First time here saw a sign out front that said breakfast lunch and dinner. When we arrived there were two people inside eating. We sat outside waited for about five minutes and already knew what we wanted. Now mind you, no where on the menu did it say what time breakfast was served until and when the hostess sat us she didn't inform us nor did the server. So, my boyfriend ordered the sweet potato hash and then she informed him they stopped serving breakfast at 2pm. We were there at 2:45. Before you tell a customer no, you ALWAYS go ask the kitchen! Come on your going to tell me in 45 minutes all of the breakfast items just disappear in the kitchen and can't be prepared? Especially when there are only 3 tables in the Resturant and 10 employees standing around chatting. Needless to say we will NEVER go there again. Very disappointed.

Food was pretty good but service was not. Also, appetizer came out frozen and had to wait an extended period of time then for main meals because they wanted to get the appetizer out before the meals. This doesn't work well with children. Staff was friendly, however.

Decided to try this out and wish I hadn't. My 3-cheese quiche was more like an egg pie in a pie crust with some velveeta on top. The side was canned fruit salad and the plate was garnished with some wilted lettuce. $7.95 and barely edible. The atmosphere was as depressing as the food. My Diet Coke was alright. Maybe it's better at breakfast, but I don't see the point in taking that chance. The staff was pleasant enough, so I hope they can get jobs on a better restaurant.

So glad I tried this restaurant! The staff was awesome, dinner was fresh and really tasty, good dessert too! Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Not only for the meal - My husband had to do something on the computer and had WiFi problems. He did everything possible to help him. Problem was hubby's computer , not the restaurant! Everyone else didn't have any problems. We appreciated everyone who was helping us out! If you're staying at Jaybird Inn, show your room key for 15% off!

Haven't eaten here for a few weeks. Our goto meals were salmon benefit and shrimp chorizo grits. Someone must have reconfigured the way meals are cooked, because the shrimp grits were quite bland and appeared to be precooked. And the benedict used a pc of French toast with a very bland (and cold) holidays sauce. Very disappointed. Use to eat here 2x a month. ' probably not be back for a while. Definitely not worth $38.

I came here on Mothers Day with my family. We sat outside, it was a beautiful day! They also had fans, so it wasn't too hot There was live music and the service was great. The food was also delicious. Its a great choice for a breakfast/brunch or lunch close to the downtown historic district.

Was looking for a good breakfast place and we found it. The mango smoothie was perfect and not pre made. The eggs Benedict was excellent and the ham added a great touch. Chocolate chip pancakes were good as well as the egg sandwich. Would recommend.

Tried Jaybirds for the first time (dinner). Average food, definitely overpriced. For a chicken sandwich and a house salad it was $14.20. My husband's fish and chips - fish on the greasy side and fries were definitely "refried". On a positive note, our appetizer which was spinach and artichoke dip was very good. Probably won't go back.

Beautiful outdoor patio seating. Overpriced and limited menu with little flexibility when ordering. Cuban sandwich and chicken parmesan pretty bland. Black beans and rice tasteless. We won't be coming here again. Too many better choices in SA.

The breakfast here is excellent. We have been twice. Both time Melanie was our server. She does a great job!

Eh. Not good, not bad. Kind of a nicely decorated Denny's or IHOP really. Outside patio looks cool, but was cold when I went.

Excellent! Must see this place! The ambiance and decor is really special. Menu is huge and unique. - Something for everyone. Food is very fresh and yummy. Staff are very friendly and courteous. I've been here for lunch a bunch - close to my work! And dinner a few times with friends. They have good live music sometimes too!

Decent food. I ordered steak and eggs for breakfast. I ordered the steak medium. The steak was well done and very hard. Also, it looked like it was cooked earlier. I'm not saying it was but it did look like it was. Everything else was fine.

We tried a Pepperoni and BBQ Chicken pizza and both were very good. Overworked, apologetic wait staff. Decent selection of beers.

Definitely nothing special, the food was fine... There are so many cool places in St. Augustine. I would have rather found somewhere else!

