Diabetics at TGI Friday

If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.

Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:

Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

The service tonight was awful and the bartender avoided me all night. I put in my order for food and it took a long time to come out. Like a ticket time of 45 min. Then after the food came I never saw him again at my end of the bar. WTH dude. I'm right here at the bar. The food was good as usual. Sad experience tonight. That's the reason for the 2

Stopped here for dinner after being at the Expo center all day. Typical Fridays. the food was OK. Had a urger without bun and broccoli which was good. The Ahi tuna appetizer wasn't great though. Bland and the tuna seemed to be still a bit frozen. Service however was through the roof amazing. Everyone was beyond friendly from the hostess to the server to the manager who stopped by. Nice bar area as well if you come for snack/drinks/sports. Each booth also had it's own flat screen TV.

They brought the appetizers along with a cockroach. Totally disgusting almost as disgusting as the manager that gave us our gross food for free because of it. His explanation "I don't know where that could have came from but I'll take care of you." Prob should have just walked out.

This TGI Friday's used to have an hours-long wait. This Friday night at 7:00 we walked right in and got a table. Waitress was professional and efficient but not particularly friendly. Food was very good. Managers checked on us. But the margaritas come in a very small glass now, compared to the big ones they used to use. Plenty of tequila, but we had to nurse them along to make them last a while. Little bit of salt on one edge of the rim. There's a reason the drink prices aren't on the menu. BFM margaritas were $11.20 each!

Nothing exceptional just your average casual dining restaurant . Flavored lemonades are good, and the service has been ok both times I've been.

Good food and service. Stripes rewards program for customers is excellent. I been to this place many times. Last two times servers have been exceptional. Had no second thoughts about tipping them. update: they have changed their prices! Not worth the price as before! Update#2 2 for 1 alcoholic drinks and some specials looks ok.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I am so disappointed in this visit I most likely will not return to TGI Fridays again. We waited over 20 minutes to even be acknowledged by our server. When we finally were she disappeared again and we waited for about 15 more minutes to actually get our drinks. Our waitress had 2 tables and we started conversing with another table that had been there for a hour waiting for their food. The table across from us (picture) was disgusting when we came in and even though 3 different waitstaff, the hostess AND the manager walked by it several times, it remained filthy for our entire visit. So much for ambiance.... YUCK I ordered a simple chicken sandwich and my dining companion ordered a cheeseburger, medium. We've been sitting here for an hour and my dining companion just got a cheeseburger cooked well done and I did not get any food. The guy who brought out the food places the burger in front of my friend and says "can I get you anything else"? I looked at him and said "yeah, I'd like my meal as well" he looks at me and says "I'll find your waitress". Fast forward ANOTHER 10 minutes and our waitress comes out with an entree that is not what I ordered. Mind you, she confirmed my order TWICE before this. I was so fed up at this point I had lost my appetite so I told her to just forget re-making my entree and to just take it off the bill. My dining companion was very uncomfortable since he now had food and I didn't and felt rushed to finish his food so we could leave. Fifteen minutes later a manager walks over with my sandwich. Yeah, the one I had told the waitress to forget about. The other table also was surprised and commented to the manager that I had canceled my order over 20 minutes ago. The manager told us he was comp'ing our check and offered to comp the other tables check as well. A nice gesture but too little too late. This was a horrible experience and I am super disappointed. We were in the restaurant for an hour and a half and I never even ate.

Do not go here! Took over 10 minutes to get greeted. Table that sat next to us took 20 from sitting to get their drink! Server was slow and not attentive. I had to get up ask the manager for refills. Food came out hot but no check back. Guess what else my jack Daniels chicken was under cooked, pink chicken! Never again Fridays!

New to Florida and Fridays is always a place I love to go! However, this Fridays in particular was terrible from the beginning. The place looks a little run down from your typical Fridays, the booth they sat us at had some type of sauce my feet were sliding on. I asked the server what kind of beers were available and she couldn't name more than 2 beers. Not 2 mention she got an attitude w/ me about waiting for my beer, I think she forgot. I always tip $20 when deserved but not this night! Definitely recommend looking for an alternative to this hole in the wall-ish Fridays!

