Diabetics at Pizza Hut
Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.
Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:
You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.
Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut
Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Amazing!! Great atmosphere. Great food! Great drinks! Not vegetarian or gluten-free friendly, but I ordered a build your own pasta w/ all the veggies and w/o the pasta, and it was phenom! My husband is the ultimate carnivore and he was blown away by the calzone. And he is not easy to please.

We went here for lunch, it was crowded, and we ended up sitting by the front door. Our waiter was really nice and was quick to point out that I could have a gluten free pizza with no dairy, which was great, because I'm allergic to both things. My sons enjoyed their mussels and fries thoroughly. They smelled delicious. My husband ordered a Greek Pizza, and I ordered the gluten free and dairy free pizza with goat's cheese. Though the crust of my pizza was better than other that I've tasted, the sauce was really acidic. I felt like it'd burned a hole through my stomach. The restaurant is extremely pricey. We ended up with a $100.00 bill, without alcohol or dessert, for four people.

I know Pizzalleys as the pizza place always giving out samples to draw in tourists. There is nothing spectacular about the pizza here. It's average pizza for Florida, and that isn't saying much. For better "but pricier" pizza head to the other side of St George Street.
(3)Orestes A.
If you want a quick bite to eat this place is good for that. ..I found out by the samples being offered to your by the door to lure you into the pizza shop it work on me... it's good quality pizza at a cheap price
(3)Carolina I.
Pizza was good. We had the cheese burger pizza, fajita chicken pizza and buffalo wings. Nice place. And God pizza

After a night of mediocre meals in the area as "tourists", PizzaAlley -Chianti room was highly recommended by friends. We gave it a whirl and couldn't have been happier! Our party of 4 were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated in "the back room" per friends' instructions. The complimentary, homemade bread and olive oil was on point! We ordered a bottle of Cab, and split two entrees which the chef evenly and beautifully served! Finished with sharing a Tiramisu made from scratch, that was heavenly. Highly recommended, paying it forward. We will return!
(5)Cathrine C.
For whatever reason, this is where I ALWAYS eat when I come to St George Street! The pizza is always made to order, and even though it may be about $20 for a full pizza, it worth it for the size and the sheer taste of it! The only downside is the size of the actually place to eat and the limited seating in the front where most people want to be. There's a full serve restaurant that's theirs that's in the back and a place to also eat outside when the weather is nice! Try their pizza samples outside of you're curious :)

If you like hair in your food and frozen pizza then this place is right up your alley! booo

We had an exraordinary meal here, while on vacation, for my stepson`s 17th birthday. The food was plentiful and delicious! Appetizers were like meals, salads were crisp and clean and the drinks were served with style. Our server, Ray, made all the right suggestions and treated us like old friends he hadn't seen in years. I loved every bite of my veal piccata and mashed potatoes... the mussels in broth were addictive and the canolli...jeez! We may come back to St. Augustine JUST to visit this delightful spot again.
(5)Amy S.
I've eaten here twice now and it is just "A-OK," hence the 3 stars. It's not bad... it's not great. It just is what it is. A pretty decent pizza slice for a good price. A slice of cheese is just under $3 with tax. I thought the sauce had a nice flavour. A little sweet, but no so sweet like Papa John's. I HATE Papa John's because their sauce is just way too sweet. I like the crispy crust. My main complaint is for a slice of cheese pizza, it could have definitely used a little more cheese. I felt they were rather stingy in that department. The pizza isn't so great that I would ever come here and order a large pizza with friends for a full meal, but when strolling along St. George Street and in the mood for a snack, it's a good place to pop in to just grab a slice for cheap. It's enough to keep my belly full until I'm ready to have a full meal somewhere else. It's also good for a late night snack around 10pm when everything else along St. George Street is shutting down. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and inviting. I found the customer service both times to be well above average. Very friendly, cheerful, and helpful employees working here. I'll return.

