Not a bad local/neighborhood bar. I live nearby, so I've seen this place several times, but a friend recommended we go. I have to say the beer selection was impressive. They have around 50-60 beers (tap, bottle, and can) to choose from. I'm a PBR guy (drank PBR before the hipsters drank it) and they have some great deals. This place has about 12-15 seats at the bar, in addition to a couple of tables (4 seats each) and a couple of high tables. There are several (4-6) TV's around the bar with sports on - my kind of place! The lighting is dim, the noise level is average for a bar except on night when they have live music - which can be a little loud for such a confined area - and the place is clean. The staff is great. I met Matt, the owner. Really nice guy and down to earth! The bar tender was attentive and quick. They serve food here, but the kitchen is on one side of the bar. The good news is that there's a huge vent right above the cooking area so the bar doesn't smell like grilled meat all the time. I ordered the buffalo bits, which is essentially just a grilled chicken breast cut into bites and Franks (or some other hot sauce) is applied. The good news is that it seems to be all real food (not processed) that they cook there. Here's why it doesn't get five stars though. The chicken wasn't great. I could tell it was previously frozen, it wasn't really seasoned, and it was slightly undercooked (I could tell from the couple of rubbery textured pieces of chicken I bit into). I will try other things on the menu and provide updates. Overall - good bar, great prices, friendly staff, clean joint, and lots of variety when it comes to beer. I'll definitely be back....just not for the buffalo bites.

What an amazing craft beer selection, I think it is great they offer several local brews too! The talking pint also has some wines and even root bear floats, yum. I also like how their bar food isn't your typical fried greasy food but everything tastes fresh and tasty ( I especially love the buffalo blue cheese burger)! On weekend nights there's live music and a jam session on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Friendly staff, very great and helpful owner, this is truly a fun place to hang out and drink some good brews.

Very nice place in the fishhawk/lithia area. The owner is usually behind the bar and making the food. I've been here a few times and love the burgers. There's usually live music and a good selection of craft beers that change pretty frequently. Outdoor seating if you want to smoke. The other customers have all been very nice. They also have wine and cider and even an alcoholic root beer that my girlfriend really likes.

I am from Texas, visiting family here in Florida. The fam considers this place a local hangout, which I can understand why. Small and narrow area, one sided bar top and a handful of tables. TV's are a plenty. Come on out for football games. Bartender was attentive social. He even turned the grill on for us on Xmas eve :) Typically have a few local and rotating beers on tap. Menu is light bar food such as pita sandwiches and a bag of lays chips. All reasonable. Is this a place to travel across town for? No. Is this place worth (affordable/welcoming) making a nearby hangout? Yes.

Great atmosphere! And LOVE that the owner is right there cooking. So down to earth. So relaxed and such a good place to go to have a beer or wine and some food!

Hubs and I tried this place w/ some friends on the way to a Christmas party and really liked it! It's got friendly staff, beer/wine, and good snackage to boot! I loved that they had eclectic feel w/ mismatched furniture. The bartenders were very sociable and there's also featured live music. It's not as big as a World of Beer or Brass Tap, but similar feel if you're in the mood for something like that, but w/ a more intimate feel. We'll definitely return!

My sweet tea came in a hot stein :) and my mom stole all the fresh shrooms... Couldn't get enough of this little gem. Beer list is an A+

Went here for the first time Friday night and found a cozy little bar for just kicking back & relaxing at the end of the week. The Agave wheat on tap was excellent, the music was good, & the owners were friendly. Reminds me of '"Cheers". Only suggestion is to have the music go later than 11pm. We will be back!

Hey Norm!!! That's what I think every time I walk in to this cozy neighborhood watering hole where you always feel like they know your name. Matt greets with a smile and always has a delicious "soup today" simmering. The vibe is laid back and casual and always welcoming. Bar food is yummy with a big variety to choose from. Daily specials can't be beat. PINTS ARE PINTS!!! Live music too!! Thirsty yet?

I love this local place. Got turned on through a friend after they just opened. Great small atmosphere, good people, good beer, fun stuff to do. The owner Matt is very cool and has good microbrews on tap and plenty of food (sandwiches, hot dogs salads, soups; that kind of thing.) Live music, board games, walls you can write on, a freakin' huge old-ass console tv that you can watch horror movies on and laugh at with your friends (Don't worry, there's a flat screen too). And the place feel like a combination coffee bar/college bar and a more relaxed lounge. Seriously, go check it out (I'm usually there on saturdays.)

Very disappointed. Went to the Talking Pint recently with my wife and were pretty excited because we were looking forward to having a good local bar. We were incredibly let down. It's no lie they have a great happy hour and very reasonable prices for drinks but the unwelcoming atmosphere and unfriendly bartender overshadowed that big time. My wife asked about the soup and the bartender rudely said they didn't know if it was good cause she's vegan and won't eat it. I'm no connoisseur of craft beers but enjoy trying them out, never heard of these beers offered and ended up just ordering a Yuengling cause the bartender was no to concerned with telling me about any of the other options. We ordered one drink, left and can't say we'll be back.

Went here for the first time last night. Pretty small place, but nice atmosphere. Very friendly bartender. Wish they had a few more craft beers on tap. Didn't try any of the food, but will have to the next time I go!

A great local spot for enjoying craft beers that aren't found on menus at many other places. The beer selection changes frequently (once a keg runs out a new flavor is tapped, oh the suspense!) but there are three mainstays: Miller Lite, Yuengling(yay!), and Crispin Cider(double yay!). The bar also offers bottled varieties, along with coffee and cappuccino. There is live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays by local musicians, so get there early to get a seat, because the place fills up quick! There are also books to read, board games to play, and of course tv to watch. There's also some outdoor seating for you smokers, since the bar serves food. Great times will be had, whether you're alone or with a group of friends!

My 1st visit on March 19th 2014 at lunchtime to order a salad ( it had lettuce, grape tomatoes, suppose to have cucumbers but didn't, walnuts, c raisins and added black olives and feta cheese instead of cheddar cheese) I picked the balsamic vinegarette instead of the ranch which all suppose to be home made; with grill chicken added for a total of close to $13.00. The salad filled a Styrofoam to go container which was huge. I work very close by so I got back to work and start on my salad, immediately I use one of the balsamic dressings and it was extremely salty. I went back to the Talking Pint to exchange the Balsamic for the Ranch with no problem after I explained my concern. I added the Ranch to try to cut the salt. I ate about 1/4 and immediately became I'll (vomiting and upset stomach). I went back to the establishment and spoke to the waitress discreetly outside about what happened and She offered me 1st round of drinks (beer) on the house on my next visit and she gave me a Sierra Mist to help settle my stomach. She didn't offer a refund but an apology. I was sick all night and had to go to my physician the next day and was prescribed a med for my stomach pain and diarrhea........SMH!!!!

Great local spot to chill out. Feels like a coffee shop that serves beer. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Happy hour deal can't be beat. Go in with a friend and its good for conversation. Go in alone and you will find yourself talking to other people in the bar. Just a great hang out.
