Just finished eating our takeout. Absolutely delicious! We ordered the Thai basil beef - so spicy and soooo good! Also chicken AND pork fried rice, spring rolls, sesame chicken, and the regular house salad with the peanut sauce. Amazingly delicious!! I will definitely order again.

I would not drive out of your way to dine at Peppermint Thai. However, if you're in the area, it can be reasonably good. Some caveats: * Service can be terrible. I believe food-quality is more important than service, but in this case, it's worth noting: We've ordered pickup with a 40-minute ETA, then have had to sit and wait another 45 minutes once we arrived (85 minutes total). We've also had them hang-up on us in the middle of our pickup orders because they're too busy. * Consistency is not their strong suit. We've ordered Pad Thai on at least 30+ occasions. About half the time it was made well, the other half it included entirely different ingredients. Sometimes it has a light/fresh taste, other times they'll cook with garlic and it will be very heavy. * Dirty. It can be a relatively dirty restaurant, in fact we've stopped dining at Peppermint Thai for this reason (compounded by service issues). * Slow, particularly during dinner hours. Since the Western Palm Beach area has expanded in population, there is typically a wait during dinner. When there is no wait, it often requires 30 minutes to receive an entrée. Some of the things they get right: * Prices are reasonable. However, special requests are always met with up-charges. For example, if you prefer vegetables instead of rice (low-carb option) that will be $2 more. * Their sushi, while not the best, has improved over the years and it's decent-to-good for the area. * Their Thai dishes, when you get the right cook, are good. Overall, if it's convenient for you, it's worth trying to form your own opinion. If you're in Mid/Eastern Palm Beach, I would not make a special trip.

It is so hard to find a good restaurant in West Palm Beach. I was lucky enough to have a local brings me here. The food are amazingly delicious. You have to get the lobster roll. It is very good and yummy. 23.95$? Totally worth it!! The pad thai is very yummy too!

Totally disjointed service turned 5* food into a 3* dining experience. I prefer having our drinks served prior to the appetizers and serving the entree while we're still enjoying the appetizers is unforgivable. That being said; the curry puffs and steamed dumplings were outstanding as was the pork Pad Thai and shrimp in basil sauce.

Been here a couple of times its good but not the best as its a lot of expensive then the other places I have been too and the service is really slow

Great Thai food!! Everything I order is delicious! The spicy conch salad, red curry, duck curry!!! Omg probably the best Thai curry around this area. Sushi is mediocre, it's delicious but not the best in the area. Also, I recently had the Tom yum seafood soup (4stars spicy) and it was amazing!!! It was a really good portion!

Came here for a quick late lunch so I could get back to unpacking from my cross country move. This place has fast service but everyone here doesn't look happy. The only laugh I got was when I asked if this place served papaya salad. The guy told me they make it here for their employees but it's not a dish for sale for customers. Ok.. whatever. I ordered their lunch curry which is good for $7, had to ask for some fish sauce to throw in it since it was a little on the bland side. *Don't come to this place if it's close to their closing time. I was sitting there at lunch 30 mins prior to them closing until dinner and my goodness... If only people could understand Thai*

Good Thai, the fried rice is great and so is the pad thai. The place is slow eat in or take out, but the quality of the food is always high, so a little wait is worth it.

I always had a sit down dinner their and always had a positive experience, until one evening I ordered take out , and halfway into my dinner I bit into a chunk of glass. When I called to let them know, they were kind enough to offer me a complimentary meal, but I never went back again. My main concern when I called was to warn them, to make sure, they discard the batch of Pad Thai, so no one else gets hurt. Luckily I was not hurt but I will never go back.

I LOVE this place. I am an American girl and don't venture very far out of my comfort zone but, their Thai Tea is to die for, their spicy crab sushi roll is making my mouth water as we speak and their spicy fried rice is spicy enough to keep me coming back for more without burning my mouth!!! I am addicted to Thai food!!!! I tried some other Thai places in the area and they just haven't compared!