I think this place is very overrated. Everything was fresh and the people are nice. My Cesar salad was the best thing I had. We ordered the garbage can pizza and especially that is the name and the seafood pizza. They both lacked much needed flavor. Sadly to say if you are looking for good pizza this is not the place. Did not try the other foods so I can't speak on that.
(1)Beatriz F.
Awesome pizza and breadsticks. Severs were nice and friendly. Good place for a big family to eat too :-)
(4)Vero F.
This place is delicious!! Great portions, amazing flavor, even the side salad is good. Pizza is yummy and lobster ravioli to die for. Service was great and Kerrie was very sweet!
(5)Nathasja T.
It's a meh. The samples they give out in front of the door are different than when you order the exact same thing (a cheese pizza). Apparently the samples are with 'extra cheese' which would have been nice to know beforehand. The crust is crispy, the sauce a strange kind of sweet and soupy combination and the overall pizza was a below average experience. HOWEVER - the bread sticks were great. Fluffy, doughey and very well seasoned these were a total winner. They remind me of Little Caesars crazy bread upped a couple of notches. This is a compliment, seeing that I love those suckers.
(2)Kim R.
My Boyfriend loves this place! He wants to eat there every time we are in St. Augustine. The sauce is made the way I like it, a little sweet w a hint of Italian seasoning. The pizza reminds us of New York pizza, the real kind you get in the city. The price at PizzaAlley is really great, especially to be surrounded by so many high priced options.
(4)Brittany B.
By far my favorite pizza place ever! I always go for a slice or even await the samples at the door when I get the pleasure of visiting Saint Augustine! They have great specials and the back patio is a great spot to enjoy the weather and people watching. Go get a slice now!
(5)R. G.
Top notch pizza is served here at Pizza alleys. They are definitely my go to place for hot crispy crust and the freshest toppings available. A true italian dining experience dead in the middle of the Old City. High marks as well for the Sangria. Courteous staff and fast service. You can't beat the quality and friendliness of Pizzaalleys. .
(4)Ben R.
I go down to Jacksonville every year to visit family for thanksgiving and while I'm down there I always head to St. Aug for this pizza. I look forward to eating at this place and taking family here every year. If you are in town you have to go here. Seating is very limited due to it being such a small place. There is seating out back and you can order the pizza at the restaurant that links up with this place. A real hole in the wall place.
(5)Meradith M.
Been there at least 3 times. I don't know why we keep going back. Meh. Mixed reactions. One person thought their meatball sub sucked. One liked it. One liked the sausage sub. Two didn't like their pizza slices. Didn't taste fresh. Fries with subs were soggy. Those who liked their food didn't exactly rave about it. I think we're done with Pizzalley's.
(2)Jeremy S.
Free samples got me in the door, the pizza was delicious. Thick pan pizza with a crispy crust and tasty sauce. We went into the St. George St. Side for slices. Wifey got cheese, I got pepperoni, bacon and banana peppers. Under 10 bucks for 2 slices and 2 drinks. Great deal. Great pizza.
(4)Christine B.
Best pizza in St. Augustine... There is a place right across the street, and this one is better
(5)Roseanne M.
Excellent food! My daughter had a 10 inch Hawaiian pizza. The sauce was fresh and homemade. I had the grilled chicken Tuscan salad so delicious. We sat outside on a gorgeous day...service was great!! Def would come back!
(4)Enit S.
Every year, my family and some friends make it a point to come out to St. Augustine and for us it has become our tradition to always come to Pizzalley's. We have done this for the past four years. We especially like sitting on the 2nd floor where the view and the open space makes the experience all the more pleasant. Ok, it's not NY style pizza, but it's good, and the key here is that it's consistently good. Each time we have come, the pizza arrives with steam rising into the crisp air, and they're generous with their toppings. (see pic) The Crust is crispy and delicious, and after discussing it for almost ten minutes, we came to the conclusion that they must butter the pan and pour corn meal on the pan and throw in the crust for a few minutes in the oven before making the actual pizza, check it out sometime. The beer was only 2.99 or 8 bucks for a pitcher, and the wings came accompanied with freshly made french fries, and they no longer do the crinkle-frozen kind, these came from an actual potato-deliciously crispy. (see pic) An extra star just for that! The only reason I didn't give these guys 5 stars is because when we arrived, we had to clean/wipe down our own sitting area, and one of the girls who brought over our wings forgot one of the sauces and when we told her, she left with an attitude, maybe it was because it was New Years eve and instead of being at home, she had to be at work, don't blame her really but don't take it out on us either. Everyone else however was super nice and attentive. The trip out here over all is definitely worth it.
(4)Amy K.
Really crispy crust. 4 stars because on the garbage pizza, putting toppings on pepperoni is not a good idea. Everything slid off.
(4)Margo M.
The food was just okay but expected amazing from what I'd heard. Great location and samples!
(3)John H.
The food was fine. The waitress however brought us the wrong check, then returned with someone's dinner. It took about 20 minutes just to get the check paid. For pizza, definitely not worth it.
(1)Sarah H.
