Well this place was more crowded than an analogy I cannot share due to copyright infringement. After waiting for about 2.5 enternities, we were finally seated. Unlike some other places where there is a wait and a few open tables, this place was packed to the max. People were sitting on top of each other to get some of that PF deliciousness. The service was OK, and nothing too spectacular. I guess it was because they were crazy busy, but at the same time having your water not being filled while eating something spicy is not cool. We had a few appetizers. The spring rolls were hot, oily and not healthy at all. The other appetizers had meat, so I abstained. For my main dish I had the tofu curry which was pretty good and not that heavy. All in all this was a restaurant close by and we had to go given that we were pressed for time. If we had more time to Yelp around, I'm sure that there is a better alternative in the area.

Mmmmmeh, Not a good consistent Chang's experience... Everything was way too sugary and there was little distinction between flavors of soy, hoisin, teriyaki etc... Even the lettuce wraps at this one were boring. Not to say that P.F. Chang's isn't good... It's pretty decent.. But this place is a little off. Only as good as the chef on duty I guess.

I came with my family here for my birthday. The food doesn't really stand out and I was really expecting better. I ordered the dynamite shrimp for appetizer it would have tasted better if it were a little sweeter. The sweetness of the sauce would have brought out a nicer texture with the shrimp. The Tuna Tataki wasn't so good. The fish is a little too overcooked and also a little too salty. The Tuna didn't taste fresh.

This is my favorite restaurant. Have eaten here many times and most of the time everything is perfect. Love the unsweetened tea with the fruit flavor, Mongolian beef, lettuce wraps and hot and sour soup! Make sure to make a reservation during the season.

Even though there were many empty tables when I was seated, I still waited 25 minutes for a table. The hostess was kind of rude and not very accommodating, She acted like I was a nuisance rather than a guest. The servings were nice sized but the flavor was lacking. This was my first time at this location but I have been to others and had MUCH better tasting food. The food took a little longer than expected to get to my table. Perhaps they were short on staff that night? I don't see myself going back, especially after the way I was treated by the hostess.

My bf and I decided to try P.F. Chang's since we've heard a lot about it. We had reservations and were seated within 5 minutes. Our server was really friendly and attentive. We started out with the Flaming Red Wontons, which were absolutely delicious (it had a great kick to it), and the dumplings, which were all right. I ordered the P.F. Chang's Fried Rice, and my bf ordered the Mongolian Beef. My rice was pretty good (and huge), although it could've used some more flavor. My bf liked his Mongolian Beef, although it looked a bit dry. We had the Great Wall of Chocolate for dessert, and it was absolutely delicious. It was the biggest slice of cake I've ever seen. I would probably come back sometime.

I always stop here for lunch whenever I'm in the Destin area for lunch. The food is consistently excellent and they have a lunch menu with smaller portions than the dinner entrees and also includes your choice of soup or salad (the egg drop soup is the best you'll find). The reason I won't give this 5 stars is that the service is always slow. It works fine for me because I work while I'm waiting but don't go if you only have an hour for lunch! If you're on vacation & want to enjoy a cocktail while you're waiting, they have a nice selection of beverages. The bar area & the bartenders are also nice if you choose not to be seated at a table.

It is clear the food here is not Chinese at all! Even the workers are not Chinese which is different than the same Resturant in CA or any other states. The food is dry and nothing special.

Went to PF Changs tonight for dinner and the service was terrible. Our server started the evening off by apologizing for being slow and then proceeded to explain that he got two tables at once and why that meant he was behind... etc, etc... excuse after excuse. Having been a waitress for 10 years I know what being 'double sat' means and had service been good he would have just taken time to take orders rather than blame others for his lack of tact and talent. The evening proceeded in that way. Soup and apps came out lukewarm, no plates at any time were pre-bussed, cups were empty, and dessert was forgotten repeatedly. We enjoy this restaurant but if we decide to come back again we will have to be sure not to sit in his section. One side note, the beef in the Orange Peel was so chewy it was inedible... typically however we enjoy the entrees.

We waited at our table for 10-15 minutes and we were not given waters or anything. The waiter passed us multiple times and didn't say anything. We eventually got up and left. I would recommend going to a different restaurant.

Not good customer service! was not greeted at the door when we walked in! A caucasian man skipped us while we were in line at hostess desk waiting on for our reservation to be acknowledged. I felt discriminated against because he just walked to the desk to a pager with no regard to us standing there. In addition there was a party there, of other blacks, and because we are black they assumed that we was automatically a part of their party. There was a trainee at the hostess desk who did not know what she was doing. Some one did come to help her, but after all that, I was not a happy camper. Our server detailed a manager who came to our table and gave us a free appetizer. Woo who! Hopefully the food will make up for the difficulty at the hostess desk....

