We were headed to a free movie screening at the nearby Regal Theatre. We haven't been to a Friendly's in years. I did not know there was one down here. The last time I went to a Friendly's was on a road trip to Orlando. We were seated quickly and our server, Christian was cool. We ordered the chicken tender appetizers with buffalo sauce. It was good. I was quite impressed with the buffalo sauce. I ordered a hamburger with fries and my friend ordered the Crispy Chicken salad. Simple and yummy food.

What a terrible experience. Oh how I wish I would have read the Yelp reviews before coming here. Never again. Never EVER again! This place has terrible service and terrible food. We came in a little after 8 on a Friday night and the dining room had maybe 10 tables occupied. The remaining tables were all filthy and not bussed. We had to wait a few minutes for someone to come up front and seat us. We asked if we could have a booth and an instant annoyed look came over her face as she asked us to wait a bit longer as they had no available booths because they had not yet been cleaned. After a few more minutes wait we were seated and our waitress asked us for our orders. We had never been there before so we didn't know the menu well and needed some extra time. We ordered our drinks which were two sodas and a chocolate shake. She quickly returned with the sodas and informed us that we would have to wait a while longer for the shake. She then asked us for our order but we still needed more time. Within the next 10 minutes she returned about three more times and asked us for our order but we were still undecided. Despite the fact she asked us for order so many times we still had not received the milk shake yet. We also were not offered refills on our sodas. I guess she got fed up with us not knowing what we wanted so she stopped coming back to our table. We were seat literally directly in front of the register and our waitress stood there at the register a dozen times and never addressed us again. We even placed all of our menus on the edge of the table to let her know we had decided but she never returned to take out order or to bring us our shake. After a while longer she finally brings out the shake which tasted exactly like microwaved ice cream. We stopped her before she walked away to talk her we were ready to order. She took our order and we waited nearly 30 minutes for our food to arrive. When it arrived it was not very tasty. We ordered two chicken sandwiches and a burger. The burger was so badly burnt is was nearly inedible. The chicken sandwiches were not too great either. We then waited nearly 20 minutes just for her to bring us the check. I don't think we will ever be returning here again.

This place reminds me of growing up in New England. It was always a treat to stop for an ice cream cone. Although they've discontinued my favorite flavor, chocolate almond chip, I've found a passable substitute by mixing dark chocolate and Carmel nut.

This is an old favorite of mine. I remember when this Friendly's had an ice cream shop in the front of the restaurant and my friends and I would go there to hang out while getting our sweet on. It's not there now, but they still have a huge selection of ice cream dishes to choose from. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is available too. I got the Canadian bacon and cheese omelette with home fries and toast for lunch. It was alright. The fries were a little dry and the toast had way too much butter on it. I didn't mention it to the waitress since it wasn't that big of a deal. The service was quick and our waitress was super friendly. The reviews prior to mine has a totally different opinion, but I struck gold in this case. Score!

This use to be my daughters favorite spot for breakfast, it's changed a lot. The service was great but that's about the best I can boast. The food just doesn't taste the same as I remembered and the portions seem smaller. No ketchup, jelly or condiments to speak of on the table requiring you to make frequent requests to the wait staff. The experience left me feeling nickel and dimed.

Place is very very dirty. The booth was covered in syrup and pancakes my daughters hair stuck to the back of the seat...yuck. Food was barely edible and service slow. Went for lunch and took about 45 min for burger and salad..

I have to say I was extremely disappointed on this visit to Friendly's. We went at 2:45pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was pretty empty. No one greeted us upon entering and no one was at the hostess stand. Three different servers were standing around talking, looked at us several times but ignored us. We were talking about going somewhere else when we were finally acknowledged 5 minutes later. Our waiter (I think his name was Sam) was one of the worst waitstaff I have ever had the privilege of having. It took 10 minutes to get our drinks. We were his ONLY table. Friendly's has "revamped" their menu, meaning they took everything good off it. I ended up just having a cheeseburger. My dining companion had a bacon burger and waffle fries. It took 40 minutes to get our food. Again, the place was empty, maybe 5 tables total in the whole restaurant were occupied. The server did not bring mustard or mayo as I requested when I ordered, I then asked for them again and was brought mustard and ketchup. I again asked for mayo and it was brought out a few minutes later. My dining companion asked for BBQ sauce when ordering and that wasn't brought out either until requested a second time. The food was ok, kind of hard to screw up cheeseburgers. The waiter was inattentive and we ate quickly and asked for the check right away. The whole visit was just a letdown. Who likes to repeat themselves multiple times to get what they want. I think we will avoid Friendly's for a while.

Awful! We just wanted to get ice cream, so we were told to sit at the bar. We waited for 10 minutes before someone showed up. He did not give us any menus and told us he would be right back. We waited 10 more minutes before we left. It was not even that crowded, there were plenty of tables inside the restaurant. We could see people in the kitchen goofing around, and it looked dirty. Never attempting to go back.

This place will be out of business by the end of the year. Food and service are terrible. They are an awful representation of the Friendly's brand. If I were the corporate, I'd be all over them to improve or they would be shut down.

Don't ever get dinner there. Horrible. I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. Extremely slow service. I use to be a regular. Not anymore.
