Great authentic Peruvian food, made from scratch when you order. I recommend it highly.

Great food and service. We hadn't tried Peruvian food until dinner at Inkanto and we are thankful to have tried a new cuisine. The owner explained their wine was from Peru by an Italian family that works closely with the restaurant. I ordered a wine from the recommended Peruvian winery and the husband ordered a Peruvian beer. We ordered the fish (corvina) ceviche and picante de mariscos. The wine and beer were both tasty. The on the house appetizer was fried corn with a green sauce. The sauce was delicious, as were the fried corn kernels. Ceviche was fresh and memorable. The picante de mariscos was also very good. The red pepper sauce for picante was flavorful but we found the octopus to be overcooked, in fact half of the seafood on the dish was overcooked while the other half wasn't; it was a hit or miss. We were however thankful for a flavorful pepper sauce, it made the dish memorable. The service was friendly as the owner was eager to tell us everything about the food we were ordering and about his restaurant. The next night we tried another Peruvian restaurant so looking back on the dinner at Inkanto we felt the higher prices were for the atmosphere in the restaurant and less about the food since the other place offered food that was akin to Inkanto, just as delicious but with a homier atmosphere. Overall we liked this place because of the food but if given the choice, we recommend Peruvian grill because of authentic food, large portions and the charm of the restaurant. Inkanto is an upscale Peruvian restaurant. Note, $11.50 for a glass of Peruvian wine was a bit of a sticker shock.

This place is great! Fernando and his team make sure service is spot on and they answer every culinary question you might have. But the most important thing here is the FOOD. Food here is amazing. Their Ceviche is one of the best we've had ( and apparently they've won many competitions proving it). Their arroz con mariscos 'seafood rice' is wonderful. Lots of flavor and better than many paellas I've had! ( and I'm Spanish!). For dessert, Try their yummy version of 3 leche's cake ( infused with pisco). If you like good food and are in Sarasota, you must check it out!

We were vacationing in Sarasota with family, one of which was Peruvian, so we found Inkanto (thank you yelp!). We loved it! I had the 3 ceviches (sur, tradicional, Inkanto) and absolutely loved it. Tender fish, excellent flavor. Hubby had Arroz con Mariscos (Peruvian paella) and loved his as well. Excellent service by Fernando!

Here's what ordered: - Causa Inkanto - A vegetarian version of Causa Inkanto - Chicharron De Calamar - Arroz con Mariscos - Aji De Gallina - Alfajor - Selva Negra Everything was delicious. Will definitely return.

The BEST Peruvian food in town! Excellent freshly made food, great service, and friendly staff/ atmosphere. The ceviche is a must try- it's made fresh to order with corvina from Peru! I'm a huge fan of authentic Peruvian food and this is the place to go if you're looking for a great meal.

Wow!! We came a day during the week and unfortunately they didn't have their full menu available, however we had their papá a la huancaina, their causa de camarones, the tamalitos and their ceviche de camarones. Oh yeah and a tres leches that will blow your mind. I can't wait to go back when their full menu is available.

We had 'leche de tigre', the salad and a half portion of paella for lunch. The ceviche was excellent. The rice and flavoring of the paella was good too. It is small and clean with a knowledgable owner who carries a strong work ethic. Very authentic.

Friends and I had thought Inkanto, which is located just down from Trader Joe's in a strip mall that runs perpendicular to South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, was closed and out of business, but we were wrong and as a result we all missed out on some incredible and authentic Peruvian dinners. I went there last night with my son and his fiancee who are visiting from NYC and we all loved it. They had changed the sign in front that gave the impression they were closed, are eliminating the tint on the windows that give the impression that it's dark inside, and totally revamped the floor plan, getting rid of every single uncomfortable booth and replacing them all with marble top tables and comfy chairs. Lovely inside, excellent service, marvelous Peruvian beer and lots of good wine, and an incredible menu. We started with a shared Causa de Pollo - "Mashed yellow potatoes seasoned in a lime juice and yellow pepper, filled with chicken salad or tuna salad and avocado slices" - and a traditional Peruvian ceviche - "The National dish of Peru Delicate fish and onions marinated in aromatic lime juice and peppers (aji limo). Served with corn, sweet potato and canchitas." Both were remarkable. He and I got variations on the same dish, the Seco de Cordero - "The National dish of Peru: Delicate fish and onions marinated in aromatic lime juice and peppers (aji limo). Served with corn, sweet potato and canchitas" although I forget the name of the variation that he got. Lots of food prepared authentically and expertly. She got their rendition of fresh corvina fish. We all loved the food and followed it up with tres leche cake, a family favorite. A marvelous family dinner, with attentive and friendly service, superb high-quality dining and a terrific experience. We all highly recommend this very classy, unique restaurant.

