Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

We are boaters who walked by the restaurant by chance and liked the look of it. We went in without reservations and had a delicious dinner in a cozy setting. The service was very good, friendly and efficient. The entrees came with good salads and mine with a side of linguini. I had eggplant with spinach and prosciutto (a special) and my husband had seafood pasta. We both really enjoyed our dinners and will be back the next time we're in Stuart.

The Palm Beach paper described this place as "The Best Kept Secret on the Treasure Coast" They were absolutely right. It is housed in what once was a residence. The ambiance can only be described as romantic. Food is outstanding and the nightly specials are incredible. Our server was an absolute delight.

This place is really quaint. We sat in the garden room and had a fantastic dinner. I had my favorite, the fettuccine alfredo which was very rich and delicious. The cappuccino was excellent and the birthday wishes written on the dessert plate were a thoughtful detail. Can't wait to go back!

Uniquely decorated Italian restaurant formerly French cuisine with a romatic ambiance. Food was delicious, the Garlic Clams had an amazing broth. For our entree, my boyfriend enjoyed tender and savoury Veal and I had a delicious Salmon with Shrimps. A litte disappointed that they were out of Tiramisu for dessert but settled for the Chocolate Creme Brule which was fabulous. Waiter was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The Chef came out to meet us and showed interest in our opinion on our meals and chatted over the restaurant's history. We will definitely be back!

ambiance , service great, veal sooooooooo tender; however, sauce rather bland. Chefs need to taste their sauce.

I went to Casa Bella for Christmas Eve with my family. I truly had the worst experience of my life. Waited 20 minutes for a table (when I had a reservation ), waited a half hour for water, and was given no apologies by the blonde hostess. As a New Yorker I am in tune with the food scene. This was the absolutely worst !!! I urge all of stuart to NOT go to this establishment. If a restaurant is short staffed that is one thing- but to be given no apology by the "owner" cooking in the back is absolutely ridiculous! Horrible horrible horrible

First time there, wont be the last! Ambiance was romantic on tha "porch" of this converted old house. Service was attentive, friendly and informative. Great selection on the menu even for a vegetarian! The presention of the food was picturesque and the flavors were very good. Bon Appetito!

Jerry is an amazing chef. Our total dining experience was excellent. Home made ravioli was delicious. Our wait staff, Dan, made us feel right at home with first-class service.

Very disappointed. We have been here in the past (over 10 years) but customer focus has slipped recently: Upon arrival, requested a quieter table as we were placed right next to the kitchen. We were told it was not possible even though there were a number of open tables visible at this time. The reservation map upon review showed that this was not our original table. We were crossed -out from our original reservation, perhaps because an earlier complaint from some other, earlier party. Avoid a table reservation to #6, it is the worst seat in the house, right next to the kitchen and wait staff. The food, we know is good here, it still is, despite the change in management focus. Additional comments from our guests: Lipstick stained wine glass. (simple attention to detail is needed here). Table #5 and #6 on the seat map are absolutely the worst in the house. Finally, our party requested a split- bill and we were told that it should be additional charge per blll of $1.50 each per check. Really? We spent $150 on a on a sub-par experience for customers that have been with you for 10 years. For a nuisance charge? Really?? We have been coming here for 10 years. We miss the old Casa Bella!. If things improve we will provide an update to this review...

Amazing experience. Excellent and knowledgeable waiter who was very prompt. The eggplant appetizer was to die for. The salad and minestrone soup were wonderful. The shrimp scampi and veal were delectable and the tiramisu was out of this world. This is a restaurant that uses high quality ingredients, cares about taste and the entire experience. Being from the north, it's hard to find good food in Florida, but this is definitely a diamond in the rough.