Yesterday I ordered take out from Pizzalley's. I am a local and have eaten here a few times, but this time the service was beneath my standards. The girl taking my order was not paying attention and took my order incorrectly. That being said, there was no way for me to know this at the time because she neither read me back my order nor gave me a receipt; she only told me the total. When I got all the way home and realized her mistake, I came back to get the missing item. She told me that she didn't ring me up for that item and I explained that it was an inconvenience to me that she did not correctly take my order. Without an apology, she said she would make the slice of pizza. While the pizza was in the oven I could hear her talking about me to her coworkers. When the manager finally gave me the slice of pizza he did not apologize for my inconvenience either. I would expect a local business to exhibit better customer service than the way I was treated. Very disappointing.
(2)Dawn B.
We came across this cute little pizzeria while doing some shopping on St. George St. We ordered slices, a couple of salads and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised at how hot and fresh the slices were. Delicious sauce! Super friendly staff and a very charming place to eat.
(4)Scott T.
The made-to-order pizza was delicious. The crust was sheer perfection. The charming young lady who made our pizza clearly enjoyed her work, and while she was making our pizza, offered suggestions for us to try at subsequent visits. Not only is this place an excellent value, the pizza is hard to beat. We ordered the spinach & feta (vegetarian) pizza, and it was pure heaven. I have certainly spent a lot more for a lot less. This place is a must-go when you visit St. Augustine. And this recommendation comes from an Italian-American foodie.
(4)Bill W.
I love Italian food and I was excited to give this place a try, the reviews looked good. Unfortunately they did not live up to their reviews. Here is the bottom line: Food was below average, the red sauce was reminiscent of what they put on "school lunch" spaghetti. Don't get me wrong, it was not inedible but it was not what I go out for. The bread sticks were OK and the service was above average. Finally, this place is really noisy. I wouldn't go back.
(2)Lynda Y.
yep, good as it gets! After tramping around old town looking for a trendy lace that was closed that day...we stumbled upo a real GEM!!! Wow what a great italia place to eat! We had homemad chicken pot pie soup mmmm! And huge salads with warm breadsticks! Staff couldn't be friendlier...great place, decorated beautifully..I'm going back...everythingthat cme out of the kitcen looked yummy...cheap too!
(5)Jeffrey T.
The free samples brought me in, the kind customer service kept me in, and the price of a pie sat me down.
(5)Willie S.
If you're in St. Augustine, and already on St. George, ignore the free samples here and go directly across the street to Pizza Time. I've eaten pizza all over the world, from San Diego to Naples, Italy. Pizzalley's is nothing special. A frozen pizza from Publix tastes as good. The free sample guys are obnoxious, too. Why eat here when 30 feet away you'll find pizza as good as anywhere in the US?
(2)Jeff K.
I don't have any experience with the NY-style pizza shop on St. George Street, but if you enter the shop and walk through to the back you'll find a full-blown restaurant (alternately accessible from Charlotte St.) which is where we prefer to dine. It's comfortably decorated, and along with some great outdoor seating in front and out back, there are a couple of nice booths along one side with stone wall and wood decoration and I slightly envied the parties that were seated there. Our first visit was a day or so after our wedding, as my wife had been apparently craving pizza like crazy but was on a diet until the completion of the festivities. We didn't want a full meal at the time so we split a 10" white pizza while sitting at bar-style seats up against a clear partition that allows you to watch them making pizzas. The pizza was amazing, with high quality gooey cheese and delicious crust, so we vowed to come back before returning home. Our return visit came as quickly as the next day, and this time around we each ordered a 10" pizza and split an order of breadsticks. The seafood pizza tasted like a pizza version of a really good shrimp and crab dip (that's a good thing), but I have to admit the thing that really stuck with me was the breadsticks. OMG. The breadsticks. You're probably aware of the term "chasing the dragon" as it relates to the drug user's increasingly futile attempts to reach some sort of perfect height of ecstasy amidst a diminishing return curve... Well imagine if you were actually able to catch the dragon and LICK IT. Whatever it is that they put on these breadsticks, that's what it probably tastes like. You really should try this place out if you're in town. It really is worthwhile. But whatever you do, get the breadsticks. GET THE BREADSTICKS.
(4)Joe C.
What do you get when you set out a tourist trap? Please be patient with me. I'm almost over the experience. I'm from NYC and have been coming to St Aug for about 30 years. I've always shy-ed away from this place because I've never heard any buzz about it plus the'ye out front handing out free samples. My friends were in town and remembered they liked the atmosphere inside. I preferred Pizza Time across the street but I didn't want to disappoint my friends trip, so we walked into Pizzalley's as I stared at Pizza Time like Romeo did Juliet. We had 6 kids plus 4 adults in total. We ordered a large pie for the kids, while my wife and I ordered a Margherita Pizza to share. For those of you who know what a Margherita pizza is, it has Tomato, fresh Mozzarella, and fresh Basil. What we were served was something that looked like a deep dish Pizza HUT pizza with sliced tomatoes on top. I think I chewed my lip more than the pizza so as not to disappoint my friends. After all that, we split the bill and $50 later (each), we were done. As for the other reviews...."The BEST?, HAVE to go?... I know food is personal preference however, clearly Pizzalley's does not know what authentic means. Truly a tourist trap at it's best, coupons and all. Visit Pizza Time Brooklyn Pizza for authentic tasty food with friendly service. (Dominic, Dominic, where art thou Dominic?)