O.M.G...... This place is AMAZ!!! my boyfriend had been bragging and bragging about his favorite Thai restaurant "peppermint" he took me here by surprise because I'm not one for trying new foods nor restaurants .... I had sushi (which was delish) but also had some of his Thai food .... To die for !!!! Only thing bad I would say about it would be no waiting lounge if their on a wait and service wasn't BAD but wasn't great .... Deff will return !

I know if I'm ever craving sushi this is my go to place.. It's always good quality, fresh, and delicious.. The of Thai is hit or miss but the sushi you can't go wrong

  • Nicole H.

It's a decent place for the area but the clear noodle is really salty and the soup that comes with the lunch special was just water with salt and one piece of wonton (with thick skin). The pad Thai is not bad. Overall is good price for all the lunch items.

  • Julie C.

With such an extensive menu, I never worry about what to order because everything is to die for! But beware because their spicy is SPICY if you're feeling in the mood for a little kick. Might be a good idea to talk to you're waitress regarding how hot is really hot. Their Mexican roll is my favorite and their entree portions are more than enough.

I can't say enough good scratch that amazing things about this place. It's been around forever, but starting being a regular here once we moved closer. They have am amazing variety of Thai, Japanese, Chinese and other options. My husband is a huge fan of their sushi and chicken fried rice, while I'm a huge fan of their Japanese chicken udon soup. I can assure you it is authentic, as it tastes exactly the same as it does in Japan. The only downfall to this awesome place is there is no kids menu so I end up having to buy the kids a huge meal to share. The prices are fair for what you get, and id say for a family of four to eat there it's around 55 dollars. Service is fast and the people who work their remember you and your fav meal!!! It's a must go to restaurant!!

  • Chloe T.

My favorite restaurant in all of WPB!!! I absolutely love their dynamite mussels, dumplings, and noodle soup bowls. They serve authentic Thai cuisine as well as fresh sushi...the only down side is that they're usually very busy so the wait could be long. This is a family-operated business so the quality is there. Good prices and big portions...A+!

I was taken here to see if this was "authentic Thai," and I would have to say no. This place isn't bad though, I don't know how much Thai food is in the area because I was just visiting from out of town but it's not bad. I don't think anything can be an authentic type of food when there is another type of food attached to the name.. that's just my opinion. Decor is decent, everything was clean and tidy. We ordered Thai iced teas, always a win. If you have never had one - try one. They came in a huge glass, bigger than normal ones so I was a happy camper. With the three of us we ordered Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. I don't know if they ran out of the wide flat noodles but the noodles they used for the Pad See Ew is not the original/normal noodles, they were much thinner (not as thin as Pad Thai). I was a bit thrown off. The food was okay, it tasted good but nothing amazing like I have tried. Give it a shot and see what you think. I may be a Thai food snob.. sorry.

This restaurant was recommended by people at work. The rice was okay, but seemed too dry. My daughter ordered pad thai and it was so dry it was practically inedible. It really was the worst pad thai I've ever tried.

I come here for the duck Basel, by far I think is the best in west palm beach. The service is friendly. The decor is ok, I think the sushi bar could of looked better.

Was there for the opener, and it's still my favorite Thai food today. My first foray into Thai food and I am glad this set the pace. The staff are so kind and accommodating. My kids loved it when they were little and as there palates matured, so did their choices in such a varied menu. Something for everyone, carnivore or vegetarian. The Shrimp in a Blanket are consistently perfect. Hot and crisp with a sweet dipping sauce. Andy has been rolling out sushi since he seemed like a kid and he just gets better with age. Always super fresh and lovingly served up in better than ample portions and panache. The curries are all cooked to your preference - Panang, Green or Massaman - they are off the hook. The offerings are always fresh and I'm not sure if the noodles are homemade, but those soups are a meal. Desserts are not the boring, gross ice cream and sherbets. These are homemade and specialty items that I have never seen or tasted before. We always get these fried dough things that come with a sweet, creamy, nutty dip. They are unique and a great end to a memorable meal. Fortunately, they are also open for lunch and have very affordable Bento boxes and other combo specials. Not a big wine or beer list, but this place is clean, comfortable and affordable.

Best Sushi in the whole Palm Beach area, the Beauty and the Beast Roll is a must try. We have a great time every time we go there.

