Not a bad burger, but a bad experience. Besides the burger missing one of the toppings I ordered, there were only 9 wings in my order of 10. I brought the wings back up to the counter and the waitress/cashier brought them back saying there was 10. At the end of our meal I brought the bones up for them to count, without even looking they insisted they had given us 10 wings. I was definitely insulted, as if my night out was focused around going somewhere and trying to beat someone for "a" chicken wing. Manager had nothing to say, very poor decision. Sadly for Fosters, they lost 2 potential regulars who live in the area over a bad decision and the cost of "a" chicken wing. Too many good places in the area to deal with this nonsense.

Was surprised by the previous mediocre to negative reviews. We usually eat here once a month and I consider myself somewhat of a food snob. Anyways, for me the burger is one of the best around, good quality ground sirloin, cooked as ordered, fresh buns, crisp and cool LTO, and great fries made on site. Plus I like my burgers off a grill unlike 5 Guys. I put this burger up with the best in town, specifically Brass Ring Pub. As mentioned we eat here on a fairly regular basis and the quality of the food has always been consistent. Besides the burgers, the wings are pretty darn good too, good sized, served perfectly cooked, with a nice selection of sauces to choose from if that is your thing. As for service, how can you complain there really isn't any? You write down what you want on a menu, take it up to the register, pay your tab, and then a server brings out your food. Perhaps Boca girl is more accustomed to a suitable response for her grand entrance.

Reading the reviews I am wondering if we were in the same restaurant as everyone else. We had only been there once before and forgot how to order. All the order forms were piled in front of the register so you had to wait for everyone in front of you to place their order. Very inefficient. When we asked for help ordering the person behind the counter acted like we were idiots. I wanted to tell him to come sit behind my desk without being told what to do and see how he makes out. We filled out our orders and he got my husbands order wrong, then made it seem like I was silly to say something because it was right on the form. Then we sat. And sat and sat. It took over 15 minutes for our order to come and the place was empty. People that came in after us got served before us. The server had to emotion or energy to her. My husbands sandwich was ok; he got the philly cheese steak. I got the turkey sandwich and it was awful. Bland, tasteless. The fresh brewed iced tea was very good. And the fries were also really good. Based on the other reviews I will give this place one more shot.

Good char-burgers and hand cut fries! Good sweet tea too! Good lunch at a decent price! I guess the theme here is "good"! LOL

Ah, so I came here on the way home and met a friend of mine for some grub and chit chat. We enjoyed our burgers, fries, and two refills of sodas all for 5 bucks each. I had a coupon for buy one, get one free meal. Score! I thought about getting a milkshake, but I held off on it for next time.

What I would expect from a place run by teenagers. Read the other negative comments and I concur 100%.

(Not to be confused with Foster's Pub) We ate last night 01-28-2014 at Foster's Service, from the kitchen was very slow. My meatball sandwich was slightly warm and not hot enough to melt the single piece of cheese on it. The sauce was burnt, and the sanwich very small for the price. One can get better at Subway's and for less. Wife had their signature charburger. The bun must have been frozen it was hard, burger was good. A half strip of beacon cost an additional $1.00. Fries were ordered extra crispy and they were not. Many soggy but others good because they use peanut oil. Really not worth going back.

Not a bad burger but kinda plain. Nothing special about this place. French fries were over cooked and small. The cheese and chili for the fries were out of cans and tasted horrible.

If you can make it in for their limited time offers, they are always really tasty! Fosters is running the Kickin-Chicken-Philly which is my favorite right now. The fries are made fresh and taste amazing! If it is your first visit, you need to try the bacon cheeseburger. It's their signature.

My 2nd time here was a charm! 1st time was way back when it was under different management-was so bad I vowed to never go back. Fast forward to "under new management " era: decided to give it a try since it changed management and it was absolutely wonderful!! Staff was courteous and food was great! Burger with fries and drink-very satisfying. Give the place another chance if you haven't been there since there was that "clown " that called himself a manager.

Agree that pass management produced a lackadasical, disinterested staff. However, this is a thing of the past and service seems a priority now, perhaps as a result of the tremendous number of reviews that were highly critical of the staff. The food is good, perhaps one of the best and largest burgers around. Do not order well done or it can be dry - medium comes out juicy and only slightly pink. Choose the cheese sauce instead of one of the sliced cheeses - you will like it. Prices are reasonable, even without using the coupons. The fries are served hot and the balance of the menu is also very good. It's clean and the sodas are not diluted and the toppings are fresh and nicely executed. All in all, an excellent value and a great hamburger.