While visiting for a long weekend, my family & I stumbled into Pizzalleys to find it's really 2 restaurants in one! Enter from St George Street into a Pizzeria. Enter from Charlotte Street into the Chianti Room. A hall way passes directly from one end to the other making this a 2 in 1 dining establishment. There is a small outside, covered seating area in-between the two spots. In the pizzeria you can enjoy the basics of most pizzerias: Single slices, full pizzas, salads. In the Chianti Room, a full menu (including pizza) is offered. Food was tasty, portions were generous and pricing was average. All in all we enjoyed the quick, attentive service & abundant menu options. The ambiance is casual and slightly dated but by no means off putting. It is a clean eatery with a local & tourist buzz. I recommend it and would return again.

I really wanted to like this place because it was right outside the door to my hotel. The wait staff was decent enough, but the seating area was too loud and too cold for my liking , and the food was really sub-par. The litmus test for any Italian restaurant is the red sauce... this stuff tasted like it came right out of a can. Disappointing breadsticks, too.
(2)Ashley S.
I'm just gonna go ahead and say it... the BEST italian food I've ever had, plain and simple. We tried the sample of pizza at the front door, and wanted to give it a shot. We decided to check out the italian restaurant instead. Mamma Murphy has got to be the best waitress we have ever had. She went above and beyond. I bartend for a very reputable, very large company. Our standards are high, but man... she blew me right out of the water. The mozzarella moons were amazing, not fake like everywhere else. The caesar salad was awesome, too. THE BREADSTICKS... GOOD GOD. Simply made, but seriously phenominal. I hate bread, but I definitely scarfed those down. I couldn't decide between the pesto or the alfredo with my angelhair pasta, so Momma Murphy suggested she just give me both. That was great. =) The calzone was DELICIOUS!! Perfectly made. The thing that really blew us away was the way she boxed everything for us, labelled it ALL, threw in some extra bread (shhhhhh!), & bagged it up. I have never had anyone offer to do that for me. The server assistant (I'm assuming that's what he was) was working just as hard to help out any way he could. While we were there, we watched the chefs make everyone's food... they didn't drop the ball at all. It's an open kitchen, so it's gotta be nerve-racking to work like that, lol. They got everyone's food out super quick. I will DEFINITELY be back, and won't think twice about recommending this place to everyone I know. You WON'T regret being a guest here.

