Restaurant and lounge in the Quality Inn. The Fried Mac & Cheese appetizer was fine. Four large pieces, fried crisp and served with marinara and cheese. The house salad was great. Fresh greens with not a speck of iceberg lettuce to be found. Very nice raspberry vinaigrette. My wife had a Bistro Chef salad. Large with good greens, fresh onions and grape tomatoes, eggs, and cheese. She asked them to hold the bacon, as she is vegetarian. They added fresh green beans as a replacement. She was pleased. I ordered a ribeye. The menu promised the house salad, fingerling potatoes, and grilled asparagus. The asparagus was replaced with green beans, but they were fresh and well prepared. The potatoes were creamy inside with a crisp, salt crusted skin. Very nice. The steak was terrible. It was thin and ragged. It had a funky flavor that was not pleasant. I have had aged beef, but this just tasted old. I wondered if it had been soaked in tenderizer of some sort. It was only edible with lots of horseradish, so I left most of it on my plate. No one ever asked why. Each table had a dish of oil with herbs leading us to expect good bread, but no bread was ever offered.