I want to Casa Bella on the recommendation of a stranger to tell me it was the best restaurant Italian food in Stuart. THAT was my first mistake. It's a charming little house extremely hard to find without GPS directions. I was greeted by Travis and Freddie who were pleasant enough. I was seated at a small table at the end of the house. There were four elderly people who were screaming at the top of their voices because they were deaf but you cannot hold a restaurant responsible for that. I ordered a bottle of super Tuscan wine at $24 , a cup of soup and chicken scarpariello with which I'm very familiar with and have eaten it not only all over the. United States but also in Italy. It is a presentation made with fried or roasted chicken on the bone with roasted vegetables and sausage and usually serve with spaghetti or another pasta on the side. I waited 15 minutes to get bread and water, 10 minutes after that I was informed the bottle I wanted was not available and hadnt been available for year and the owner never took it off the wine list. Apparently he called it his phantom wine. The waiter then suggested the next election under that and that I needed to get selection 88 the closest to it and surprisingly an additional $12 a bottle making it a $36 a bottle. for one person. Mind you , I only intended one glass but as I have just gotten some great news I wanted to celebrate and having savored this dish in Tuscany with this type of wine I decided to splurge. I was nonetheless looking forward to my chicken dish. Lo and behold 10 minutes after that I'm informed that that bottle is also not available. I then told him just to get me a plain $ 7 glass of Chianti. When it finally arrived the wine was way above room temperature has been placed in a frosted glass like a beer. I tasted it and it tasted worse than any vinegar ever had. 10 minutes after that when I finally got my pasta fagiole soup I told him that I didn't want The wine and to just get me a Diet Coke instead. The soup was lackluster and the pasta terribly aldente. Imagine my shock when almost an hour after I ordered I received a plate of plain deboned chicken breast in swimming lemon butter sauce that look like a fish dish rather than the savory roasted chicken dish that I wanted. the sausage appeared steamed and was tasteless. I explained to the waiter that this was not what I had expected and ordered. in his defense he offered to bring mecsomething else but because I had an hour and a half trip back to my home I told him to leave it but when I took a taste I almost barfed. I had wasted an hour of my time and was presented within an unacceptable dish and had lost my appetite so I got up and as a courtesy left a $20 bill to pay for a cup of soup and a Diet Coke, in my mind I was being more than generous. I made no incident and proceeded to my car in the front handicapped spot when a bald tall man claiming to be the chef accosted me in the parking lot tell me that I cannot leave without paying but then when he realized that I had left $20 proceeded to insult me and tell me that I knew nothing about cooking that I lacked class and came aggressively towards me. I told him I knew food and to back off. I jumped in my car and drove off fully intended to file a police report but instead I called the restaurant back and told the waiters what had occurred and to have owner call me in the morning. I called an attorney friend who told me not to waste my time if i wasn't planning to prosecute and for me the best thing that I could do was to file this full report on yelp. This is a very nice little restaurant. Cute on both then outside and inside. It's quite small and appears to be converted from a house. I absolutely love the ambiance and wanted to give this place 5 stars based on that alone. However. The escargots we had as an appetizer were lackluster, quite bland and without any real flavor. The salad was served COLD - right out of the refrigerator, the plate still cold and the thickly sliced cucumbers positively frigid. The small dinner rolls that are served prior to the meal come only with a roasted garlic - no oil or butter. Hmmm... The minestrone soup was good and the Chilean cabernet sauvignon was also good. The linguini with white clam sauce and the veal parmigan were also fine. Based on all of the above, I think this place would deserve 4 stars. However, a definite downgrade of at least a star is in order due to the waiter Michael. Be very careful with him. Before ordering, he mentioned one of the evening specials to be a veal chop. I was uncertain, so when ordering he pushed this item again and I said "fine" I'd like it. Then, as he was about to leave the table and put in the order, as an afterthought, I asked how much it was. He said it was $32! Everything else on the menu was in the $15 - $19 range, yet he pushed this item on us without pointing out the price. I switched my order to something more reasonable. As you can sense, i was quite annoyed by this waiter's attempt to increase the charges, and correspondingly, his tips, by slipping a high priced item through without our knowledge. Please feel free to give this place a try, because it really could be a pleasant experience, but beware of the waiter Michael. Perhaps they are all trained to do this -obviously, I don't know.

Thought the food was good, but not great. Service was excellent. My wife and I both got different veal entree's. My veal had a hot spice in it that was unexpected. Wine selection was fair to good. Don't think I'd go back. Kinda stuffy.

Food just ok, nothing special. Got stuck in the converted garage even after making reservation a week ahead. Service mediocre, had to ask many times get refills, etc. There are much better italian restaurants within a couple miles