Never had an issue with this restaurant until tonight. My husband and I were served raw pork in our dumplings. I understand mistakes happen but this is pretty serious. When the issue was brought to the managers attention we were told it was in fact cooked but was merely not warmed up enough. It was undeniably raw as the raw bits stood out against the cooked parts quite blatantly. The dumplings were taken off our check but I felt this response was unsatisfactory as we were told we were wrong and we had not in fact just eaten raw pork. Poor form. Definitely taking this issue to corporate.

Eat at their fast food division instead = Pei Wei. PF Chang is simply fast food served in a above average fast food environment.

I have always enjoyed PF Changs! This visit started off not so good. We wanted to order drinks and asked if they had HH for wine. The server said they do have HH drinks but wine wasn't on it. So we ordered a couple glasses of merlot and next thing we know someone dropped off the HH menu and wine was on it! We brought this up to the server and she was just as surprised as we were. She said the host should have given us a HH hour menu but she is new and must have forgotten. She took our wine and brought us HH wines. For Dinner I got the ginger chicken w Broc and it was delicious. We also enjoyed the lettuce wrap. My friend was having a difficult time deciding what she wanted and the server suggested the new lemon chicken dish. When It came out it didn't look very appetizing. She sent it back and couldn't make her mind up on what she wanted. The manager came out, Lauren, and she went thru the menu with her. Next thing we knew ,Lauren brought out an Mongolian chicken dish that looked great!!! My friend eyes opened wide and she was very pleased! It tasted great too!! Kudos to Lauren, she handled the situation great and we will definitely be back!!

First off, let me start with what was good: The Food! The food was delicious, I haven't had any bad food at any PF Changs I've dined at, honestly, so this was right on. Spicy chicken was awesome and we got the Lo Mein, which was also very good. Lettuce wraps were also very good, but be warned you only get 4 pieces of lettuce to wrap with so be generous right off the bat...you'll be glad you did. The not so great things, that kept this review from a solid 5, were things like with our lettuce wraps, in the past they had always mixed some hot sauces to add but our waitress had brought none. I figured maybe they had done away with them until well into our meal the table next to us had gotten their hot sauce. I wasn't too upset, but confused. It will be ok, Jeff. The other thing I will pick on was the really small appetizer plates my wife and I had. Again, it had been awhile since I had been back there so I wasn't too sure. Maybe that's how big they were before....until the same table next to us got actual dinner sized plates. Overall, the above stated "problems" didn't ruin my meal or dining experience, but having to fill your plate up a few times is a little inconvenient is all....and made me feel obese haha. Maybe she was new, maybe not but it's the simple things this trip lacked this time around.

Great meal! Great service! We had one of the the sushi specials, Lobster and Avacado rolls, which was fantastic. Even my 17yr old daughter and her friend tried it and loved it. (And it hard to get a teenager to try sushi). My wife and I had Chicken Pad Thai and the Combo Fried Rice. The Pad Thai came with three sauces - hot mustard, really good teriyaki sauce, and a hot "sriracha" like sauce. The girls had Pork Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken. There were many, many "Oh this is so good" during our meal. Service was really great. A great experience. Have no idea why it is only three stars. Top notch for us.

The service has never been great here-average at best. And the cook times between courses are lengthy. I've dined at this chain from Hawaii to Washington DC, and this is the only one that can't get its act together. Hoping to enjoy dinner at the bar, I seated myself and noticed there was no bartender behind the bar. The couple to my left were having soup, and their dirty app plates were piled between us. The guy on my right had two menus and he was fidgety as I could tell he was ready to place his order. So I waited, albeit not patiently. After three minutes, with no one but a busboy making a pass behind the bar to loudly dump the dishes from one bus tub to another, I thought, give it two more minutes. Two minutes later I passed the bartender on my way out. She was carrying a to-go order back to the bar. The three staffers standing behind the hostess stand chatting when I came in were still there holding their same positions. Good for them. I'm now sitting next door at Flemings, where it took less than 30 seconds to be greeted by the friendly bartender. Have to go... My entree is here already!

I'm a fan of P.F. Chang's and I've been to several, but this one was subpar. Food was decent, but the service was awful. We waited for a server for over 20 minutes after we were seated. We were considering leaving, but ordered our food out of optimism that it was just a fluke. Not hardly. Drinks took forever. Way longer than average wait for out food, and generally poor, inattentive service all around. I will got to P.F. Chang's again, be certainly not this location. I gave it 2 stars instead of one since the food was typical P.F. Chang's fare. I hope someone in a position to change things see these reviews, since the management at this restaurant seem to be inept.

I've dined at several P.F. Chang's and always loved the food and service. Last night however was a different story. After checking in with the Maitre D' a few minutes before my reservation time I was told that they were clearing my table and handed me a alarm. I watched as several people came in after me and were seated. After 15 minutes I approached the Maitre D' again and when I asked them my status they immediately seated me. There were several open tables and they had somehow forgotten me. My waiter was very attentive and effective. However, the asparagus was a joke. Very thin and stringy. Worst asparagus I've been served in any restaurant. Unbelievably bad. Salmon was tasty and cooked perfectly. Not going back. I don't like being forgotten.