Hooray for getting lost looking for a pizza joint!! Jay's was clean, friendly, and DELICIOUS!!! The pizzas are hand tossed, which delighted my kids, the house specialty drink and Cuban were better than my husband expected. The burger I had was large and perfect after a day of traveling. Please, do yourself a favor and eat at Jaybirds.

I ordered 2 take out pizzas one a margheritta and the other a cheese pizza.. When we arrived the pizzas were cooked but the Margherita pizza was not finished. I had to wait while they talked on the phone then they cut the Basil and put it on the pie. They then had to assemble the boxes. All the time the pies (both) were sitting out on the counter the pies were put in the box and I was handed cold pies. The cheese pie didn't have much sauce both pies had to be heated when i arrived home. I would have left but i already paid pizzas were on counter for over 10 minutes before I was given them

Excellent breakfasts: skillet with the pork green chile add-on (apparently a Colorado thing), and the huevos ranchero + chorizo. While waiting, we wandered around admiring the wonderful nature photos everywhere...taken by the owner. Also noticed the lovely and large outdoor area.

To begin, I want to say that this was my first trip to Jaybirds and I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It seemed as though every palate and craving could be satisfied by this wonderfully eclectic menu. My friends and I were there for a 12:30 brunch, so we were excited to have both breakfast and lunch options available. The service that we received is the sole purpose for this rating. I have never had a more ridiculous and unprofessional restaurant experience in my whole life. Our server was an African American man named "Nate" (although I wouldn't be surprised if he gave us a false name). We knew that something wasn't right with this guy as soon as he got our drink orders. My friend and I arrived before the other 2 in our party did, so we just got drinks at first. Nate came up to get our drink orders and this is the conversation that ensued: Nate: Hello ladies Us: Hello **Crickets** **Crickets** **Crickets** Nate (angrily): What do you want to drink? From this point, we were a little confused at the man's social abilities, but nothing else really sent off red flags. Nate brought us our drinks and not long after the other half of our party arrived and sat down. Then Nate came back to get their drinks. Things seemed to be working out just fine. Then, Nate came to get our food order. We each went around the table ordering our food. Then Nate says, "Wait, how are you all paying for this?" We replied, "Separate checks." Then Nate said, "Uhhh, okay," and proceeded to crumple up the ticket and ask us to order our food again (he was carefully drawing lines to separate our orders on the check this time), and off Nate went. We were at Jaybirds for a friend's birthday so we quickly began chatting and catching up. After 45 minutes went by, Nate came to our table and said, "Food should be right out ladies." The look on his face however let us know that our food most likely wouldn't be right out. Nate came back 2 minutes later and said, "You guys are gonna be mad and I can get the manager if you want me to, but I threw away your ticket and never put ya order in." At this time it was 1:30 and one of the people in our party had another engagement at 2:00. She had to leave without getting any food and head to her appointment hungry and upset. The three of us that remained decided to wait for the food and asked to be moved to the patio so we could at least enjoy the nice weather while we waited. At this point the rest of the wait staff tended to our every need. Three different women (all wonderful and lovely and professional) refilled our drinks, brought us silverware, delivered our food, and checked on us a few times to see how we were doing. Up until this point, I would have never even thought to write a poor review. I've worked in restaurants and I know that mistakes happen. The conclusion of our dining experience is what drove me to feel the need to share this experience with others. Nate came by when we were finished eating to grab our plates and deliver our checks. We were charged full price (which was surprising considering the horrendous errors that had been made...not even a free bloody mary!?) but we were willing to pay since we hadn't "gotten the manager" like Nate had said we could have done. When he put the checks on our table he didn't say "no rush" or "take your time" like most well-trained waiters and waitresses say. No, instead Nate set the checks on the table and sat there, arms crossed. We all got our debit cards out in the midst of the awkward silence and handed them over. He came back, dropped them off, and then walked away. When he returned a few minutes later we had not yet filled out the tip and signed off on our checks. Nate came and interrupted our conversation, saying, "I hate to rush ya'll, by my nephews have been blowin up my phone all day. Even my wife know not to call me at work. They be calling me asking what they should eat for snack. I told them that them carrots in the fridge are for snack. I am gonna whoop their buts when I get home, boy. But I need them checks now so I can get outta here." So, he stood there while we filled out our checks, awkwardly wondering what to do about the tip and feeling self-conscious with the man standing over us. After we handed him our checks he thanked us for our "patience" and walked off. Three hours later the most terrible brunch experience was over. My friends and I all decided that the food was good enough that we would like to go back and try it again. However, I say shame on Jaybirds for hiring this man and keeping someone so incompetent and unprofessional on their wait staff. I am still in disbelief at this ridiculous man.