Everything about this restaurant was top notch, we will definitely be returning soon. The ceviche is some of the best we have ever had, we requested medium spiciness and it was just right. Very fresh. The rest of the food was good, as well. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service, outstanding!
We decided tot try this restaurant because of the good reviews on yelp. It should have been a red flag that the place was practically empty on a Friday night in high season. Our main complaint is that the portions are small and the prices are high for what you get. They do not serve anything at all as a starter--no bread or chips, which we usually get at Peruvian and other restaurants. Between the 4 of us we ordered duck, steak, chicken and 2 appetizers. The food itself was tasty enough, but we left hungry and disappointed. We will not be returning.

I went to this place on a groupon. There service was really good. The food was really good but overpriced. I wouldn't come here if it wasn't on a groupon. The entrees were about $20 each. They added 20% gratuity at the end which was weird since it was just two people.

Fantastic fantastic fantastic. First of all, did anyone else know there were 12 Peruvian restaurants in Sarasota? Apparently, there are, and this was my first one in spite of living here for 6 years. Saw a groupon, menu looked awesome, came with my girlfriend. I believe our waiter (possibly the manager, too) was Fernando. Unbelievable service, very knowledgeable about everything Peruvian (he was Peruvian), and kept bringing us new things to try, like a fried corn and sauce appetizer (for free - but maybe everyone got this) and a VERY spice chili pepper sauce to have with our entrees. We split a glass of Peruvian wine - both of us never had Peruvian wine before and apparently, you can't get this brand in a wine store in the area. Excellent wine - bit pricey, but very good. I got the Lomo Saltado described as, "Flambeed dices of beef steak sauteed with onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Served with French fries and white rice." However, it is such a popular dish, that they were short on beef, so I got it with shrimp, chicken and beef. My girlfriend got Picante de Mariscos, described as, "Braised scallops, calamari, shrimps, and mussels in a creamy yellow pepper sauce mixed with pieces of potatoes and side of white rice." Both were fantastic. I can't describe how flavorful they were. Admittedly, and even the server said this, mine is meant with beef, so the beef was better than the chicken or shrimp, but it was still awesome. The chili pepper sauce he gave us added a bit of a kick since it wasn't otherwise spicy, but go light if you do this, because that stuff is spicy. My girlfriend's was fantastic also. That pepper cream sauce was delicious. If the place has one drawback, it would be the lighting. They keep it way too bright inside, and it would be better if it were a bit darker and more romantic. It's not really a family restaurant since I can't picture American kids liking these dishes, but they keep it lit like a family restaurant. That said though, I won't even deduct 1/4 star for that. If you can't tell, we loved it. Don't miss out on this little gem.

Well, the manager, or whom I thought was the manager was very nice. That is why I gave it two stars. We called ahead of time, and he set up umbrellas to make sure we were shaded. He greeted us very nicely, and very helpful. Our waiter was not very helpful, and was very crabby and standoffish. We are not familiar with Peruvian food, and have only been once but the menu was completely different from that one. We asked him a lot of questions. There was a Peruvian drink that I was not sure of. Kind of like a non alcoholic sangria to me. I asked if I could try a little bit, right away he said no, then brought me a little bit any way. We ordered 3 plates. One with fish and seafood, another with steak, rice and fries, and another that was "Peruvian Fried Rice". All were very bland, or tough. There is an offer on Yelp.com for $25 for $40 worth, and we used that. The manager was nice to offer it even though it stated not to be used on Fridays or Saturdays. I tried to like this place, but I really did not, and neither did my mom or husband. It is nice though that the manager was nice, accommodating, and that the place is dog friendly. It is right next to Chili's in a strip mall close to Trader Joe's. That was convenient since Trader Joes was where we were going next. I can not say that I could recommend this place.
Such a wonderful place - and absolutely the best ceviche we've ever had! We also had the corvina stew, which was also delicious. The owner and servers were very friendly and helpful. They were happy to explain the food, drinks and artwork. This was our second visit and we look forward to many more meals here when we are in Sarasota!

Been Peruvian, I am always looking for authentic Peruvian food. I am always on the road and today I tried Inkanto. Excellent Ceviche Inkanto, taste, quality and the experience of eating in Peru. Of course, I had to try the lomo saltado and i was not disappointed. Great atmosphere, clean and excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for great food.

