This place is in such an unfortunate location but as I've learned in my food-quests, the ones you wouldn't normally go to often surprise you. I've been here a few times now and always thought their Thai was excellent. I was disheartened during a recent lunch that my friend and I were the only ones in there...except for the old lady who needed directions. This restaurant is in a tiny strip mall and flanked by two other retail stores. You've probably passed it a million times while driving down Park Blvd. But, you should stop in and see this ridiculously friendly (and family) run-business. You are treated like on of their own like you're in their kitchen. Ok so why should you stop and try this place? For nothing else, go in and get the Angel Wings (pictured) which are stuffed chicken wings. AMAZING. They're made on-site and have flavor and crispyness that'll knock your socks off. The included soup with the lunch specials are also nothing short of perfect. The broth alone makes you want to pick up the soup cup and drink from it like a chalice. So now I've told you about their appetizers and sides...what about the meals?! I'm a lover of the Pad-See-Ew noodles and I've had them at pretty much every thai place around. These are just perfectly made, not too salty, not too sauce-heavy, and generous portions of veggies and chicken to complete the plate. (Pictured) My friend had the Pepper Steak (pictured) and he too was impressed. If you're ever in this area, stop in and give this place a try. And if you need that extra push, two words: Angel Wings.

Love the decor and atmosphere. Great food and service. Always friendly and happy. I recommend the green curry, it is so good, especially if you like Thai hot, that's the best way to order it.

My family and I enjoyed our meal here. Spring rolls were crispy and not greasy. I got the shrimp with chili/garlic sauce and steamed veggies, it was tasty. My daughter had the pad Thai and she says it was really good. My hubs had a yellow curry with chicken and veggies. The curry sauce was really good, he didn't leave a drop. Restaurant is small and clean. Our was polite and accommodated our requests for substitutions. Will return.

"Mom" presides over this little strip mall gem. The last time we went there it was late, so we could only get takeout. My wife ordered her usual chicken green curry. That thrilled "Mom" who explained that the batch of same she'd made that night "touches my heart." It touched ours too, as did the satay and papaya salad. Since then, all green curries we've sampled have had to face comparison (usually unfavorably) to "Mom's Touch-My-Heart Curry" from Bangkok Thai on Park Boulevard.

The place is small, about 10-15 tables/booths at max, but has the best service, very nice people, clean place to sit down and eat the best thai food. I recommend the Steamed Dumplings for appetizer comes with the sweet dark sauce which you have to dip in also. I can eat 100 of them. For entry I suggest the Cashew Nut. Overall the food there is outstanding.

Bangkok Thai is tiny little Thai joint that has been in the same location since 1988- blink and you'll miss it, so DON'T BLINK! The waiter was the cook's son, very personable and happy to explain his mother's dishes and their pride at having locally sourced, organically grown produce in a starring role. We sampled a wide range of great specialties. The Thai style beef jerky appetizer with peanut sauce was so flavorful that all four of us were raving over it, which led us to order the chicken "angel wings". They were huge and stuffed with a ground mixture of meats and spices and then flour dusted and fried to perfection and served with a sweet sauce. The wonton soup had a clear, aromatic broth and very fresh vegetables; our kid scraped the bottom of the bowl it was so good. Our other kid ordered a chicken salad that came to the table beautifully presented and HUGE. She could only finish half and was totally satisfied. My wife's Crazy Meat with Beef had a balance of flavor and spice that kept her perfectly content, I snuck a little taste and have to agree with her that it was a masterpiece. And I can't say enough good things about my Chicken Pad Thai which was medium hot without being overwhelming. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was their version of Thai iced tea, but my daughter was excited to take it off my hands, so that was just a personal preference. lol The portions were large and fairly priced and you really can't beat supporting a family run, local food gem that is doing all the right things.

The food is good, don't get me wrong, but the service was poor. My friend and I were the only ones in the place on a Monday night and the owner and her daughter were sitting at the back table. The daughter came over and just said "Drinks?" Hmm..hello to you too! We got the Green Pork Curry, Crazy Meat Coconut Curry and Fried Spring Rolls. I noticed on the menu that they charge $1.00 extra every time one wants more rice but it doesn't say that on the take-out menu. The daughter sat back down in front of her lap top and really didn't bother with us again until my friend got up and went back there to ask for more rice. There was no music ..only what sounded like a movie being played from the kitchen. The girl finally came over and handed our check, looking relieved we were on our way out. She just went and plopped back down. I know it must be boring when a place that serves good Thai food is vacant but really, show a little enthusiasm! I would order take-out from here in the future but I don't think I'll be dining here.