The food was better than I expected and the service was pretty good. I believe this place used to be an IHOP but it's been completely redecorated and the pool out back has been filled in with a garden. Though the decor is nice, it's kinda hard not to notice this was a former IHOP, but the food blows away any IHOP food... there's no doubt about that. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our breakfast here, probably the best breakfast we had the entire trip.

We are locals and stopped by there last Thursday evening for a quick dinner. We both ordered and Lasagna. Our food as brought to the table by the male who sat us when we arrived. The lasagna was served in a baking dish on a liner dish. He warned us it was extremely hot. I cut a piece and attempted to eat it after blowing on it for a while. It was so hot you couldn't get it near your mouth. I asked him if he would bring a hot pad from the kitchen so I could transfer the lasagna to the plate to help it cool faster. He said, "It's still going to be hot. You just need to wait and let it cool down". I asked him again to please bring me a hot pad. He replied that I didn't need to do that. Finally I asked him to just please do as I requested. He snatched my plate from in front of me and took it to the kitchen. Upon bringing it back, he plopped it in front of me and said, "It's still going to be hot." and walked away. I said to my companion, "Do you believe his attitude?" With that, he whirled around and came back to the table insisting to know what I had just said in a loud voice. I told him I didn't invite him into my conversation and he was being rude. He said if it was about him or "his" restaurant and he had a right to know what I'd said. I told him he was very rude. He told me that we could just "leave if you don't like it" "As a matter of fact, get out. There's the door." With that, we both got up and walked out of the dining room. There were several customers watching this spectacle with mouths agape. In the hallway, I asked him for his name. He told me he hoped I didn't think I could get him fired. I told him he was a very insolent jerk who obviously has a problem with women who know what they want. He actually followed us outside, yelling comments. We left before it got any worse. ALL THIS BECAUSE THE LASAGNA WAS TOO HOT! We will NEVER go back there and will tell this story to anyone who asks for an opinion of Jaybirds Restaurant. I thought about calling and talking to the owner, but decided that since this guy was the MANAGER, our complaints would be intercepted and never reach the owners.

We really WANT to like Jaybirds...we've given it 6 tries and like the live music in their nice walled courtyard on weekend evenings. However, we will never eat the food again. At least 3 of the 6 times, the food tasted old, iffy, and all four of us had low-level food poisoning after having pizza there last week. From the first bite, something tasted "off" like the dough was moldy. It's sad because this place used to be good but has gone downhill. Also, three times our check was wrong (too high) when we examined it and added everything up. It was always with the same waiter and fortunately we did not see him last time.

Nice place for a weekend brunch. Food tasted great, and menu selection is pretty good. Staff were friendly. The outside courtyard love is very welcoming and serene, although we didn't get to sit there due to heat wave in St Augustine at the time we visited the place. Will visit again.

