You will not find better cupcakes than this place. The carrot cake is my favorite. My husband and I had them make our wedding cupcake tower. Lorri listened to all of our ideas and executed them perfectly. They were honest, helpful, and so sweet. We plan on having them make future cupcakes for us as well.

Love cupcakes in general and hate to give a low review, but I would rate these cupcakes between 2-3 stars. I loooove cupcakes and get a cupcake In almost any city I travel to. I was in Venice, FL over the weekend and drove out of my way to try this place based on the reviews. While the shop is cute and the lady working there was incredibly friendly, I was very disappointed in their variety of cupcakes. They basically had chocolate or vanilla cake options w several frosting options. (Also 1 carrot cake, no red velvet or any other choices in cake for that matter). Maybe the lack of options was because I arrived later in the day on Saturday, however it still didn't look like their display case was that big. Maybe this shop is more into custom cake orders, I don't know, but I expected more of a variety. I found the price of $2.75 a cupcake to be a fair price. When I got home to try the cupcake I was even more disappointed in the taste. I felt the cupcake tasted same or worse than a box mix. Little to no flavor and very light. We went out of our way looking for a good cupcake and were disappointed.

Drove from Tampa to pick up my special order cupcakes. Not only were they decorated with great care and amazing, the cake was delicious as well. I first saw their work at a baby shower and the cupcakes were soo cute, I knew we had to have them make the birthday cupcakes! Very easy to work with, I emailed them the pictures for the cupcakes and each cupcake was an exact replica. All artwork was done in buttercream and free hand. So talented and tasty!

It gets three stars because the cupcake was great but its missing two stars because the store itself left the lot to be desired it had a tacky refrigerator very small cramping the woman's uniform look like let's say less the professor know but he was polite most people might think I'm nitpicking but I'm on Yelp and that makes me professional

Ordered a flamingo cupcake cake for a flamingo lover and it was great! Yummy cupcakes and buttercream! I am not a huge fan of buttercream but this one was fluffy and yummy!

Never have I had anything even close to the cupcakes here! If you haven't tried the CARAMEL LATTE on a CHOCOLATE cupcake, well, you just haven't lived! I make it a point of searching out cupcakes wherever I go (even found an American style cupcake bakery in Taiwan!!) and this really is without compare. The cake is moist and fresh and the buttercream is obviously made fresh daily because that's just something you can't fake. The shop is always decorated for whatever season/event is happening and the ladies who run the shop are always friendly and helpful. Whenever I wonder why I still live in Sarasota, I just stop by for a tasty reminder....CUPCAKES A GO-GO is #1 in my book!!!

I dropped in with a last minute order for 18 cupcakes. The owner/bakers could not have been any more accommodating. I was out the door in about 15 minutes with a delicious assortment. All my friends RAVED about their cupcakes. I will definitely return with a special order.

We decided a little late in the game to have cake for our small, intimate wedding sail. Rather than go the cake route and all that entails (plates, utensils) we decided cupcakes would be perfect. We found this place on Yelp and it was about 5 minutes from our vacation condo. The cupcakes are fantastic. We stopped back in two more times before we left for home. Highly rated. You can't go wrong here.

I know my cupcakes and frostings and love to try them out where ever I go. These cupcakes are moist, delicious, all fresh ingredients, fabulous frosting and a great assortment, if you get there early enough, or much better yet call ahead because The two women who own and run the shop are friendly and extremely accommodating. Lori, who decorates the cakes is a fantastic artist. She just did the greatest cupcakes with assorted helicopters on them for someone who just got their helicopter license. People stopped by our table in the restaurant that we took them to , just to admire them! We recently ordered a dozen and a half cupcakes that looked like burgers in buns, with what looks like the wholesalers on them, cheeses mustard and ketchup!! for a barbecue party and they were absolutely the hit of the dinner! Yes the shop is small, but who cares when what counts is what comes out of the shop, which is fabulous! Don't miss this gem!

I had a great experience with Cupcakes A Go Go. I called from the west coast, last minute on a Saturday (busiest day at a bakery) to beg to get a birthday cake delivered to my mother. They were so gracious and accommodating. The cake arrived at the scheduled time, and it was beautiful. From what I heard it was also very yummy. I posted a picture of my daughters 16th birthday cake. Hands-down, best birthday cake ever. They're very nice and were great with assisting me in creating the cake I hoped for. The cake was so chocolatey and moist and amazingly wonderful. The icing was perfectly tasty, creamy and delicious. Occasionally I throw the last piece or two of a birthday cake away. I scraped the bottom of this cake box. So good!!! And my daughter's birthday was even more special because of this fun cake. Everyone loved it!

Their cupcakes are delicious! I was upstaged by some of my friends at the party because the ones they bought from a "few other stores" were super pretty and decorated, but mine were hit too because they tasted so good. Thanks, ladies - you really have a yummy product.

Love, love, love this place! They have the best cupcakes! They don't have forty different flavors but if you can appreciate a truly moist and delicious cupcake, then you need look no further. If you have a special occasion and have a special decor in mind you won't be disappointed. They are artists!

These are the BEST cupcakes in the world! I love them. They are so moist and delicious! AND THEY ARE FRESH! The vanilla cake is heaven! I have ordered custom cupcakes and have had absolutely no trouble whatsoever! The staff is fantastic and are always professional and courteous! A must try in Sarasota!

After reading the reviews on yelp, we made the trip to cupcakes a go go and it was well worth the trip. The shop is so beautifully decorated with a showcase of their cakes and cupcakes. We ordered the vanilla cupcake, red velvet and carrot cake. Each cupcake was deliciously moist and the icing was perfect. Sherre was so friendly and gave us recommendations of places to visit as this was our first trip to Sarasota.

I am a cupcake connoisseur and pride myself on knowing where to get get cupcakes where ever I go. As a resident of Washington, DC, I recommend Baked & Wired to friends and family. When I travel to Philadelphia, I always stop by Isgro Bakery for cupcakes. You get my drift. I must say that I have never had cupcakes as delicious as the ones at Cupcakes A Go Go. Who would have thought that the best cupcakes this fanatic has ever tasted would be in Sarasota. And I'm not overstating this. Whenever a friend says he's going within 100 square miles of Sarasota, I recommend Cupcakes A Go Go. Luckily for my taste buds, my best friend moved to the Sarasota area from the DC area a few years back, so I get to visit often. What makes this place so special is that the cupcakes are not only incredibly moist, but also VERY delicious. In short, they are the Best Cupcakes Ever!!! And Sheree and Lorrie have gone out of their way to deliver cupcakes to my best friend on one of her birthdays and to make cupcakes in advance of my trip to Sarasota when their shop was going to be closed. But, let's be clear -- the cupcakes are extraordinary and stand on their own merit. The fact that the owners are such extraordinary businesswomen and wonderful people is a very welcome bonus.
