Great local find. Fun atmosphere with an extremely friendly and accommodating staff! The portions were really generous including the kids meals. We had half sub and salad which more than filled us up. All of the ingredients were extremely fresh. We appreciate finding gems that are locally owned and this is one of them. Prices were extremely fair. We will be back for sure !

Outstanding lunch. Had the steak fajita burrito without beans and rice and it was amazing. Highly recommend this spot for locals if you haven't tried it!!

Flavors lives up very nicely to its name, and it seems there's not really an item on the menu that disappoints. Everything comes out fresh, with well-picked ingredients and interesting combinations of tastes that tell you these chefs took their time deciding exactly what they wanted the experience of every item to contain. It's a cafe, so the dining area is small, but it's charmingly decorated with a funky, hipstery kitsch that makes the atmosphere relaxed and casual. They even have a couple of board games available, which invites one to sit back with friends, enjoy a great meal and just spend a lazy afternoon or two. Now, to address the service: several reviews have complained of either incompetent or "snotty" staff at Flavors. In my experience, this has never been the case. Yes, they are a bit short and like to get orders in and cooking quickly, but it is a cafe, not a restaurant, which should be remembered. Now, I think the general problem is this: Don't be a stickity little bitch. A stickity little bitch is a foodservice-industry phenomenon which I encountered frequently in my brief foray into that magical world. A stickity little bitch is the sort of person who translates a helpful but rushed transaction, in a busy lunch hour, as offensive because they have come to the opinion that they are, of course, a VIP of the world and time needs must slow down and accomodate them every necessary smile, bow and nod to justify this delusion. If you are a stickity little bitch, Flavors may not be for you! They do not respond well to yuppie self-privilege. Otherwise, they are great! Friendly enough, rather quick with the cooking considering it's all made fresh, and patient enough to wait while you stare at the large menu for a while trying to decide which flavor, exactly, you crave. They bring your food to you along with napkins and utensils. If they do not bring everything you need, you may fall into the above-mentioned category, and let it be known that foodservice personnel will get back at you in whatever little way they can. I like Flavors. It is tasty. I think others should like it too! Great out of the way place with good food. Enjoy it.

Perfect for lunch! A few other reviews say that it takes a long time to get your food. I have dined here a few times for lunch and have not had that problem. The food came out quickly and was delicious. I have heard that they have live music at night and it can be way too loud for such a small place. If you are looking for a place to have lunch that is not filed with tourists and has delicious and interesting food, I would recommend Flavors.

Cool atmosphere. The smoothies, milkshakes and salads are tasty. As for the rest of it, if I wanted my food microwaved I would make it at home. A lot of potential.

I am downgrading, and want to suggest they rename the place Flavor as opposed to Flavors since regardless of what you order, it all tastes the same. That said, at least it is consistently enjoyable.

Flavours IS da bomb! I was here for work & found this place via Yelp (like most places I eat at). Adorable little cafe/restaurant that gets packed! But service was pretty fast. I pulled in & the parking lot (shared w/ a barber shop & "all things weird" store) was full....good sign! Walked in & knew immediately I would be happy. Painted walls, hung artwork, maybe a total of 5 employees in a VERY small working counter/kitchen/order & pay area. A few tables outdoors. Prices are reasonable - $6-9 depending on choice: salad, pizzas, wraps, subs. Lots of choices for vegs & meat-lovers so it was hard for me! But...I got....1/2 salad & 1/2 chix sub. Salad was Simply Gorgeous (the name) - mixed lettuce w/ lots of carrots, cheese, olives, seeds, toms, cukes, and this awesome house creamy-garlic dressing. I asked for the dressing on the side, but apparently they were too busy to pay that detail any attn & I was hungry so I just ate it (all!). Chix sub was served on wheat roll - get it hot. Chix was bland when tasted alone, but when mixed with the cheeses, creamy house sauce it wasn't too bad. The chips are a standout - baked chips w/ a drizzle of that creamy garlic sauce (again!) They put it on everything b/c it's AWESOME! Wish I would have gotten a huge plate of those chips too but it's a ton of food so I was stuffed by the time I left. I recommend going when it's not busy b/c your order may come out just right if you do. Besides mixing my dressing in w/ my salad they forgot to put the spicy mustard sauce for the sandwich on the side (like I asked; they just didn't put it on at all). I asked for some & while the sandwhich would be good w/ it on, as a nonmustard liker, I'm glad it wasn't on it! Also, my sandwich was sitting in a pool of balsamic which I'm not sure why, but who cares? I'll be back...next time in St. Aug's.

Family of six everyone loved their food. The prices a great and the atmosphere was fun. Will defiantly put this place on the list for the next time I'm in the neighborhood!

