steak. They have delivered me a well-done steak and I have complain, something I rarely do. From that point on, it was all the way down. The manager came out and just nonchalantly did not even apologize, just explain, that is their policy. Customer are wrong and the restaurant is right! I have never experienced anything like that in any other establishment. If you are satisfied with a good happy hour, medium Quality food hi prices and terrible managerial services, than I recommend this restaurant. This, by the way, happened to me before with another manager just the same.
(1)Juliet S.
I've been here for a week with my mom and aunt and I have been here a few times. We first came here because my aunt was sold on being able to smoke in the restaurant which u can't do back home Apparently they are the only ones with a license for that so if you are a smoker you will love it. Now I don't smoke but all 3 of us loved the place anyways The manager that wears glasses is awesome and they have pretty good service being that I have run into the most snobby and stuck up Miami servers while being here and I swear I wanna yell at them. If You come to LA everyone is nice well because we work for our tips but so many places in Miami automatically add it and they don't give a shit. Not here Every waitress or waiter has been really accommodating and nice so no complains there :) Food is good Prime rib sandwhich Chicken Parmesan Burger Nachos Salads Pizza So far no bad item and the 3 for 1 cocktails during happy hour is a great deal! Were going again tonight before we head home tmmrw haha
(5)Romy C.
Best chicken wings in town!! The outdoor seating area is the best. Inside is too noisy for me. Nice place to have a drink and of course...chicken wings!
(4)Dan F.
This place has a great bar and a fantastic outdoor patio for dining or drinks! And the best part is they have a DJ that plays amazing lounge house music at night. Haven't tried the food but it's a great place to people watch and have some drinks before going out.
(4)William R.
My favorite place in the world!!!! Best happy hour and I love the nachos!!! Love the music and it's on sunny isles
(5)Miami Diva D.
I got food poisoning from either the calamari or chicken wings. No fun to be in the ER! Fuck this place! Despite that, can't beat the 3 for 1 price on drinks! Too bad the bartenders suck. They will look right at you, pick up a glass or plate on the counter, then walk away. WTF!
(1)Elle S.
Nice i love this outdoor cafe, nice ambiance, food is pretty good while having drinks, i have been here with friends and dates its perfecto for any occasion. Seems like everyone wants to sit outdoors they got a large space inside mostly empty tables with a small bar.
(4)Laura R.
Awesome place to watch Heat games or just grab a drink after work. Their drink specials are GREAT! Service is awesome, the place is in a great area, and there is tons of parking. Although I didn't get to try the food, the items on the menu seemed unique and tasty; definetly trying next time I go!
(5)Tanya K.
The best Happy Hour in Sunny Isles 3 for 1 every day from opening till 9pm. The waitress are very nice and helpful. When you go there ask for Rositza.
(5)Andrew A.
Loved it. Great vibe decent drink prices considering where we are at. Food was good, place is packed pretty much every night of the week which tells you they are doing something right. Our group of about 8 had no problems getting drink after drink after drink...
(5)Silvia I.
I like this place, because of the few advantages it has, in my opinion: 1. It is one of the only places I know of in my neighborhood that's open late and that offers happy hours so any time I feel like having a drink with a few of my buddies I just go there; 2. The music played, is more of a mix of house, edm, techno and trance, which I do prefer; 3. They do offer inside as well as outside sittings; 4. The servers are nice, though sometimes the service is too slow, which I would classify as a disadvantage; The disadvantages of this place: 1. The food is OK, wasn't too impressed, I Do Consider it as being more of a "drinking" spot. 2. The occasional slow service. Overall I am fond of this place, have been here more than once, I do consider it as bring one of my personal hot spots.
(4)Sara N.
This bar is one of the only bars I have found in this area that is convenient and open late.. Which is why I tried it out despite the terrible reviews. At first, service is standoffish, and the atmosphere is kind of confusing. Usually you're not greeted right away and bartenders/servers seemed bothered by having to serve you. Loud techno music is blasting in a dark restaurant/bar and people are smoking and eating inside. But after the bartenders/servers see you're not an obnoxious stuck up creep, they become much friendlier and attentive. Christina and Vicky are great. Some sort of three for one special on drinks before 9 pm and two for one after 11 pm. I would only come here to causally hang out with buddies. Not a date place. Always an interesting crowd... Be prepared to make new friends.
(3)Cindy Z.
Went with the wife and 2 coworkers on a Saturday night, sat outside on a nice patio. Fantastic waiter, decent spinich dip, and above average wings. 3 for 1 drink special was great. Thats the good and now the worse than BAD! I left the ladies and went to the Cuban coffee bar next door to get a double espresso. As I walked back to the table, before I even sat down, the manager came up to me, got in my face and very rudely said I could not bring my coffee in. (They did not serve espresso) I asked him if he was kidding and he got even ruder, totally a jerk! Even the 3 ladies I was with couldn't believe his demeanor. I told him that I understood his policy but he didn't have to be so rude and he told me to get rid of the coffee. Obviously we won't be back and I hope the owner of the place sees this review and tells his management team that customer service can be taught!
(2)Rich D.
