My husband and I are passing through this area, and made the right decision by stopping here. We wanted to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful patios, with exceptional views, but it was too hot. This restaurant has beautiful ambience. Excellent service. Superb views. Delicious breakfast, and great prices. They do not have "Brunch", on Sunday, and no Bloody Mary's, or cocktails on Sunday, until after 1pm. Their "Cheese Omelette", is loaded with cheese . We highly recommend this place. Casual dress.

I stopped in for lunch at Chicanes while on a day trip to Sebring. One thing worth knowing about this place: it is fairly upscale. Nothing too fancy...but don't roll in with your pajama pants on! The setting at Chicanes is beautiful. Lake Sebring is visible from the dining area, and some booths are right on the water. Everything looked very clean and crisp. The service was excellent; we were seated right away and the waitress actually listened when I ordered "with lemon" for my iced tea. She even brought extras in a small dish! That's service. Let's talk about the food. While it was all mostly good, I do have some minor complaints. The appetizer "roll ups" we're delectable morsels of filet mignon, but sadly the order was so sparse!! We received three bites. These were not worth the price we paid! I ordered the crab cake salad for my meal and while the salad was fresh and plentiful, the crab cake was too wet and quite bland! After dousing it with some salad dressing, it was good enough to eat. While both food items were enjoyable, both left something to be desired. However, because of the excellent service and fantastic setting, I would be willing to try this place again in the future!

Yummy I wish we had a place like this in Estero! It would be great! The food and staff are wonderful. I need to amend this the lunch and dinner staff and most of the breakfast staff were wonderful except "Dennis".

Good food, good service, nice looking and mid priced. The bartender was great but the liquor selection is just ok.

What a lovely surprise to be found at Chicanes. I'll keep this short as I'm still a bit road weary from the trip back to Miami. The meal was fantastic: - The French Onion Soup was truly some of if not the best I've ever had. - The Pork Schnitzel was buttery and tender. - The martinis were big enough to soak in. - Sitting outside by the pool made for a near Tuscan experience. That last bullet above is a cloaked piece of advice. Inside, the crowd was well-healed and older. Think golfing retirees talking about...golf. Outside the vibe was relaxed, breezy and lovely. Knowing your age and preference choose accordingly.

We went here for lunch because there were great reviews on here. After going I'm not sure why. The staff forgot that we ordered a mojito and finally brought it after our meal came. And to be honest I would have gotten more alcohol from making out with a pirate than I did from that mojito. We ordered a black angus steak but what arrived was a hamburger covered in mushrooms. I don't understand the good reviews at all. The wait staff was also kind of rude and prissy toward us. If this is the best Sebring has to offer it's a good thing I'm never coming back!

We were over for Father's Day dinner and the food is delicious. Very elegant restaurant with amazing view of the lake, ask to be seated by the window and the experience will be even better. The salmon and the mussels dinner is absolutely delicious.

I love the happy hour appetizers. The fish dip and the wings are reasonably priced and delicious. This is a must stop whenever I am in town.

The food was very disappointing, my wife and my friend ordered the fish and chips. Which tasted like it came out of a box, and somewhat burnt. I ordered the turbo burger (medium rare) which arrived medium well, but decent tasting. My friends wife ordered the fettuccine alfredo which was decent, the French onion soup had a bitter taste. The highlight of the soup was the cheese and onion crispers, the service was decent but has room for improvement. On a good note, the view of the lake was great and the location was convenient. I won't be returning to this establishment anytime soon

Great place for dinner . In Sebring for ride. Great food Great service and friendly people. Quiet dinning and great service during opening weekend NCAA football. Go Gators. Ate here last year and will do so next year. Just a fun place to be.

Great dining experience in Sebring, FL. Had the rice balls (a special) which were flavorful and came with a good sauce. The mussels appetizer was also great and came out on a sizzling plate. My dad got a fish dish which he thoroughly enjoyed. I got a caesar salad which was good and a burger. I had asked for no butter on the bun, but it still came with butter on it (annoying). The fries were also way too salty. The food is good, but i'd say don't expect to eat healthy here. Everything pretty much comes with a butter or cream sauce.

One of the best restaurants in Sebring. Nice views of Lake Jackson in the Dinning Room and a fun, relaxed crowd at the bar. Early Bird Specials with free wine and only $2 a glass after that. The French Onion soup is amazing and be sure to try the Brownie with ice cream if you like desserts.

We ate late in the bar. There was a lively atmosphere. The bartender served us and was accommodating, attentive, and cheerful. Our drinks were done right. We ordered a grouper Reuben sandwich and the crab cake salad. The sandwich was a nice portion of fish and tasted great. My crab cake was large and good, even to me - a Marylander. We'd go there again!

For dinner. Very good in all aspects - wait staff, menu selection, and environment - especially for Sebring (containing chain restaurants). French onion soup a little too bready - is my only complaint. For breakfast. Feels rushed, with wait staff treating patrons like children and the elderly - with overly loud voices in a condescending or instructional tone. Wouldn't fill my pint thermo without a charge, yet unlimited cup refills at the table - additional free coffee in the lobby.

I ate there two times in the past week...First time, everything was good but the second time, everything was excellent. Dinner and drinks were generous and reasonably priced. This could be the best restaurant in the Sebring area. Another year, another excellent meal at Chicanes. This time I had their pan fried grouper, which was the best entree I've had there. Service was friendly and professional. In a area of strip malls and fast food restaurants, Chicanes is a standout.

Food is very good and restaurant have a nice view of the lake. We couldn't sit by the pool , so crowd inside was older people ( retirees playing golf). Serving is not in line with the price and restaurant quality.

Terrible service!! We waited an hour for our entrees to arrive after finishing our salads. The food arrived cold, and after complaining to the manager he completely avoided our table after hearing our complaints. The waitress took our food back to the kitchen to re-warm it, but it was just lukewarm the second time around. Chicanes used to be wonderful, until they remodeled and had to raise the food prices to pay for it. In summary - overpriced entrees, apathetic servers, and detached management. I would NOT recommend Chicanes to anyone anymore. HUGE THUMBS DOWN!!!

Good thing the owner has a captive audiance, because the locals know the low down on this place. The food is over priced for what you get. Now that it has more competition in town, many locals avoid it. The owner has a habit of talking down to locals and making scenes with staff in front of guests. Good place to avoid.

Food was good, but not great. We had a party of 6 on a Sunday and tried a variety of things. Caesar salad was ok, but the dressing was bland. Club sandwich just ok. Fetticini Alfredo was yummy and the Hot Brown was a hit. Wine list could use some help. Service was friendly and prompt.

A great surprise in the middle of nowhere, Florida. It's a big restaurant in an huge inn with an sizable menu of steak and seafood. The food was very good and the service thoughtful and attentive. We came to inn at the lakes hotel to relax and decided to eat at Chicanes. We had excellent service by a very hard working and sweet waitress. The wine was superb and we got to taste it before we bought a glass for free. We ordered an appetizer to share that was suggested and it was very good, we had the pork schnitzel and cristina chicken in a great sherry sauce. The pork and chicken were tender and tasty. The salad and green beans were so fresh. The apple pie was incredible and homemade. This was definitely a treat and very good food, service and price ( under 75.00) I highly recommend chicanes restaurant if you are in Sebring, FL.
