Bangkok Jam is in the northeast corner of the Publix plaza on Okeechobee blvd and Royal Palm. Its in a pretty hidden spot so they probably aren't getting as much business as they deserve. Tonight I had the beef Pad Thai to go. I was told it would be 10 minutes and my order was ready when I arrived. Slow night and I was warmly greeted by the chef as well as the hostess. I must say that they make some excellent pad thai. I noticed another reviewer saying his meat was tough but mine was good, tender and well cooked. Overall a nice balance of flavors and good portion size too. I did ask that it be made as spicy as possible, but if it were on a 1-5 level the spice would have been a 3. Alas this seems to be an issue with many Thai places these days. To the chef's credit he added extra chilis to the dish. However, the Pad thai was still great regardless. Their menu is actually pretty large and very reasonably priced, especially for lunch, and they also deliver.

My first time here! The service is super. The potion size is less than average. PLEASE MAKE IT BIGGER FOR AN AVERAGE AMERICAN CUSTOMER!!!! The taste of food is good. Both my wife and I enjoyed this trip! We had beef with green curry and chicken noodle... She loved the complementary Thai iced tea! We certainly like to come here again! .. Potions needs to be bigger!!! I do not want to order two potions for lunch for one person! SMH.... There is competitor that is a little better nearby!

So me and my boyfriend had dinner here at 3/20 around 9pm in the evening. We were the only patrons left and was still gladly entertained by the very nice hostess/ server with the same energy & enthusiasm. She guided us through the menu and recommended really great choices. I ordered the Soft Shell Crab in Panang Curry. It was delicious!!!!!!

Was hungry and found this place in the area. The Penang beef was a little tough the meat and the dumplings was cold in the center. I asked for fish sauce and the lady asked if this will do, not sure what sauce it was, dark sweet and spicy but was not fish sauce. Not the Thai I'm used to and I lived in Thailand for three years. Lol. Darn

When we first sat down wasn't sure because the plce was dead, but the service and food were both to die for! There were a lot of people who order food to go. Ordered Green curry and ginger chicken, the portions were good for the price.

I have eaten here three times since they've opened. Every time an over the fence homerun. Food is fresh and hot. Great flavor. I eat Thai food all over the country, and this one is one of the best.

A great find! The menu is the most extensive I've ever seen with a creative play on many of the dishes using ingredients that are the kind you find in most Thai restaurants. Today was my third visit in the last two weeks. I went with 2 friends who "didn't think" they liked Thai food. WRONG! With appropriate guidance, they loved the dishes they ordered, specifically wonton soup, garlic shrimp and one of the numerous noodle dishes. For myself, the Namsod is the best I've ever had. I've also had the Pineapple Fried Rice with Yellow Curry, Bangkok Chicken and Pineapple Curry (more traditional with coconut milk). All has been excellent. The service is great...kinda fun because the server says "thank you" to everything you say. She and the owner check back with you to make sure your dish has the seasoning you asked for. This gem has only been open for 7 months and is stuck in a corner of the plaza. I hope that the locals (and others) become aware of their location and visit them as I'm sure they'll become regulars.

After Malakor left, I thought we'd have no better options. But Bangkok Jam came in and has a very good selection that are fairly priced. Especially for the lunch crowd.

One of my favorite lunch spots. Wonderful fresh food and great service. Lunches come with a choice of soup or salad, and a spring roll. Prices are reasonable. Tucked into the corner of a strip mall so you have to look for it.

This was one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to! I had the steamed dumplings, spicy rice noodles with chicken and shrimp, and the fried ice cream. All three were delicious. They were not cheap on the meat. Service was great as well. Discovered this place through Groupon and immediately bought another Groupon deal for this restaurant when it came out. Oh, their special hot sauce is also delicious!

I came into Bangkok Jam for lunch. The decor is very delightful, and the hostess was very polite. We had the Pad Thai, spring rolls, shrimp fried rice, steamed dumpling, and wonton soup. The food was very well prepared. The restaurant was really nice and clean!!! I had a chance to talk with the owner. He came out of the kitchen to ask how our meal was and if we had any questions. Overall our lunch was excellent. I would definitely eat there again and recommend to all my friends. Well done!!!!