I been to Pf Changs in different cities. There is nothing special in here. But I like the neighborhood. Dynamite Shrimp and Pad Thai are my favt here. I had Chicken Lettuce wraps which is just OK (Or may be not bad). But some of my friends ordered chicken fried rice and they asked the dish more spicy. He just mixed up the SriRacha sauce in the fried and it looked more like Jambalaya Rice and not good in taste.

I am no stranger to P.F. Changs, as they are corporate and located in most major cities. I have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service at each location. This location, however, was one of the worst dining experience I have ever had. We were not greeted by the hostess; she did not speak to us at all and made my group feel extremely uncomfortable. We were then sat outside (as we requested) and since the heat was a bit overwhelming, we asked if we could be moved inside. Our server did accommodate the move from outside-in by pointing at the new table leaving us all to guess which four top it was that he was talking about. As we finally sat, our server took our drink/food orders and had the personality of a kid who just lost his dog before his shift. The food was good. I always enjoy the Mongolian beef and also tried some of my friend's honey chicken which was delicious. We had one table visit from the server after our lunch was served and it was when we were almost finished up. The duration we were there, there were all of 7 tables in the entire restaurant so they were not busy by any means. The server dropped our checks and we waited for him to come pick them up. As we were waiting, we noticed that he was standing in sight of our table talking with the hostess. We gave him a few more minutes until one of my guests got out of his seat to go take him our bills so that we could leave. I, personally, am in the restaurant industry and have worked with corporate and private owners. I typically give servers/hosts/experience the benefit of the doubt since I know the struggles of being in the industry but this experience was unprofessional and uncomfortable. I hope it was just a bad day and this doesn't happen often.

My family is not big on Chinese food. However, we do enjoy P.F. Chang's. Naturally, one must eat here with the understanding that it is commercialized, slightly on the pricier side, typical Chinese food that is, in all my experiences, consistently above average in service, ambiance, and flavor. We ate here on a recent vacation and were seated courteously and promptly. Our sever was attentive. Although he was "in training", as per his opening disclosure, I thought he did a fine job on par with more experienced staff. Our order was placed promptly and our food was delivered expeditiously. As far as taste, I noticed no discernible difference from our previous P.F Chang experiences and thought overall the service and attention was above average in comparison. When dining in a tourist trap, such as Sandestin, always make a point to arrive early or expect a long wait. P.F. Chang's is no exception. Frankly, I am puzzled by the poor reviews. Again, one must dine here with realistic expectations.

This was my second time visiting a PF Changs restaurant, the first being some 8 years ago and I do not recall what my opinion of it was then. Clearly, I did not think highly of my experience years ago, because I was reminded on this visit why I never bothered to go back. People complain about the service at this location. It wasn't great and it wasn't terrible, it was so-so. My main complaint is the overpriced entrees, the skimpy portions and the inferior quality of the food. I speak with no exaggeration when I say the food tastes like the chinese food you can buy in the freezer aisle at any grocery store and microwave yourself. If you want the experience of a Chinese restaurant, then go to a Chinese restaurant. DO NOT go to an American restaurant masquerading as a Chinese Restaurant for double and triple the price of the entrees and a fraction of the quality. Very disappointed. Will not return and advise others to skip this restaurant entirely.

Did the takeout thing from this location. Nightmarish at best. The person manning the takeout counter actually placed her nose in someone's food to try and ascertain what it was. Never going here again.

This particular pf changs is not that great. My shrimp dumplings were overdone and my egg drop soup looked and tasted like chicken broth. It was pretty bad. Kind of hard to mess up Mongolian beef, so I was pleased with that.

I travel to Destin a lot on business and I usually stay at the Residence Inn Sandestin. PF Chang is located next to my hotel so it's convenient and I usually eat there every time I visit. I've always order the take-out, so I can't comment on the dine-in experience. Take-out service is terrible. I usually order it online and when I get there, my food's not ready yet and I have to wait. I sometimes don't see the take-out lady for several minutes after arriving. Other waiters would walk by and not say anything. I'm left standing there unserviced. There would be a line out the door of people waiting for their take-out orders. As with all PF Chang's, you're not going to get authentic Chinese food. You have Americans cooking Americanized Chinese food. But the food is tasty and fulfilling. I usually order the Wok Seared Lamb and it's cooked well and flavorful. The wonton soup is good and had huge portions. If they can only fix the take-out service, I would give it an extra star.

