I really like this Starbucks. It feels new and is very clean for an urban downtown location. Friendly staff fast service and clean restrooms are part of the 5 stars. Open til midnight! Lots of seating and at night you can sit outside with a latte and watch the club scene go by. One of my favorite Starbucks so far in the US. If the women's bathroom could have a hook that works going solo would be easier.

One of the lady was wonderful! Seem like she says "you can make it anyway you want"...something like that phrase, customizing the drinks. I was having a disappointing day, but she brighten it back up. =D . One person can change a bumming day to a great day.

I like the location and the layout of this store. Right in the heart of Downtown, a block off the main strip of the bar scene, opposite from Jannus Live (RIP Jannus Landing). The decor inside is very modern with some soft leather chairs along the far wall. The staff is very friendly despite the fact that you know they have to deal with a lot of drunks and the downtown crazies. You'll have to pay to park most days (all days?) but you have to do that anywhere downtown. I'd go here more often if not for the parking problem. But it's still a great Starbucks.

As we've come to expected with Starbucks there are no issues with their coffee or other items. But this place was pretty dirty. The floors needed to be swept and scrubbed in a bad way, and the restrooms cleaned. When we went the men's room was broken, and only one restroom was open everyone had to share.

4*/5* not bec of staff (they're 5*). The loss of star is for corporate's heavy hand in creating waste twice. 1) They don't recycle. They don't even try. Big company like SB throwing cups away by the 100's daily, per store. Do the math on that. Imagine a Costco dumping out a truckload of cups into the landfills. 2) Food is discarded per corporate BS. The expiration date on a wrapped sandwich is today, the sandwich is unsold FOR FULL VALUE, then its trashed. No 1/2 price last hour. No "buy $3+ coffee and get free sandwich". No "receipt lottery" 1 hour before close (name on receipt, goes into hat, pull the winner) No donation to shelter or company. They can't even wrap it in a separate trash bag and leave it next to trash pile. Compared to Coffee Bean in California that announced, 15 mins to close, that the following sandwiches have today's expiration date and anyone who wishes to take them may do so. They were good sandwiches. Not $6 ones but $3.50 ones. Starbucks is so corporate that they waste stuff left and right. The staff is usually as wooden as Pinocchio- this location was different (dude with full beard knows his stuff and is chiller than a morgue corpse) Recycle. Donate/raffle/secondarily discard the day old food. SB is the Walmart of coffee. Too big for their own good.

Great location (meaning it's right downtown St. Pete) and really have to love almost any Starbucks! The employees are really nice and does a good job. However it can be hard to find a parking and this Starbucks is pretty crowded at most times (downtown, huh). There are only few nice tables and they are taken for hours by people who sip on a drink and study on their computers. So it's a no no for finding a nice table, but yes yes for getting my morning coffee... until I get my own Starbucks machine on Black Friday sale for $59. Yeeeey:)

Now this is a fantastic Starbucks. Fast, friendly service with employees who remember your name when you walk in! Pretty impressive. They are super fast with the line, which can get long in the morning. Lots of outdoor tables to talk about the local news of the day with the downtown loiter squad. They also have the "Clover" system if you want a uniquely brewed coffee. Try it out if you are curious - you can ask for any coffee to be made in the Clover. These are common in big cities but DTSP has one! Even though it's "just Starbucks," the staff here goes above and beyond the call of duty to get you your much needed caffeine fix. Also, they shut people down from using the bathroom if you don't buy something. I personally like this philosophy because the general Starbucks public bathroom policy makes most of their bathrooms end up being where bums shave and do other various activities, some more hygienic than others.

I love this Starbucks! Everyone is super friendly and I have never had any issues with my order. It can get a little congested first thing in the morning, but even then it isn't bad. I say 4 stars because I wish it had a drive through and because there are always multiple homeless in there taking up the first few seats, but this is a goodie!

This is a good Starbucks for studying. It has multiple tables and plugs for studying with laptops. I also like the bar area, a little noisy but a good distraction at times for watching the barista make drinks.

This Starbucks is the worst ever. Although Starbucks policy is no smoking within 25 feet of building, the smokers are puffing daily at the tables outside. I've asked the staff to get the smokers to stop. On one occasion I heard the Starbucks worker come out and make fun of the person who complained about the smoking...me...to the smokers. There are cigarette butts all over the place. Even the inside smells of smoke and dirty clothes. I've called corporate several times, but does no good. I say close this location and open one on Beach drive or at the Sundial. I thought Starbucks was about the experience...but not here in this rat hole.

Dropped in yesterday around lunch, ordered a multi-grain bagel with cream cheese plus a small decaf. In spite of others in line, my order was ready in less than five minutes. Came to just over three bucks. Their small coffee is similar to medium just about everywhere else. Dark wood interior gives the place a cozy home feel, no wonder people work online here. Their outdoor tables usually occupied on this busy corner. Always enjoy Starbucks.