This is my favorite hangout spot. Jack, the manager is great. The food is amazing especially the wings and ribs. You cannot beat the 3 for 1 drink special.
(5)Christine J.
Typical beach restaurant.....overpriced w/marginal food at best & slow service....without the view! the restaurant is on highway A1A across the street from the beach w/no view. Avoid the calamari-it was deep fried rubberbands. Avoid the grouper sandwhich-it was a grilled piece of fish slapped on a bun. On the bright side- the drink selection was great!
(1)Ana B.
Convenient for a happy hour, two for one, service is super slow, not efficient at all, food is below average, sometimes the chicken quesadilla is good, I never seat inside because of the cigar/ cigarets smell, is soooo strong, very uncomfortable.
(2)Nicole B.
The inside stinks so bad like smoke but we sat outside on the patio and it was like another world from the dingy smokey inside. The food is a little pricey in my opinion I would rate this $$$ the 8oz filet I got was $30 but it was probably the best filet mignon I've ever had. My boyfriend got prime rib and also said it was one of the best he's had. Also there is no kids menu which I've never seen in any restaurant I've ever dined in so we had to get a 4 year old a meal fit for an adult. Also they did play like house music but we couldn't really hear it out on the patio
(3)Sabrina L.
I really don't understand why the low rating for this place. A couple of friends and I visited last weekend and had a good time. I ordered the spinach dip, couple of friends had their onion soup (which one of my friends said to be delicious)and I had a bite of a veggie pizza and was really good too. Our waitress could have been a bit more alert, but besides that, everything seemed to flow. The ambiance seemed a bit more on the "romantic" side, so I guess it's good if you go with your date. Big groups looking to have fun...not so much. I heard they have happy hour 3 for 1 before 9. Maybe that's when the fun happens!
(3)Shannon F.
This place turned out to be pretty good. On our way back to our hotel from south beach, we decided to grab a few appetizers here before heading to our room. Located off Collins, next to a few shopping centers, this place is very visible and not hard to miss. The place was blaring loud music which almost turned us a way however, I was still curious to check them out and get some treats. It was open seating and I got a nice table in the back facing the bar. A very friendly server greeted me immediately and handed me a menu. I ordered a glass of merlot before ordering an appetizer which came within moments and it turned out to be a pretty nice wine. We ended up ordering the mozzarella cheese sticks and some fried calamari. They arrived with in decent amount of time. There not alot of cheese sticks however, they were extremely delicious and the calamari was just to match. I liked the atmosphere and found it lively and entertaining however, the extremely loud music was quite a turn off... just a suggestion to maybe keep it down a few : ) Other than that, I would probably give it another shot.
(4)Pitt P.
Great place! 3 for 1 drinks! Gay friendly.
(5)Antonio K.
its not nice. Music is too loud inside, people are eating and screaming. It is really unpleasant since they tried to make a bar+restaurant and it didn't workout. It is like eating in a nightclub.
(1)Melissa I.
I have visited this place a few times. I like to give places that are TERRIBLE a second try. But it is considerably the WORST place I have been to-no exaggeration. To begin with the staff is not friendly, knowledgeable, or approachable. Good luck trying to get a drink from the bar if you are a female. Ultimately I asked the gentleman sitting at the bar next to me if he could order my drink and I would give him the money-no joke. The owner / Manager is an absolute moron. He actually had the nerve to tell me that my little boy was not allowed to have a balloon in his restaurant. The seafood pasta dish was bland, the calamari was rubbery, and the pizza tasted like a grade school lunch. If I could give this place -10 stars I would. RUDE RUDE RUDE
(1)Serge P.
I used to like this place, but not anymore. Girl next to me left without paying her bill. Found out that the bartender tried to put her drink on my bill. She gave me only the credit card bill to be signed without the bill. I'll ask her to see the bill and it took about an hour to get the real bill. You can tell she felt stupid to try to screw me and realize i wasn't drunk enough to get caught. Her name was Nichole. Don't thrust her at the bar. and avoid this place.
(1)Christopher D.
I'm actually surprised to find that this place has a cumulative review of 2 and a half stars... I'm proud to give this place a four star review. I wonder where everyone else thinks their shortcomings are? well for me, I enjoy the ambiance of the whole place. You have the inside that opens up fairly well to the outdoor seating that lays right on collins ave. Their prices are right and especially for the portion size. I have been here a total of two times and both times were enjoyable. Music is good, service is OK. Try the buffalo wings! They are epic!
(4)Ann-Marie T.
If I could I would give this place negative 50 stars. I have never felt so discriminated against in all my life. I went to this place with a friend and he noticed it as well. We were bumped and glared at by servers of which one rudely told us we were in his way. I noticed head shakes, eye rolls, stares and and just felt completely uncomfortable once I approached the bar area. The "host" told us he had no tables available which I understand because it was a busy Fri night. But getting a drink from the bar was completely impossible. The bartenders were so rude and short it was unbelievable. I live and hang out in Miami and have never experienced such out right bitchiness. We weren't even acknowledged (though two of them looked right at us several times) until 20 min later. Finally after the 20 min of standing there waving, my friend and I are both 35 years of age and were carded! The kicker is that the guy next to us commented that he couldn't believe she carded us because she hadn't been carding anyone all night. Ten more minutes roll by and still no drink, so we decided to leave. The over all vibe was terrible and so was the generic cover "band" playing. I don't see why people even go to this place. I will never ever return and I will continue to spread the word to friends. Terrible music, cheesy vibe, pathetic service, and trashy rude staff.