This was our first time at Inkanto and the food was fantastic! Everything we tried, the Ceviche, Papa a la Huancaina as appetizers, and Lomo Saltado, and Arroz Chaufa were all amazing. if you have or have not had Peruvian food before, try Inkanto. You'll love it!

Lovely dinner and outstanding service. We tried Inkanto for a date night and were so glad to see a restaurant not overrun by old people. Horray! The owner and wait staff was friendly, warm, and seemed genuinely grateful for us being there. Owner chose my wine and I was very pleased. We ordered Loma Saltado (steak with rice, veggies, & fries) and it likely contained an entire large, high-quality steak. My shrimp dish was also outstanding. We tried the ceviche sampler and loved each flavor. Dessert of tres leches cake was outstanding. The value was outstanding. Both our meals were really large enough for two people or one dinner and a large lunch of leftovers, and each entree was around $19. Our bill (including large appetizer and dessert) came to $115 with more than $35 of it wine. Wonderful food, warm and gracious service, and a welcome escape from the standard Sarasota show-offy restaurant vibe.

I have a little experience with Peruvian cuisine. Back when I lived in NYC, my wife and I used to enjoy some marvelous rotisserie chicken, avocado salads and ceviche from a tiny place on 89th Street and 1st Avenue called Piu Piu. (Apparently, "piu piu" is the sound that baby chickens make. What we would call "cheep cheep" in English!) Anyways, I'm sad to say that I don't think we have any Peruvian cuisine in Nashville. I honestly feel that it's one of the most interesting, under-rated and lesser-known cuisines in the world. Which is why I was excited about the chance to try Inkanto in Sarasota. Here's what I found: - Stylish, modern, comfortable and clean interior decor. There are booths that offer privacy and a small amount of sound insulation. A welcome change from the cacophony of many Sarasota restaurants. (Although Inkanto was not particularly crowded -- a fact which I find hard to understand given the extent to which we enjoyed our dinner.) - EXCELLENT service from our two waiters - Carlos and Javier. Carlos was very generous with his time, really enriching the meal by explaining each dish in detail and telling us stories about his life growing up in Peru. - Delicious food. All three of us enjoyed every dish we tried. I don't have a menu in front of me, so I can't recite the dishes verbatim. But I can tell you we had papa rellena ( southamericanfood.about.… ), Aji de Gallina ( en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Co… ), roast duck and a mixed seafood dish with rice and beans. All of us cleaned our plates. (Well, we couldn't quite finish all the rice -- literally a mountain of rice! -- so we brought some home for tomorrow's lunch.) The drinks were good too -- generous pours on wines by the glass and I tried the traditional Peruvian purple corn drink chicha morada - girlcooksworld.com/2012/… . Definitely different. Definitely delicious. And apparently, supposed to be quite healthy for you too yanuq.com/english/Articu… For dessert, we all relished the opportunity to try a fruit that none of us had ever knowingly tasted before - the mysterious lucuma! What is the taste? Well, a little like spiced pumpkin perhaps. We had prepared in a custard with whipped cream on top and cinnamon, and even though the serving was petite, as Carlos had told us, the dessert was rich enough to satisfy us all. (You really should try this for yourself if you like sampling new tropical tastes - meghantelpnerblog.com/20… ) Truly a memorable and enjoyable repast! (PS - For the region and the quality, I think the price was quite reasonable. With two glasses of wine, one non-alcoholic drink, three entrees, two appetizers, one dessert and one cup of coffee, our total bill was ~$100 including tax (but before tip. Very good value indeed, as Paddington might say.)

I am now a Peruvian food fan because this place is great. Ambiance is intimate, but tasteful. Food was really good. It is just south of Trader Joe's back of the parking lot. You have to want to find it, but it is sure worth it if you want to have an intimate moment or memorable moment. Service was great. This is not a chain experience. My wife and I travel down to Trader Joe's from Tampa every few months and we will return. Not cheap but you get good amount (too much, really). The calamari was really good. The rice and beans I must figure out how to do at home. My wife's vegetarian quinoa was worth the trip by itself. Sarasota should promote a day trip down for breakfast, the Outlet Mall, St. Armand's Circle, Trader Joe's and a meal at Inkanto. Maybe even a flyby to see the surf at the beach. Great married moment. Go for it.

