This is pretty much just another Red Lobster full of mediocre overpriced entrees and all. I had shrimp tacos that were tasty. My boyfriend had the lobster baked potato as one of his sides, and it is truly amazing how lame they were. The piña coladas were pretty good. Our waiter was okay, but seemingly overworked. As such, he was forgetful, but at least he was unfailingly friendly. The bathroom here looked like a refugee camp with toilet paper tents. And smelled like one too... Overall, it wasn't anything to write home about, but wasn't the worst Red Lobster I've been to.

Awful. Three years ago I swore I wouldn't come back. At that time we ordered the calamari which came with bell peppers fried in the same batter as the calamari. The first piece of pepper I pick up looks odd because there is a "use by Wed" sticker on it the size of a half dollar that was breaded and fried with the pepper. The scampi pasta was swimming in oil, allowing me to drain a full cup of oil from the bowl of pasta. The manager said "sometimes it comes out with some oil in it"... Fast forward to tonight. One order had a skewer of grilled shrimp that were raw. My order of scallop and shrimp linguini alfredo came out with ZERO alfredo sauce... just a pile of sad looking noodles... the waitress was apologetic and went back to get some alfredo sauce. It bugged me (pun in there,,,just wait) that they would sen out a pasta alfredo dish with no sauce at all on it so I called the manager over. The manager apologized and said they would remake the dish instead of having me fix it at the table with the sauce. She also brought several more iced teas to the table for us. After dessert, we were sitting and discussing how disappointing the food was when I went to put my straw into one of the extra glasses of tea... that's when I realized it was a good thing I got it with lemon otherwise the poor roach in there wouldn't have had a perch to get him out of the tea! At this point we were thoroughly disgusted an laughing about how bad this place is. We showed our waitress and she was shocked. She got the manager, who came over, and stared at the roach for a minute before asking if he was in there the whole time! We didn't have a GPS tracker on the roach so we didn't know how long he was in there or where he had been earlier in the day... Our tab was already paid, and we just left. ***JUST READ ANOTHER REVIEW BELOW and they too had a roach issue... the way the manager stared at the roach in our tea was odd but it sounds like it shouldn't have been a surprise to her!!!!

Slow... slow... slow. Lunch took almost 2 hours. Never got biscuits... my husband waited over 30 mins for a drink refill. Not worth it.

Every six months I go here since they have opened and I swear I will never go back. My fiance talks me into it and I get more upset I went back. This location used to be great, but the food has gotten progressively worse. Three weeks ago we got the Ultimate Lobster Fest dish and the lobster was under cooked. How do you mess up lobster??? Everyone knows the thing that draws everyone here is the Cheddar Bay Biscuits and even they were not acceptable. You take away the one thing I can't resist... the biscuits! I think I can finally say I'm done. We both hated it.

I decided to take Mom to lunch today, since my Birthday week was extended -people just aren't booking massages while their kids are out of school, and I'm not complaining! Anyway, I took her to this location and we were sat in the very front of the eatery. The first thing I noticed was this heavy odor in the location, like wet dog. It was very unappetizing. When we were sat, the hostess was pulled aside by a waitress and told "Why are you sitting them there?!? Don't you know I was cut?" Ok, I get it, she wanted to go home, but you don't tell someone in front of guests that were just sat. Do that off the floor. It took another 8 minutes before someone even greeted us, and another 3 for someone to come and take our simple drink orders. We opted out of the apps today, I wasn't terribly hungry, and based on what I'd already seen, i wasn't sure what our experience was going to be like. Anyway, we placed our orders, mom ordering the Maple glazed chicken and I ordered the shrimp/chicken meal. They were delivered promptly, but I have to say I was disappointed in mine. The shirmp scampi was delicious! It was the "Grilled" chicken I had an issue with. I'm certain that when it came from the factory it might have been "Grilled" at some point, but today it was merely microwaved and tossed on the plate. The texture was rubbery and almost inedible. It was flavourless and over all just not right. When we asked for a drink re-fill, we had to wait 10 minutes for that too. Needless to say, service was not prompt, nor was the food up to par. I'm kind of sad that I wanted to eat here after all. The only good thing was seeing a friend I'd not seen in years.

Food was okay until a German Roach ran across our table top. Came from food, chair or floor? Don't know but wont be back. EVER. They did comp our food but that doesn't make us feel better.

Went here for Our 5 year Anniversary of being together. We were seated right away in a very dimly lit booth, i guess these restaurants think low lights are romantic. No its annoying, especially when you have kids with you. And i like to see the tables and menues. Our waiter was Bill. He was nice. I ordered a Lobsterita and Lobster and Crab stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. Our son a peach smoothie, hubby raspberry tea. Greated with cheddar bay biscuits and smiles. Eveything started ok. My husband's dinner was the 12 oz Ny strip, fries and rice. Our son mac n cheese and orange slices. I had the 4 course meal, New England Clam Chowder, Caesar salad, Shrimp and Scallops Alfredo linguini and Caramel cheesecake for dessert. Ou son loved everything. Hubby too, i tasted his steak, medium to perfection. The New England Clam Chowder had NO flavor, I had to add the croutons from my salad for flavor. I had one mushroom, bite of salad, delicious. Went to taste the Alfredo dish....bland and Alfredo sauce was super runny. I added pepper and a little sea salt. Was much better. We couldn't finish our food, the portions were huge. Other than that. Clean restaurant, nice location and nice place for a treat for dinner.