Our favorite Italian in St. Augustine. Delicious pizza, calamari, and pasta dishes. We always make a stop here when in town. They have both a grab & go and a nice, sit down restaurant.
(5)Rachel W.
Holy crap that's good pizza! After being lured in by girl out front samples we had to give it a try. We had fresh Bread sticks with homemade Alfredo and the Wonder Woman pizza with all sorts of peppers. Yummmmm!!! Great prices too. Our waitress was friendly, the place was clean (we ate in the back, more formal seating, rather than the hot, cramped seating up front). The back is neat because you can watch the chef's prepare the pizzas by hand!

Had a great time at Pizzalley's happy hour during a rainstorm this week. The deal was awesome, 2 for 1 drinks and a free slice and/or a $5 plain 10 inch pizza. The service was excellent. The bartender, Larry, was personable, upbeat and shared a lot of information about the city. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Reminds me of NY Pizza
(5)Lora K.
After waiting to eat at another location and waiting over an hour we left angry and ended up here. The atmosphere and restaurant was awesome. Our waitress was very nice and polite and made sure our experience was great. The food we saw come out all smelled and looked delicious. I had a salad along with the make your own pasta dish and it was perfect. Love this place and will recommend.
(5)Cassy C.
There is a reason that Pizzalley's wins best pizza in St. Augustine so often. Their pizza is incredible. If you are in St. Augustine and want pizza, this is the place you HAVE to go. It is seriously a can't-miss.
(5)Marlon P.
A little crowded but very good food A little too crowded for me
(3)Adam G.
Since Kozmic Bluez closed down, this is now my favorite pizza in St. Augustine. Not quite NY style thin, but close and it's very good. Reasonably priced as well. Note that the pizza in this small shop off St. George St is NOT the same as their Chianti Room through the back (or off Charlotte). People who have reviewed this particular site and talk about calamari, italian, etc. are doing it on the wrong place. Go to Pizzalley's Chianti Room for that. Anyway, any of the food out of this small joint is good and the beer is also near the cheapest in the historic district.
(4)T V R.
Don't miss out on mussels cooked in wine sauce for appetizer. Use the fresh baked bread to eat the left over sauce. It's awesome if you are into mussels. Enough for lunch for two.
(5)Troy J.
My wife and I had lunch here and the food was very bland. I had the chicken parm, and for the first time in my life had to add salt & pepper to it. The soup also was very bland and the pasta and sauce tasted like it came out if a can. They staff was very friendly and welcoming, but the food was subpar. I would not come back.
(1)Michelle K.
The free samples of pizza got us. We walked past one day and tried it. Free samples are always a surefire way to snag our attention. The next time we walked past, the got us. We ordered a 16" white cheese pizza. It needed some fresh garlic on it and the crust was a bit too crispy for our liking. NY floppy is our preference. An extra side of sauce was $1.50 but it jazzed up our pizza. All in all- friendly service, decent prices, pretty good array of pizzas and pastas. Great location.
(3)Beatriz V.
Fast, friendly service. Even during memorial day weekend. The bottom of the pizza it is delightfully crispy, while the rest is chewy and doughy. Perfect balance. Great toppings, great cheese, and super fresh marinara sauce with a strong basil taste (i ordered it on the side). Go. Now.
(5)Renee D.
The only place my teenagers want to go when we go downtown and I love it too!
(5)Kim W.
i'm kind of obsessed with this place. like, my mom and i came here two nights in a row for the happy hour because we couldn't get enough. the best part was that we had the same waitress and on the second night, she goes "hey ladies, welcome back! chardonnay and a riesling?" now those are some skills. respect. anywho, the free slice of pizza is basically the greatest thing i've ever heard of in my life. we also had a sausage and mushroom pizza which was delicious, and i ordered the crab cake appetizer the next night- a little salty, but so what, who cares? i was sitting on their covered and heated patio drinking wine and listening to some man perform an acoustic cover of "i am the walrus" (he was paid to be there...not just some random dude. that'd be weird). so thumbs up, pizzalley's!!
(5)Ram S.
We normally eat out at places with yelp reviews but this time hunger and time and a bad signal ( seems to be the case in st Augustine) made us use our gut feel. A busy place cannot serve good food. The pizza turned out to be great and served quickly. We could the pizza being loaded into the oven just after we placed and paid for the order.
