Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut
Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Cruising the Atlantic Ocean in May, 2013 Stopped in Stuart Florida Marina,Had plans to stay two nights but left after one night not much help from the Dockmaster. I would recommend going to Vero Beach Florida,

My sister in law set me up here for two days of relaxation. The room was really nice overlooking the pool. Close to the beautiful beach, where I walked and left work stress behind.

Came here with my girlfriend for her birthday weekend. The customer service was amazing, the food was delicious and the room was very clean and well kept. On several occasions I asked for somethings that I needed and it was at my room within ten minutes. I never had to wait for anything. My only complaint is that you can't order movies. You're basically forced to watch whatever it is that's on locally or on the directtv basic channels. Other than that, 5 stars!

Stayed at the Hutchinson Marriott for a conference in Stuart! Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, gorgeous beach!!! We stayed in the hotel just off Ocean Ave and had a superb stay. For a moderately priced hotel, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of service and accommodations. All staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I'd definitely consider visiting again. Oh, And the hotel room beds are sublime!
(5)Patrick B.
Another great stay at a Marriott property. Hotel is seperated into two buildings. ....The Sandpiper which we stayed is oceanfront. It does have a Tiki Bar and pool........The Main hotel is inland, it has all the normal amenities of a nice hotel. The resort itself has golf, tennis, and a marina. ....so there are other activities besides fun and sun.......There is a small reef great for snokeling near the hotel. Overall great resort and staff, will return...........
(5)Brian F.
The service at this resort was outstanding! Everybody bent over backwards to accommodate requests and be kind to us. And this is not easy as I have family members who can be very difficult to please. I would've given the hotel five stars as it does need to be upgraded a little bit, but never fear... the service more than made up for it!
(4)Stephen B.
This is a nice place not a 3 star or 4 star more like a 3.5 star. The rooms are a little dated but still up to Marriott standards. The resort is nice, the elevators and areas around them need some updating. Beach area is great and a super short walk or free golf cart shuttle. The golf course is usually booked in the mornings, the course is executive and mostly 3 par. The back 9 are closed until April. Great area, great for walking and going to beach. If you can get this at a good price stay here. Also check out downtown Stuart.

We have stayed here several times. It is pretty nice and could not be in a better location. The beach is lovely - clean water and pretty uncrowded usually. If you can rent one of the beachfront condos, that might be more comfortable and even less expensive. We really enjoy the beachfront Tiki Bar that Marriott runs near to Sandpiper. Delicious food and drinks. Food closes down after lunch. Really nice wait staff - we always enjoy Regina and Cheryl.

What a great stay, staff is very nice excellent service, breakfast buffet was fresh and hot..I would definitely stay here again..homie feeling as well.

Don't waste your money. I chose their most expensive room and at $300 per night I could not be more dissapointed. Location is great and staff are friendly but this building is so rundown Marriott should be ashamed! Look at the photos I've posted and judge for yourself. Beware of bogus reviews on some sites! Really Marriott for $300 a night should we have an ant infested kitchen?

Not good 309.00 a night even out of season , staff is nice , the sandpiper is down on the beach we checked in went downstairs at 3pm the food had stopped service , we went to the front part of the hotel the food was 1 out of 5 and cost 80.00 , I used my bank card instead of my credit card and when I signed for the food they seemed fine , then the server came running into the parking lot chasing me down to say I was a cash only guest instead of charging my room like any normal resort would , very embarrassing . The rooms are small over priced and the main hotel was full of drunk conventioneers for and insurance firm , just lovely prefect MLK weekend , we checked out 4 hours after check in the manager was nice enough to give us a full refund and we went home . Thank god it was over , very depressing.