I tried this place the other day and was so impressed to have found a great Thai and Sushi Restaurant in this area. The only thing keeping this restaurant from having five stars is the fact that their employees, predominantly what appears to be the owner, has a lack of patience. I get it, time is money. The first time, I ordered a shrimp tempura roll and since I've never ordered from there before I forgot to mention I didn't want fish eggs. My fault, I took ownership. I politely informed the owner that I didn't want fish eggs and he took care of it but wasn't very gracious. Again, my fault. The second time, I forgot to order my wife's side salad and an order of spring rolls. As I was waiting for my take out order, I told him I was going to order two other items and he again appeared annoyed. He should be happy I liked his food so much that I wanted to order more. Either way, I'll happily put up with grumpy as long as his food stays as delicious as it has always been. The sushi is extremely fresh. The sushi rice is just perfect. It's soft and has that perfect sticky consistency. The food is just amazing. All in all, this review should be five stars had it not been for grumpy. As I mentioned before, I'll happily put up with grumpy as long as the food stays as amazing and delicious as it has been.

My co-workers and I take out lunch from here almost once a week. I love the pad thai and pad se ew! Just a warning, 1 star spiciness is very spicy!! I've tried to get it a couple times, but it ends up being way too hot for me! I haven't tried anything besides those two dishes because if it ain't broke, don't fix it! :-) The last 2 times I ordered from there, the food was a little bit dryer than normal. That is really the only complaint that I have! I am usually able to get three meals out of one lunch portion! My dad took out for dinner one night and the portion was HUGE! Definitely good value for the money! And you get a discount for paying cash.

We live a couple of miles down the street. For every birthday and/or anniversary, this is where we go. The food is simple, fresh and the service is excellent. Has to be one of our favorite restaurants in the Western Communities, in Palm Beach County.

I love Thai food, and are very picky about authentic thai. This is my favorite thai place in town- great sushi, panang, and rice. Only thing I'd advise them to do is to clean the bathroom area as it's a little on the flithy side. It can be a little off-putting to customers.

  • Zach G.

Pad thai was delishious. If you like spicy get with three stars. The spicy fried rice was good with chicken and pineapple added. Thai tea was good, stay away from Thai coffee. Wife was not impressed with the sushi. Lunch special prices were great. Only $6.95 for meal.

The Pad Thai is amazing, and I can't get enough of the Tom Kha chicken soup! Not to mention, the staff is always, ALWAYS so friendly. One of my FAVORITE Thai restaurants!

First visit to Peppermint was solo. I was kind of in a hurry and the place wasn't busy, so I tried it. Service was efficient, polite and well done. I did enjoy my food, which was Garlic Chicken with vegetables and white rice. I also tried the sushi (a single piece of tuna). My ONLY complaint on the food was that for a garlic-based dish, it was a little too sweet, and I like sweet dishes and know that Thai food uses sugar in almost every dish. Besides that, the dish was very well cooked and presented! I would give 4 stars for the above reasons, but the place does need an update, especially the bathrooms. Also, the environment was somehow a little claustrophobic or something. I was not at ease, feeling like I was being watched or something. Maybe it was just me.

Can't wait for my Panang Curry tonight.... This place rocks, number 1.... Dee Maak, alloy Maak, in my nit noy vocabulary, that means taste great, ask for som Dow ( three star)!!!!!! You will sniffling a bit, if that not hot enough ask for some prikee nu ( Thai chillies in sweet fish sauce) Go out of your way and try this place!!! You won't be sorry Take it from someone who has eaten in Bangkok, Changmai, Kanchinaburi, Hua Hin, Pattaya, Phuket... I had a bowl of tam yung gai at the River Kwai, served by a cackling lady with teeth stained from beetlejuice... It cost me 5 cents.... I gave them 25 , it was that good I think that same lady came here and opened Peppermint....

We love this place! Food is always great! :) and the service is stellar! Avoid lunch time. They are extremely busy. Even if you call ahead of time, it can take up to an hour (and no I'm not exaggerating)!