(1)Ellen D.
Best place we went to all week! Good food, great prices, extremely friendly and personable staff! Drinks were 3 for 1 from 4-9pm and half off after 11pm. Highly recommend this place!
(5)Marlene A.
Another table didn't pay their bill and they put it on our bill!! I couldn't even believe it!! The waiter also dropped red wine on my friends pants! The management is oblivious and horrible. This is by far one of the worst restaurants in sunny isles.
(1)Neen H.
You can't go wrong with the 3-4-1s here. Especially because jack Daniels is a part of the special. I went last night and wanted to sit outside but the hostess couldn't even quote a Wait time, so we went to the bar. A few minute later , the manager asked if we wanted to go outside still . I thought that was really nice of him for being so attentive. Thank you!!
(5)Rebecca R.
My bf and I stopped here on our way home after we couldn't get into Duffy's or Miller's Ale House to watch the Heat game. We saw this porch with TV's outside and decided it would do. The outside porch was great - 2 tv's on either end and many tables. The inside looks trendy/clubby and also had a pool table. I was expecting this to be another blah, expensive meal, but was pleasantly surprised! The drinks - we had beer - were very resonalbly priced and the food was great! I had a steak salad and they actually made my steak rare, as I asked, which is hard to do with strip steak. I'm always happy when restaurants are successful at that! We also got an order of the steak fries, which were delicious and perfectly crispy. Our waitress was pretty unfriendly, but we were used to that by now. ;) She kept our glasses full and cleared our food in a timely manner so technically she did her job well. This was a nice surprise for a random pick and there was a lot of variety on the menu that I would def go back.
(4)Gina H.
I walk in and up to the bar to check out the menu and have a drink while I wait for some friends to arrive. The bar is not what I would call super packed but its all guys up at the bar counter and after the bartender does her round of the counter twice ignoring me I finally do the "YO". Because I'm pissed off. I get a waitress to bring me a menu and finally get the bartender to bring me a beer. The rest of my group arrive and we get set up in a booth and then we move to a table because some others are coming. I must say, the whole entire moving from booth to tables thing was OK, but maybe that was more to do with the fact the place was only 1/4 full. I did get the feeling that the staff were working under a very strict management system as the waitstaff seemed nervous and awkward. I had the vegetarian pizza which was good, but the pizza base and sauce were obviously frozen, the grilled veggies on top were good. (for $9 what can you expect). This place apparently has 3-4-1 happy hour which we missed. Unfortunately, the staff seemed so unhappy to be working there its not a place I would go back to. OH...AND A HUGE THING FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE. THEY ALLOW SMOKING INDOORS

I was a bit nervous about this place after seeing it only had an overall rating of 2 1/2 stars, but on the night we came here, in my opinion, it earned a solid 3 or 3.5 stars easily. As part of a UYE, we had planned to meet at another nearby sports grill/restaurant. Unfortunately due to the NFL playoffs, and the fact that there is evidently little to do for the residents of Aventura outside of going to a sports bar in a shopping plaza, it was unbelievably crowded and we decided to find another place. Gina H., threw out the last minute suggestion of Porterhouse Bar and Grill, and I'm glad she did! This place is on Collins Ave. in Sunny Isles Beach, not far from Aventura. It's got a nice open patio with seating right on Collins, plenty of booth and table seating inside, and a rather large square bar off to the side with stools as well. I wasn't terribly hungry and just wanted a bit of food and maybe a few beers to kick off the night, so I had a chicken quesadilla and a few Coronas. What impressed me about this place is the speed of the drink delivery! Due to different groups in our party arriving at different times, the 7 of us who ate here probably placed 3 different drink orders, and each time the server no sooner took our orders and walked away than she was returning with our drinks. The food did take a bit longer, but the quesadilla I had was really good and was served with cups of salsa, guacamole and sour cream. Food was priced about right for this area, my quesadilla (which was a good size and had large pieces of chicken in in) was something like $9.95, and imported bottled beer was just over $5 each. Not bad considering where this place is located and the fact that we were here at 9:30 on a Saturday night. I'm told they have a 3 for 1 special on drinks during happy hour! The only real drawback IMO is that there were 7 of us and our server placed all our orders one check and either couldn't or wouldn't issue separate ones for us.