I loved the hippie and thrift shop decor. It looked comfy and cozy. The staff was nice but they seem rushed due to the traffic. I ordered a diet coke and a regular vegetarian salsa and chips entree. It seems like they needed more time to make it but they managed to make it for me. I only had 25 minutes to eat and it was not enough time. The chips were a little stale and the salsa was different. It had carrots in it. Overall, the food was ho hum.. I loved that they had canned diet coke and unique decor. The staff was nice. I just wish I could appreciate the food more.

The other Yelpers were right - it takes a LONG time to get your food. But that is because the place isn't big, and they make it just for you. The pizza was pretty good. I don't remember it too much, as it was late and I was just chowing down to chow down. What's funny is though, that they ran out of food after we ordered - some friends stopped by and tried to order, but they told them they ran out! hahahah.

Great place for lunch. The food was delicious and the menu options had a wonderful variety and many of the choices were unique. We saw a lot of local people here, which is always a good sign for us out of towers. If we are in St Augustine again we will come back for sure. I want to mention also that our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area as well.

A friend recommended Flavors when I asked for a good place to meet an old friend who was in town for dinner. We were going to dinner on a Saturday night so I was hoping for something a bit off the beaten path so we wouldn't have to deal with too many tourists. This spot was perfect. They have their own parking lot (a huge plus in St. Augustine) and are closer to Flagler than to St. George Street. The place wasn't very busy but, as other people have said, the food takes some time to come out. It wasn't even a bit of an issue for us, as we were there to catch up and had lots to talk about. Also, I don't mind waiting a little longer for my food if it's going to taste that fresh! My friend got the teriyaki chicken wrap and I got the veggie nachos. The portions are huge (I ordered the "side" size and still only ate about half) and the food is very fresh and very clearly made very much to order. The only real downsides were that it was kind of loud because they kept making smoothies (that's life) and it started to get pretty dark (it was starting to get late and a storm was rolling in). They could use some more lighting. Overall, I was very impressed. Fresh, tasty food, huge portions, good price. A great place to eat in St. Augustine without the bother of all the tourists!

After living in St. Augustine for almost two months, when it comes to restaurants, I have unwillingly lowered my standards. I was hoping to find at least a half decent meal from Flavors, considering what I've heard from my boyfriend who has been there twice. Well once again, I'm sad to say I was let down. We ordered take out so I can't comment on service or atmosphere. I can however say that they had 3 stacked microwaves in their kitchen. I automatically lost respect for this place. I ordered a chicken quesadilla. My former favorite go-to. I opened the box and the first thing I saw was a gray long hair on the outside of the quesadilla, stuck to the microwave-melted cheese. The quesadilla was just ok. The chicken tasted strange, like it was old. The tortilla was yummy though. It came with chips, which were from a bag and stale. The salsa was alright but it had carrots in it...? I've never seen that before, if that's even what that was. Eh. No thanks.

I can't quit you, Flavors! This place has been a staple in my life for over 10 years now. I love the owner, Jane. She's so nice and treats me like a regular (which, let's face it, I am...) They have always had huge portions which is what I need for lunch. Admittedly, I am a creature of habit, and I get the same freakin meal everytime I come to the restaurant (chicken portobello wrap). But I love other meals I have had, including the portobello pizza, the simply gorgeous salad (house or pesto dressing), the nachos, the spinach artichoke pizza, you just can't really go wrong here. The atmosphere is casual and it's just a place with good vibes. Most of the time, service is fast, but occasionally the wait is longer, especially if it's busy. It's just so good. Love coming here for my lunch hour to decompress.

Chicken pesto wrap is amazing!!! And their fruity salsa and proprietary chip dip /white sauce is so good that you'll just go back for that. My 14 & 11 yo love their pizza and their Blt sub. Their salads are really delicious too. Everything is fresh always. On Fridays there's a young musician and it's great for family night. Service is friendly and welcoming all the time.

Thanks to yelp and yelpers for helping me did this place. Excellent food. One of the yelpers had warned about the huge portions an I wish I paid attention. However, it's worth the money. Service takes time but it's fresh food so no complaints. Keep up the good work! A little more marketing and this place will rock!!

I loooooved Flavors. The couple that owns this place is great - the support the local and the Flagler kids. The menu is fun and creative, with plenty of heathy options, the portions are huge, the sides are quality, and their sauce here is AMAZING. The atmosphere is great - open and artsy with a few seating options outside. When it's crowded, food can take a little bit longer - but hey, it's an easygoing local place, not a chain restaurant or a fast food joint. And for the quality and quantity of food they give you, it is well, well worth it.