Yum! I've been working in Florida for work for a few weeks and recently I wanted to satisfy a Thai craving. I've had my fair share of terrible Thai food so I had to do some thorough yelp research but all of the good reviews made it easy for me to settle on Peppermint Thai. I tried the pad kee mao with beef, steamed gyoza, spring rolls, garden salad, a spicy tuna roll, and a salmon roll. Everything was delicious. The kee mao was my favorite dish. It was spicy and full of beef, which was a pleasant surprise since most restaurants like to skimp on the protein. The spring roll was crispy but not greasy and the gyoza was perfectly steamed and not gummy. The sushi rolls were just so-so which is why I'm not handing out all 5 stars. The portions were generous and prices were decent - really good bang for your buck. If you get delivery, like I did, you need to order at least $30 worth of food and pay a $2 delivery fee. The service is quick and staff are v. friendly.

As a New York transplant I must say the thai food is delicious. The service is horrible on the hand. Everyone always seems to be running around confused. The place is extremely popular but they seem to have more staff in the front than actually cooking. As I write this I'm waiting for my order to pickup. I was quoted 30 minutes which seemed long to me in the first place, an hour later I'm still sitting here waiting. AN HOUR, I have not been offered a free drink or anything

  • Sean A.

I'm tearing up as I write this. Either from my fond feelings for this restaurant or the curry that the waitress warned me not to order "hot". This place is AMAZING! The thai food is not to be missed. There isn't a bad thing I've had on the menu and I've eaten my way through a significant portion of it. And the sushi, oh the sushi. It's my wife's favorite food and while the rolls may not be the most creative you'll ever see, I promise you they are the best. The. Very. Best. This is the 2nd best place to eat in Royal Palm Beach and the best thai food I've had anywhere. Head west on Okeechobee Blvd. and look for the plaza's silly blue roof. You can't miss it.

Love the fired rice. I haven't had anything bad from this place. It used to me smaller. And harder to get a table. We order to go most of the time now since we are just around the corner. Friendly and helpful staff.

4.5 stars! Ok, decor and mood was nice. Looked very clean! Service was right in point. Couldn't ask for better. Food portions were large so beware. I have never seen single portions Namsod & Tom Kar soup that big. As far as the hot spicy factor, I typically order 5 star spicy and usually find it to be a 3star for me personally. This place...straight up Thai! They only went to 4 stars spicy and it had me sniffing and tearing throughout my meal. Everything was fresh and great! We will be back.

Loved the sushi roles! Thai was good as well! Our favorite things were the rolls on special - the playboy roll was fried and we really preferred the non-fried rolls

The strip mall it's in seems dated... as soon as I opened the door I was impressed. This place was great! I was working in the area and pulled it up on yelp. I am so glad I decided to stop in. The decor is modern and the service was great. I ordered the lunch Vegetable Green Curry. They brought out a salad and spring roll to start and then a good portion of rice and bowl full of curry. I couldn't believe the amount of food for the price. My total bill was $7.67 plus tip. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP! The green curry was creamy and SO flavorful. One of the best I have had in a while. I have been on a little green curry hunt ever since I was disappointed by my regular joint. You must try this place!

Must try for sushi and no sushi lovers! My husband is a foodie, me not so much. A friend of mine recommended this place and I had driven past it probably 100 times and never thought much of it from the outside appearance (it's next to a little Caesars need I say more). But since it's close by and was on our way home we decided to give it a try. Wow! The service was nothing short of amazing. Very clean and staff was friendly and attentive. But the most important part is the food. My husband is a sushi guy so he orders just about every roll on the menu and wants everything. No joke he ordered probably $60 in sushi just for himself. The waiters laugh that it's too much food for him since he is a small guy but he loves sushi. He says it was great. Some of the best he has had in Florida. I had the chicken teriyaki. Now I know it sounds boring but I have food allergies and a horrible palate so I usually go safe. Out of this world. Two large juicy chicken breasts and tons of veggies and rice. I took half home and are it for dinner the next day. Really a great experience an not expensive. I highly recommend.

