About Taco Bell
Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.
The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.
Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

"Can I get a chicken quesadilla, a crunchwrap supreme, and a cantina double steak quesadilla? "We're out of steak" Cancelled the order and went to the Causeway location. Never again. Some outages I understand but steak? Really? I hope Pizza Hut never runs out of pepperoni.

Super impressed with the dollar menu at taco bell and at this location they made the burritos I ordered stuffed to the top! Was expecting a taco on a dollar menu to be all skimpy and dried out...nope...great job at this location for their quality on the dollar menu items!

Why did I let my son talk me into taking him here for his lunch?! There's a reason I call it Taco Hell. Drive thru service professional effervescent enough, but what she sold in courtesy she jacked in over site! Missing were my salad and my fire sauce. Folks, I need the burn and there simply isn't anything else to say here. I don't give names because frankly maybe she wasn't trained well, but no salad, sauce, or napkins?! My son said she was flirting with him the whole time because he got everything he wanted. I always feel rushed at any drive thru, but I suggest at this one you ALWAYS check your items. :-) another lesson learned.

The late night customer service here is FUN! They made me feel like a princess... All the hater reviews on here are all lies... They probably had parents that didn't love them as children... That is all
(5)Darrell J.
Line is usually fast and open late. As with most fast food in the South, it seems like they dont care and are generally rude. Worst of all, they are stingy with the hot sauce....even when you ask for more! Hate sauce nazis!!

This particular TB is not one of my favorites. They are always slow no matter if they are busy or not and prices here run about 10% higher than other TB's in the area. They have also screwed up my order a few times. On the plus side , staff is generally friendly.
(2)Kelli P.
For a Taco Bell, it's always a decent experience. The staff here is super friendly, drive through is always quick. Sometimes they forget parts of our order, but I honestly don't expect perfect service from a Taco Bell in the middle of Riverview, FL....
(3)Ashley D.
Usually at Taco Bell I have a good experience but at this one I have always been missing something from my order, and the quality usually is no better.
(1)Jessica J.
This review is not for Taco Bell itself, it's for Garrett, the young man who seems to run the place. He was incredibly fast at the register. He rattled off the difficult order before us with incredible speed and accuracy. He was polite to EVERYONE! Very quick to re-supply the condiment station. And when he noticed that the dining area was a mess (and it was...the booths looked like a small band of wilding children had fingerpainted the seats with refried beans) he quickly swept and wiped up all the mess. This man is the bomb. Give him a spot bonus or something.
(5)Christopher A.
The best Taco Bell I've been too. Best customer service. They're so good they apologize. Lol. But really one of a kind.

Writing this review for Taco Bell in general, not just this particular store. Oh my. Taco Bell. You and I have known each other for many years. I remember when I first got to California you were some strange exotic place to get something called tacos. When I finally braved up to try it I was pleasantly surprised by you. Not only did you have tacos but you had something called burritos and if I wanted to crawl back in my comfort zone you had something called Bell Beefers on your menu, Mexican hamburgers kinda. Long gone are the Beefers replaced by other Taco Bell creations. Among them were Chalupa's, Enchritos and your newest, Quesarito's. Did you know comedian George Lopez has the funniest routine making fun of your food? Anyway, lets zip to the present. Last night I had your Cantina Power Burrito with steak and chicken soft tacos. I have to say these items were very good. The burrito had tender steak, fresh veggies that actually crunched and guacamole, always a winner. The taco's were light and tasty. Taco Bell, you're like an old friend I see occasionally. Interesting to catch up with but you'd really get on my nerves if we spent too much time together. This fresher type food though helps your cause.
(3)Notso K.
Horrible! I place my order and the prices that are displayed are not what I'm being charged. I ask why I'm being charged more than the price that is displayed. She tells me "well I guess those prices are wrong". This is not a corporate store so they do not honor Taco Bell prices anyway but if your going to have your prices on the wall and not even honor those then I will take my business elsewhere. The price displayed for the combo I ask for was $2.79 I was charged $4.99. Ridiculous. Last time here!
(1)Philay D.
This my third time here and they are always messing up my order. Everytime!!! I'm so done.. I guess this is why I don't do fast food take out.