My hubby and I have been coming here for years! It's a favorite! Usually we sit at the bar and eat. I remember only once having a chewy lobster and they made good on it! The bartenders are ALWAYS super nice. Except for that one time, we have never had bad food or service. The servers are so accommodating, we have sat at a table now and then, the specials are good and generous, cheddar bay biscuits are to die for as we all know and I always get a few to take home. I don't understand all the bad reviews. I guess people who are unhappy share but more often, those who are pleased don't. After all, its just a chain restaurant. But I definitely recommend eating here. As good as any Red Lobster out there! Blessings all! Oh, they have nice TVs at the bar too, to watch a little of the game! I'll be there this weekend for my birthday! Lobsterfest!

This Red Lobster has gone down the drain. My wife's Salad was served with a hair in it. Food came out cold, and they placed my grilled shrimp on top of my mash potatoes. Main lobster tail nothing more than jumbo shrimp size, and was very chewy! Beware on Friday night when there is no wait.

Stopped in the other night after returning home from out of town. The family and I were well received and seated right away. The service was as efficient as ever and very friendly. The ordered seafood platters were delicious and the drinks hit the spot. We will be back. Thank you for the experience.

what happened to Red Lobster? ate last sat evening.. slow waitress.. potatoe soup had hard potatoes, seafood portofino had uncooked asparagus, change from the check was supposed to be $11.59, she brought only $10, thought I wouldn't notice. Goodbye Red Lobster.

I got food poisoning from some fried clams here a few years ago and have not been back since. I rarely get sick from food so they must have had some really funky clams out back. I will never go here again.

Lobster Dream turned into a lobster NIGHTMARE! We have just experienced the absolute WORST dining experience of our lives. This past Saturday night at Red Lobster of Port Richey. At exactley 6:45 we were seated at our table. At 7:08 we were finally greeted by our waitress FRAN. She started off by saying and I quote "I am really busy, I will be back in a few minutes" This should of been our clue to leave but my wife and sister were craving seafood. I then stopped her as she walked briskly away from us and asked her to at least get us drinnks. We continued to wait, and wait and wait!!! Finally she returned with our drinks after she stopped by her two other tables in our section to check in with them. I then instructed FRAN to take our order so it would help with our waiting time. We then received our salds and appetizers fairly quickly from another waitress. After about 2-25 minutes from not hearing from our waitress, as she was just basically IGNORING our table, I went up to the bar and got two refills for my wife and I. The bartender was a sweetheart! About 5 minutes from 9 our dinner entrees finally reached our table. ***SIDE NOTE*** The table next to us sat dawn after us, ordered their entrees after us, got their entrees before us, ordered drinks from the bar, paid their bill and left, the table was cleaned off and another couple sat down before we got our dinners! Now the food has finally arrived...I also forgot to mention that my two year old daughter has been patiently waiting this entire time as well! My stuffed tilapia is ice cold and mushy, the brocolli that I substituted is on the plate. My brother in law ordered the $30 LOBSTER DREAM it was absolutely disgusting looking, it had to be sitting under the heat lamp for some time! He took one bite of his maine lobster tail and couldnt swallow it, it was chewy! He then cut a piece of it to let me try it, I couldnt even chew it and get it down. So out of the 4 adults sitting at this table my brother in laws dish and my dish were un-eatable! I had my wife dish out some of her seafood bake, which I will admit was really good!!!! We polished that entire dinner off. Then good ole FRAN returns to our table, and she ask if we would like to-go boxes for my dinner and my brother in laws dinner. We continue to instruct her that the lobster dream was a lobster nightmare and was eatable. I tell her that my fish was soggy and cold, she tells me that TILAPIA is like that its a soft fish. NEWSFLASH FRAN, this wasnt the first time I ate or ordered TILAPIA. I was born in New England, I know SEAFOOD! Fran, it was very clear from early on while we sat down and watched you IGNORE our table and focus all your energy on the "older" customers. You should never judge a book by its cover, I am known for my large tips! I always tip when I get great service even if the food sucks! Fran makes us wait another 20 mins for the bill, we just want to leave at this point! Fran drops the bill off and says she had her manager discount our tickets for all of our problems. We then look at my brother in laws check and they charged him for his LOBSTER NIGHTMARE! At this point I was just done with this place! But my sister requested much to the dismay of Fran that the manager come to our table. Mike, sat down with us and we informed him of our horrible experience! Mike was very courteous and kind and did inform us that he would be discussing these problems with FRAN. He then grabbed both of our checks and ripped them up, he said he would take care of dinner or in my case my appetizer! FRAN was horrible! We have no desire to ever return to this restaurant! I hope I never run into FRAN again! What a miserable person!!!! I hope this restaurant takes the time to relearn this waitress so this horrible experience doesnt happen to another patron of their restaurant!