First time trying Peruvian food. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The lomo soltado dish is great, although if you don't say anything the steak will come out medium rare. So if your ordering this dish specify, as I didn't :)

Corn, beans, rice, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers & onions prop-up most dishes. Select from short list of nondescript proteins, get the solitary salad offering and you might get a balanced meal. If ceviche is your thing this might be your place. Service is cheerful enough. Yelp confirms I Purchased a Deal yet a person claiming to be the Owner has repeatedly emailed me denying Inkanto participated in Yelp Deals, demanding I remove my review.

We eat here about twice a month. Delicious food and the wait staff is friendly and on top of things. The food sometimes comes out slow but is always hot and fresh. And it always comes out together. Unlike some other places where my husbands food comes out ten minutes after mine.

Food very good. Lots of very interesting items on the menu. Large portions. Good restaurant to come to with a group to share different dishes. Very pleasant ambience. Server, Carlos, very welcoming and tries to be helpful. Needs to back off a bit, as he tends to "hover."

When I heard there was a new Peruvian restaurant in Sarasota, I was very excited about it. Longing for my NYC days of frequent meals at Pio Pio, I was hoping to find inexpensive prices, plentiful food, amazing roasted chicken, crispy/chewy tostones, solchipapas and delicious, spicy, green sauce. Aside from the solchipapas and spicy green sauce, Inkanto proved to be totally different than my beloved Pio Pio. That said, it's unfair to go into a restaurant with such high expectations, especially in my hopes to find something to replace what I'd left behind in NY. In all fairness, this experience was still enjoyable, interesting, and seemed to be authentic. The service was excellent, the atmosphere cozy and welcoming, the food creative and tasty, and the prices reasonable for a fancy-ish meal. When we sat down with our friends, we were given a wine list and menu, and 'cancha' (or basically browned, puffed corn). It was kind of like inside-out popcorn- and not too disimilar from what we know as corn nuts. It's crunchy, salty and you are supposed to mix it up with the spicy Aji sauce (a mix of black mint, jalapenos and debatable other top secret ingredients which I think probably includes mayo, cilantro, olive oil and who knows what else). Yum! What a fun start to the meal, and potentially one that I could eat far too much of. We decided to share 2 appetizers between the 4 of us. One was (I totally forgot what it was officially called and the website does not have it listed. Sorry!) made of sliced prawns, mashed yellow potatoes, avocados, red peppers, lettuce, topped with a creamy sauce. The combinations of flavors, temperatures, and textures was unusual and interesting and all of the ingredients were fresh and bright. The presentation of the dish was eye-catching and vibrant and we all really enjoyed it. It was just enough for about 2 bites each- perfect for a little taste. We also shared the salchipapas, because whether young or old, who can really resist a place of french fries and chicken hot dog slices? Not me- or apparently anyone else at our young-at-heart table. For our entrees, Gabriel and I shared their specialty, Lomo Saltado (filet mignon with onions, tomatoes, and peppers) and the Pescado A Lo Macho (mixed seafood in a creamy saffron sauce). We both substituted fried yucca for french fries (since we'd already had plenty of those), and also asked for the other sauces to dip them in that were offered with the yucca appetizer. Our waitress was more than happy to oblige, and although all of them were excellent and each quite different than the one before, I ended up back where I started with the spicy green sauce that I love so much. The seafood dish was my favorite with such a flavorful sauce and a great assortment of fresh calamari, scallops, fish, mussels, and shrimp. The plain, white rice that came with it was the perfect way to mop up all of the extra sauce once we had eaten everything else on it. If they bottled that sauce, I may very well have come home with some. Overall, the service and presentation here were standouts, and the food was definitely better than average. We spent about $35 each- which included wine, which I felt was slightly more than it should have been. The restaurant has only been open for 2 months so far, and was fairly empty on a Saturday night. Hopefully once the snowbirds return to the area ready to try something new, their business will pick up a bit. For us, it was definitely an enjoyable evening with friends, but we aren't totally sold on going back. We've been to far too many area restaurants with excellent food for closer to $25-$30 per person, and the reality is that we will be more likely to return to those. I am fine with a splurge for a way-above-average experience, but this one was only a 'very good' in my book, not a 'great'. We shall see...

