I have made the East Ocean Bistro my #1 restaurant choice whenever I'm in the area. The food is outstanding;a great menu selection and always consistent . The service is way above par; can't say enough about the staff, best in the business. Highly recommend the East Ocean Bistro! I only wish they had one here in NJ.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. Service was very friendly and the food was not gourmet but certainly very palatable, interesting deserts and first courses. We will certainly return. The prices amazingly economical.

Nice decor and tasty food for a reasonable price. Yes it has a limited menu, however what they serve they do right. I opted for the filet mignon atop sun-dried tomato polenta. The asparagus was thin and well prepared. This dish was delicious. My colleagues each ordered different items and they were both very pleased. We came for dinner and we will be back again.

Super food. Pork with apples and cranberry was 5 star plus!!! It is in a small shopping center so you will have to look for it. Cozy atmosphere would be ideal for first day night. Regardless of your age!
I went there for lunch with my wife and my children. Food was delicious! We had burgers with a salad and those were without doubt above average. We were so disappointed with the service though. My wife asked for a teaspoon to feed our 10 month old son. It never arrived. The waitress was accompanied by a trainiee, we were wondering why she couldn't bring it. The ordering process wasn't friendly. No smile whatsoever. When we left there was no thank you, no good bye. Just if we were air. We should you patron a place that treats you as air?! We definitely will not!

We went here because it got recommended by a coworker. And also $6.99 lunch specials on Thursday! We ordered a hamburger and an eggplant salad from the speciality Thursday menu. Food came quickly and it was a very positive and lovely restaurant. The hostess was full of life and made us feel welcome. The only problem is that the food wasn't good enough for their prices and their selection was very limited. I am glad that we tried it but I think I'm going to stick to First Watch.

We came on the recommendation from a neighbor. What a great find! This was easily the best meal we have had since we arrived in September. We ordered from the prix fix menu. Excellent options, including mushroom brandy soup or mixed greens for the first course, potato crusted salmon or sauteed shrimp among others for the second course. The creme brulet and cinnamon ice cream for dessert were a very nice surprise and a great way to finish the meal. For a pittance we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Bistro has great food and martini's a favorite in stuart.
We were a group of five. We didn't have any apps... went straight to entrees. Two meat loafs (AWESOME!), Sauteed rock shrimp in pesto sauce (AMAZING), Kobe beef sliders app as entree (DEFINITE REPEAT!) and the chicken entree (DELICIOUS.) Our server was outstanding. All of our meals were delivered piping hot. Great atmosphere which was perfect to have conversation but still had a good vibe.

In an otherwise quiet plaza, East Ocean Bistro is a great spot for early bird dinners, date night, or gourmet lunch. Thursdays they have a special lunches starting at $6.99, & other items like Soft Shell Crab Sandwich or Shrimp Scampi Tortellini are reasonable under $12. The dinner specials are wonderful & the chef is obviously experienced in preparing delicate but flavorful sauces & seasonings. The escargot was well flavored in a wine butter sauce. The blue cheese stuffed filet was cooked perfectly & my lumpcrabmeat topped Yellowtail snapper was a delicious offering. It was not crowded the two times I've gone-the decor is retro but nice.

Excellent food and a good (but noisy) atmosphere. I had a wonderful dish of yellowfin served atop polenta with a butter, shrimp and andouille sausage topping. My wife enjoyed the crab Mac 'n' cheese. The only drawback was the noise. They've apparently tried to deafen the sound with curtains and sound panels on the walls, but it's still a bit noisy. But with focus this good, who cares?

Delicious hamburgers. Had a filet mignon sandwich with all the fixings. Delicious french fries too. It's like an old time bar inside. And a great dining experience worth it!

Went in for dinner for the first time and lucky for us they had a nice early bird menu. Seemed like a very local and regular crowd. We had a very pleasant waiter. Drinks are 2 for 1 and on Wednesday they have a 50% off bottle wine list. The food was very good, I had the early bird meatloaf with potatoes and perfectly cooked asparagus. My hub had the calves liver & onions which also had potato mash and asparagus. Both of our meals came with a salad or soup selection and also creme brulee. We will be back.