I travel a lot for business and have probably stayed at over 20-30 different Marriott properties in the last 5 years. I have to say this was the most run down facility I've ever stayed at. It's very outdated, the bathtub was stained, broken tiles in the bathroom, sliding back door was almost impossible to open, water took 10 minutes to heat up, etc. That said, the staff was very friendly and did a great job. Plus, it was just a short walk to the beach, which was nice. The reason I'm giving this place only 2 stars is because it was so ran down. I would not have stayed here if I had known what it was going to be like. I spend a little more money to stay at Marriott properties because I want nicer facilities. This was not like that, so until they put some money into renovating it, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

We stayed at Hutchinson Marriott ia while ago. We loved it. The room was nice, clean with balcony overlooking ocean and bay. Staff were very friendly swimming pool not too big but enough to relax. Definetly we stay again.
(5)Brian L.
This is a nice hotel and I was really enjoying my stay until I checked my bank account and found out they charged it two separate times that it should have not been charged!!!!!
(2)Jay M.
The staff was extremely friendly and always eager to help. The property was well maintained inside & out and the grounds were well groomed. The bed was clean and comfortable. We stayed at Hutchinson Island Marriott for a conference in September. The conference center was adequate for our sized organization and the food was as good as most conferences. A neat plus was a movie shown on an inflatable screen pool-side Saturday night. Close proximity to fishing and adjacent to an executive golf course. I would happily stay at Hutchinson Island Marriott if ever in the Stuart, Florida area.
(5)Allison P.
I've only been here to play tennis. They have at least 8 courts which are all artificial grass/astro turf. Some people hate these, but I actually don't mind them at all. The tennis facilities are actually quite nice. The only downside is that there's always a very strong wind here making play somewhat difficult. The resort itself is in a great location close to beaches and restaurants. Enjoy!

Went there for a wedding decided to rent a room make it like a little staycation, cause although I live about 25 minutes away in the next city over the bride had alot of activities planned and I didn't want to have to worry about driving, Upon entering the staff was very friendly everything was going great. The room was nice only problems was the balcony was dirty looked like it was covered in bird poop, but you can't control birds so I didn't complain...just cleaned it. Next, the shower while in use sounded like a m-80 going off whenever the water got hot and continued making that sound every 30 seconds, no biggie. Went to the wedding, and when I got back to my room I decided to sit on the patio for a little bit and wind down, when I wanted to go back in the door broke so I called the front desk and wait for a maintenance guy to come out. He was taking a while to get there and had to call a couple more times to complain and wonder where he was at. The lady I had spoken to the second time was nice gave me a $25 resort credit. Guy finally shows up fixes the door, fine. Now here's why I gave the such a poor rating...1st be warned DON'T USE THEIR PHONES...my cell phone died and the room had no USB charging ports so I used the room phone to call and check in with my family. They charged me for long distance calls now mind you that the area code for the hotel is 772 and all the numbers I dialed where in the 772 area, plus one of the number I called was a house that was 10 minutes away from the hotel. It would have been cheaper if I had just driven to those places to talk instead of calling since the amount I would've spent on gas was wayyyy cheaper than what they charged me for a phone call. 2nd DON'T EXPECT TO GET HELP WHEN YOU CHECK OUT & HAVE AN ISSUE...when I finally saw the hold on my bank account it was way more than what the printed bill was I called for an explanation. The once accommodating staff all of the sudden can't help and the person who can help is never able to be found. I left messages and they were never returned and they charged my card and that was it which kinda makes me annoyed for not complaining more for the stuff that was wrong that I had let go (4th of july sounding shower & shit covered patio), but whatever. Also, they wouldn't let me use my AAA discount, even though they are listed on AAA as a provider, claiming that I was already getting the room at a discount...bullshit...I pulled up the room rate per night on Marriotts site and it was the same. And I got charged that and then some. I will NEVER stay at that resort or even recommend it to anyone ever again!