Chicken nachos are my favorite as well as the Popeye pizza! The service is a little slower though so don't go for a quick lunch

Flavors is a great little eatery on King Street near the downtown / Flagler college area. First thing I noticed upon driving down there was the parking lot, which although offered quite a few spaces, was PACKED. I think it may have been the fact that I went at high noon, prime time for the lunch crowd. The decor of the place was pretty nice, although the stereo was blaring Bob Dylan and the restaurant was pretty much full of hipster, "too cool for the room" college kids. I got in line to place my order and checked out the menu so I would be ready to go when I got to the front. The menu offers up mainly wraps and gyros, although there's also pizza and a few other items. Everything is around 7-10 dollars, which is actually a pretty good price when you see the portions. I had no problem with the service here, although it's not a typical service type restaurant. Once you place your order, you give them your name, then grab a table and wait for the food to be sent to your table. The young lady working there actually brought my drink over a few minutes after I placed my order, then it was about 10 minutes before I got the food. The food was flat-out awesome. I ordered a cajun chicken wrap, and it came with nachos, some type of salsa, and the wrap was the size of a firelog. The food was tasty, the chicken was tender, juicy, seasoned just right, and you could tell everything was fresh and hand made. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal, and never had any problems from start to finish. Word to the wise- in case you haven't read the other reviews, specifically Brennan's, this is NOT a fast food joint. I believe there was only one person making all the food for everyone, and he makes it from scratch, and only makes one order at a time in the order they were placed. If you show up and there's a line, prepare to wait a little bit. You won't be waiting forever, but it's not a place where you place your order and 30 seconds later some microwaved food is thrown on the counter in front of you. Place your order, sit down, take a deep breath, show some patience, and relax. The food is well worth the wait, and you'll taste why you had to wait. I enjoyed the place and will definitely be back for more.

This is a awesome place. I've only been there at lunch but wow. Portabello chicken wrap is amazing. It's a short walk from downtown...really short...worth it. They have entertainment at night but I haven't been there to see it. Reminds me of the coffee houses of the 60s.

This place was an absolute god-sent in college. The food was original, healthy and very tasty. It definitely lived up to its name, 'Flavors'.

OMG this place is good! I usually go for Gyro or Falafel, but pretty much everything they make is good. To the point where someone mentions the taco salad, and you're craving it for days. Also, they're pretty cheap. And the decor is nice. The only drawbacks for me are that it's not open on Sundays. Also sometimes they've got musicians who are too loud for such a small space. But otherwise, the crowd is pretty chill and the service is great. Go there!

Flavors is located in part of what looks like an old convenience store building, and has a very chill, slightly artsy atmosphere. The dining area is small, and the wait is long (about 10-20 minutes or so - they are upfront about this not being "fast food"). You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you when it's ready. They make wraps and sandwiches and gyros and quesadillas and pizza and salads and they're all great (well, I haven't tried the pizza, but if it's anything like the rest of their menu it's fantastic). The portions are huge. They use nothing but the freshest quality ingredients, and everything I've ordered comes with lots of lettuce (it's almost like getting a great salad with no matter what you order) and tortilla chips. The staff are friendly, cool, and eager to please. You will leave quite happy.

oh boy I just read a review my friend posted and she defintely had a bad experience there! BUT I only go there for one thing the "Popeye's pizza" and it is SOOOOO good! It has three or more kinds of white cheeses, many diff kinds of olives and baby spinach leaves and the "house" creamy garlic sauce base- yummy!...so if that all sounds good to you should go try it!

I have to say, Flavors is lucky the food is so delicious, because the service is as bad as it gets. We ordered the veggie nachos, and spinach wrap, but substituted the chicken for portobello mushrooms. Both were delicious! Very large portions though, so my friend and I were glad we shared. I also ordered an oreo milkshake, but asked specifically for vanilla ice cream only (no chocolate). When the drink came, they had put chocolate ice cream as well. Not to be picky, but if I'm going to pay for something, I'd like it to be exactly how I want it. On to the service: everything had to be asked for. Plates, silverware, straws, napkins, even waters. And each time we asked, we got attitude or a loud sigh. Not ok! Still the food is so good that we let it slide. And the decor is pretty chill too.

