Camphouse grill seems to be one of the few restaurant/bars in the area open past 9pm on a monday night. I really cant believe how spoiled i've become - but this alone just about merits 5 stars, since i could have starved to death if it wasn't for camp house. From the outside, this place looks like a summer camp mess hall. Inside - same. Who would've thought. The waitress was quick to acknowledge my presence and take my drink order. Just about everything on the menu looked pretty good. I went with the pulled pork dinner, mac n cheese and fries - the waitress took it upon herself to give me a sample of the coleslaw since i had asked about it. There is usually something i don't like about a meal and in this case it was the mac - it was a little burnt and the cheese tasted a little like crocodile nipple. Everything else was delicious. I also tried a peach margarita, which was pretty good but light on the tequila. I want to say i'm surprised that there was only 4-5 other people there last night when they have such good food / service.. but then again... every other restaurant closes at 9.. so it must've been sleepy time for sanford, FL. For barbequeish / bar food, camphouse is awesome!

Located on SR 46 on Sanford, just past Reinhard Rd. Small, open air restaurant that was enjoyable on a cool day at lunchtime. I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy w/ zesty Camp House sauce, served w/ choice of sides. The sandwich was tasty and the sweet potato fries were killer. Co worker ordered the fish tacos, which I'd try next visit. Service was friendly and got us back to the office in good time.

A great dive on 46 in Sanford. Nothing is fancy,, but the food is really good. We had the junkyard sauce that is a combo of all the wing sauces on grilled wings. The wings had great grill marks and great flavor. I had a burger and tots that were really good. They have a full bar and decent beers. The servers were busy but nothing took long.

My husband and I wanted some BBQ and we were visiting Sanford, Florida. We saw that this place was great for barbecue. Once we got there, it looked like a whole in the wall. We sat on a bench with another family. For appetizer we had wings with a flavor called junkyard, they were delicious! We also ordered a chicken quesadilla that was also tasty! I ordered shrimp tacos and my husband had a philly steak sandwich. Honestly, one wouldn't think cause of the appearance of the place, but the food was really good! The waitress Kaitlin provided good customer service. If I'm in Sanford again, I will definitely go back to this place!

Stopped in based on Yelp reviews. I have to admit without Yelp it wouldn't have happened, but I'm glad it did. The food was great. I ordered the junkyard (mixture of all of the sauces) wings. The wings were big and cooked perfectly. The sauce was good. If you like BBQ sauce you should love junkyard sauce. I would have loved it but I'm not a big BBQ sauce fan. The service was ok, maybe she was new, she just had no personality. The manager was a very nice man who was there to make sure everyone was happy and they were. If you are in the area and looking for a place to watch the game with good wings stop in. You won't be sorry.

We have been here a handful of times... Love it!! Everyone is so friendly! The food is awesome... You have to try the junkyard wings! Does not sound great... But they are some of the best wings we have had! Great drink specials too! We will definitely continue to go back! We also love the "camping" feel with picnic tables and a log cabin type feel.

Wanted to try something new for lunch and I found this place, on yelp. The service is awesome, and the food is good and fairly priced. Started enjoying the dollar beer and now my family is coming to join me!!!! This is definitely gonna be my go to place!

This place is a great little secret hideout. Friendly staff, full bar and some of the best food around. I am a huge fan of their junkyard wings. They have daily specials and an outside deck. Very good spot.

Not a bad place but the food really needs to catch up with the service. The staff was very attentive and professional. The owner/manager was engaged and supportive of his staff. The place is rather small and the room is mainly taken up with very large communal picnic tables. They've really packed the seating in. The walls are covered in stuffed animal heads and country music was piped in at acceptable levels. Now I grew up hunting but two things I've never warmed to are taxidermy and country music. Actually I despise country music but I get that it's part of the shtick of this place. Now the food....I ordered wings and a side salad. Good ticket times but the wings were overdone and the hot sauce doesn't really fall under the definition of hot. Now they weren't so bad I'd send them back but they were pretty damn dry. The sauce was forgettable as well. The side salad was supposed to be romaine and green leaf but at least 50% of it was iceberg lettuce. If the menu said iceberg then I wouldn't have a problem but this was a fast food level salad. The gentleman next to me order the shrimp taco's and a side of mac n cheese. His tacos had a grand total of 3 smallish shrimp in each tortilla and the side of mac was maybe 3 ounces. One more thing was the bbq pork I saw advertised on the menu. I didn't see any smoker so unless they have a cabinet smoker in the kitchen I don't know where the "bbq" is coming from. One can make great pulled pork in the oven or crock pot but just don't call it bbq. All in all the service merits high praise but I probably won't be back. I hate country music, stuffed animal heads aren't my bag and the food simply doesn't merit the stop. My guess is that they'll be fine. Folks who like the atmosphere and drink Bud Light will pack the joint to watch football. Hell I might watch a game here but I don't see me eating again until the quality earns my money.

Great local bar and grill. Nice atmosphere and very friendly. I have tried about six different items on the menu and all of them have been better than other local bar & grills in the area. Highly recommended. If you are in the area, don't miss the chance to visit this gem!

Went here for lunch with my coworkers. I was expecting a hole in the wall, but it was remarkable clean. We all ordered wings and they were excellent. I grew up in Buffalo so I am usually a very tough critic when it comes down to wings. The blue cheese wasn't bad but could use a change. If they switched to Rooties blue cheese, their wings would be a game changer. This place looks like it would be perfect to watch football on a Sunday with TVs for individual tables. Will definitely be back!

This is the first time I was there today. The food smelled and tasted great. The inside is very outdoorsy, staff was very friendly. A must check it out kind of place.

Great food and service. I had the fish and chips me was the best that I have had. Even thou it said it was cod but I truly believe it was haddock which for me being from upstate ny it was great. I will be going back on a regular basis.

Love this place, very close to home. Excellent gator tail, some of the best I've had! Very reasonable pricing, never a wait. It looks small from outside but is rather spacious inside, give it a try!

Had the Camphouse burger and it was amazing ! Fresh meat cooked to perfection with a fried egg and onion straws on it. The pulled pork is very tough with a funky bbg sauce which we will never get again. The beer is cold and the burgers are great which made up for the awful pulled pork