Living in Sunny Isles every day / every night this place is packed. It has a unique market as there is not much around here to sit outside and enjoy and with appears to be a very basic menu how badly can they phuck this up? Finally make my way here after all these years and reading some very negative stuff on Yelp had me arriving with a bit of trepidation. Much of what is said is 100% accurate. The staff is 100% Russian and very little smiles or personality is evident. It took forever for the girl to show up when she did her attitude was piss poor to say the least, not to mention she spoke little to NO ENGLISH. We ordered a couple of beers a glass of wine and 3 entrees. A cheeseburger, a steak sandwich and a chicken dish with pasta. Atmosphere is OK and energy is pretty good also. Nice sitting outside on a beautiful night as well. Food arrives and there are two cheeseburgers and the chicken pasta dish. I explained I ordered the Steak Sandwich, she looked at me like I had killed her dog and her response OK I WILL QUOTE THIS BECAUSE I ALMOST FELL OUT OF THE CHAIR! "Oh well this is already cooked why don't you eat this" I was stunned to the point of I didn't know what to say. After gaining my composure I told her I don't want a cheeseburger I want my steak sandwich. I can only imagine what they did to it in the back before it was finally presented to me. Keep it simple the food was actually better than average and the Steak Sandwich upon its final arrival was actually outstanding with big thick Steak Fries which were good as well. Pasta & Chicken better than average and the cheeseburger also good. Notwithstanding the awful service the unbelievable response to the incorrect order, no apology from anyone including management I guess a captive audience in a prime location will thrive regardless of how poorly its operated. Food alone very good, but service and attitude make it hard for me to want to return. A shame its right down the block too.

Should have listened to my fellow Yelpers on this one! Have to at least read my #3! First, let me tell you the Three Biggest Reasons Why They Get One Star: 1: We sit down to a table and order drinks. My dad orders a vodka on the rocks with a twist. Server comes back with his drink with a lime and lemon wedge... No ice, no twist!....in a shot glass.. 2: Our orders all had something wrong with it and the food.. Eh, not so great! 3: our server wrote "SUGGESTED" gratuity above the total cost of the bill $150.93 of the bill and then circled $178.09.... SO, my parents got really confused, as would most, and thought they needed to add more tip once it came time to sign because it seemed as though the $178.09 was the actual total! So when she went to charge our card we naturally expected to see $150.93 and add our own tip... But NO.... It was $178.09! Not a "suggested" gratuity then? So, someone who might not notice would maybe add tip! So shady and deceiving! Asked to speak to the manager and he basically said what happened was right.... No not right!! Total scam to make money off people who may are confused or not really paying attention! Never going back there again!! Red lobster would have been a better experience!

I don't know why all these people are complaining about the service. The service is friendly, and they keep bringing me a fresh beer as soon as I finish one and you can't beat their 341 happy hour. The food is good and consistent. The wings and the burger are my favorite. The only negative (now that I quit smoking because it used to be a positive for me =-) ) is they allow smoking inside but since the doors are always open you can barely smell the smoke.
(4)carol n.
good place for cheap drinks....3 for 1 is a plus but the food.....2 WORDS...FOOD POISONING...
(1)Chris M.
Avoid this spot, the food is the quality of something you would get in a third world country.
(1)Matt B.
I visited Porterhouse several times in last couple of weeks and I have nothing but good things to say. Place has very good vibe, there are always people around (good looking ladies too), nice ambiance as well. Service is very reasonable, and drinks are on the good side as well. As far as food, the nachos are bombing, pizzas are good, and salads very creative. Overall this is a good place, especially for the area. Locals and visitors alike should give it a try.
(4)Angela C.
Service was horrible!! Girl checked our ID 3 times and couldn't remember what we ordered!!
(2)Michelle D.
Love the place great prices, happy hour can be from buy one get one free to buy one get two free. The food is really good and very cheap. I don't like that smokers are allowed inside the bar
(5)Joe P.
New management, better attitude, great drink specials!!! They have come a long, long way
(4)Ben N.
you're setting yourself up for disappointment if you're coming here with high expectations. i've been going here for years so i've come to accept the good and the bad of this place. its a perfect spot for hanging out after work or a low-key date night if you're not trying to impress her. i personally i love to come here, sit outside, and take advantage of their 3 for 1 happy hour which is available open until 9pm which is followed by a 2 for 1 happy hour from 11-close. The dimly lit place and the warm miami weather add up to make a relaxing atmosphere. The food wont' blow you away but i always wind up getting wings (20 for 10 bucks) or a burger ($9) which isn't AMAZING but it always hits the spot. whenever i go there, i usually don't have a problem with the service but it can be miserable at times. they absolutely refuse to split checks so be ready to deal with that hassle if you have a big table. i usually just go and order at the bar which saves me a lot of trouble. in all, i think its a great place if you just want to throw back some drinks with some friends and kick it. oh and one more thing...this place may or may not be a front for the russian mafia
(4)Murat G.
I have been going to the Porterhouse for the last 4 years. The food is delicious, service is quick and professional. Waitresses there are very nice and friendly. And what i like most that the prices are acceptable and comparably lower than at some other places in the area. This place is busy every day and had established a very good reputation.