Went here last night for dinner with my mom and the food was great. It was really busy on a Saturday night. Our appetizers came quick but the entrees took almost half an hour to be served, some customers were mad and decided to leave. The servers were nice but sometimes slow took them 10 mins to give us an extra bowl so that we can start eating. The food was great! Thai lettuce wrap was amazing. So far so good just dont come on busy days well u never knw

I visited Peppermint Thai & Sushi Resturant on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was quite crowded. I didn't expect much from the service, upon seeing this. I was pleasantly surprised. The waitress was extremely helpful in selecting menu items, spices, etc. I've been to some great Thai places in random cities (Pittsburgh, Ithaca, NYC) and this is right up there with the best. The decor was pleasant for the place being in a strip mall and the food was fresh, came out fast, and tasted incredible. Can't wait to return on my next trip to Royal Palm Beach!

I went in for lunch yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Contrary to a rather drab exterior, the inside was clean, nicely decorated and every thing looked new. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Everything from the fresh crisp salad, to the hamachi hand roll and red curry squid were delicious and fresh. I was in the seafood business for 20 years so I am very critical on seafood freshness. Don't let the exterior fool you. Great pick for Thai or sushi. JC

Best red curry in palm beach county. Cute interior. Don't be fooled by the old shopping center on the outside. Inside good service and great food. Yummmm.

I saw the great reviews on here and decided to give it a go . . . MISTAKE! We did the Thai food. I ordered the cashew chicken but asked if it was possible to make it with no oil. The server said no problem! When it came out . . . 40 minutes later (no joke) it had about a half of an inch of oil on the top of the serving dish. When the server came by he said that its because the sauce is all oil. He did appologize and say that it was his fault, he should have mentioned it, but I was still sitting there waiting for another 20 minutes while they made another dish. My friend got the pad-thai which was not terrible but nothing I would ever orlder again. Its always disappointing to go out to eat and know that I could have cooked better food at home. It was very busy the entire time we were there, so I guess some people do really enjoy it! However, I will not be going back.

I have been going to Peppermint (or having it delivered) for at least three years now after a friend mentioned that he and hi partner loved the food. I eat Peppermint Thai at least twice a month and would eat it more often if I could. I almost always order the Panang Curry with Chicken (extra hot) but on occasion I dabble with Pad Thai or Garlic Chicken. My go to appetizer is the curry puff but the spring rolls are tasty as well. For soup, I can only speak for the clear noodle soup and it is delicious. I am not a sushi eater but I know that at least 3/4 of the business that comes in is for sushi and sashimi. I love that the menu is so large I don't have to worry about eating fish (ick for me.) I love Peppermint for its cleanliness, tasty food, and great service. I have made at least 4 other people converts and my roommate was jut introduced to Peppermint this month and he has already been three more times. Notes: Pay in cash and get 10% off Get it delivered with a $25.00 minimum

Pad Thai was fantastic and the pork panang curry was great! Prices are great and you get a lot of fresh, delicious food. Will have to try the sushi next time. Our server Lawann was wonderful. Fast, friendly, and funny! Looking forward to going again...and eating the rest of the Pad Thai for breakfast!

I am not Thai but have lots of Thai friends who cook. This place is amazing...trust me I know yummy Thai cuisine. Used to go frequently but recently moved ;( check them out and try the Thai coffee, pad won sen, and fried rice (they serve delicious Thai fried rice...and yes there is a difference btwn this and the Chinese version)! Sushi is always fresh. Family restaurant with friendly service. They recently added more booths and renovated the dining room. Highly recommended!

I went to Peppermint Thai time around December '10 for lunch to meet up with a friend. Its a quaint little restaurant with a sushi bar in the center. Service was a little slow, although there was only one server at the time with very few tables. I ordered from their lunch menu getting a Thai Basil with Tofu. I wouldn't say it was the best Thai food I have ever had, but it was decent. I did although feel it was a bit greasy.

WOW! I tried Peppermint while in WPB and was very impressed. The service was top notch. The Asian beer selection was adequate. The saki menu was good. I had the Dynamite Roll (seafood combination with the fixings) and it was great. Also had the combination Pad Thai and it was awesome. I would highly recommend Peppermint to anyone without hesitation. Great experience.