(4)DonPaul N.
Pizzalley is a pretty good pizza place located on St. George Street. The front room is a traditional looking pizza joint, with no table service, and you can walk all the way to the back for a full service restaurant. There is a nice porch out back which is a good spot to sit. Favorite Dish: They have some nice gourmet pizzas. It's not the New York style pizza I prefer, but it's pretty good!
(3)Steve W.
This place is usually great. I have been a handful if times and will admit the quality sometimes is a little lower than the last. The sample on St George street got me in a year or so ago and try to go every few months. Always ordered the sample pizza, Extra Cheese extra cooked, and oddly enough sometimes it's great and sometimes average. Still a great place to enjoy lunch at.
(4)Robert L.
We were attracted because of hunger and free samples given while walking the alley. We were shown to a nice spot outside on their front/back deck with menus and proceeded to wait ten minutes to be asked four drink order another brisk ten minutes later we received our drinks and then gave our Caesar salad order along with a pizza order. We received our salads briskly and it was obvious no effort was taken into the ingredients and preparation. The salad had little dressing, one crouton, and no cheese so needless to say I was disappointed. The specialty pizza we ordered I ordered with the omission of banana peppers which I was not surprised to still find them on the pizza as at this point I expected disappointment. The pizza was tasty once I removed the banana peppers and the Gouda was an awesome ingredient to the pizza so I was happy and thus the reason I rated this place with two stars. Also the live entertainment was pretty good even considered buying his cd. So do better than I if you go here and voice your unhappiness and you might get the desired results.
(2)Trisha P.
The food was decent, staff is average. It's very noisy inside, but the outdoor seating is very nice.
(2)Nikita B.
they must give a different sample at the door because the pizza you order just sucks. sweet sauce.. cheese is bleh crust has no flavor... go next door to pizza time ... even 5 star is better
(2)Chris K.
Great pizza. Mediocre pasta. Try garbage can pizza.
(4)Jay L.
Pizza Wars...it's on like donkey kong! Ok, there's Pizzalley's and there's Pizza Time right across the street. I love it. When I go to St. Augustine I go to both and get a slice at each. They are different but both pretty darn good. Pizzalley's has a crisp crust and a slightly sweet sauce. There is a slight tang to it that helps round out the flavors. I feel it is a more "American" pie. Just across the way is Pizza Time. It's run by some Italian speaking guy. The crust is thinner, but often not as crunchy as Pizzalley's. The sauce is less sweet and might have a bit more thickness. The crust also is noticibly less sweet and more yeasty. I always have to get a slice at both cuz I like'em both. It's so hard to declare a winner. Besides, who can just eat one slice?
(4)Jay C.
We had a waitress that acted like she had never done her job before. Our salads were drenched with dressing. The wine was bad. The lasagna, which was recommended by the restaurant, was runny and very bland. No flavor at all.
(1)Mike S.
This is the best pizza I have ever had. I always go here when I.am in St .Augustine.
(5)Haley C.
I never actually got a chance to go to this place, but I wanted to after trying one of the free samples. That's one of the big differences between Florida and New York... in NY, I'd never take pizza from someone on the street. Anyways, I had a small taste over 3 years ago and the pizza's still on my mind. Maybe one day I'll go back and get a slice. Until then, maybe you should go and eat one for me.
(4)John W.
Is there a way to give ZERO stars? My friends and I walked out of this restaurant because the rude sample guy at the front door. The guy kept calling me "cupcake" and my other male friend "butterfly," and he was openly hitting on my girlfriend. She was very flustered by the ordeal, and if he was trying to be funny it was obvious that it was not working for him. We ignored him and walked inside. We were at the register about to order, when the sample guy walks back in and for more samples and continues to insult me and my friends. That's when we canceled our orders and walked out of the restaurant. Later on that night we had to walk past pizzally's and he was still outside and he yelled at us and continued his foolish behavior. I see that I am not the first to complain about this guy on yelp. Tip to management, insulting costumers is not the best way to gain business. This guy needs to be fired ASAP! We ended up going to Pizza Time. If you need pizza on Saint George St that is the place to go.