When paired with the company of fellow Yelpers, many establishments are bound to seem better than they actually are. Such, I believe, is the situation with Porterhouse. It was the first stop on an epic adventure that didn't end till the following morning, so admittedly, that probably buoyed my outlook of this establishment. Our waitress seemed a little off, out of it, sloooooow, but eventually, we all got what we ordered. Food came sporadically and rather slowly. I had a few bites of Sabrina's spinach dip, which was actually pretty impressive. Heavy on the cheese and the flavor. Then, I ordered a French Onion soup. As one of my fave dishes, I have to admit that it's tough to screw up, but Porterhouse still deserves credit for a delicious dish. I slurped it down, starved. I also sucked down several beers, thinking they'd be cheaper than at our next destination (which wasn't really the case). We didn't get a lot of attention from our lackluster waitress, but the food was solid, hence the star count. The atmosphere was eh. I liked the outdoor patio (although it was a little too chilly for us to try) and the darker, intimate atmosphere inside, but the fact that they allow smoking in a restaurant is a massive turn-off. I left smelling of smoke, and that's a no-no in Hannah's book. But as I said, the food was A-OK, so they earned their three stars. And the company, of course, was unbeatable. :)
(3)Jim F.
Pedro L said it perfectly below...food is good if you like to be ignored...wife's dinner came out with my app, then my dinner 20 minutes later. Service is horrible and management has an attitude! Will never go here again!
(1)Jake N.
Cheap drinks, right across the street! No fuss... Great place to smoke a cigar. Food is just like the way it always is))) but you don't come here for food!
(4)Pierre K.
I would give this place 4 stars if it weren't for the HORRIBLE service. I mean you feel discriminated against for not being Russian. Waitresses are simply atrocious. They are rude and will ignore you to the very end. The ONLY reason I return is because the 3-4-1 deal is simply too good to pass on and the food is actually pretty good. If only they could make you feel welcomed.
(2)Jennifer S.
Sunny Isles is rather dire for nightlife. But this bar isn't too bad if you must drink in this area. The real benefit is before 9, they have 3 for 1 drinks. Bonus!!! The staff are the most unfriendly ever! If you can deal with the sour faces, you'll get pretty drunk in your first 3 drinks. Food is so so, but its nice to have a bar with food since ordering several drinks might get ya a bit mashed.
(4)Maggie N.
We had just moved to Sunny Isles Beach from Long Beach, CA, where we were spoiled by being able to just take the metro downtown so that we could drink & not worry about driving. So, when my husband mentioned that one of his coworkers was raving about this place & their happy hour 3-for-1 drinks (every day 5pm to 9pm), I was excited. It was within walking distance AND a great deal. Then I checked it out on Yelp. I dragged my feet because the reviews were all so negative. I hate bad service. But my husband kept bugging me to try it so I finally gave in. Since then, it has become our favorite hangout. We haven't had bad service once. We went to dinner there with another couple and sat outside (we usually sit at the bar) and the server was a little slow with refilling the rounds but not to the point where we had to go hunt her down to get service. We've also sat in the main dining area a couple of times when the bar was too crowded & the service was excellent. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. No complaints at all. I'm thrilled that my husband finally convinced me to go. The waitress at the bar is sweet & remembers us. We hadn't been in for a while & she mentioned that it was nice that we were back. Ignore the negative reviews, take a chance. I suggest sitting at the bar the first time around, so that you for sure get great service. Try their appetizers, especially the wings & nachos! You can't beat 6 drinks & 2 appetizers for under $35!!!
(5)Wendy G.
Very good Mahi Mahi sandwich, Happy Hour over at 9pm 3 for 1 great Peach Martini, good service from our waitress. Enjoyable club type music after 9pm
(4)Rheno H.
We used to love this place until last weekend, when the manager allowed this couple sitting next to us to let their ugly pomeranian sit up on the stool and eat off the people's plate!! What was worse was all the waitresses were coming over and petting and kissing the dog and letting it lick their hands! Lord knows how many of the customers plates had been contaminated with dog dander and such. I immediately told our waitress to please wash her hands before bringing our food. She was completely insulted by this request but who cares, its my food!! What was so bad about the whole thing was that the manager was standing right there and could have cared less! Don't get me wrong, I love dogs and we used to love going here, but letting a dog sit right where we eat in a public place and lick the plate is completely unsanitary. They lost our business for sure.
(1)Lisa H.
Blah. Food was okay but not great (not seasoned). Service was okay but not great (auto added gratuities). We sat outside because there was a smoke odor inside. Pricey. Blah.
(2)Michelle I.
This was the go to spot when I first moved to Miami because it seemed to be like the local hangout for the Russian crowd and I needed friends. Well, instead I found horrible food and service. My caesar salad was watery and tasteless and the calamari gave me food poisoning. Went back for happy hour and our drinks came few and far in between and we ended up being swindled into paying full price for some because we ordered them after happy hour was over. Well, maybe if she didnt take so long it would have been a different story!
(1)Guillermo Y.
The worst restaurant in all area, our food never arrived and the manger was very very rude! It's a shame that such a nice place has the worst manager ever! He sucks and turns your night into a horrible experience!! Dont waste your money in this place, Never going back
(1)Heather W.
Well. . . I came in here with my sister and some of her Russian friends. I have a feeling she and I wouldn't have made it very far on our own at this place. The female bartenders behind the bar didn't even look at us until my sister's friend gave one of them our orders in Russian. That's a terrible thing to write, I know. Terrible, but true. And these reviews about no special orders and keeping it simple? Sorry. I call BS. You're in the service industry. If you don't want to actually serve your customers, find another occupation. The prices are cheap and the Oysters Rockefeller was ok. The pours were generous, but they definitely cater to who they want, when they want. The half dozen cops enjoying themselves in uniform were an interesting added touch. Oh and I live in California now, but didn't Amendment 6 pass in Florida? Tons of people smoking right into my food. Disgusting. Not a wise choice unless you know someone here and you actually like bad service.
