High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Foods to Avoid at Applebee's for High Blood Pressure

Avoid Green Goddess Wedge at Applebee's. Broccoli Cheese Soup and French Onion Soup contain over 1000mg sodium and hence must be skipped as well. Skip all the chicken dishes and seafood at Applebee's except Grilled Chicken Breast and Baked Haddock without sides respectively. You must also skip Brunch Burger, Quesadilla Burger, Triple Bacon Burger, and Whiskey Bacon Burger at Applebee's. High sodium intake can be lethal for a high blood pressure candidate. Avoid ordering foods that contain over 1000mg sodium at Applebee's, especially if you're dining alone.

AVOID. I tried their veggie option. I was hoping for something half as good as the veggie bowl at Chipolte. What I got was awful. The side salad was all iceberg lettuce with mealy (spoiled) tomatoes. I sent it back and it was replaced with half Romaine half iceberg lettuce (soggy) with mealy tomatoes. Is anyone paying attention. Spoiled ingredients belong in the trash not on a plate. Taste your food. One look at the tomatoes and you should know they are well past their prime. Satellite Beach has many far better options in the fast casual segment. Long Doggers is similarly priced but has Way, Way better food. Doubles is less expensive and has substantially better food. You could close your eyes and hit anythings form Publix Deli to a Seven Eleven and not do worse. I have had a better salad at Wendy's. If somebody puts a gun to your head and forces you to go here, order wings. The rest of their menu is an afterthought. If you choose where you eat and choose to eat here (if you are not a masochist) you will only make this mistake once.

Tried Beef O'Brady's tonight for the first time and was please with the food and service. Typical grill/pub food. Our server (Hayley) was FABULOUS....very friendly, cheerful, attentive. I had a burger with fried pickles which was served hot without much of a wait. My hubby had a Cuban with fries and said it was very good too. Drinks were never empty thanks to our wonderful server. I ordered beignets.....which I would not recommend. More like squares of puff pastry that was fried (over cooked actually) and not like beignets I have enjoyed in other places. They were the only negative thing about our visit. Even as the place filled with customers, the service remained excellent! We will return to this restaurant in the future.

Great place to watch sports and get a bite to eat. Food was great and reasonable. Tables and a bar with outside seating. Cornhole in the park lot.

We went here not expecting to like it as much as we did. We liked it so much we have been back in anout 5 or 6 more times. In the past three weeks. The Buffalo Chicken Salad was soooo good. I only got that after making myself not order the Philly cheesesteak like I had every other time because It was soooo good. The beers are perfectly priced. The staff is amazing. Sarah is so sweet. I think they are going to have to get a retraining order to keep us out. If you have kids go on Tuesday nights and a great magician will blow their minds at your table. Some great arcade games in the lobby were a big hit with our son. Check it out!

The food is ok. Very salty bar food. Charged $2 extra for fried pickles. Kind of a rip off. Can't complain too much the burger was free. It was Mother's Day. The pulled pork sandwiches had lots of gristle. Food is slightly expensive for what you get. Probably better with a beer and football. Kids will enjoy the table side TVs and video game section. They also have that weird trivia game console. Waitress was friendly but it was dead.

First of all, the service was bad. The food, very small portions, and didn't taste good, the grilled meat and chicken were undercooked, plus the chicken had this microwaved cold chicken taste, just gross. Its a good place for watching sports and spending tine with friends but not for eating. Pretty expensive too.

The service here sucked! I even napped between ordering my food and actually getting my food.

Only come here if the game isn't on anywhere else. The amount of grease in the air will make you and your clothes smell. The food is typical pub food - made even less healthfully than your average sports bar. The second star is only given because th bartender was so nice.

I just had dinner here and although the food was your typical chain restaurant pub fare it wasn't bad either. The ribs were over sauced a bit; nothing a swipe of a napkin couldn't handle. The TV at the table is a bit odd, but I guess it's their thing. The World Cup was on so bonus points there. They also have a surprisingly good selection of draft beers( Magic Hat #9, Fl Lager, Stella, etc). The portions were huge and the service was prompt and with a smile...but the best part was that they surprised us dads with free dinner on Father's Day. Major points for service. We will be back.

After eating overpriced, mediocre food on the pier and dealing with the crowds, this place was a godsend. They have great drink specials, the prices are cheap, the servers are friendly, pretty girls, the menu has tons of options, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. If you're looking for fine dining, don't go here. If you're looking to kick back in a casual atmosphere with a drink and something fried/grilled, this place is awesome. Ignore all the negative reviews, and give this place a shot.

Pretty good wings were amazeballs and o rings were good too..... Our server was awesome and put up with my father in law, who was very loud and obnoxious

Close to base so we go often. The only problem is the time it takes to get the food. If you have the time the wait the food is decent and cheap. Worth a shot!

A group of us from work came here for lunch. The location is very convenient to Patrick AFB. I had the fish tacos... I figured being in Florida, they should be pretty good...... ummmmm.... yeaaaaah..... pay attention to the name of the place.... BEEF O'Bradys.... not Fish 'OBradys..... everyone else in my group had some form of beef and they all raved about it. All I can say is I don't recommend the fish tacos... they weren't bad, Ive just had much better. Get the beef!! The service was great... very friendly.... so based on that and all the satisfaction of everyone else in my group, I just couldn't give this place any lower than 3 stars. Had I been more pleased with my selection, I may have leaned towards 4 stars.

Went here on two occasions, both occasions the food was Awful. Will not be eating here again. And I won't even get started on the service or sanitation. There seems to be two owners and they are married. Both seem to just hang around talking to the other servers. This place is a joke, I would not recommend it to anyone.

If you are coming here to watch a good sports game the place is very good. Nice atmosphere, good service and friendly staff. the wings were ok but the cheesy bacon pub chips were horrible. nothing more than a bag of potato chips with some cheese sauce on it. Our server raved about it as well. do not come here expecting a great dining experience but if you want to hang out with a bunch of friends this place is good.