We've been to lot's and lot's of thai places in Palm Beach County over the years, and Peppermint is the best and most consistent of all we've tried. We've been going here at least once a month since they opened 5-6 years ago. Their Massaman Curry is my favorite. Their Sushi is okay, but I wouldn't recommend them for the sushi, but the Thai dishes are consistently outstanding.

Dined with two friends and my partner. The other couple are quite flamboyant, and immediately hit if off with the waiter, who was either gay, or quite gay friendly. His service was attentive and helpful, not sure why others have complained of service, although this was quiet midweek around 7:30. We ordered many appetizers, way too many, and they were all delicious, and very large portions. I should have remembered their names so I could recommend, but I'm guilt of not doing so. Everyone else at the table ordered variations on pad thai, which was delicious. I have jumbo shrimp in basil. The shrimp were indeed jumbo, but way too chewy. Would not select that entree again. As to the decor, we sat in the front corner and looked into the restaurant, and it was unimpressive, but we really didn't expect anything more. This was an excellent meal, and not high priced. Would return if in the neighborhood.

Great delicious food. Thai & japanese dishes are great. Loved the garlic chicken just wish they would put more meat & not so many veggies. The sauces & flavors are excellent. My kid loves the chicken yakitori. Will continue coming here for sure!!

  • Penny B.

This place is a little overpriced. $12 for duck noodle soup?! It's basically their version of pho (beef vietnamese noodle soup). The broth was pretty good, but not for the price. The sushi wasn't anything special either. Compared to Pho 16 (for noodle soup) in West Palm Beach, it just doesn't compare in cost or flavor. But I suppose for Wellington/ Royal Palm Beach food it's one of the better restaurants...

They were busted last year in a string operation buying illegal fish (snook) from the back of a truck in the back alley. We tried them again after giving the place a year off... and went totally downhill. Three of us for lunch, not good, not going back. what a shame

I love finding underated gems like this one. It a really nice resturant located in a strip mall next Hungry Howies pizza. As I walk up i'm not really expecting much. Then I walk in. Elegant, lovely, smiling people very low key. Sort of like a dress shirt and slacks kind of place. My waitress comes up, smiling genuinely. She knowledgeable about the menu. Its actually a family owned and operated resturant. The food was very good and the sushi was excellent. A huge menu and a wide variety cooked to your specification. Really great find.

When you're in the mood for good Thai food and/or Sushi, this is the place to go. Don't let the run down plaza deter you from going. This place expanded because they are so good! The spring rolls are so crispy, the curry puffs are wonderful, the shrimp in the blanket are to die for. As for meals, I've tried so many different things it would be hard to name them all. The Pad Thai is still my ultimate favorite! The staff always have a smile and are always friendly.

You wouldn't expect a great sushi place in the burbs, but this is an exception. Outstanding food and service. Delicious fresh sushi. Staff is uber-friendly. Been living next to these guys for over 10 years. Clean, beautifully decorated, recently remodeled. Its Royal Palm Beach Japanese secret, worth the trip from the city.