(2)Kevin B.
Solid bar food, nice to sit outside, nothing special, 3 stars.
(3)Phil G.
Went there tonight after read ing mixed reviews on yelp. Very nice and efficient waitress. I ordered the New York strip steak . It was priced at $33.00 for a 16 oz steak. What came out was a 10-12 oz steak that outback would sell for $18.00. It wasn't bad ,but it wasn't worth anywhere close to 33$ if they want to call themselves "porterhouse" then the steaks should be fantastic. My wife had a salad and she loved it. My side salad was very good also. We had two glasses of house Cabernet that came in oval shaped funny looking glasses from the 70s. I took two sips and the glass was empty. So maybe we got 3 or 4 oz. for 8.50 each. I understand that you are across from major expensive condos and hotels, but if you want to build a lasting business you need to give a good product for a fair price.
(2)Karolyn M.
This is my second time coming here. I was dissuaded by the original comments written on yelp. First time we ordered wings and wine; perfect service and potions for the price. This is my second time. I ordered the burger, wings and oysters Rockefeller. Amazing food and all entrees were under $10. Plus 3 for 1 wine, beers and well drinks. Cost value definitely makes this place a perfect go to spot. Service at the bar, both times was attentive and correct.
(5)Anthony P.
Atmosphere was GREAT outside. Inside smelled and food is average. Would recommend it, IF you are staying at a hotel/resort nearby.
(3)Alex S.
Great admosfear, good service, I always like to come here to have some drinks and relax for a while in here.
(4)Allison R.
Its really not as bad as others are saying, may be a turn off for some but a draw in for others. You can beat the 3-4-1 happy hour everyday till 9pm and their wings are the best around. Yes, you can smoke inside and yes, the servers/bartenders have little to no personality, but overall not too bad. Great place to stop in after work for a few drinks and a quick bite.
(4)Chip D.
Food is mediocre at best, but it has the best drink prices in town for a nice location!
(3)Lola V.
One star is being generous for this place. Smoking indoors with food? Disgusting. At least confine it to the outdoor area! Yes, lots of Russian people working here and as patrons as well. That did not bother me, so much as the general attitude problem that the wait staff seemed to have. I don't get it. Don't you earn a living based on tips? And don't you want good tips? So then why the attitude? Our waitress was retarded. Good looking, but stupid and stuck-up. She didn't seem to understand what a "dry, dirty martini was" and seemed irritated that WE had to explain what it was to HER! If you don't know, EFFING GOOGLE IT! NOt that hard! I have no patience for people with an attitude problem. Nothing upsets me more than paying money to a person to be treated like shite. I would rather throw my money in the gutter than give it to a person like that. She finally brings us the drinks, and guess what, it was horrible. Tasted like half a jar of olive juice and two drops of vodka. I refused to drink it and I just had water. She of course, was NOT happy about this. Didn't even apologize or offer to re-make the drink or see if I wanted anything else. We left shorty after. I would recommend this place if: 1) You are retarded and don't know any better. 2) You like being treated like you are less than a person. 3) You like eating your food while someone blows smoke in your face. Won't come back. Would rather throw my money away.
(1)Mike U.
Smoking is allowed inside the restaurant and service sucks!!!!! The waitress staff continuously brought us the wrong order. Once you have paid the bill they won't even get u water. We complained to the manager and he expressed once you pay the bill you no longer are served. The waitresses don't even speak proper English, they were all Russian, the place looks more like a whore house rather than a restaurant the waitress were all flirting with customers. This place sucks do not go for the 3 for 1 (not worth it/it's a gimmick), especially if they will not bring u the next drink until u finish the one u have and they will not serve u the remaining drinks after 9:30.
(1)Carlos M.
I refuse to give money to this business. Too unfriendly would be a nice way to put it. Fire the manager.
(1)John R.
