I truly do not understand what constitutes the buzz this restaurant chain seems to be creating. I was born and raised in Southern California and therefore I KNOW what a good burger is, AND I work very hard for my paycheck each week so I know the value of a dollar. Five Guys does not impress either my taste buds or my wallet. To say that the burger is "bad" would be disingenuous, but to say that it is "awesome" is at best a misrepresentation and at worst, a flat out lie. The five guys burger is not any better than any burger you might get at a mom&pop burger joint, it's on par with the new Thick Burger at Hardee's, although I much prefer the Thick Burger over Five Guys. The five guys burger is no better than a burger you would BBQ at home. The fries at Five Guys are BIG, one order will serve 3 people easily, which, if you're with 2 other people is great I suppose, but most often times I am not. The fries themselves are not to my personal liking because they leave the skin on them rather than peel them, and they're just too limp and too greasy. Again, I could make a french fry of this quality in a frying pan at home, I can make a BETTER french fry in my Fry-Daddy deep fryer. Lastly is the cost of a trip to Five Guys, I paid well over $10.00 for the small hamburger, fry and a medium fountain drink...that is ridiculous! Their prices seem way,Way out of line to me, particularly when compared to the quality of the food, which although not horrible, certainly doesn't justify the price paid, in my humble opinion.

This is the best messy burger I have ever had the pleasure of stuffing my face with. I get a cheeseburger all the way mostly because there are too many options to choose from and i'm lazy and and don't feel like playing chef with what I think might taste good on my burger. The fries are great! No need to order the large size because regular is plenty big enough for 2 or 3 people. Not a place to go out with a new person with because it's not a romantic site watching someone eat one of these burgers...just saying :)

Great burgers and even better fries. Order on line and no waiting at the pick up counter. But, if you want to wait, there are fresh peanuts to enjoy!

So I'll preface this and say that I don't eat burgers, but everyone else I go here with does, AND I had the veggie burger, so I think I can review it. I get the veggie burger which is not a patty, but grilled fresh mushrooms, onions, and cheese on top; plus whatever other veggie toppings you like. Delicious. Everyone devours their burgers, and say that they are amazing as well. Everything is fresh, not frozen, and cooked to order right there. Oh, and only get one order of fries for two people because they give you at least three servings. They are so good. Great place- BUT they only have beef, so don't expect to get a chicken sandwich. Also, they sorely need to add a chocolate milkshake to their menu.

I think their burgers are better than burgerfi their fries are more superior to any fries and we've had in the state of Florida so far we sometimes go there just for the fries we just found out recently that they have Cajun seasoning for the fries which is salty and spicy mix good for drinking with some beer we also enjoy the burgers there and their tea is really good so if you want a good quick burger this is definitely the place to go

Without a doubt the BEST burger in town. Everything is fresh not frozen and made when you order. Plenty of choices for toppings on your burger or dog. Then there are the fries. Hand-cut on site. Cooked only as needed and taste amazing. You get way more than you expect when you are ordering so be careful... don't let your eyes be bigger than your stomach. If you have not been her yet you really need to give it a try. Also have options for those that are not carnivores.

Five guys was awesome as always. The staff were welcoming and very nice. Food was piping hot and delicious. Got two cheeseburgers that were nice and juicy. We ordered a small fry which ended up being an equivalent of a large! Will return when back in town.

if you want a burger that is cooked to order and vrench fries that are not frozen, this is the place. the only annoying thing is the music is too loud. I may not like the selection but the volume is so loud it is truly annoying