I was skeptical at first when I had to go through so many doors. But it proved to be excellent choice. Our kids were happy with the pizza and spaghetti we had a great time. Great food, the wonder woman pizza is out of this world if you like it spicy. Prices are good, service great, our waiter new his stuff. A definite winner!
(5)Alan S.
Service slow and indifferent. Pizza was so-so. Crust had no flavor. Very plain. Good things: Outside dining on the porch. Good wine list for a pizza place. Looked like good Italian entrees for those that don't want pizza.
(2)Brian T.
Smallest calamari I've ever seen. Is it my youthful exuberance? Is there a kids menu that I was somehow mistakenly served? I think the pizza was okay but I couldn't focus on anything besides how small the calamari was...isn't this Florida?
(3)Dan N.
Great 'za!
(4)Mrs. H.
Good pizza, fresh salads. But Pizzalley's comes with a big bonus. It was kind of good that Pizzalley's was crowded because if you make past the seating in the front, and you make it past the seating in the rear, and the waiter decides to lift the velvet rope in front of the stairs, you get rooftop seating all to yourself. It kind of feels like you're dining in the balcony of an old apartment, a little charming and romantic. The garden salad is good and comes with a shaving of carrots and a chewy breadstick. The pizza is thin, gooey and floppy, just the way I like it. And it's cheap! A can't miss on St. George Street.
(4)Grace K. H.
crust is good (crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside), toppings are fresh ... and that's all you need in a good pizza. different from borrillo's, a ny-style pizza joint nearby, but equally satisfying.

the pizza is out of this world!!!! go ahead and try it when your walking by. they have samples out in front..bet u will go in!!!

(4)Margo M.
The food was just okay but expected amazing from what I'd heard. Great location and samples!
(3)Jeremy S.
(2)Brittany B.
(2)Enit S.

The food was fine. The waitress however brought us the wrong check, then returned with someone's dinner. It took about 20 minutes just to get the check paid. For pizza, definitely not worth it.

(4)Chetri D.
If you like hair in your food and frozen pizza then this place is right up your alley! booo
(1)Dawn M.
(3)Kayla K.
(5)Lyn J.
(3)Anthony C.
(3)ShiShi P.

(4)Jeff K.