My stay was great till time to check out. I went down to get a cart for loading my luggage and the bellman was very rude. I asked him if I could use the cart he had and he said no he was going to help another customer. I asked if there was another one I could use and he said, "stop shouting at me! I'll help you later!" I turned and left. As I walked away he started shouting that he will help me later. I said do not bother. I loaded all my stuff in my kids stroller and made 3 trips from the 4th floor. I was traveling with my wife and 3 kids under 6. Thanks guys.
(1)Catherine K.
This is the worst place I've ever been. The staff is rude, and the food at The Sandpiper Tiki Bar is awful. I ate there and was sick for two days throwing up and I had to go to the ER for food poisoning! Also, their drinks are way overpriced at $10 each. Steer very clear of this place.
(1)Rashonna T.
1st the service of the staff was wonderful. 2nd the property is beautiful. 3rd - The main hotel (not ocean side) is old and falling apart! The elevator was down Fri thru Sunday of our stay and we had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor. The 1at stair riser was rusted and falling apart:-/ The hall ways smelled old and musty/moldy? The room was fine, furnishing were ok but out AC died day two. This should not be called a Marriott, does not keep with standards.
(2)Nydia M.
Hutchinson Island is such a hidden gem! Probably the nicest beach along the entire Atlantic coast of Florida. I stayed here with my family for a few days and had a fantastic time. The hotel itself isn't huge, but it has a nice, updated lobby, very helpful staff, a great pool with a bar and restaurant, and all just feet away from an incredible beach. Restaurants, shops, and grocery stores are just a short drive away- making this the perfect spot for a nice relaxing vacation. We will definitely be staying here again.
(5)Erika P.
The elevator is very slow and no air inside that's the only complaint I have get your exercise in and take the stairs. Staff is very nice and prefessonial. I would use this hotel again.
(4)Pam D.
This is not what I think of as a resort. We paid extra for an upgrade to a suite. The room was old, all of the amenities were very cheap and old. No bottled water in the room and because we "upgraded" we are not within walking distance to the main part of the hotel. Internet is expensive $12.95 a night and additional charges for more devices. The view from our room is hideous and I just can't emphasize enough how old and dirty feeling the entire building is. Will not stay here again, we visit the area often because my mother in law lives nearby and we were hoping to find a nice place to stay when we come here but this was not it. Very very disappointed.
(2)Dakarai B.
This resort is amazing. The staff is friendly, they learn your name early, and they call you by your name often. This is by far the most relaxing place that I've ever been to. I've had problems here, but they've went above and beyond to resolve them. I definitely recommend this place. Single, honey moon, or family vacation it's good for all of them.
(5)Robert W.
Excellent establishment, clean, friendly, professional and courteous. I would definitely stay here again. Great beach access and transportation to beach. Swimming pools nice. Overall great atmosphere. Only Con: elevators were not air conditioned in unit we stayed in, not sure if this was norm or a temp problem being worked. Could use more recycle bins around premise and in rooms. Cudos for recycling!
(4)Tamara M.
We had a lovely weekend at this property - the staff was exceptionally friendly, even for a Marriott. Our room was perfect - a standard double with not a great view, but it was very reasonably priced and much larger than I had expected. We stayed in the main hotel and they have recently updated and refurbished it. The beds were soooo comfortable, the bathroom was roomy, and the sink and frig and microwave were an unexpected surprise. The Bahia Grill was outstanding for both dinner and breakfast. We absolutely plan to stay here again on a future trip.
(5)Jen E.
Since I had my towel card & room key still, I was able to check out the Sandpiper Pool & private beach at the Hutchinson Island Beach "Resort". The pool was plain and uninspiring and the tiki bar had clearly seen better days. The bartender was super nice and chatty, but the mojitos were made from a mix and the weren't serving any food because the kitchen is closed mid-week (which means the closest place to grab a bite to eat is the main hotel up the road). The beach was small, but nice. It was clean and there were lots of pretty shells on the sand. The lounge chairs & umbrellas cost extra ($20 for 2 seats - $10 for one), but the girl working the beach area was very nice. Since it started to rain, she said she wouldn't charge for the chairs. However, compared to the beach at The Breakers, this was strictly low-rent. And there is no drink service while on the sand.
(2)S B.
This place is really bad! We stayed at the Sandpiper building. It was suppose to be a suite but by my standars it was worst than a cheap beach cabana rent. The room was smelly. The walls dirty. Bathroom had mold in the tub. It was really disgusting. Has a terrible mosquito problem. Not worth the monney at all. Never staying there again!
(1)Charles R.
Spent a un-relaxing Labor Day weekend here. Our mistake was accepting a room overlooking the pool. To be clear I expect the pool to be crowded and noisy during the day; unfortunately there is no enforcement of pool hours at night, so we were kept awake by whooping and hollering drunks ( HEY MAN THROW ME ANOTHER BEER) and screaming kids at 2 AM all weekend. The family fighting and slamming doors in the hallway outside our room was an added treat. We're not the type to freak out when other people party, but the clientele here needs a shorter leash. I expect these things to happen at Motel 6 but not a Marriott.