This is by far my FAVORITE restaurant in Florida! I eat here about every other week! When I went away for college, every time I'd come back home--I'd stop here and eat as soon as I could get there and once again before I left! Every celebration lunch/dinner I have... is at Peppermint Thai! The food, people, and atmosphere are just that great! Granted, I've been eating here since they opened--but it is a family owned restaurant and not only is the food and presentation amazing--- the family is so accommodating and kind. It is not a loud and crowded place but very "zen-like" if I don't say so myself. So, if you're looking for a place to get rowdy and watch the game--- stick to Hooters. This restaurant is perfect for a satisfying meal, a nice first date, take out/delivery, or just getting together with good company. I have eaten everything (I'm not kidding) listed on the menu and all of my friends that I have either brought to eat with me or that I have suggested they try it, always end up going back for more! My personal favorites- *Drink- Thai tea (if you have a sweet tooth like me), Kirin (if you're feeling fun ask for a sake bomb) *Appetizers- Spicy octopus salad (if you're not afraid of eating octopus and you like something that is refreshing and spicy at the same time) *For sushi- Kiss of the Dragon roll, Sex on the beach roll, Caribbean roll, TGIF roll, Mexican roll, Playboy roll (these rolls are HUGE!! And I'm just listing off my frequent favorites--- if you order these all at one time--you'll be stuffed for a lifetime) *If you're not into sushi- try the Pad Thai with chicken or their Panang Curry--- my all time favorite dinner combination (when I'm not ordering sushi) is an order of the Tom Yum (Spicy) Seafood soup followed by an order of aged tofu and their Teriyaki Steak dinner plate or (try my Dad's favorite) mixed Seafood Garlic sauce. ***Always finish up with dessert! Try their Thai donuts or my favorite--- red bean or green tea mochi ice cream (not too sure if the mochi ice cream is on the menu yet but if they have it, I ask for it because it is icing on my Peppermint Thai and Sushi cake!). They also offer gift cards, you can sit and eat at the sushi bar and hang out with their awesome sushi chefs, Andy & Beau, or relax at a table or booth. Also! If you don't see something on the menu that you'd like, ask and I'm sure they can concoct it for you--- that goes for sushi too (just tell them what you like and don't like and they can make you a special roll)! I think that covers it all! Ohhhhhhh! And----- for Luis (the reviewer at the bottom that says it smells like mold) you should go back and check it out again since they've expanded to the building that was next door because I've never smelled anything but deliciousness when I walk in there. PS: Pay in cash and you get a discount!

peppermintthaisushi.com What blew me away about this place was that it offers 3 MENUS! You can even read them on line. You have Japanese, Thai and Sushi. On a recent visit for my GFs very special B' Day; I decided to ask our waitress who was (very helpful), for her suggestions. We both ordered the Tom Yum Chicken soup (Thai) $4.95 and the wonderful Spider Roll (Sushi) $9.95 that had to be the best thing I have ever tried. Eventually we ordered another..it was that good. The waitress then guided us through the "specialty menu" we ended up with the Orange Duck (very good) $18.95 and Hawaiian Shrimp, also (very good) $18.95. This was my first time for Thai food and I must say that this establishment gets rave reviews from everyone that goes there. I was told they have now been open 6 years and I can see why. They also offer a great lunch menu at discounted prices. You probably would never consider a place like this from it's outside appearance. The inside is also very simple but its easy to see that it is kept IMMACULATE and clean. Word of mouth is the reason why it has survived this long and you wont be disappointed if you decide to give it a try. Excellent for a special occasion and lunch but perhaps, just a bit pricey depending upon what you choose to order for dinner. This place is hard to beat for the quality of food and friendly service.

I have never really had Thai from an actual Thai restaurant so I was excited when I finally got my husband to agree to order here. I went in, got a (HUGE) menu and we ordered over the phone while we ran some errands. I had the Tom Yum (Chicken) and I loved it. Also had the Thai Spring Roll, which was very fresh and quite tasty. My husband had sushi and enjoyed it very much. I'm considering taking my entire family to eat in the restaurant for my birthday dinner on Friday. It's that good.

This was a great find! I've driven by so many times and never would have thought to go in because it's not the most welcome looking shopping center. But don't be fooled by the exterior! Very nice inside. Great menu with lots of variety, great sushi and very good prices

the food is great; however, the customer service sucks. Rude attitude and mess up my orders. :(

Great little place. I'm partial to Thai and this is one of the best around. I've been going there for years for dinner and sometimes love the smaller soup+stirfry lunch special. Great stuff.

Nothing good to say about this place. Been there 3 times, 3 times dissapointed. None of the Sushi tasted fresh. Not very creative, either, in the way of Sushi House Rolls. Service left a lot to be desired, as well. You want REALLY GOOD Sushi?, Go to Sushi King on 441, just South of Okeechobee Blvd... Now that's great Sushi.

When I'm craving Thai food, which happens to be nearly daily, I know I can always make my way to Peppermint Thai and I'll be glad I did. This restaurant in just minutes away from my house so it makes it extremely convenient. They even deliver if I am feeling lazy. Friendly staff, clean environment and a large selection of Thai and Japanese dishes - there's something for everyone. If I was just rating the Thai food, I'd give it 5 stars, but their sushi just doesn't do it for me. My advice, stay with what you know they are great at. If you pay with cash, you'll save 10%.