Since the Sarasota Trader Joe's is (for now) the closest one to our home in Tampa, we decided to take a 1hr drive today to buy some of our TJ's favorites. It was around 4pm and we were both hungry so the thought of driving back and picking up fast food on the road was not appealing. While our first inclination was to use our smartphone or the car navigation system to find something unique, we were lucky to observe that the next center over housed Inkanto. Given that neither of us had eaten Peruvian food before, we decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a try (actually we cheated a little and checked Yelp first and saw that the reviews were good...we aren't stupid). The place was just opening, so we had it all to ourselves and as others have mentioned, the place is elegantly decorated and the servers very knowledgable and attentive. I tried the Lomo Saltado and my wife had the duck dish. We found both of them to be very good, with reasonable portion sizes for what we were considering our lunch. The steak was tender and the rice that accompanied was sticky and the pyramid presentation made me wish I'd remembered to take a picture. Both dishes were very aesthetically pleasing. I am not a regional gourmet by any stretch so others can comment better on its authenticity but I certainly got the impression that this was the real deal. Both entrees were $20 which given the fact that this is Sarasota didn't surprise me much. So I'd say it was a bit pricey, but well worth it. If I lived down there, I would certainly go to Inkanto again. I am sure we'll give it another try one day, at least until we get a Trader Joe's of our own.

Had a Groupon for this place. Dinner time 7:30pm - the restaurant is deserted inside. Too early? Or food is not a bait for locals? Ordered Conchitas a La Parmesana as appetizer for $16 - tiny quarter size scallops served on 6 shells (probably 2 regular size scallops cut into those bits), covered with Parmesan cheese, and baked in shells - all I could taste was salty chewy cheese. My boyfriend had more luck with Ceviche de Camarones: marinated shrimp ceviche - it was not bad. Main meal for me was Anticuchos Marinated beef heart, skewered and seared over the grill served with peruvian corn and grilled golden potatoes for $14. I would rate it 4 on scale of five for a taste, but the amount... it would be more appropriate to be as an appetizer than a main dish. They even are thrifty on veggies - a couple slices of potatoes and a tablespoon of corn. My boyfriend had beef Lomo Saltado for $20. Very small amount of meat for that price. It was okay, he is not a big complainer about the food but he was not impressed with his meal either. We decided not to take a chance with a dessert. Ended up with with paying more than $80 for a dinner and another disappointment. Damn, now I am stuck with my another Groupon for this place because they allow only one per table. Savings did not turn to be savings, but a waste.

The staff was amazing and the food indescribable. The chef actually runs another restaurant in Peru a few months out of the year, so you know it's authentic! You have to try the black conch ceviche. Amazing!!!!!!! Two thumbs WAY up for this new place!
Incredible meal here-- definitely beats the other Peruvian places I've tried in Sarasota. I started with the quinoa salad with avocados, which had an incredible, light flavor that I loved. For my main course I had one of the ceviche dishes, which was fresh and delicious. The service was speedy and the waitress was able to tell us a lot about the different dishes and the wines and beers on the menu. My parents also loved their meals, and I kept stealing bites off their plates, because they were also so good! I highly recommend Inkanto-- it is worth the trek out to this part of Sarasota, believe me!

It was my first time in a Peruvian restaurant in the US and I am not dissapointed one bit! I've been to Peru, Lima and I can say the dishes at Inkanto taste very authentic. I would like to say thanks to this place I felt like I was in Peru again! And not only because of the food but the atmosphere was great. The way the restaurant was designed, is absolutly beautiful. The owner Fernando was so good to us. He told us a lot about the foods and recommended the dish "Ceviche Tradicional". Very delicious! And for the main course, we ate Taku Taku, very delicious if you like seafood! Our other tray was Lomo saltado. Also very delicious. I recommend Inkanto to everyone! You will not be dissapointed!

I've never had Peruvian cuisine, but dining here is quite an experience and the food was excellent. Whether you're a visitor to Florida who loves to experience food or you're a local who doesn't know good cuisine if it got up and bit you on your sandy-uncultured bottom, then you should give it a try. It is authentic Peruvian food with a menu that is friendly even to unadventurous eaters. Great place for couples or groups. What makes the experience so memorable? Authentic Peruvian recipes that are deliciously made with specially important Peruvian key ingredients and meals served to you by, you guessed it, Peruvian waiters. Ask for Fernando - he is AWESOME. It is a little pricey - on average about $25 per entrée, but you get a good amount of food and it's delicious. They serve mostly Peruvian wines, which I loved. My only complaint is that they will only have ONE Peruvian wine by the glass - everything is by the bottle, so if you're a group, that's no biggie. I understand that though as they only have been open for a year so you gotta control costs/expenses somehow. The exterior may have you second-guessing your choice, only because it is in a strip mall, but the interior well makes up for it and it's not in a shady part of town or anything. It's just not a fancy stand-alone building. The interior is handsomely decorated in vibrate Spanish reds and other warm colors. The only slight complaint I had was it was bright enough to perform surgery in there. They could have dimmed the lights to make for a more intimate experience, but this is Sarasota and Lord knows some blue hair probably complained about low lighting and not being able to see their menu with their binoculars for glasses, so that's probably why we got stuck with the unfavorable lighting. We will be back!