Not only is their food outstanding (clean, fresh, delicious and their pizza...scrumptious), but their hotel is amazing. Clean, newly remodeled everything. It's old Florida meets South Beach boutique. The customer service is fantastic. The employees are very accomodating. Just keep in mind, this is not a chain which is refreshing in itself. The drive down from Jacksonville to their restaurant is worth the 30 minutes or so journey. Top notch. Highly recommend :)

I spent 4th of July in St. Augustine and stayed at the Jaybird Inn. When I checked in; naturally I asked the front desk clerk for a recommendation on where to have lunch. Of course, she recommended the Jaybird restaurant next door. I chuckled so hard I startled her as I told her I knew she would say that! Nonetheless, we ate there to avoid having to get back in the car after almost 5 hours of driving. I had a patty melt; it was on point. The side of potato salad unfortunately was not. It lacked flavor and the potato chunks were too big. My wife chose the curry chicken salad sandwich and what a mistake that was. It had so many raisins in it that it should have been listed on the menu as a curry raisin salad with hints of chicken. Needless to say; one bite later it was sent back. We went back the following morning for breakfast as it seemed like their true wheelhouse. I'm really glad we did. I ordered the Jaybird skillet with a biscuit. It was heavenly; chock full of sautéed potatoes with green, red & yellow peppers as well as cheddar cheese, rich sausage gravy and to boot; two eggs any way slathered on top of this mountain of magnificence. One word; fantastic! And just when I thought that my taste buds couldn't be tantalized any further I spread butter on the homemade biscuit. By far the most delicate, flaky and flavorful biscuit I've ever partaken in. The portion was mammoth and could only take down half of it. The servers are super polite and cheerful. Something that I rarely see in my native Miami. It's a shame!

We had a great experience!! The food was really good (get the Cuban). It's kinda iffy from the outside but the inside is really pretty nice. They have a great out door area. The best part was our server. Ask for demia. She was arguably the best server we have had in a long time. Made the experience. The dessert bar looks dangerous too, but desserts are pretty pricey here!

We came here after reading great reviews. We were not disappointed. We've already been here three times. The eggs benedict was Amazing! The pancakes are HUGE! Not only is the food great but the service is too. Very friendly and attentive. Ask for Cherie as she's AWESOME! Our vacation is almost over but we plan on coming here before we leave.

The breakfast here is so good! The banana pecan French toast...WOW! But beware if you're a diabetic bc you'll need a huge dose of insulin! For less sweet, try a pancake (they are bigger than your head so one is probably enough for 2-3 people) or the omelettes!

This place was recommended by a friend. I was a bit disappointed when we couldn't get a room at the hotel, but having breakfast at the restaurant seemed like a nice consolation. My boyfriend likes to eat outside, and the really nice outdoor area was an added draw. We had a bit of a wait to get into the restaurant, but the staff was so friendly and nice that it didn't really matter. Our waitress was a peach and a half. She was also training another waitress, yet it never seemed like she was being stretched too thin. She was bubbly, friendly, and attentive. I ordered the Jaybird's Skillet and my boyfriend had the Crunchy French Toast. The meal was really nicely presented and very filling, but it lacked on flavor. The menu said there were peppers and onions, but I barely tasted the peppers and I didn't taste the onions at all. Also the entire dish was severely lacking salt. I made ample use of the salt grinder at the table and it did help a bit. I also ordered the chai latte. It was a bit watered down but tasted okay. My boyfriend swears by the Crunchy French Toast and the bacon was perfect as was the lemonade. It may have been a bad day in the kitchen, but I did enjoy myself. We'll give it another try the next time we're in the area, but I won't get my hopes too high.

Great breakfast. Omelet was just right. Sweet tea was perfect. Brand names condiments on the table (Heinz - Smuckers - etc). Obviously this restauranteur cares about quality. We will be back!

Food was okay. Kind of a hole in the wall joint. Not sure what they are thinking with the decor. French toast wasn't very big. Bacon was delicious.

The best homemade food and service in town. Make sure you as for Cherie , she is the bomb!!!

I only had breakfast here, but I enjoyed my food both mornings. I had biscuits and gravy (with thyme) one morning, and a veggie breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious and filling. The menu had plenty to choose from and the staff at this restaurant was friendly with quick service. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend! Be aware, the portions are huge, definitely enough for sharing

Happy to see the local restaurant and hotel doing so well. Still one of my favorite places for breakfast. The best homemade donut you've ever had! But not my fave for dinner. The food preparation is inconsistent. One time it's too salty, another will be over cooked. I know the menu has changed again to find what works best for their clientele so I will continue to try things. It's one of few places on the north end.