I really don't know if I would give them a 2nd chance after their 1st impression was really well um how can I say this nicely. I could have driven back to Jacksonville to get my food faster and eaten at Chipolte. I got there at around 815 and I had 2 friends with me and we ordered. Pretty simple. One girl ordered burger pita, other chicken nachos. I had the Chicken wrap. No where on the menu did they say they heated up the wrap (you can not heat up lettuce it makes people sick) not only we waited till 9 before we got our food. We sat there waiting and waiting....and they put it in to go box because it was obvious that they closed at 9pm and they didn't want people in there eating. Well when I finally got our food I looked at it my wrap (burrito) was topped with spring lettuce. I asked is this the lettuce inside. he was like yeah its spring. He asked if I was expecting Spinach, I said no...I was expecting lettuce, maybe romaine but would have been fine with iceberg. Anyways I should have just asked for my money back because I was not satisfied with it. Eventually when I made it to St George st to meet up with some friends they were like oh that place is great. I tasted my wrap and was like wtf. it was really gross. again you can not heat up lettuce, its really really disgusting. they should put on their menu wrap=burrito. or specify what type of lettuce you use...and that you heat it....i shouldn't have to ask, what type of lettuce, does that come hot? I dunno if the guy who rang up my order was the owner or not, but you really need to work on running a better kitchen.

Once upon a time, I thought Flavors was Da Bomb. Oh, in a land of deep-fried everything, every single dish at flavors comes with a big heaping helping of salad greens and nuts and stuff. Yay! Except that EVERYTHING at Flavors (well, not the ice cream or smoothies or drinks) comes with that salad, with their (admittedly quite good) salad dressing. So everything is sort of Flavors-flavored. With heaps of cheese. And their service has gotten downright surly over time. And they're full of snotty notes about charging for splitting, etc. etc. At other places, I might find the "we're not going to hide our bad attitude" and snarliness charming, but at Flavors, I'm over it. Their pizzas aren't really pizzas - more like crisped pitas with goop on top. If that sounds like something you want, to, enjoy. Me, I'll wait until I crave it at some point in the future.

This is a great local hangout from what we could tell. The kind of place that has more locals than tourists, which always impresses me. I know where my favorite places are in Clearwater. They have the best tuna sami I've ever had and I love the dressing they drizzle on their pita chips and also on the tuna. Yum, double yum. One thing I wasn't impressed by was the baked fries. They had no flavor, maybe it was an off day for them but I've also been there when they were sold out of them so people must like them?

This place is so easy to miss, but thanks to yelp we didn't. It was Thursday night and live music filled the air. It wasn't too loud and we had read all of the amazing reviews. The girl behind the counter seemed slightly flustered as she handed us a menu and asked that we step away from the counter as we decided. I was a little worried, but soon realized she was just crazy busy. My love asked if he could change the special (Greek wrap) to steak instead of chicken. She said of course and we were set to go. I ordered the chicken, artichoke wrap. The sign says be patient we make everything fresh and that is no lie. Patience wasn't a problem, because we enjoyed all the local papers and conversation while we waited about 10 minutes for our food. The fresh live flowers on the table were a romantic touch (please excuse my moment of A.D.D.). As the food arrived we found ourselves pleasantly surprised. At a reataurant where everything is under $10 you expect good, not amazing, and these wraps were amazing. We loved how they made the wrap a little crispy in what I can assume was a panini press. All the ingredients were fresh and my boyfiend loved their salsa (who'd of thunk to add carrots to salsa). The girl who worked the counter checked on us frequently, as she ran all over the place. This was an awesome experience and well worth it. Even though it's off the beaten path of downtown St Augustine take the extra couple of minutes and check this place out.

Located near downtown, Flavors Eatery makes for a nice stop after a long day at the beach. The atmosphere is fun and quirky ... an array of mismatched chairs and tables complement the dining area. The food ranges from pizzas to sandwiches and wraps ... topped with healthy heaps of cheese. The portions are HUGE so be forewarned. Good live music on weekends.

flavors is nothing short of a godsend. if you have made the rash decision to venture down to saint augie to see your monomaniacal (or, ascetic philosopher) relative who lives under a power line in a glorified lean-to with no running water and have spent your entire day with said relative (1) helping him and minions rig up a sawmill, (2) spending quality time with minions, (3) spending quality time with dog and puppies, (4) spending quality time with an nra magazine circa 1996, (5) spending quality time with anything that is not said relative, and (6) following him around on his Much More Important Than You errands (hardware store, wally world, pawn shop, not to mention pet helpers and the back of some strip mall in search of a mouser, on the stupid assumption that the evening entertainment of shooting rats with one's luger might get old), when all you really want is to have a rootbeer float with him to sate that nostalgia that drove you down here in the first place, and that becomes your own monomaniacal goal of the day, your raison d'etre, the object of your obsession (that and not getting sunburned, naturally), then please, Please do yourself a favor and find flavors - a pristine, perfect cafe. Aug's.

Enjoy it.

I am downgrading, and want to suggest they rename the place Flavor as opposed to Flavors since regardless of what you order, it all tastes the same. That said, at least it is consistently enjoyable.

What's funny is though, that they ran out of food after we ordered - some friends stopped by and tried to order, but they told them they ran out! hahahah.

Eh. No thanks.