My wife and I visit many great steakhouses, like Ruth's Chris, Morton's, and many one-off steakhouses, so we know how the service should be and how the steaks should be cooked. For whatever its worth, I am President of a consumer products company so money is not an issue, I am usually calm and do not let things bother me, and I deal with consumer service issues frequently. The place was crowded but it still had several open tables, so it should not have been a problem for good service. I have never written a review because I am pretty easy going and usually just think if I do not like some place, I simply will not go back. I have never left a restaurant without leaving a tip even in my worst experience because it is usually not the fault of the waiter. This was the worst dining experience I ever had. We waited several minutes for our drinks, and the waiter was not very present. My wife ordered the French onion soup, which was ok, a little too salty, and we ordered a shrimp dip appetizer. They brought both at the same time, which is not how its supposed to be done. They did not ask how we wanted them served. My wife ordered her steak medium. Before she had even finished her soup, the waiter brought our main courses. He said as he dropped off the food, "The cooks are really busy and so I brought it out as soon as I could". I have no idea what he was trying to say, but I sensed something was wrong. And they certainly paid no attention to the timing of our meal. My wife cut into her steak and it was rare. So we called the waiter and showed him and sent it back. He came back about 2 minutes later and the waiter did not stay to see how it was cooked. But he did not bring a steak knife, so we had to wait another 2 minutes until we caught him and asked him to bring a steak knife. She cut into it again and it was still rare. It was not warm in the center. So she sent it back again. I called the manager over and explained what was happening. He did apologize and said he would talk to the cooks. He brought it back a third time cut into 4 pieces and burned on top. It was dry and overcooked. He said "its medium well now". But that wasn't what she ordered, yet he really did not care. As I said, I am involved in consumer service and I know when people care and when they don't. Attitude is everything. So at this point he is arguing with my wife about how the steak should be cooked medium. I have never seen a waiter be so defensive when it was clearly a horrible cooking mistake. At this point I now have a problem with both the waiter and cooks. I had started my meal, but then stopped eating until her steak came out so she would not eat alone. Finally, my wife refused her meal. My meal was cold, so I did not finish it either. I told the waiter he could keep her steak and we asked for the check. They had subtracted the steak but not other apology or consideration was offered. I would have refused any offer anyway, but I still expect some offer of convenience to be made. I paid the bull without tip. And we got up to leave, the manager walked away so I could not talk to him. My guess is a place where the cooks don't care, and the wait staff must defend bad stuff, is that is a poorly managed place. It always starts at the top. Which means if you choose to eat here, you are taking a significant risk of a bad experience. One more thing. The music was actually good, but so loud the whole place was very noisy as people had to talk very loud to hear each other. If you have more than 2 people in your party, prepare to shout. I will never go back.
(1)Melissa P.
I've read the reviews however I've been there several times and never had an issue. If you are going to give it a try a few things to keep in mind: Most of the waitresses are Russian and are really sweet but English is definitely not their 1st language and possibly their first job since moving here, so if they seem like they don't understand they probably don't. Keep it simple and you'll do fine. 3 for 1 drinks before 9pm, you can't beat that! House wine, some beer and well drinks. As for the food, the wings are great!!! My husband loves the burger, the fried shrimp and the chicken quesadilla. I always get the 8oz Filet Mignon, Baked Potato and/or vegetables with the Caesar salad which is always great. Again keep it simple, don't ask for anything special and enjoy your drinks!
(4)Mark S.
Average food, bad service, smoke filled bar area, but decent crowd.
(2)Renata M.
How do you think can they give you 3-4-1? They do employ these Russian girls for less than they would pay otherwise. Everybody wins except those who don't belong here! So they don't speak much English, that never bothered me. In all other respects, this place attracts lots of young crowd to Sunny Isles Beach, and they look really nice, and the energy is awesome!
(4)Bella S.
Stay away.....This place has no hospitality for tourist...service is slow and you will be ignored. The 3 for 1 happy hour....water downed.
(1)Erika C.
this place is awful service is bad and don't even think about calling the manager and complain because he is worse. Please don't waste your money in this place
(1)Devin P.
When you walk into this place you feel like your walking into an expensive hotel's downstairs restaurant or bar; this is not the case. The menu is crazy cheap and they have 3-4-1 beer during happy hour! No one does that outside of the N.O. Food is alright, staff is friendly. I wouldn't pick this place for a fancy occasion, but maybe a casual during the week dinner.
(3)Dan S.
Lived in Sunny Isles for two years and this place was great. All the the waitress's are Eastern European and typically not great but that is somewhat offset by them being young and attractive. Food is very good and substantial for the price especially vegetable pizza, wings and calamari. Happy hour from 5-9 with 3-4-1 drinks is absurd. The atmosphere on the patio is great. My fiance and I could get 12 drinks and 2 meals for $40-50 w/tip. Usually stumble over to the beach across the street after dinner. Kitchen stays open till 4 or 5am if your coming back from south beach.
(5)Marty W.
This place Mediocre. We were on vacation and staying at a nearby hotel. The Husband & I had a couple drinks and shared the calamari appetizer. The pluses to our visit were the calamari & the scene, being a people watcher this place has a nice & active outdoor set up. Minuses would have to be the drinks. Prices were not great & not a great beer list for the hubby. The waitresses were also rude and not super attentive, which we like.
(3)Lisa R.
My first time there was not great. Was visiting family and sat together at a table with my cousins friends that were there. After we sat together, the waitress says that the check can't be split. When the manager came to the table to try to ask why this can't be done, he came over with arms folded already and was a true jerk. I was making a simple comment and he barked at me and said "I'm not talking to you!" I felt so small. How do you do that to a customer? Everyone at the table was standing up for me and he said vulgar words and told us to leave. I was totally speechless. What a terrible experience! I don't even know if the food was worth anything because my appetite was ruined. I was just visiting so I don't have to worry about going to be belittled there again. But after reading these reviews, looks like I'm not the only unhappy customer.
(1)Dave C.
Decent food. Service is horrible (at the bar). You can smoke inside, and EVERYONE take advantage of it.
(1)steph d.
Four stars yeah, but its not for the food. 3 for 1 drinks from 5 til 9pm everyday of the week. Do I need to say more? I didn't think so.