Excellent meal, including wonderful appetizers, and main courses. Even my picky vegetarian teen was impressed. Friendly and prompt service. Will definitely return.

Great restaurant. If your looking for authentic Peruvian food in SRQ this is your place. The traditional ceviche was awesome. Large portion and the quality of the fish was excellent. They offer a Peruvian spicy chili pepper sauce that reminds me of a chipotle crossed with a habanero. If you love spicy food, you will enjoy this with the ceviche! The calamari was crispy with large pieces of squid...superb. Main dishes we ate were the seafood paella and the fried corvina fish with seafood and a saffron sauce. The seafood paella was ok. The corvina fish was excellent. If you love fish, the corvina is the way to go. I'm going to try the other corvina dishes they have on the menu on my next visit. The service was 1st rate. Fernando (manager) was very courteous and made sure the place was run like well oiled machine. The décor was clean, modern and slightly minimalistic. The prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for. Dishes were around $16-$20 and you could easily split one entry with two hungry people. For 2 kids and two adults, had 2 appetizers and 2 entries and we were stuffed! I took my family here. I think if you have well behaved young kids, you should do ok here. There were a lot of couples and it seems to be a popular date night place. Luckily the kids were in a good mood that night and they enjoyed the seafood dishes (calamari and paella) so the dinner went well. The place is nice, but it's not intimidating...they have high chairs and cups with tops for the kids, so Inkanto does a good job of making families feel welcomed. As far as the lighting issue, they turned down the lights with a rheostat switch, so the lighting was at the correct levels...I did not see any problems at all with the lights being too bright. I always enjoy dining at restaurants like Inkanto where the staff is from the native country of the particular restaurant and the food is authentic. Yummy House executes the same authenticity with Chinese cuisine. With restaurants like Inkanto, the SRQ dining scene is winning the game against mediocrity!

(5)Shannon D.

Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. Neat and well kept.

Stylish little place with authentic dishes. Wife had Lomo Saltado with corvina (the special) and I went with the corvina filets topped with calamari and a yellow garlic sauce...very tasty. We will be back

Great service ..fresh...clean flavor

We eat here about twice a month. Delicious food and the wait staff is friendly and on top of things. The food sometimes comes out slow but is always hot and fresh. And it always comes out together. Unlike some other places where my husbands food comes out ten minutes after mine.
(5)Randy K.
Food very good. Lots of very interesting items on the menu. Large portions. Good restaurant to come to with a group to share different dishes. Very pleasant ambience. Server, Carlos, very welcoming and tries to be helpful. Needs to back off a bit, as he tends to "hover."
(4)Ann K.
Great food and service! Ceviche, lamb stew, and paella were delicious. Ask for the delicious hot sauce, but beware. Ambiance is very sophisticated. Great spot.

I am in love with the aromas and flavors that the chef incorporates into each dish! I have been a Javiers fan for years and am lucky enough to have a second wonderful Peruvian restaurant to savory the flavors! This has become my FAVORITE eating out spot!

The food was good, but, some confusion with the bill. This was resolved with Fernando.
(4)Michele I.
The staff was amazing and the food indescribable. The chef actually runs another restaurant in Peru a few months out of the year, so you know it's authentic! You have to try the black conch ceviche. Amazing!!!!!!! Two thumbs WAY up for this new place!

I had my first Peruvian restaurant experience tonight and LOVED it! My Peruvian friend took me to Inkanto while on vacation because she is a friend of the chef, Cesar Pizarro. Upon entering, we were met by a very friendly staff, especially our waiter, Angel. The décor was very nice and upscale. Chef Cesar personally answered our questions about the menu and made sure our meal was excellent. We enjoyed the Papa Rellena and the Causas Traditional for appetizers, the Lomo Saltado, the Seco De Cordero and the Ceviche Tradicional for entrees and the Alfajor for dessert. Even my 7 and 9 year olds loved it! Highly recommend for a much more memorable dining experience than the Chili's you pass in the parking lot before you get to Inkanto..