I had a nice experience here this past week, our waitress was a pleasure!!! We had burgers that were so huge I could only eat half and the fries were all you can eat!!! I joined their stripes club and happened to earn a free appetizer for that evening. I really have no complaints and everything happened to meat our expectations!!! YUM!

It was a slow night, and appetizers came out cold. Linda was our server, she smelled like smoke and was not vary attentive. Their computer system went down and the table next to us waited at least 30 minutes to just pay their bill. Food came out slow despite being a slow night, confronted the server twice about the food and she said that the computer was down. This is no excuse for food, as there should be a contingency plan for the kitchen to know what to make, she was next to the computer the whole time with the manager and other staff members, didn't see her checking the kitchen for our food. Finally called the Manager to inform him about our experience, his name is Eric. A very polite and apologetic gentleman. He is the only reason we gave this establishment some stars. We ended up just taking the food home, Eric tried comping all the meals for us even though I requested that he give me the full check. We just weren't going to leave a tip. I will be back in a few months, as I love their Jack Daniel's sauce dishes, I hope that by then the staff would be better trained.

In Florida on vacation, there aren't any Friday's where we live. Now I know why. Overpriced!! Very poor service! Waitress was borderline rude at times. Had to stop waitress and ask for refills on EMPTY drink glasses. Would just drop food and walk away never asking if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Food was awful! Potstickers; you could tell were frozen and microwaved. They were tough. My daughter's hamburger bun was burnt. Not only did it look it, it smelled burnt too. This could be why the lighting is so dim!! ?? 1:30 on a Sunday and they were not busy at all. This is not what you expect or deserve especially when your bill is $70 for 4 people eating burgers and an appetizer! Will not be going back that's for sure!!

Had a great experience at the Fridays in Sawgrass Mills so we decided to give this one a try. BRAVO! Bartender Adam not only does good tricks with the bottles but he serves up a good drink. The food was exceptional I had the triple-decker Ruben my wife had the chicken and pasta we both took some home and had it for lunch the next day it's a tremendous value. Friday seems to have reinvented itself good job. Friday's good food great bartender good time I highly recommend them.

Went here with friends on a Saturday night for the endless appetizers and drink specials. Food was mediocre but, mojitos were great. Service was terrible. It was a beautiful night outside and wanted to sit outside. Waitress was slow to respond to our orders and didn't even take everyone's drink order. We had to stop her and ask to write down two others. We were a group of 5 adults. Food came out slowly. Once we finished our appetizers we would ask for another 5 different plates refreshed. Instead of bringing 5 new orders she brought double orders of the same appetizer. At the end we were overcharged by about $30 and had to ask for the manager to assist. To make things worse, after we paid and left a 15% tip on the bad service, the waitress ran for us when we were at our car saying we didn't pay enough. We had to explain that her manager took off the overcharges and showed her the updated bill. Not impressed with service at all. Though I didn't expect much from this type of restaurant. I haven't eaten at a TGI Fridays since 2004.

Not impressed. My husband and I came after we got off work and it wasn't busy. The waitress Katie was an absolute sweetheart but it was the food we were NOT impressed with. For the price, portions were small. Took half an hour to get an appetizer - then when our entrees came my chicken was burnt, instead of spinach Alfredo on the side it was obviously spinach dip. My husbands burger wasn't even on the bun and was a mess all over his plate. The fries he had on the side were supposedly 'seasoned' fries which mean a little bit of pepper but you get charged extra. Not happy and not coming here again.

When you're here, it's always Friday. I'm able to get out of there before I break the bank though. The girls and I got a spinach dip to share and I wasn't really all that hungry, so I got a bowl of broccoli cheese soup. Oh so good. I love how the flavor of the cheese went so well with the chopped up broccoli. I'm not a fan, but cheese will make anything better :) The long island iced tea wasn't so shabby, but it could of been spiked up a little bit. They have a perks card, so get one if you hit up Fridays a lot. Who can turn down free rewards?