100% meat selection of entrees, so vegetarians are 100% out of luck. Worse yet, when I asked the server to please assemble a plate with various sides to provide an entree option for the vegetarian member of our party, we were brusquely told the chef was 'too busy to deal with special requests.' (how difficult would it have been to put some potatoes and vegetables on a single plate, as these sides were clearly on every meat plate being served...) The food was better than the service or the attitude, but I certainly couldn't recommend it based on this experience.

Fantastic! Great food nice warm atmosphere, quaint! Great place to have nice conversation or take a date and impress her/him with the tasty food. The house salad with the house vanilla walnut vinagarette dressing is to die for. No complaints. The snapper was awesome!

My husband and I went out for dinner to try something new. He has been here with some of his co-workers for lunch. We had am amazing time, they had some wonderful specials 3 course dinner for $15, plus a drink special for $5. The brought two different breads with garlic butter. The salad was great and the chili, we both ordered Salmon, it was great too. The dessert we ordered was cinnamon ice cream and vanilla creme brulee with fruit was the best I have had ever. I am so glad the waiter suggested it. I can't wait to go here on another date night!

Tried this restaurant for the first time on Mothers Day. The food was very good--our server was very nice, but the two servers working had a lot of customers which slowed down service a bit. We will try the restaurant again.

Very nice. Good ambiance and the menu is lovely. Standouts include "The" Steak sandwich, grilled grouper, and duck confit salad (a good duck confit can make your day so much better). I often have vegan/vegetarian days, and there are nice hearty salads to fill you up.

The best way to describe East Ocean Bistro is this Zen Koan: When Banzan was walking through a market he overheard a conversation between a butcher and his customer. "Give me the best piece of meat you have," said the customer. "Everything in my shop is the best," replied the butcher. "You cannot find here any piece of meat that is not the best." At these words Banzan became enlightened. -- East Ocean Bistro is like that, everything is the best. Go there. East there. Be enlightened. I like the place so much I am actually friend with the chef, Todd. Try the lamb shanks, fried green tomatoes with rémoulade, and house salad with champagne dressing. It is that good. 6/5, absolutely amazing place.

First off..service was great. Atmosphere was superb. And the chicken liver appetizer was heavenly. I had the Grilled Filet Mignon, Nueske's Bacon Boursin Cheese, Pinot Noir Glazed Onions and it was melt in your mouth tender, cooked perfectly and kudos to the chef. Excellent. My wife had the Meatloaf - Ground Beef & Pork, Rosemary, Tomatoes, Onions, Marsala Gravy (she loves meatloaf) and she said it was the best she ever had. I commend our server on his professionalism, patience and kindness. He had a four topper with two geriatric couples who wanted to remake every recipe and promptly started sending everything back. Unbelievable. I'm surprised we couldn't hear (my imagination) the 100 megaton hydrogen bomb going off in the kitchen when the chef had to trash his culinary delights to suit the Stouffer's entrée crowd at that table. We absolutely loved the creativity and flavor of the chef's creations. Thank you.

So my wife and I were galavanting through Jensen Beach, when ALAS...we came upon the East Ocean Bistro on, where else? Ocean Blvd. To our pleasant surprise, it was Early Bird Special time!!! Whoopee!!! Three course meal at $14.99 was hard to not do. Both my wife and I had the Vanilla Bean Vinaigrette Salad....delish..meatloaf was absolutely scrumptious - and we are meatloaf eaters, and as a dessert, the Creme Brûlée - which was to die for. Being 48 and 50 yrs old, we were the youngest by twenty years at the time we were there. But it made for a quiet dinner. I will highly recommend this establishment - food, ambience, and service was well above average, and a definite return to eatery!! Great job!

A group of 6 of us tried this place last night, and everything about it was great. We got there early to try their before-6:00 specials, and the options you get for less than $14 are a steal! From the vanilla bean salad dressing (who would've thought that would be so good?), the spicy venison chili (awesome!), the shrimp tortellini pesto, the garlic and onion covered filet, and the calves liver (where can you find that on a menu anymore?), we loved them all! We even had to try a few of the appetizers, and they were all excellent. The desserts were also amazing, with the blackberry Cabernet sorbet and the creme brûlée being our favorites. Bottom line - we will DEFINITELY come back here again. If you are looking for a great meal, good service, and decent wine selection, come try this place. And if you want to save some money, arrive before 6:00 during the week for their sunset specials - you won't be disappointed!
