Although the staff was gracious and the service was quick, the restaurant is very dark, unattractive, and lacks atmosphere. The food I ordered was okay, nothing deserving raves. The crunchy noodles they serve as an appetizer were somewhat stale. But I'll tell you what got my mind going places it didn't want to go - the duck sauce served with the crunchy noodles. It came out in a little glass bowl with a chrome lid and small spoon. But There were no little plates or bowls, though, to dollop some into. So this is what was going through my mind: the customer takes a long crunchy noodle and dips it into the little duck-sauce decanter, then bites, then dips the remaining noodle back in. Can anyone say "double dipping"? Just the thought of any possibility of this occuring over and over again in those little full glass bowls of duck sauce made my stomach clench. The decanter was too large and to full to be served up fresh for just.my table of two. This singular issue of the duck sauce sorely needs to be addressed and handled differently by Mandarin Garden to avoid either misunderstanding, or worse, a health hazard.

We just had dinner for my daughters 18th birthday, food and service great, table a bit small but cozy, even the hard to please teenagers were happy and that's not easy, Very reasonable portions and pricing, very nice surprise. We will return soon

The past few weeks, we have visited this place twice. The waitresses are so sweet! The atmosphere is relaxing and they can definitely hold large parties. The most economically deal is the early bird menu that's also offered on the weekends until 6pm. Their early bird menu includes a entrée choice, fried rice, soup and an egg roll. Since I'm a vegetarian I ordered off the regular menu. I love the Country style bean curd. I ordered it fried and spicy. It was so yummy. For three people, our bill was $23 before tip. What a great price for the amount of portions and quality of food. Hot tea was included with the meal. Looking forward to returning.

Excellent sizzling rice soup, spicy tofu dishes, fresh scallops & sizzling meat dishes. They do have a Szechuan background so the specialty dishes (ones mentioned above) set them apart since toucan do them in all Chinese restaurants across the board. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced. It's a nice "sit down" restaurant if you want to be in a place where you sit & eat though take outs are definitely a big part of their business. I would give 4 1/2 stars instead of 5 if possible. Everything is a bit old and dated. But overall a nice experience.

I have been to many different Chinese restaurants and this is a unique one. The place is dark but overall the service was great and the food was good. The servers are hard to understand when they are talking to you but they really sweet and they took care of you in making sure you had everything you needed. It was pleasant to be served hot Chinese tea instead if getting soda or any other beverage. I will be certainly be visiting again and will be trying different food options on the menu.

We have been to numerous states in the last 5 years and always attempt to find a great Chinese restaurant. This, by far, is the best we have ever been to. The customer service is great, the food is consistently delicious, and the wait times are low. Each and every time we visit Sebastian we always eat here and have NEVER been disappointed. It will be a very sad day if this place ever goes away.