Nice big burgers, hand cut fries. Love their chicken, grilled or fried. Thick milkshakes! A few video games, music playing and plenty of tv's for viewing.

So I haven't even eaten my burger and the dining experience is major lacking. I am reading the Thursday night offer "buy any adult sandwich and receive unlimited fries free" as it turns out when I ask about this when ordering, you have to buy the meal that's a coke and fries in order to get the "unlimited fries" . I was told "yep that's a misprint, well great deal Fosters! Not not not! It makes me wonder if all day happy hour on Friday is really just during the day, and not the nighttime, or some other BS. Oh well if my burger ever gets here I'm taking it to go, it will have to be a lot better than the other eight burger joints I pass to get here for me to come back. I'm out.

The building was ok... And the burger was edible. But that is the end of the positive notes. The staff is miserable...the guys making your food seem like hiding stuff in your food is their favorite game. But the worst is the manager. He seems as though he hates you and every one that comes in. do yourself a favor and go next store to 5 guys or outback. For a better, less expensive burger.

Ok, so my daughter and I are here for the first time. We just ordered our food which we had to fill out an individual form for each person. Staff exhibits laxity and I already see patrons around me complaining about not getting their order right. Not a good omen of things to come. We ordered 2 meals ( burger, fries, & Soda) and it took about 10 minutes not bad.....but they got my daughters burger wrong.....of course. They fixed it pretty quick. While the burgers where nothing to rave about...they were actually better than I expected. Patties were cooked properly and toppings seemed fresh. Downside was cramming a burger and fries in a single fry basket. Made it almost impossible to get your burger out unless you ate your fries first or squished your food. I ordered a Charburger with some toppings and a kid Charburger with soda fountain and fries for $20. Not really any kind of deal for a "No Frills" burger joint. All and all the menu is limited. My opinion is stick to the burgers. Seems as if it was a franchise concept that just didn't go. Mostly because that's what happens when you throw passionless minimum wage staff in to run the show. Check out my picture of the super staff. I could eat here again but would never go out of my way to come back.

This place does not care about its customers. They have one person behind the register and a cook who could not care less about getting the food out quickly. The food is just average. I will never go back. Plenty of burger places that will appreciate my business. Stay away.

I love that they can tell you a medium burger takes about 8 minutes to cook. And they were right. Delicious burger too! Great FRESH fries. Try this place even though the parking lot is...well, stupid.

Ok, so, we had been to Foster's a few times before and the burgers were always great, so we decided to go for lunch today. We walked in and the place was PACKED so we decided to eat outside since it was a beautiful day. We filled out our order forms and handed them to the cashier along with a BOGO coupon from our Enjoy the City coupon book. My husband ordered the 1/2 lb. burger and I decided to try the Philly cheesesteak with provolone and sauteed onions. The cashier was very friendly. She told us that with the coupon, we had to order meals instead of just single sandwiches. We pointed out to her that the coupon only stated buy one item, get the second item free. She consulted with another employee and was told that we were correct. She rang us up, gave us our cups for water (which, thankfully, are much larger than the water cups you get at most other establishments), and we went to sit outside. Our food was brought out to us within 10 minutes which is how long the cashier had told us. My husband had asked for his burger to be well done. It was barely well done on the inside and was burnt on the outside. My Philly cheesesteak was much smaller than what we had expected and the bread it was on seemed to be a hot dog roll and wasn't even toasted. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and were thankful that we had used the coupon because, otherwise, we would have felt like we overpaid for what we received. Seeing as how we have had good experiences there before, we will try them again but will definitely stick with the burgers and forget about the cheesesteak or anything else.

First time here... Ordered the philly cheesesteak, don't think I would order it again. Cute little make yippee own burger joint but think I like five guys better.

The food is always great and the service is outstanding. Best burgers in town and my family loves the place. The people are great and they bend over backwards to see if your happy with the service and food. Makes those box fast foods chains look small.

Oh Foster's, how I wish you were established closer to my home! I frequented Foster's for about two years; always the "Kids Burger" (otherwise it's huge!) with my toppings, fries and a drink... under $10. The location itself is seated in a huge shopping center near Costco and On The Border and offers plenty of seating. I've never had an issue dining here, other than making the drive out West to enjoy the food. :) Love the char-grilled burger you provide and the friendly service - my favorite day was when my companion and I ordered a specific beer and received complementary branded beer glasses as a "take home" gift. What a great surprise!!