  • Patrick D.

Well, it's a hotel restaurant. Sometimes these kinds of places are good, this place was ok. The chicken sandwich was just that, a piece of meat on bread. The beer was as much as the sandwich, which is good I suppose. My girlfriend and I split the sandwich because we just needed a quick bite because we had a meeting to make. The waitress kept asking us to order a salad or soup, which at first was nice, then it was just frustrating because we just wanted to split a sandwich. and after all of that, we were charged $3 to split a sandwich, and were not informed of it at all. The sandwich came on one plate, not cut in half, yet we were charged. A bunch of crap if you ask me. Spend a few more bucks at of of the many other quality restaurants.

My husband had the cuban sandwich and will not stop talking about how wonderful it was. My fish tacos were good, but not the best I've ever had. There were a lot of items on the menu that I would have liked to have tried! The service was wonderful and the bartender superb. They had a great outdoor area that I would have loved to have taken more advantage of. I will definitely be coming back!

I went on vacation to St. Augustine and made reservation at the Jaybirds Hotel. I booked this place because there is a restaurant next to it with great reviews. After dining for lunch there, I would say it is mediocre. The server was inattentive and forgot our order. The pizza was ok, but we rather have great service above all.

I had a broccoli, mushroom and cheese omelette with grits. My wife had corned beef hash. The food was excellent and so was the service. The restaurant was very clean. Hidden gem, recommend for breakfast.

Stopped in recently to give this place a shot- been hearing a lot of good things, and seeing as how big this place has expanded (to include a hotel next door), I figured it had to be good. Although this place is really trying to push the pizzeria, we stopped in for a big family breakfast. They have done a nice job renovating the place since it was the old IHOP- plenty of seating, including a great outdoor area, although for the summer months in Florida, I tend to stick to eating inside. We were seated immediately, and the service was fast and friendly throughout the meal. The selection was pretty impressive- lots of eggs / omelette choices, pancakes, french toast, bacon, hash browns, grits, etc.... I don't think you could eat here for breakfast and NOT find something you'd want. I decided to go full on fat boy mode and got an order of pancakes with a side order of biscuits and gravy. Dude, these pancakes do not disappoint. You only get two, but they are larger than the size of the plates they're served on. They were cooked perfectly, and there's nothing better to me than hot pancakes drenched in melted butter and syrup. Biscuits and gravy were also outstanding- biscuits were cooked perfectly, and they're sausage gravy is pretty tasty. Overall, had a fantastic meal here, and I will be back to try for dinner (and especially to get some of their pizza). Great food, great service, and it's usually not overly busy. Definitely recommended.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a hotel in Daytona Beach and ended up in St Augustine!! Jaybirds Hotel was amazing but the restaurant was out of this world!!! Service sucks 2nd time I've tried this place 1st time same experience.. my friend had to finally yell out to the staff we were 1 of 2 parties outside not packed inside food is good But Don't Go There For Bloody Marys Horrible..go to Hot Shot Bakery or Georgies

  • Nick S.

The atmosphere of this place was not very good at all, too small and way too quiet. Food was very good however, which is why it got two stars instead of one. We had the fish and chips, ordered two but was only given one. The service was terrible. Everyone was rude, including the manager. It was really just a dive bar with a fresh coat of paint. The best was giving our drink order twice and the food order three times, yet they still managed to get it wrong. You're either a greasy pizzeria or a dive bar, figure it out and get it straight.

My girlfriend and I were visiting from Orlando and didn't have the best experience today. The food was pretty awful including the presentation. My food came out burnt and my girlfriend received the wrong order. Everyone was chaotic running around. The best part about this place was our Server, he was outstanding.

Everything we ate here was delicious. Buffalo chicken pizza was hot, but not painfully so. The Gorgonzola cheese was perfect on it! The rib eye special was huge, and cooked to perfection. Finished with a chocolate torte cake that I will be dreaming about for a loooong time to come. Service was friendly and prompt.