No problem seating at 6:00 p.m. Wait staff was prompt and friendly. My wife did not care for the Hot and Sour soup. I liked it. My Beef a la Sichuan was very good but her Crispy Honey Shrimp was so-so. The waitress was good and frequently checked on us. She boxed our leftovers and they seemed to taste better for lunch the next day. There are much better restaurants in the area.

I've been to other P.F. Chang's and have come to the conclusion that I just don't like their brand of chain Chinese cuisine. That's disappointing for me because nice, sit down Chinese restaurants (not buffets) don't exist in this area.

Just wanted a nice relaxing lunch with an old friend. First they said it would be a 15 minute wait for 2 at lunch. The place was not busy and I could see empty tables, yet we continued. My companion was thirsty and wanted a drink. We went to the bar which had 2 people total, one at each end of the bar and after waiting while the bartender did clearly more important bartender stuff finally came over and presented two menus and a drink menu. I asked if my companion could get a sweet tea. The bartender remarked "oh.. you confused me, I thought you wanted to eat". I guess our vibrating seating indicator confused you. I asked for a sweet tea for my companion and awhile later it arrived. Had to request a lemon wedge which was presented on a toothpick in her hand. I was badgered to order a drink. After waiting the full 15 minutes our indicator went off and I paid her $5 for the tea and her service and we went to our table. And it went down from there if you can imagine. Our server was young and inexperienced. That is forgivable. But no management in sight. Staff milling about while tables are dirty and people are waiting. Some tables empty and people waiting. My lemon chicken was bland and under sauced. My companions dim sum lunch with soup or salad was decent on the other hand. 6 nice plump dim sum and soup for 8 dollars. My server came back toward the end and wanted to bus our table clear of all traces including my water glass. He picked it up and asked if I was done. Then quickly stated he should not have picked it up first. I wondered why I had only been allowed one glass of water during the entire meal. Yes I am done, there is no more water in the glass. Has not been any for the last 15 minutes! I have no choice. Check please? Second time here and not impressed.

Went in on a Friday at 6 pm (had a reservation) with 7 in our party. Service was excellent! 2 people in our party had allergies, so before we ordered, the GM came out to talk to our table & they had a special menu for persons with tree nut allergies to order from. They were very attentive to our needs, which we really appreciated, as allergies often make dining out a challenge! We had the chicken lettuce wraps, the dumplings, & the crispy green beans to start & they were all great! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the wraps!! Entrees were great, too - some of our favorites: Singapore Street (rice) Noodles, Mongolian Beef, & Moo Goo Gai Pan. Everything we had was fresh & flavorful! Portions were plentiful (we took a lot of food home & had lunch the next day.) I can't say enough about how good the service was!! Our waiter was attentive without imposing, service was timely, & the GM came out again later to check on us, as well. This was our first experience with P.F.Chang's and they made it a great one!!

One does not go to the Destin area to eat at a chain restaurant, does one? Service was nice and food was better at the PF Chang's I visited in Virginia a few years ago. A chain restaurant, is a chain restaurant, is a chain restaurant--what more is there to say?

I like the food, but I'm not crazy about the format. You're supposed to order a bunch of items and share them family style. I'd rather not be held hostage by what others select though. The last time we were there, we nearly walked out since we weren't greeted by a server for around 15 minutes. Yes, the food is a cut above run-of-the-mill Chinese food, but I don't think it is worth the added expense and the pomp and circumstance.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

It is clear the food here is not Chinese at all! Even the workers are not Chinese which is different than the same Resturant in CA or any other states. The food is dry and nothing special.

We came at 2100 the table manager was rude and the waiter took our order wrong and bad service.

Im a fan. love Chang's spicy chicken. Im gluten free and they are so easy to work with. I think you can get most of the food gluten free here. Staff is very nice.

Service started out slow but the appetizers were delicious and the food came out well prepared. Service was above average for destin. Food was above average for pf changs nationwide.

(2)Martin L.

Excellent and tasty, if not authentic, Asian cuisine. Speedy, courteous service. We'll be back next time we are in Destin, FL.

I had a business lunch here and couldn't have been happier. Our server was Megan and she was helpful, fun, and all around make the experience better. The food was excellent and came out quickly which is great during lunch time. Everything was right and just the way we ordered it. The price and selections on the lunch menu are great and everyone had something to order that they were excited about. Definitely a great experience and will be back for sure!

Go anywhere else! Too many great choices to ruin a good time here!

One does not go to the Destin area to eat at a chain restaurant, does one? Service was nice and food was better at the PF Chang's I visited in Virginia a few years ago. A chain restaurant, is a chain restaurant, is a chain restaurant--what more is there to say?
(2)Tiff Y.
My new favorite restaurant in Destin! I have been to PF Changs before, but for some reason this seems to be my favorite. The staff is always incredibly friendly and fabulous. They have a nice outdoor waiting areas, where you can order drinks and appetizers while waiting. LOVE IT!
(5)James S.