I love fridays period. One of my fave chains for sentimental reasons. Anyway the waitress here was attentive yet slow. We waited a long time to get our food however our entree was delicious. Hot and the steak was cook perfectly. So other than the wait I have no real complaints. So its good per usual.

Ordered: Chicken fingers, Sweet potato fries, chicken & pasta. & Parmesan encrusted chicken with ravioli. Margaritas & the baileys coffee. Everything was good. Edible. The waiter was new. We sent the sweet potato fries back they were way to salty. He brought back some fresh ones and they messed up and salted them again only minus the pepper. Opps... Which was fine we just asked to have them removed from our bill. The bill came and we were charged for both sets of sweet potato fries. Had to send the bill back and have that fixed. Not a big deal just a little annoying. Some of the booths have t.v.s that was nice. Only 2 channels though. CNN and some kind of man channel with cars on it. :)

The waitress took extra good care of us. We got.... -breadsticks with honey mustard sauce (did anyone know they had breadsticks?!?!?! I sure didn't) -white chicken chili (DOPE, don't sleep on it) -mac and cheese bites (delish but bad for you) -fish tacos!!! (Loved em, the nachos they were served with...ehhh...okay, but some were stale) Good service, and this Friday's has TV at the tables! So I was able to watch the Steelers game. The wait was a bit much for two people (forty minutes).

Wish I could give this place a zero for star rating. I want to start off this review by saying that I have worked in the restaurant industry for several years, starting off as a busboy, and working my way up to where I am currently a manger at a fine-dining establishment. I have worked in places like this, typical franchise locations, servers are prompted to sell the newest fruity drink, and "sizzling platters", so I knew what we were getting into when me and my significant other decided on TGI Fridays, and had no problems with it. Lets start off with the hostess. I should say "nonexistent" hostess, who, when we walked in, gave us the pleasant look to indicate that we were interrupting her text message conversation she was having prior to us walking in (with glass doors, we can see what you're doing right before we walk in). However, we understand the struggle of being a teenager having to work on a Friday/Saturday night, so we didn't let it bother us. Next up at bat, our server for the evening. Her name was Paulette or Pauletta or something along those lines. Now the normal spiel for a server should go as follows "Hello, my name is (insert name here), I will be your server for the evening." This should then be followed by special promotions the company may be doing at the moment, or rewards programs I may be interested in joining, but oh no, not Paulette. Paulette proceed to shove herself into the booth next to my significant other, and then begins talking to us like we're old friends. "My names Paulette, how you guys doing tonight." I was almost in shock that someone would barge themselves into our personal space completely uninvited. We gave her our drink order and she left. I then saw her go do the same thing to another table before getting our drinks. Excuse me, but if you have time to go and take a seat at another table, don't you think you should be able to at least get our drinks first. So while we waited for 5 mins for two sodas to get to our table, we looked over the menu and decided on some items. I would be doing a burger, Medium Rare my significant other doing one of their sizzling platters. My significant other asked for a little info on the platter, to which all she had to say was "it's really good". Well of course you're going to say that, you're not going to say, "It's disgusting, you've made a terrible decision", but she ordered it anyway. The food didn't necessarily take long, but we we're both disappointed upon its arrival. As I stated, I ordered my burger MR, which means that the internal temperature, should be roughly 130-135 degrees, or have a warm pink center. This burger was not even close. The inside was almost completely gray, with a sliver of pink, roughly a medium-well cooked look. However, by this point, I was hungry, so I didn't care. Remember when I said my significant other ordered a "sizzling" platter? Well guess who's platter didn't come out "sizzling"? You bet! We were both very disappointed with our meals, even if we wanted to complain, we didn't see Paulette for the next 15 mins, and by that point, we were both done and ready to leave. I'm not the type of person to voice my opinion to the management of a restaurant, because all that leads to is bad feelings, followed by forced apologies, followed by come sort of comp-offer, or free dessert, so I will simply state it here.