This is a joy and disappointment at the same time. One experience you decide that it is going to be one of your go too restaurants and the next experience you wonder why you drove so far to get poorly cooked meals. On 3 different occasions we have had to send one of the meals back for a replacement. They have always been apologetic and comp'd the meal...but a free poorly cooked meal is not why I go out to breakfast. This issue is that it is for things that an average cook should be able to accomplish. The sweet potatoes in the sweet potato hash should be cooked and not raw crunchy or missing the chorizo and have to be added at the table. The omelet should be yellow not a burnt brown on all sides. I don't know if it is a chef turn over or a fill in chef but they need to solve this. If you read the other reviews you will find that people either love it or dislike it and it is based upon the food experience. This has real promise if it gets it act together.

The outdoor space is great. The food was tasty. I got a grilled veggie personal pizza that hit the spot. I tried my friend's Huevos Rancheros and they were solid although I didn't care for the sauce. Pleasant experience.

Food and service was fantastic! Bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary's on Sunday's :) the pancakes are bigger than your face and the portions of everything else is quite big; I ended up splitting a meal and was still full. Great breakfast spot.

Been here several times in the evening horrible service. Sat out side for three hours watching a band play and nobody came to ask if I'd like to see a menu or if I wanted a drink. I guess these sorry saps for wait staff enjoy not making any tips... too bad there's not a zero star rating.

This is where my boyfriend and I kinda had our second date. Lol. We were headed to Cassadaga and decided to stop by here for breakfast. We've been here 3 times since. The place is clean and the bathroom isn't bad. Lol. I have a thing for bathrooms. I would have given this a five star the first two times. The reason why I'm giving it a four is because the last time we went...April 7th, 2014, the smoke salmon benedict's bottom part...bread..was hard. Like really hard. I even asked the waitress to stick it with the fork and she was shocked. The manager came by and apologized. It's funny because she gave me a coupon that was clipped off a magazine to make up for it. We weren't asking nor even thinking about trying to get anything... just making them aware. Anyway, try this place out. We enjoyed the food and service. Sit outside if weather permits :)

Ick. Nastiest food in St Augustine. My pasta - in a sweet, flavorless sauce - was slopped in the plate so that it looked like the dog threw up on it. I was very hungry so I ate some of it anyway and my stomach hasn't settled down yet. The place smells like a second rate diner and the food is the same, Maybe breakfasts are better, but stay away at lunch!

Best breakfast in St. Augustine. Haven't had anything that wasn't awesome. Their big breakfasts are almost more than one person should eat. The crunchy French toast must be eaten once before you leave this earth. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

I hate to give this place 2 stars when the food is actually pretty good, but the service was horrendous. Granted, we had a large party, but having to wait an hour+ for a meal is absurd. This is especially frustrating when there were servers standing around doing nothing. This will be my first and last experience here.

They really don't even deserve one star. I have been a loyal customer at Jaybirds being that it is right next door where I work but today was the worst meal I have ever had. Fish was tough and chewy. I couldn't even eat it. $30.00 for one person including tip to go back to work hungry. I can't blame my waiter but unfortunately Jaybirds has lost a customer.

Not one to shy from s&m style abuse, i revisited the scene of an earlier lime crime: Jaybird's Restaurant, the former St. Augustine IHOP! As per my previous review of IHOP, there were innumerable quirky diversions to augment the dining experience. Unfortunately some of these have gone by the wayside with a lively renovation of the inside and out, complete with a Kabuki theatre outside garden and reflecting pool. Given the upgrades, you may not notice the diaper bathroom, but early birders still descend at the witching hour. All in all though, Jaybird's is a surprisingly enjoyable place, with it's own unique idea of cheesy, right down to their love affair with catfish, the margaritaville signage, and the hotel attached, diabolically handy for when you have overindulged on their stronger-than-they-seem-at-first drinks and smoked salmon benedicts, requiring only a mere toddle from the restaurant to your room. Perfect! And if the parrotville vibe begins to overtake you, the beach is quite near. Highly recommend the gourmet pizzas, which are delish and not expensive. Certainly worth your time, and you can stage a mini Mikado while waiting for your pie. Another Auggy classic in the making!