(4)Dippi C.
Do not go here. The owners and managers don't know how to treat their guests. I demand boycott!
(1)Jenna M.
Still a great place for happy hour! This time we had the chicken wings... they were pretty good.
(4)James K.
I have previously written a review on this place. I have not gone there since that time and was forced to go for a friends birthday on a Saturday night... I thought that it would be cleaned up since than. Was I wrong? I was sitting inside 20 ft from the kitchen and I saw 2 roaches. One dead and another moving. ENOUGH SAID! NEVER GOING BACK AND would advise others not to go there either! oh yea the manager is still an A hole, the service still sucks, and they play the same music over and over again! on a Saturday night they can at least get a DJ not have the manager bring Madonna CD's from his car!
(1)Mary H.
Serving young women 3 drinks for the price of one and allowing them to leave is criminal. My friend had to sleep in her car before driving home. Make it a smaller price for a limited amount of time and serve food with it you dumb asses! Hope she never goes there again!
(1)Joseluis A.
i guess jm wanted revenge cause i took her to scottys to eat and she didnt really enjoy her meal (but she later confessed that she did enjoy my company and the beautiful view..) so ... it was 1am and we were around sunny isles. lets go for a drink i said, she said 'i know where' ... i trust my gf, there, i said it.. so i got on my motorola v360 crappy cell and got on yelp (wink wink iphone people of the world) mobile and despite the fact the low ratings for porterhouse .. i decided to go give it a shot. i have nothing to say about the location. its on the west side of collins on a generic shopping plaza. your view is the stop light and a shell gas station....the hostess seemed smiley but maybe shes smiley by default. she greeted us as soon as we got to her podium ... she said 'hi! how are you?' i said , good, how about yourself? she seemed surprised i asked her how she was doing... she was speechless for about 45 seconds... she walked us to our table and never got to tell me how she was doing. i hope shes ok :-) ... few minutes later, our waitress got to our table and ..guess what? she said hello how are you? and... yes ... again, i said that i was good, and i asked her how she was going .... and... same thing. she looked out of her element, didnt answer at all, skipped my question and asked us what we wanted to drink.... weird but... anyways, i got a beer, jm got a glass of wine... the clientèle at the porterhouse is perhaps unique .... a breed among guidos, papi-chulos and yuppies... very strange, so i just chugged my sam adams with style. joan finished her wine and we were out man ... we were so out
(2)Alex D.
the best to go there for happy hour 5-9 and chicken wings 20 for 9.95$
(3)Melissa J.
Smoking was being allowed in the restaurant by the management despite several no smoking signs and food being served. Smoking also occurred in the kitchen frequently by the management personnel and staff. I was at the restaurant with a large party and we all ordered a late night dinner. I inquired with the manager on duty whether or not smoking was allowed since there were signs stating that it was not allowed on the door of the restaurant and a large amount of food was being served. My party alone consisted of 20 people and each person ordered a meal. The four or five other tables in the restaurant also had food served to their tables while there were only three people at the bar only drinking. I asked the manager about the practice and he said that he allowed smoking, then lit up a cigarette and stood next to our table which also happened to be next to the kitchen. He was casually walking in and out the kitchen with his cigarette still burning and we could even see him smoking it while standing just behind the kitchen doors. The staff was also smoking before serving drinks (the bartender) and also prior to setting the tables and serving food (servers). I feel this is very unsanitary and Florida statues prohibit smoking in establishments where food is being served. Resolution Sought: I would like this establishment to abide by the laws of smoking in Florida and also not have the staff smoke while on their shifts. Cleanliness should be enforced by all parties, especially management and staff that are in the kitchen area directly dealing with food and beverages being served.

I live in the area and heard few stories about that "manager" who tends to kick people out and yell...ive never had an issue but a friend of mine told me recently that he got literally yelled and attempted to kick out him because he thought that my friend was hitting on one of the waitresses. WTF?!? Just went there on Friday night for few drinks...it was dead and some random dj playing at a school desk in the corner ... not much else really i can say about this place ....

TRULY DESPICABLE! I just left there - and this review is no exaggeration! 2 friends & I (all women) went there to have a cocktail and dinner. We asked for seperate checks and were told they could not do that. We accepted, but said we were paying with 3 seperate credit cards. At that point, we browsed the menu and one of my friends started discussing the reviews of this establishment she had recently read online. The server apparently heard us from the adjacent table and much to our dismay, returned telling us that the manger was refusing service to us! He literally kicked us out and refused to give us the drinks we had already paid for! We called the police! When they arrived they eagerly assisted us the best they could and after speaking to the manager they returned to us and said " you can't arrest someone for being an a*#^hole!" They have apparently had similar complaints regarding this establishment, specifically the manager. I dine out in Miami several times a week and have never in my life experienced such blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism! DO NOT GO HERE!

Well i guess the only reason we went there is the fact that it's the only place that open late at night . so that's a good place to have a couple of drinks when everywhere else is closed. but that's it. never tried their food and the servers are all beautiful Russian ladies which i believe that is what brings in all the men to this place. nothing else worth to mention here.