(4)Katie W.
(5)Rebecca B.
(5)Chris K.
Great pizza. Mediocre pasta. Try garbage can pizza.
(4)Brian T.
Smallest calamari I've ever seen. Is it my youthful exuberance? Is there a kids menu that I was somehow mistakenly served? I think the pizza was okay but I couldn't focus on anything besides how small the calamari was...isn't this Florida?
(3)Dan N.
Great 'za!
(4)Trisha P.
(2)Jay L.
(4)Alan S.
Service slow and indifferent. Pizza was so-so. Crust had no flavor. Very plain. Good things: Outside dining on the porch. Good wine list for a pizza place. Looked like good Italian entrees for those that don't want pizza.
(2)Christine C.
(5)James N.
Reminds me of NY Pizza
(5)Ana S.
(4)Amy S.
(3)ShiShi P.
(2)Kayla K.
(5)Kim R.
My Boyfriend loves this place! He wants to eat there every time we are in St. Augustine. The sauce is made the way I like it, a little sweet w a hint of Italian seasoning. (4)Brittany B.
By far my favorite pizza place ever! I always go for a slice or even await the samples at the door when I get the pleasure of visiting Saint Augustine! They have great specials and the back patio is a great spot to enjoy the weather and people watching. Go get a slice now!
(5)Chetri D.
If you like hair in your food and frozen pizza then this place is right up your alley! booo
(1)Lyn J.
(3)Anthony C.
(3)Christine F.
(5)Kim W.
i'm kind of obsessed with this place. like, my mom and i came here two nights in a row for the happy hour because we couldn't get enough. the best part was that we had the same waitress and on the second night, she goes "hey ladies, welcome back! chardonnay and a riesling?" now those are some skills. respect. anywho, the free slice of pizza is basically the greatest thing i've ever heard of in my life. we also had a sausage and mushroom pizza which was delicious, and i ordered the crab cake appetizer the next night- a little salty, but so what, who cares? i was sitting on their covered and heated patio drinking wine and listening to some man perform an acoustic cover of "i am the walrus" (he was paid to be there...not just some random dude. that'd be weird). so thumbs up, pizzalley's!!
(4)Dawn M.
(5)R. G.
Top notch pizza is served here at Pizza alleys. They are definitely my go to place for hot crispy crust and the freshest toppings available. A true italian dining experience dead in the middle of the Old City. High marks as well for the Sangria. Courteous staff and fast service. You can't beat the quality and friendliness of Pizzaalleys. .

(2)Enit S.
(1)Lynda Y.
yep, good as it gets!
(2)Sarah H.
(4)Jeremy S.

There is a reason that Pizzalley's wins best pizza in St. Augustine so often. Their pizza is incredible. If you are in St. Augustine and want pizza, this is the place you HAVE to go. It is seriously a can't-miss.

A little crowded but very good food A little too crowded for me

Since Kozmic Bluez closed down, this is now my favorite pizza in St. Augustine. Not quite NY style thin, but close and it's very good. Reasonably priced as well. Note that the pizza in this small shop off St. George St is NOT the same as their Chianti Room through the back (or off Charlotte). People who have reviewed this particular site and talk about calamari, italian, etc. are doing it on the wrong place. Go to Pizzalley's Chianti Room for that. Anyway, any of the food out of this small joint is good and the beer is also near the cheapest in the historic district.

Don't miss out on mussels cooked in wine sauce for appetizer. Use the fresh baked bread to eat the left over sauce. It's awesome if you are into mussels. Enough for lunch for two.

Go. Now.

The only place my teenagers want to go when we go downtown and I love it too!

I was skeptical at first when I had to go through so many doors. But it proved to be excellent choice. Our kids were happy with the pizza and spaghetti we had a great time. Great food, the wonder woman pizza is out of this world if you like it spicy. Prices are good, service great, our waiter new his stuff. A definite winner!
(5)Alan S.
Service slow and indifferent. Pizza was so-so. Crust had no flavor. Very plain. Good things: Outside dining on the porch. Good wine list for a pizza place. Looked like good Italian entrees for those that don't want pizza.

Smallest calamari I've ever seen. Is it my youthful exuberance? Is there a kids menu that I was somehow mistakenly served? I think the pizza was okay but I couldn't focus on anything besides how small the calamari was...isn't this Florida?

Great 'za!

The food was decent, staff is average. It's very noisy inside, but the outdoor seating is very nice.

they must give a different sample at the door because the pizza you order just sucks. sweet sauce.. cheese is bleh crust has no flavor... go next door to pizza time ... even 5 star is better

Great pizza. Mediocre pasta. Try garbage can pizza.

We had a waitress that acted like she had never done her job before. Our salads were drenched with dressing. The wine was bad. The lasagna, which was recommended by the restaurant, was runny and very bland. No flavor at all.

the pizza is out of this world!!!! go ahead and try it when your walking by. they have samples out in front..bet u will go in!!!
(5)Mike S.

George Street.

crust is good (crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside), toppings are fresh ... and that's all you need in a good pizza. different from borrillo's, a ny-style pizza joint nearby, but equally satisfying.