Jaybirds is my favorite restaurant in all st Augustine. I eat here all the time. The food is excellent and the service is awesome. Breakfast, lunch or dinner it's all great!

Snapper catch of the day (grilled) was moist and flavorful. Green beans with carrots (fresh) are a welcome choice from the typical carbohydrate-laden sides offered in most Southern restaurants. Cuban sandwich is large and delicious. If you haven't tried one, this IS the place. Kahlua chocolate cake is simply decadent, but pricey. The Minorcan soup was thin and less than memorable (why one less star. ) Everything clean, food came promptly, our waiter great. Look for a coupon if you stay in Stagecoach RV Park.

Ordered coke and fish sandwich. Way to much lettuce and a pink tomato on skimpy amount of dry fish! No refill offered until check was presented.

New restaurant in St Augustine so I decided to check it out. Nice outside court. Food was average at best. Nothing to write home about but not aweful. We were sat at a table facing US1. The booth was so small I could barely squeeze in. We had to move because it was SO small. Found a booth that was a little better. (not much) The tables around us were not bussed. The table right next to us was completely surrounded with crumbs on the floor. At least 5 servers and managers walked by and not 1 lifted a finger to clean it. They literaly had to walk over the crumbs to serve me and the 3 other tables that were on the south side of the restaurant. There were only 2 tables on the north side. So they were not busy at all. Walking by unbussed tables and dirty floors is just horrible in my book. A friend of mine seemed to like their ravioli so im gonna go back to try that and maybe the patio. I hope they "clean up their act"!

After returning for breakfast I have down grade my original four star to two star. It was like returning to a different establishment. I had the identical meal as my prior visit. This time the scrambled eggs were not light, fluffy and tasty. Obviously this visit the eggs were not scrambled in a pan, but rather were cooked on the grill. I should have ordered pancakes, because that is what my eggs looked like and had the same texture. The eggs were tasteless. I also ordered the home made sausage patty. The patty was fresh and tasteless. No indication of any breakfast sausage spices added. The home fries were under cooked. The rye toast was not fresh. The waitress was unfriendly and non attentive. When arriving with the bill, did bother to pickup the dirty dishes from the table. Based on the pricey menus, one can have a diner experience else where at more moderate prices. Frankly, upscale decor and prices for uninspiring diner food is unfortunate.

The breakfast here is so good! The banana pecan French toast...WOW! But beware if you're a diabetic bc you'll need a huge dose of insulin! For less sweet, try a pancake (they are bigger than your head so one is probably enough for 2-3 people) or the omelettes!

Nice place for a weekend brunch. Food tasted great, and menu selection is pretty good. Staff were friendly. The outside courtyard love is very welcoming and serene, although we didn't get to sit there due to heat wave in St Augustine at the time we visited the place. Will visit again.

My girlfriend and I were visiting from Orlando and didn't have the best experience today. The food was pretty awful including the presentation.

Decent food. I ordered steak and eggs for breakfast. I ordered the steak medium. The steak was well done and very hard. Also, it looked like it was cooked earlier. I'm not saying it was but it did look like it was. Everything else was fine.

The breakfast here is so good! The banana pecan French toast...WOW! But beware if you're a diabetic bc you'll need a huge dose of insulin! For less sweet, try a pancake (they are bigger than your head so one is probably enough for 2-3 people) or the omelettes!

Nice place for a weekend brunch. Food tasted great, and menu selection is pretty good. Staff were friendly. The outside courtyard love is very welcoming and serene, although we didn't get to sit there due to heat wave in St Augustine at the time we visited the place. Will visit again.

Decent food. I ordered steak and eggs for breakfast. I ordered the steak medium. The steak was well done and very hard. Also, it looked like it was cooked earlier. I'm not saying it was but it did look like it was. Everything else was fine.
